Chinese Chicken Salad...pretty good, just wish there was more chicken on it. It's a big salad so you'll need an extra dressing.

Moderately expensive sandwich place with a Peet's coffee station in a different area of the cafe. Good varied selection to choose from. However note that they do not take cash! You pay using credit or debit card only. Also the paper receipt I got had faded ink so some places so be careful if u need it for business reimbursements. They give you an indicator which will light up when your order is ready and you have to come by to pick up your order. You can get free regular water from a fountain tap or buy the bottled water or other drinks. Sandwich I got was of moderate size and tasted fine. They have outdoor tables with overhead umbrellas to shade against the sun.

LOVED Specialty’s when I worked downtown SF- was thrilled to find this location. Parking is ample, lots of space to sit indoors & out w good lighting. Peet’s coffee shop in shared space is fire. Thai spicy salad was good - just not outstanding. I think I’ll stick the sandwiches for future lunches. My fave cookie is wheat germ chocolate chip. They had a good selection of baked good even just 2 hrs before closing. Also some day old 50% off. Service was super fast, friendly

Specialty's Cafe and Bakery is a great option for a quick and casual meal. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The cafe offers a wide variety of cookies, muffins, cakes, and pies, all of which are made fresh daily. I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a good meal in Mountain View.

Wonderful treats. Really loved the spinach and egg croissant - hot and fresh. The apple twist was nice overall but had a strange aftertaste.

Great food and a very comfortable and clean atmosphere. Cafe is Peet's and is okay too, maybe understaffed there. For example I ordered a cappuccino and I wish that they could have just told me they didn't have any whole milk or at least what they substituted it with when they gave it to me (see picture, pretty disappointing...). Over all the staff is wonderful though.

Bbq pulled chicken. Nice and delicious food, unfortunately rather small portions and highly priced.

Got a mini quiche and a blueberry muffin. Muffin was cold; not cool, but like it has been sitting in the fridge. Didn't complain because I didn't think anyone would care. First disappointment from Specialty's since their return.

I have never once ordered food at Specialty where my order was made correctly. I am allergic to avocado, I always ask for it to be removed from the Cobb salad that I order and every single time, it is made with avocado included. Now when I remind them I ordered the salad with no avocado, I get attitude. If it wasn't right by the office, I'd never come here again.

Mediocre, overpriced, and very, very slow. All I wanted was a cup of soup. Their staff took 13.5 minutes to ladle some chicken tortilla soup into a cup for my order (see attached receipt). Furthermore, they left out the customary piece of bread. In contrast, my Black Tie coffee was ready at the Peet's counter three minutes after the order was placed. In short, except for the coffee, a thoroughly regrettable experience.
