They are always fast and friendly and my sandwich is always made just right! I've also ordered catering style boxes from them for my team at work, and everyone enjoyed!
I've only eaten here once but I'll be sure to go again, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They didn't pressure me into ordering and their sandwich was better than anything I've ever had at Subway.
Good sized subs, loaded with meat, I first walked in and kinda thought to myself "hmm I don't know about this" Then I was greeted, and was even more worried.... they seemed a little awkward, but after I got my sub, and found out that a sub with a meal deal was the price of A REGULAR SUB at subway?! oh man, that little bit of awkwardness was a thing of the past, they are friendly, just seem a little uncomfortable, overall, this place is amazing, I love the setup inside, and the sandwich was amazing! I got the Italian to compare to the Italian at subway, there's no comparison firehouse wins hands down, I just went there yesterday to check it out, now, we're going back tonight for dinner, Value, Quality, Quantity.
The sandwich was great! The service was okay but it was disappointing when I my wife told the cashier/order taker that all I wanted was water and all he gave us was this little stubby little cup. I think that's wrong to only have a small little cup for customers that just want water with their meal. They really need to correct that mistake! Other than that everything else was fine. It was clean (including the bathroom) and the food was very good.
Most fast food and sandwich places are pretty much the same. Not this particular place. Not the Firehouse Subs in Murphy. I love the very meaty and packed fresh veggies and delicious sauce from Firehouse. That’s solid. But this place is fast, never misses, it’s clean, it’s friendly, and it is SERVICE driven. The Manager, Carlos, is incredible. He sets the tone for employees, new and experienced. He’s always going full speed. Always stops to ask if he can help you. And he takes a lot of pride at being good. Very good. I don’t know that I’ve ever remembered the name of a sandwich shop or fast food manager. I remember Carlos. And he remembers me and my wife’s sandwiches and little unique things we like on them. The new App doesn’t allow me to customize some things. But I order thru it, get there, pick it up and ask if I can make a modification. Now he just smiles and says it’s already done. Said he remembered and smiles and goes right back to work. Making a sandwich or perfecting a gorgeous salad. He just goes to work. His employees see him. They reflect the same attitude. I’m so impressed I had to write about it. Good job Firehouse. You hired and have kept a good one. Someone who represents your brand. Hope you can keep him. He’d be successful anywhere. But we love your salads and sandwiches. So don’t let him go! 😊
Great sandwiches. Very consistent service and products. A good balance of meat, veggies and bread. I'm always greeted with a smile. The restaurant is always clean with TV's showing the latest news or sports. The food remains consistent.
Love the subs here, definitely one of my favorite. The meat is tender, and flavorful! also have adequate amount of meat in the sandwiches which is the best part, most places I've been to barely put any meat seems like you're only eating bread and lettuce.
Not sure if this location in Murphy is under new ownership now, but I had an awesome experience here today. I have ordered subs to go several times in the past and the staff was always a bit slow and never very welcoming, but today was a complete opposite experience. I ordered 3 sandwiches and they were ready super fast and the customer service was amazing compared to my last visit. Friendly and fast, I will now be visiting this place a lot more often!
I believe this location came under new owners or management a few months ago. We pick up for lunch often and have noticed a difference in service and quality for the better. Such a difference in friendliness in staff too. Cliff is a great manager! He's always been awesome and always remembers us too.
Always good food and great customer service! Christian is extremely helpful, nice, and friendly. He always makes sure our sandwiches are good and goes the extra mile! :)
If I could give more stars I would! It was my very first time going to any firehouse and now that I’ve had my sandwich I don’t understand why I haven’t been sooner! The nice lady who checked me out (I’m assuming the manager.) was very sweet and took her time, explained to me what fully involved meant, showed me the difference sizes of subs, explained the drink upsizes and asked if I wanted it to be a combo. She then explained to me about the spare change or donating to the first responders. The employees were entergetic and very nice and made you feel welcomed. As a daughter of a police officer of 15 years I love what this restaurant is centered around! I’ll definitely be going back!
If you love subs, Firehouse knows what they are doing. I go in all the time and they are always genuine and nice. I've never had a wrong order and I've always been satisfied with the taste of any sub I eat.

Had a craving for a sub from here. Just out of hospital with really bad superflu . Nothing at home has tasted good or even the same all week . Ordered online for pick up, a Roast Beef Dip /86 onions and garlic dip sub sliced tomatoes . My neighbor got it for me and I took everything out of bag and intended to take one bite just to sample it then feed the dog /take him out. OMG 😳 ❣️Ended up standing at the stove and ate almost half of it before I realized I better stop and do other stuff before I absorbed the whole sandwich in 2 mins. Aside from easily scraped off little bit of char inside bread it was absolutely The BEST friggin sandwich I’ve had in years❣️ Nice partly rare tasty fresh roast beef , excellent soft bread. , cheese and oregano was there even though I couldn’t really taste it -my numb sick taste buds I think 🤔. I’ve been to this location twice before and they’ve always been so nice and patient with my old slow self. I will be back - Highly Recommend
This place in my opinion is better than subway, my husband & me had lunch here today & got the engineer sandwich absolutely delicious!! Everyone is super sweet! recommend to anyone to try this place out.. we will for sure be back☺️

I want to give the place 5 stars because I normally really love the food, but I didn’t receive my mobile order last time as expected. I then called in to get a new order going, but they sent out the old 2hr old order (which wasn’t great tasting by that point and time).

Not the same as other, busier locations. I ordered the bbq brisket and it came out cold-ish and had too much bbq sauce. I've had this exact sub several times and it's always come out perfectly proportionate.
Food made as expected, but I had rewards in my app which they were not able to redeem or not sure how they can help me to redeem my points for free sub. it happened twice so not going this location again as they can not help me I’m regular user at work and always have rewards under my account.
The beer cheesesteak sub was very tasty. Pretty skimpy on the meat though. Service @ this location is very good and having the super special soda fountain is always a treat. This location has great parking as well

Great food and friendly enough people, but the service is UNBELIEVABLY slow. Took them about 20 minutes to make two sandwiches that I ordered, and I did it on the app before I left the house. Come on guys speed it up Jersey Mike's does it in 5 minutes.

Less to do with this particular franchise and more to do as a whole. $20 for a large sandwich, bag of chips and medium beverage isn't ideal. Go add a tip on top of that? I guess it's because of the pickle that's sloppily placed on top of the sandwich leaking pickle juice onto your sandwich. Large meatball is bland. No flavor, provolone adds nothing, meatballs are cheaper than frozen ones you can buy at the store. Italian seasoning is almost non-existent. Was almost given the wrong sandwich cuz it got mixed up with another customer. Don't understand how every single sandwich by default comes with mayo? Better make sure you don't order "the way it comes". Have tried multiple times. Just not for me. Save money, get a better sandwich and go to Subway or Jersey Mike's.
Things have changed at thus Firehouse for us. It used to be one of our favorite places to eat. My husband and I would eat there frequently. The last few times, we have been disappointed. We kept going back hoping the person that was there for a long time would be there, but, he was not. This person took pride in the establishment, the food and all of us coming there. We were always greeted by him with a smile and he even knew our names! The atmosphere was a welcoming one. Now, everything is the opposite. Hopefully, owner/manager/person in charge will care enough to seriously bring Firehouse to the way it use to be with excellent service, excellent food, and a welcoming, feel good atmosphere!
Food was cold but the prices are high 🤯 I will never come back again. This is ridiculous. I know prices increased but this was too much.
Ordered online, they could not read the directions and put jalapenos on my wife's sandwich, and gave her a pickle. Receipt clearly shows jalapenos on the white bread and NO pickle on the wheat. I’ve been to Firehouse Subs plenty of times, but this visit was by far the worst — all because of one employee. Riley clearly needs to learn how to have a better attitude. From the moment I walked in, he was dismissive, unprofessional, and made it feel like I was a burden just for being there. His behavior singlehandedly made my experience completely unsatisfactory. Honestly, removing him from the front of house staff would be a massive improvement for this location. Customer service should never feel like an afterthought.
I enjoy coming here because the sandwiches are always good. However, I firmly feel that customer service is lacking. I come once every 2 weeks. Every visit we are welcomed as we come in and that's about it, other than what would you like. The employees always seem as though they are being bothered by us being here. Tonight my husband and I walked in @ 8:00 PM. All of the chairs were already stacked on top of the tables and the smell of cleaning chemicals were very strong. I hope that customer service skills can be worked on.
I have been coming to this Firehouse basically since they opened. I have had no problems until the last few times when they have gotten my order wrong. Now I have let it go the first three times but then the last time when they got it wrong I made a comment and the manager called me and offered to remake my order or offer a refund, I went with the refund option. At the time the manager(Carlos) mentioned it should show in my account in about 30 minutes which was perfectly okay I was just happy they were very responsive and helpful so I went about my way. Three days later no refund in my account so I called to just let them know and was told to come back in store and try again so I came back the next day and re-tried the refund, 9 days later still no refund so I went back and complained and say okay I still haven’t received my refund he said give it one more week it could just be taking awhile so I waited and waited and got nothing. I returned to the store today 3/14 and instead of a refund I asked if they could remake my order and the employee told me that was not possible “ He wasn’t allowed to re-make orders “ I asked to speak to the manager and they said there wasn’t one working so I asked if they could call and get permission. They come back and said ya he didn’t answer so I called the corporate representative and spoke to them in the store as the employee was being disrespectful and very rude about everything. The representative asked to speak to the employee on the phone and he walked away from her and didn’t answer any of the questions she was asking. Finally another employee comes out and remakes my order and at the end said I was no longer welcomed because I called corporate. Got home opened my sandwich and my hookin Ladder was burnt and looks as someone just poured some kind of juice on it so you couldn’t see the burnt because I picked it up and it leaked and felt like a sponge and could smell the burnt bread. This is the worst experience I have had with a restaurant and their solution to a wrong order is telling them they’re not welcomed back.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! from Jerry(or at least thats what he told me his name was since lack of name tag). No greeting, was bothered to take order, asked a question about a sandwich since its my first time ordering without my husband and got a sarcastic answer. Its not the customers fault if this guy does not like working here. He should not be the cashier if he hates taking orders, maybe clean up crew? The guy and girl making the sandwiches seemed to have a better mood.
First time I tried this subs. Not impressed at all. Actually, I'd prefer Subway a million times more due to the price and options. Overpriced sandwiches (almost $40 for a medium and a large combo sandwich, no way). I can do it myself at home or if out and about, will definitely go to Subway.
We stop in frequently and have always loved the food. Tonight, I ordered an Engineer, without mayo and onions, and was extremely disappointed. It did not have any cheese, it had about 5 mushrooms, and the mustard dressing was left off. What it did have, was a pound of lettuce. It tasted dry and awful. My husband ordered a turkey, bacon ranch. It also had a pound of lettuce and a half piece of bacon. Neither sandwich was cut all the way through and difficult to pick up. We hope this was a one time fluke. If it happens again, we will not be back.
My first time going in there, they made the whole order wrong, i was in hurry so I’m going to waste my time to make a another one. They even refused to make a new one. I asked for refund and the OWNER refused to give my money back “I’m losing money” I’m sorry but you made my whole order wrong. I threw everything away and wasted $6.00 never going back and I’m telling all my friends not go to this place. I would rather go to subway that is right Across the street. This is very disappointing. This is why you guys are not making that much business. The owner always be outside on the road to make people come. This place needs to be shut down.
Like I said I was just very disappointed in the sandwiches and the service I just was in shock at the difference in the two different Firehouse subs. I really almost thought it was a joke when we got all the way home and looked at her sandwiches and there was literally one thin slice of meat on mine and my sister's had like one little glob of me on one end of hers and that was it so if you do go there to eat make sure you look at your sandwiches before you leave there with them because we lived on the other side of Wylie and by the time I would have gotten back it would have been closed so I couldn't do anything about it. I hate giving bad reviews but I hate getting terrible service also.
I've been here tons of times and the food is always amazing but today my bread was burnt and the half the sandwich didn't have meat. BUT I will go back because 99% of the time it is good. Update: I tried it again and I won't be going back. They forgot the mayo and ranch and my bacon was so undercooked I was afraid to eat the sandwich. I don't know if they actually use real bacon or the stuff you don't need to refrigerate but I wasn't taking the chance. I now go to the firewheel location. Also there is an employee who I'm assuming is a supervisor or manager that is horrible to the other employees.
Got in line behind an employee who was ordering. He and the girl were so busy flirting that in the middle of my order he stepped back in front of me to whisper to her?! Oh not surprisingly my order was wrong anyway Young love is great but control yourself.

Now I have let it go the first three times but then the last time when they got it wrong I made a comment and the manager called me and offered to remake my order or offer a refund, I went with the refund option. At the time the manager(Carlos) mentioned it should show in my account in about 30 minutes which was perfectly okay I was just happy they were very responsive and helpful so I went about my way. Three days later no refund in my account so I called to just let them know and was told to come back in store and try again so I came back the next day and re-tried the refund, 9 days later still no refund so I went back and complained and say okay I still haven’t received my refund he said give it one more week it could just be taking awhile so I waited and waited and got nothing. I returned to the store today 3/14 and instead of a refund I asked if they could remake my order and the employee told me that was not possible “ He wasn’t allowed to re-make orders “ I asked to speak to the manager and they said there wasn’t one working so I asked if they could call and get permission. They come back and said ya he didn’t answer so I called the corporate representative and spoke to them in the store as the employee was being disrespectful and very rude about everything. The representative asked to speak to the employee on the phone and he walked away from her and didn’t answer any of the questions she was asking. Finally another employee comes out and remakes my order and at the end said I was no longer welcomed because I called corporate. Got home opened my sandwich and my hookin Ladder was burnt and looks as someone just poured some kind of juice on it so you couldn’t see the burnt because I picked it up and it leaked and felt like a sponge and could smell the burnt bread. This is the worst experience I have had with a restaurant and their solution to a wrong order is telling them they’re not welcomed back.
