One of the best BJ’s locations I’ve been to! Service is always great and the food is consistently fresh and delicious! I’ve been here 3 times for dinner service and it’s always been a pleasant experience. Food comes out at a reasonable rate and our waiters have always been attentive. My favorite dishes are the spinach dip for appetizer and their BJ’s favorite pizza for main dish with their chocolate chip pizookie to finish off the meal!
Expansive menu to go along with the interior. Enjoy the host of tvs that surround the restaurant. Friendly service from staff. Presentation definitely not overlooked on everything they plate. Wide selection of beers and mixed drinks as well. Don’t forget the Pizookies.
Stopped by for a late afternoon lunch. Overall, the experience was great and the servers were friendly. Got the new strawberry fields salad and loved it. Though next time I would personally ask for less dressing. The salad felt drenched to me and the lettuce was kind of soggy by the time it got to the table. The avocado egg rolls were very good as well. Loved the crisp to them. My favorites were the spicy mango margarita and the deep dish pizza. I'm not big on sweet drinks but the mango margarita with the fresh jalapeños was so good I had to order a second one. I'm definitely coming back for more deep dish pizza. The dough is so fluffy and the outside is crisp - it was perfect.
Great food. Something different. Their pizookie is a warm gooey cookie topped with ice cream and whatever other toppings that come with the option you pick. It was so good! We were not going to get one but it came with the prime rib deal. We were so full when we got it and didn’t think we could even eat it. But then we tried one bite and couldn’t stop. I think I might go back today just for another one. Lol!
my first time and i WILL be back. the food was great and they had good deals. Jacob was AMAZING and served our large party very well with a fantastic attitude. he knew the menu extremely well and offered everyone at my table dessert. 10/10 service 10/10 food 10/10 dessert
The food was very well seasoned even though my steak was a little over in temperature I asked for medium but the Pazooki was everything
Loved it! This was our first time in. Miranda was our server and told us all about the menu, and the rewards program! I had the chicken parm and my husband ordered a salad with steak - it was not on the menu but Miranda helped him customize it. We also got some he clam chowder bread bowl for appetizerr! She was so great!!!!
Jacob was the best server ever!!! He was so kind and was so knowledgeable about the menu. I was with a party of 8 and he served us so well and was attentive. Food was great and highly recommended dessert.
Great Bar and Restaurant! If you like Beer you can’t go wrong here since they have an excellent large selection on tap! You can’t go wrong when ordering Food since the Menu has abundance of delicious options! I personally recommend the Blackened Salmon on a bed of spinach, fried Brussels sprouts, grapes and fresh blue berries. Delicious!
Went there today, Saturday, for lunch with my wife. This was our first visit. The service was probably the best service we have had in quite some time. In addition, the food was hot and delicious as well as a lot of food for the money.
I like the amount of healthy options there are here. This pork chop was super delicious and my bae was hooked on the horseradish with the prime rib. We were a little disappointed in the pizookie this time, but it's usually good. It was thinner than I remember. Can't lower the rating just for one dessert though. The food was great.
Excellent food and their beer is superb! Their imperial stout is better than Guinness. They offer a 4 glass flight to sample their beers. The siracha brussel sprouts were a unique and delicious app. Their root beer ribs are unique in flavor and fall off the bone tender. Our server was very friendly and attentive, even though she was working a lot of tables. The pizookie desserts were amazing.
Omgosh!!! I love BJ's Brewhouse. I love their deep dish buffalo chicken pizza and their dessert. Just take a look. I dont need to say anymore. Yes it tasted as good as it looks. Shout out to our server, Ethan. Thank you for taking care of us. PS please come to Memphis, I promise if you build, we will come.
Only stopped for a beer on this trip. Ant was our server at the bar. Can I just say she is exceptional! Friendly, outgoing, personable and attentive to your needs. Cheers to Ant for making our stop a delightful experience.
Very sanitary. Great social distance seating chart. The spicy bloody Mary was not spicy, but it was good. Bison burger was great!! Toss the roasted Brussels in the sauce, it needs it! Or try another sauce that had more of a bite? Over all, great food. Thank you!!
Food was good and on time, and the atmosphere was nice. Our waiter was good, courteous, and punctual. He seemed knowledgeable about the beer selection and had recommendations, along with offering tasting options.
Love this place. The food is delicious and the staff is attentive and kind. The only thing that sometimes bothers me is the strong synthetic fragrance that seems to linger in the doorway. Not sure if it is cleaner or perfume, but it is pretty strong.
Hope was our server and she did was absolutely amazing, she was so nice. She was very patient when I asked about food allergies, and made our dinner a fantastic experience.
Jacob was an amazing server, I was here with a party of 8 and he was extremely attentive. Snd he was very knowledgeable about the menu, he recommended the monkey bread pizookie and it was great. Highly recommend him as a server.
Our server Jacob was the absolute best! He was such a sweetheart. Gave me and sister the BEST experience!! Keep up the great work Jacob!!
BJ’s absolutely delivered tonight. The wings were next level. I tried the barbecue and lemon pepper, and both were packed with flavor. The barbecue wings were perfectly coated in a smoky, slightly sweet sauce that had just the right amount of tang, while the lemon pepper wings were crispy, zesty, and bold without being overpowering. Every bite had that fresh, straight out of the kitchen heat that makes wings unforgettable. And the Bazooki stole the show. Warm, gooey, and baked to perfection, it had that perfect contrast between a soft center and lightly crisp edges. Paired with the cold scoop of ice cream melting over the top, it was the kind of dessert that makes you slow down and savor every bite. The portion was generous, the presentation was inviting, and the flavor was rich without feeling too heavy. Between the standout wings and the iconic Bazooki, this meal felt like the perfect mix of comfort and indulgence. Great food, great flavors, and an experience that definitely lives up to the hype. I will be thinking about that dessert for a while.
My daughter wanted to go here for the famous Pizookie... we have never been. We got there almost a soon as they opened. We were seated and our server Sarah showed up very quickly! She was amazing the entire time! We got the sampler and the artichoke dip and wings were outstanding! She has a burger and I got the ribeye! Both were great! Based on Sarah's recommendation- we needed something to bring home for later and the pizza she suggested was awesome! We were impressed not only with the food and service but also that the manager (I assume he was anyway!) Stopped my to check on us. When we got there, I think there was maybe 2 other tables... by the time we left they definitely were getting the lunch rush- and we never felt like we were being a bother.. we still got fresh drinks and boxes while waiting for the pizza! Cant wait to go back!
I had the pleasure of being served by Savannah during my first visit to BJ’s! She helped me choose so great things to eat! She was extremely helpful and nice to have. I would keep coming back just to have her recommend new things! 💙
Our server Hope was amazing. She was energetic and entertaining. The food was amazing. We had two appetizers and multiple entrees, all came out hot and fresh. Truly thankful for Hope and making my son’s birthday experience memorable.
Jacob was the best server! He kept our drinks full and I was with a party of 8. I got the Mediterranean Chicken bowl it was so fresh. Then after my healthy meal of course got a pazookie (Pizza COOKIE)!!! DESSERT IS A MUST! Will be coming back.
Nice busy place.Somewhat loud but manageable .Expect a wait at peak hours.Bar service was very good. Food was ok.Pizza was tasty and so were nachos abd cheese balls .Originally tried the sliders and they were totally disappointing. They were dry and flavorless. They say served with grilled onions but that is in the meat. Drink specials were good Plenty of parking
Firstly, I appreciate that on a very busy Saturday night, the wait time was only 15 minutes! There was hardly any parking and many people waiting, but they got us in quickly. Secondly, our waitress Aimee was awesome! She was handling so many tables, but completely kept on top of refilling our water and getting us anything we needed. My mom’s chicken was AMAZING!! I will go back just to eat that! The chicken had this lemon butter sauce that was TO DIE FOR! Her asparagus and mashed potatoes were amazing too! My California BLT was just okay. I definitely wouldn’t order it again. The nearly raw bacon threw me off. (See photo) I didn’t end up eating half of my sandwich which is a shame because it was $21 for the sandwich with the upgraded onion rings. It was just super overpriced for what you get. I hadn’t been here in years and was pretty shocked to see that the menu prices had skyrocketed much more than any of the other restaurants I frequent. Lastly, the pizookies are as amazing as always. They are SO good and there are many flavor options!
It’s been quite a while since we dined here — not living nor visiting Murfreesboro very often is to blame I guess. I wish we had one in Spring Hill or Franklin! Very extensive menu with craft beers. I loved my Tavern Style pizza — much like a loaded flatbread. The soup served in a giant loaf of homemade bread was very good. My wife loved her salad. We also enjoyed the trio cheese dip as an appetizer. Server was pleasant and attentive. We dined on a mid afternoon Saturday between the lunch and dinner crowds and were seated immediately. Located on very busy Medical Parkway near the large outdoor shopping complex — The Avenue.
This was our first visit to BJ's brewhouse, and the service was excellent and the food is great. We were definitely satisfied with the food, service, and the atmosphere here. I also like that the restroom was clean. Before we left I ordered the strawberry shortcake pizookie, and OMG this dessert is the bomb. 💣
Ordered take out so the food looked pretty bad but was tasty. The chicken soba noodles have a very flavorful sauce. The chicken was a bit dry but the peanut creaminess makes up for it!
The food here is absolutely delicious The service is also good and the employees are incredibly nice :) I have 1 complaint...we had a reservation and still waited 45 minutes, that's unacceptable. Just say there are no reservations at that time instead of making 11 people with a reservation wait that long. Other than that everything was great.
Edit: I went back, lunchtime, and sat myself at the bar...... then sat there for a bit until a floor server came behind the bar to take my order. I got a flight and chicken Parmesan and ate the entire meal and drank my flight and saw the bartender once. I was never asked if I wanted another beer or anything at all. I updated my review to a three star. I'll most likely never come back. Food was good but service is for sure, lacking. I really wanted to like this place. 12/13/25 Went in to have lunch. Greeted promptly, sat away from the crowd and then..... ignored. I watched two tables get seated and served while I sat there in a big, beautiful dining area. Tons of beers on tap. I might have ordered one with lunch if I was able to order said lunch. I get an hour for lunch and, when 15 minutes passed, I left and went somewhere else to eat. Here's the Breakdown: Single customers who are eating alone look elsewhere. You're not wanted. If I could give zero stars I would. I, for sure, will not go back.
I visited BJ’s when they first opened here and never went back…I just wasn’t impressed. I was really craving a Wedge Salad and a friend said they serve one so I decided to try them again. My server Kayla got me set up with a Hefe while I checked things out. Decent Happy Hour here with $5 pints and $7 appetizers. I ordered the Chicken Pot Stickers and the Steakhouse Wedge…I would rate the dining experience to be “average”. The Pot Stickers were OK but the rice sticks they piled on top were annoying {hard to eat} and removing them is a pain. The slaw was a nice feature and had a good flavor while the ginger sauce didn’t have much flavor. The Wedge was a weak imitation…the lettuce was crisp and fresh but the tomatoes were diced small, purple onions shaved thin, and the bacon had little flavor. There was minimal Blue Cheese chunks and the dressing was weak. The steak was tender and cooked medium, but the chimichurri flavors clashed with the wedge flavors. Overall…solid service, cold beer, but the food was just average.
Love BJs. However, apparently you do not get the same quality/quantity, if you order delivery. While the wings and burger were very good, the salad, soup (bowl), and fries lacked. The salad looked like a small side salad, the "bowl" of soup was half a cup, and the fry containers were just partially full. The food is not cheap and if we had eaten at the restaurant, the quantity would have been more. Not sure if the staff was just busy and or if there is a difference between eat in and eat out. Was a bit disappointed in this.
The food was good (steak) but a bit over seasoned. The same goes for the fries. However the beer was great and the tomato & mozzarella salad was amazing! Service was pretty slow but I think the guy was new. Overall not to bad, but there are many other places I would try next time.
Overall I give this visit 3 stars. Beer was great, wide selection, very good. The Pazookies were very good. We got 2 free ones by signing up online and the trio sampler. The food though was mediocre at best. They were out of a lot of things. The apps were cold. The burger was good, fries were good. Pizza was ok. Wings were boneless, but basic. I'd come back for beer, that's about it. If they had their full menu I'd come back to try some of the other entrees.
The fam and I came for Sunday brunch and unfortunately, I'm not that impressed. Gabriella, our waitress, was really nice, and she did her best to make our experience pleasant; however, an order of fries was forgotten until the end of the meal, an entree and the sides had to be sent back because they were cold, and ALL the glasses were watermarked, but two of them were just plain dirty. Nevertheless, I did enjoy the gluten-free chocolate cookie dessert, lavender lemonade, and the peppered BBQ chicken thighs--hence the extra star.
Went for lunch, had a coupon for a free lunch. Took about 2 minutes to get seated, as the host was very slow moving. As I presented my coupon and placed my order, I requested the waiter make sure I could get a receipt that would still allow me to give a tip, as I didn't expect to NOT tip. I advised I didn't have cash, but wanted to tip just like I would with a regular tab. Once the waiter realized the manager would not give a receipt that allowed a tip, the waiter only brought my food to me. Never checked on me again. Not even a water refill, or ask if the food was good. The food itself was good, I had blackened shrimp tacos. Plenty of shrimp and the taste was flavorful. I just wish the rest of the visit would have been great.
Our food was cold I wasn’t impressed with the taste at all. The only thing that was good was the macaroni bites. We had a party of 6 we barely seen our waitress had to flag someone down to get refills. I read reviews is why we chose this place. Never again spent good money for poorly quality food and service.
My wife and out friends went here yesterday for Valentine’s Day. I got the prime rib which was not good at all. I tasted it and my wife was like what’s wrong I said it taste awful. Our friend got the tip with the sauce on it and she asked for medium well and it was pink as pink could be. She couldn’t even eat it. We all wanted to try a new place and it did us in, we will not be going back.
Dined at BJs this evening and was looking forward to the ahi tuna salad, but was honestly quite disappointed with their tuna portion and appearance. It was not juicy, thick and pink like portrayed in the picture, but instead was thinly sliced and a much smaller portion than advertised. I honestly would’ve been embarrassed to serve that if I was an employee there. We expressed our concern to the waiter and even questioned the amount of oz, but ultimately ended up ordering another side of tuna for $7 due to the skimpy amount they gave. After we paid our bill, I overheard at the booth next to us the manager come over and apologize to the woman about the tuna salad and said she comp’d the meal!!!! I looked at my spouse in shock bc here we were expressing the same dissatisfaction and yet couldn’t even get comp’d the $7 additional we paid for ours. Poor customer service on our end. I must add though that everything else was delicious. We had the Korean ribs as appetizer, my spouse had the Mediterranean tacos, and aside from the tuna, my salad was overall very tasty with great flavor!!
The waiter/bartender we had was wonderful, we got our drinks quick and they were WONDERFUL!! the music was top tier!! but we sat down around 7pm and got our food at around 8-8:15pm, the waitresses/waiters were standing around and on their phones. As someone who has worked at a restaurant i understand there could be a wait for the food but we would love to know about it ahead of time, and the other workers could have helped each other out if they knew others were busy helping a table or making drinks for other customers. They were not busy at all so i don’t understand why it was taking so long for our food to come out and when our food came out it looked like it was sitting back there for a while.
Updating to 2 stars down from 3 after another disappointment. The pizza here is horrible. Barely any pepperoni, to say the picture they use is false advertising is an understatement. Ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch Piadina to go. NO WHERE in the description does it say it contains onions, much less be riddled with them. Literally all I could taste. Beware the descriptions don't match the ingredients. Also, it was supposed to come with fries which of course were left out of the order.
I have been to quite a few BJ's in Texas. I don't understand why this BJ is is struggling so much. I just drove through town during football and every restaurant is plum full but BJ's it's totally empty. I believe part of it is you have no specials on beer you don't have domestic on tap and you have way too many other beers that nobody will drink. Also I don't mean to be rude but most your workers are emu style employees who can't understand service summer very nice but for the most part they think somebody owes them something I would really like to see this place stay in business but unless something drastically changes quick I see this business closing in Murfreesboro within the next couple of months. And that is very sad!
2 stars only because the beer is decent....not the service though. Was traveling through, hungry and needing a good restful meal. Food was cold, ordered beer forgotten, there for 70 minutes, server blamed the kitchen and bar for his inadequacies. Got a 10% discount for our troubles. Overall terrible experience. We wondered why they weren't very busy.....
We recently visited BJ’s Brewhouse in Murfreesboro with a party of 10. Beforehand, someone in our group was told there’d be no need for reservations—thankfully, I went ahead and made one anyway. That turned out to be a smart move, because we would’ve had a very different experience without it. The restaurant itself was clean and the ambiance was fine—nothing particularly memorable, but comfortable enough. Unfortunately, the service and overall dining experience left a lot to be desired. We waited quite a while before placing our orders, only to find out that one of the restaurant’s top menu items had run out. While that in itself isn’t a big issue, our server failed to mention this ahead of time, which would’ve saved time and hassle. For a party of 10, our orders were straightforward: everyone on separate tickets, one vegan guest, and one with a gluten allergy—both of whom knew exactly what they wanted. Still, the process was sluggish and disorganized. Once the food arrived, several items were missing. We had to repeatedly ask for basics like condiments and drink refills. At one point, my sister was handed an empty A1 bottle and told, “I just shook it up,” which was both frustrating and dismissive. The food came out cold, and when we asked for it to be re-cooked, we waited nearly another hour. Our server was largely absent during this time, and when the manager finally came over, she asked what I wanted them to do to make it right. I really would’ve appreciated a proactive suggestion instead of being asked to come up with the solution myself. At that point, it felt like the entire table needed their food remade, and the gesture of comping a single dessert—a “world famous” cookie—just didn’t make up for everything that had gone wrong. Not to mention, the soap was out in the bathroom—and we saw servers going in and out of there. That made us wonder whether proper handwashing protocols were even being followed, which is a serious concern. I understand restaurants have off days and that large groups can be challenging, but this experience made it clear that BJ’s is struggling to deliver basic service. While I appreciate the clean space and the attempt to make things right, this isn’t a place I’ll be returning to.
Usually I love my experience here but today was absolutely horrible! The manager on duty on Thursday, February 1, 2024 was not helpful and didn’t want to be helpful. I received my salad (the only thing I eat from here) and as you can see the lettuce is old and they didn’t give me the regular amount. When I called the restaurant the first time I was told only Door Dash could handle my complaint. I called Door Dash and they literally called the store and put me back on the line with the same person who said they couldn’t help me. I can see that if you order food to have delivered they won’t give you the fresh food they pride themselves on. You have to eat the food they need to toss out but don’t want to lose the money for.
Food was cold. Service was forgetful and never brought drinks, then blamed it on the kitchen and the bar. Multiple periods of long waiting. Got a roughly $6 discount to make up for it. Left feeling worse than when we came in.
2 host up front. One didn't even acknowledge us the one who did seat us didn't really speak seemed like he was in a bad mood but whatever. Just 2 of us, waited 20 minutes no server no acknowledgment no nothing. Table next to us got seated probably 10 minutes after us got greeted not even a minute after being seated got their drinks and ordered their food before a server even acknowledged us. Waited a few more minutes then left. 20 minutes no service 🤷♂️
