Excelente ubicación, decoracion muy original y para mi lo mas importante es la simpatia y las recomendaciones que nos dió el camarero. Da gusto ver trabajar a gente con tanta alegría.

Bar cafetería acogedora en muy buena localización. Terraza amplia y cómoda. Buena relación calidad precio, y servicio muy amable.

Estaba todo muy bueno la verdad, servicio rápido y correcto. Una gran ubicación, hacia mucho tiempo que no venia. Lo único que vi excesivo el precio por eso le dejo un 4.

Wandering through the old town with Paulicarus and Jorvic we stumbled on this lovely square (Plaza Julian Romea) so time for a couple of small beers (2.3€ each) . A nice shaded spot outside this modern cafe. They have a menu of the day for 11.95€ but only just had breakfast. Had one marinera (2.60€) between us. Very tastey. A peaceful traffic free spot to people watch. Most of the indoor seating is upstairs..as are the toilets.

A bit pricey if you want to sit out on the terrace (2.10 for a cup of tea), but in a great location with a lively atmosphere. I don't think I'd bother to sit inside, even on a mild day in March it was stifling in there. The tea was very good, looseleaf in a mesh bag, and the rooibos albahaca was surprisingly a great flavor combo.

Such a shame The terrace is wonderful, but the staff are so indifferent and surly. Slow service and with attitude. No one needs that ! Heaven knows why they are so busy. I wouldn't return.

El ambiente está chulo, es enfrente del romea, una terraza con luces y todo muy mono, pero precios y calidad regular. Me pedí un bocadillo de Golf, que lleva pechuga y llevaba una contada, al menos que le pongan dos, ya que vale 6 con algo, no solo pan y el vino tinto, a ver 3'50€ no está mal, pero es cierto que no es que sea el mejor del mundo, algo aguado estaba. Que vamos a pedir si es enfrente del Romea, barato es para el lugar que está.

Llevo viniendo aquí mucho tiempo. Se nota que han cambiado a los camareros, el servicio ha pegado un bajón…no limpian las mesas antes de servir, les pides algo y se olvidan de traerte la mitad. Antes atendía las mesas un señor maravilloso, con educación y era muy amable. Los chicos que atienden ahora…mal.. parece que se les obliga a tomarte nota…

Hacia tiempo que no iba a este lugar emblemático en Murcia y ha bajado mucho el nivel. Loa camareros mal, desordenados, equivocandose de mesas, las mesas mal colocadas, el suelo lleno de suciedad que ellos mismos tiran, etc. Mal, la verdad.los bocatas, bien. Pero antes era lugar Top y hoy me ha parecido mediocre.

This cafe is at a very good location next to the beautiful Teatro de Romea. Nice food, good coffee, very reasonable prices. But this place can get very busy. It also feels slightly understaffed, the two waiters struggled to attend to a few dozen customers all at once. They might benefit from having one additional waiter. It was all good apart from the long wait to get served. The smoked salmon roll tapas was delicious.

Servicio pésimo, llevamos más de 15 minutos sentados y todavía no nos han preguntado ni por la bebida, además los camareros con una desgana y criticando a las mesas diciendo está mesa se va a enterar. 0 recomendación si no quieres algo extra en tu comida

Would have been better review if were not ignored & order was correct. Ordered San Miguel 0.0 and received Coke Zero.... not once but twice!! Had to ask for menu (no eye contact & waiter did not look over once). Received but no follow up so no food ordered. Only good thing was the surrounding atmosphere when the people came out of the theatre.

Food was fine, however, service was poor. Tapas order was incomplete, bill arrived & was for full amount, when we pointed out we hadn't had the last dish, it arrived as we were ready to pay. To cap it all,we were short changed by 10 EUR, which we eventually got ! No tip left .

Siempre ha sido un sitio con un servicio maravilloso, sin embargo últimamente el servicio es penoso, no te sirven, se olvidan de la mitad y tienes casi que rogar que te traigan las cosas. El colmo es que pides que te atiendan y un camarero te dice que es que él está terminando

Buenas tardes No suelo poner críticas sinceramente, he ido a consumir un menú que aparentaba muy bien a primera vista pero todo lejos de la realidad,la ensalada César con el pollo quemado y exceso de queso para camuflar. De segundo plato el punto de los spaghetti era muy muy malo, con poca dedicación, el sabor bueno pero la pasta con cero idea de cómo tratarse, para punto final pido una tarta de 3 chocolates que olía y sabía a producto químico/alcohol algo muy extraño, tuve que dejar de comerla porque nunca había probado una tarta de 3 chocolates tan mal hecha, tenía dudas que estuviese en mal estado incluso, no pude con ella, me quito el hambre incluso su sabor/olor. En resumen, local con conocimiento nulo en cocina, el servicio normal(no es difícil servir un menú a 1 persona) en mes de agosto en el centro de Murcia, trato educado,sin duda no repetiré más aqui, hay sitios mil veces mejor en precio y calidad en el centro de Murcia.

Fuimos a tomar un aperitivo, la atención fue pésima las tapas sin platos, los camareros antipáticos pedimos pan o rosquillas y para colmo, nos encontramos varios pelos en la comida a lo que el camarero sin ningún resentimiento nos dice de acuerdo paguen y marche, y fue justo lo que hicimos! Nos pareció algo imposible de creer, ya que somos clientes desde hace décadas.

Experiencia muy negativa. Antes de ir llamé por teléfono para preguntar si era necesario reservar y me dijeron claramente que no, que se podía ir sin reserva. Aun así, al llegar pregunté por sentarnos en la terraza de arriba y nos dijeron que no podíamos estar allí, dando excusas como que había “cuatro camareros”, algo que obviamente no es culpa del cliente. Además, el trato fue muy desagradable y poco profesional. Cuando comenté que había llamado previamente, se negaron y dijeron que no habían recibido ninguna llamada, como si el problema fuese mío. En ningún momento intentaron dar una solución, solo malas formas. La experiencia fue todo lo contrario a lo que esperaba. Un trato muy deficiente y poca seriedad con la información que dan al cliente. No lo recomiendo.

He ido varias veces y siempre me ha pasado lo mismo. Servicio muy lento y muy malo el día 12 de octubre después de estar 30 minutos esperando para que me sirvieran un simple café llego una mesa y la atendieron antes que a nosotros y encima hay un camarero algo chulo no vuelvo más

I asked for a menu, and no one helped or even acknowledged me. The servers all seemed upset and unfriendly the entire time. Very disappointing, especially because the location is excellent and has so much potential. Come at your own risk!

My first tapas experience in Murcia. I was used to tapas served in malaga, ordering a beer and choosing a relatively cheap tapas to enjoy with it. Once seated in cafe del arco, I was able to order a beer and wine after trying to make eye contact with the waitress for 10 minutes, she must have thought I was trying to cheat on my girlfriend since she angrily looked at me before turning her head 180 degrees. I was finally able to order once her boss pointed to our table and explained that we probably wanted to order something. Once the drinks arrived we enjoyed them for a bit before ordering a salmons rolls and a cuttle fish croquets. Both were tasty, however only one piece per dish is served. Then for the second round we ordered a russian salad (3 euros) and 1/2 portion of jamón (9,50). Thinking we could share a larger meat dish and smaller salad together. What arrived was a small plate with a couple of slices of jamón. About the same amount I bought in the carrefour this morning to put on my sandwich. Keep in mind this was 1/2 portion. The full portion would cost you 17,50 (such discount). Luckily I was able to rinse the taste with a bite of russian salad before it was finished. A picture of the luxurious jamón is included. I would definitely consider going again to eat the complementary soup sticks

=> Owner physically attacked client <= Worst place ever! After an incompetent waiter poured hot chocolate over a female client, he was not able to procure a cloth or anything to clean for the lady. Instead another client had to organise something. When that male client returned from the bar and wanted to go back to the suffering female client, the owner of the store physically attacked the male client. The victim asked the attacker to identify himself, but he didn't. Only later it became clear that the attacker was the owner of that store. Really bad.
