A gorgeous French wine bar in an unassuming location. The ambiance is top notch, the wine selection is like no other, and the service is perfect. Warm and cozy, The Authentique is perfect for date nights, girls outings and solo adventures alike. I’ll be a regular and recommend for all of the above!

Wow! This beautiful couple from the Champange region/Paris opened an incredible French wine bar. Everything is perfection. The gorgeous live jazz music (bass and classical guitar) just puts you in the perfect mood. The gentleman owner will talk endlessly about the wines on the wine list he created. Don't be fooled by his American accent, he is French through and through and knows his wines.

a dreamy wine bar in East. the service was phenomenal- the bar tender was knowledgeable and educational about every wine on the menu and was so kind answering all our questions. we got the wine flight which was SO fun and tasty. we went on a Thursday night & they had live music (just 2 piece band, lightly strumming in the background)- it felt like we were on the streets of France (except we were on Gallatin Pike!!) we already are planning our next time back to try the food!

This is such a cute little place. We really enjoyed a post work happy hour glass of wine. The prices are fair for drinks in Nashville. I would visit The Authentique with girl friends or for a pre dinner drink. We had a cheese board and macarons. The cheese was great but the macarons were still a little frozen. Our server was awesome and very knowledgeable about wine which I love!

I have never been to a place that has such care and mindfulness. They make sure every dish is made to perfection and you can tell how authentic it is ( lives up to its name). Our server was a actaully from France and talked to us a little bit about her experince and care for this restaurant and food. All I got was the charcuterie board but that was the best charcuterie board I have had in my life. A blend of fresh cheeses and cured meats with a great selection of sides. I cant recommend this place enough, Service 10/10, atmosphere ( had some live music that was great background music) 10/10, food 10/10 (from what we tried. An absolute gem in east nashville. Overall score: 4.8/5

Melvil has managed to transport France to middle TN in several establishments and this one is no exception. Wonderful wine list, proper cheese plate, and just spot on vibe. I love everything about this place and the folks that work here. Can't miss whether you are visiting or a local.

I’ve Been coming here for few months now. Very Relax, cozy and European feeling like environment. Nothing beats a nice bottle of wine and Charcuterie and Chessboard. Nice selection of flights for everyone. Aleks is so knowledgeable and passionate about his menu and is always willing to answer questions left and right! Glad to have a place like this in Nashville!

Amazing, would highly recommend! Such a fun, cozy, European atmosphere. For desserts, ordered the lava cake and creme Brule. Both outstanding, and the lave cake was the best I've ever had.

This place is incredible. A must visit whether you live or are visiting Nashville. Wonderfully unique and a great way to try awesome French wines. The cheese plate was the perfect compliment to our wine flights. Great atmosphere and the owners are so inviting and friendly. Make sure you go try it!!!

We absolutely adored our visit to The Authentique. The sparkling rose was great and we really enjoyed sharing the cheese and charcuterie board between our party of 4. Alex was beyond kind and attentive and helped us celebrate our occasion. We will definitely be back!!

Wonderfuly intimate French restaurant with amazing food, great atmosphere, and great wine. Steak tartar was sublime, Fois Gras was the best I've ever had, it was all excellent.

When you’ve been to France multiple times, you are skeptical of places like this in the states. Happy to report it is French owned and the staff is very knowledgeable of their wines and pairings. We enjoyed a white + red glass as well as the delicious dulce de leche. Will be back for more! Went on a Saturday night and it was at capacity. We waited around 10 minutes before being seated and our whole dining experience was about 20 minutes. It was delightful!

how have I never reviewed this place before when it is my absolute favorite spot in nashville? there is everything to love about the authentique, including the owners, and if I could go there every day I would. best wine, best vibe, tastiest crepes.

Had so much fun celebrating my best friends birthday! All the food was fresh and the owner talked to us and gave us a free small plate because their crepes were not working the night we visited. Steak tartare and croque monsier are a must!

Wow - talk about a business owner who knows his stuff and how to serve! Alex is the best of the best. I’m not even a wine lover, as much as the main clientele but holy cow did he make me want to be! He was equally informative, entertaining, and passionate about French wine. Can’t speak to the food but it smelled amazing! Will be back and if anyone has a knack or desire to learn about French wine this is your spot. Look no further!

Love, love, love this place my favorite find in Nash - incredible wine and champagne. The boards are unbelievable cheeses, olives, pickles, honey, meats - and the deserts are delicious. Not to mention the owners are engaging and inviting.

Wow! What a fun night! We stumbled upon this little bar while looking for a vibe-y spot to sip some wine and chat. They had a new person training which can always be bumpy but he did great! There was apparently a limited menu running but our little share snacks hit the spot perfectly. Rachel ensured our experience was top notch from start to finish! Cannot recommend this bar more!

Have been here a couple of times now and it is just absolutely a fabulous time. The wine is stunningly delicious and the cheese board will leave you dreaming and craving for it for months after. The owners along with the staff are passionate, kind and happy to make your night feel special. Highly recommend! Best date night spot in Nashville.

Such a gem run by a lovely young couple and their friendly and knowledgeable staff. A great wine list and it was a joy to be served a glass of Pinot Noir at the correct temperature! I usually do not order reds when out because most places serve them warm (the room temp). These folks know their wines and how to best present and maintain them. Great bar food menu and not a chicken wing or potato skin amongst it! We will definitely be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Italian Wine tasting presented by Brock. And the selection of wines and other drinks by the glass is a fantastic experience. Also, don’t sleep on the Tartare - lovingly prepared, perfectly tart and seasoned, accompanied by crispy toast points (and you need the butter). We’ll be back!

I’ve been coming here nearly every week for the past two months, usually on Wednesdays, for their half crepes. They are absolutely delicious. The service is great—we asked if they could put the fruit inside, and they were more than happy to accommodate our request. I also love that they don’t pressure us to drink alcohol, unlike other wine bars, since we come here primarily for the dessert crepes and rarely drink.

This place is such a hidden gem that keeps on giving. I hate I didn't get the name of the blonde gentleman owner/manager (?) who is beyond knowledgeable and speaks French or the wonderful brunette server, but thank you to both of you for an unforgettable experience. It was everything we hoped for and more having come from three hours away and choosing The Authentique as our one dining experience. The decor...cocktails...wine...QUALITY of the food - all make this a destination restaurant for those who know...or don't and want to taste the difference. I cannot say enough about how memorable it was from start to finish, we appreciate every bit of it so much!

We had a lovely experience doing the Tour De France wine tasting this evening! The ambiance of this place is absolutely stunning, once you walk in from outside it feels like you’re being transported to France itself! Oh and the main event, the wine is absolutely incredible! We tasted 6 wines and they are some of the most unique wines I have ever tried and 2 were from regions I had never even heard of in France. 10/10 recommend stopping in to check out this wonderful spot!

Amazing wine, delicious food, and an intimate atmosphere! If you love wine, do yourself a favor and come for a tasting to transport yourself to France for a few hours. Absolutely worth every penny!

We had a great experience at a wine tasting on Tuesday night. We had a group of 9 and ordered food in addition to the 6 wine tastings- everything was amazing. Wine was tasty, the food was all fresh with amazing flavors (the burrata crepe was very popular!), and the service was fantastic with informative lessons on the French wines and their regions.

Amazing wine bar experience. The staff is very personable, attentive, and knowledgeable. Plenty of options for food, and they have more than just wine. If you don’t know what you want or what you are in the mood for they will help you narrow it down. I’ve been coming here for years and I have yet to leave feeling disappointed. I’ve gone to plenty of bars around town and many times it’s just that, a bar (and that’s completely okay), but Authentique feels more like a third space, a place where you can find a real community. A place where you can make friends, learn something new every time you visit, and just relax. I don’t write reviews very often but I think one has earned it and then some.

I have visited this place 3-4 times in the last couple of months and I just love it, the owners Alexandre and Philippine are truly dedicated people with a huge knowledge in wine and food, I have personally spoke to both of them during my last couple of visits and the conversation makes the ambiance delightful, Alexandre is able to have a fluid conversation in English, French and Spanish, I have to say that I was just not into French wines but now I am a fan of these great wines. I will soon stop visiting Nashville and I will miss this place so much.

What just happened? We stumbled on this place in Radom strip mall in East Nashville. What a delight! Great service, incredible wine list, wonderful French cuisine. What’s a find.

My husband took me to The Authentique Wine Bar & Creperie for Valentine's Day. We got reservations for 5:30 and were the first ones inside after they opened at 5, but they quickly filled up. It's decorated like a classic bistro, because that's what it is. I got a flight of wine, which was utterly delicious. They have flights of other alcohol such as whiskey as well. We got a charcuterie and cheese board which came with a basket of bread. I ordered the citron crepe and my husband ordered a croque madame and a crepe with salted caramel and bananas. 10/10. Fantastic atmosphere, food and wine.

We went to this location with my friends and received the worst experience when I asked to speak to the manager, the owner came out with the worst attitude she could possibly have in her French accent. I have never been so disrespected and received the worst experience at a French wine bar like I did Over the weekend. I believe that the management and owner needs to learn American ways and respect
