Popular local coffee shop - stood in line for quite some time. And, now I know why. The owner?manager made sure I was absolutely happy with my coffee before I left. I was! Beautiful large outdoor area for those people who bring their kiddos. Inside is a playground for adults - visiting, reading books, relaxing. I love it here.

I love Java Owl. If you're looking for a true coffee house vibe, this location is a gem in the Clear Lake/NASA area. It's quiet, good playlist, plenty of tables and a covered patio area. The drinks are always great and reasonable! They have an All Day drip coffee if you plan to stay for a while. I never feel rushed and everyone is always SO attentive and friendly. If you come in the evening they often have events, and they have bookshelves FILLED with games. Best coffee shop around, you won't be disappointed!

Wheelchair User Review: Beautiful Coffee House and friendly service… worth the visit if you’re near NASA or Galveston area. The breakfast scone that I had is made fresh daily (Cheddar something Scone) which is always sold out. I got the unlimited coffee refills (must be at establishment and NOT leave and come back program for $1 extra). Restroom is a little hard to turn around in a Manuel wheelchair. Doors are very easy to open in the establishment. The ramp to get near the entrance to the door is narrow… please be very careful rolling to the entrance. In all, I will be back…

Lovely coffee and friendly service. Ordered an almond milk flat white, which is served in a gorgeous large cup and was glad I added an extra shot to make it a little stronger. Bagel with cream cheese was fresh, nicely toasted and served with the perfect amount of cream cheese. Lots of seating inside and out. Perfect place to grab a quick coffee before heading to the Space Center.

Coffee and bakery are both very good. It is a bit crowded on the Saturday morning we visit, but we found a small table for us. Although it is close to other tables, it is neither too loud nor too quiet. There are also sofa for more relaxed seating. Very clean tidy and cozy coffee shop.

Excellent place to hang out and play games with friends! The menu is great; you can tell this is owned by someone who knows and appreciates good coffee. They also have a better food menu than most coffee shops! I recommend the nitro cold brew and grapefruit Topo-Chico; they complement each other well!

YES. What a marvelous find. The moment I walked toward the counter, a charming voice called his welcome and offer to answer any questions. I am specific about tasting notes in my coffee and he zeroed in on my best option: a Brazilian chemex preparation. The decor is open, brightly lit, offering multiple seating options from single to group gathering. If you bring kids, there’s a significant collection of games. Send them around on Silent Owl Spotting while they wait. The patio is marvelous, offering shade from umbrellas and live oaks. My chemex pour was brilliantly prepared: strong, piping hot and delicious. I do hope you meet John. He is the picture of gracious hospitality.

Traveling for work this week, I decided to explore local coffee shops. Java Owls staff is one of a kind from service to quality of coffees that are made. My first visit left an amazing impression, I decided to come once more today prior to our departure. The coffee shop is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to lounge in. The vibes here are amazing. The coffee's are consistently delicious. Inside has a cozy and comfy, welcoming vibe. There's even an outdoor section so you can sit outside with your furry friends when the weather is nice. I love coming here and even their food is solid. Definitely recommend grabbing a coffee here when you're in Clear Lake. 4/29 Update: Still one of the best (if not the best) coffee places in the bay area! Photos are of a Caramel Latte Frappe and Apple Danish. (: 6/30 Update: Still delish, still amazing. Got a Coconut Cream Frappe and I was enamored by it!

The absolute BEST coffee presentation!! Whatever you decide to take from the menu, you will NOT be disappointed by the visual beauty! Their frappes are DELICIOUS and lattes are wonderful. The people working here are so welcoming and hospitable, it can't get any better than this. Shout out to the owner for instantly recognizing regular customers and greeting them with a welcoming and acknowledging smile! Will definitely keep visiting! Edit: Everytime I walk in here, I realize again and again why this place deserves a perfect 5 star. It's so easy to differentiate this place from literally every other coffee place in Greater Houston. Eagerly look forward to trying every coffee on their menu because the presentation is always a pleasant surprise!! Their choco chip muffin is great too!

I finally had a chance to visit here and I'm glad I did. Really cool environment and well priced drinks. The Carmel latte frappe is heavenly 😇. The flavor and texture and whipped cream made for an ultra velvety and magnificent taste. The iced Carmel macchiato wasn't as good as McDonald's though and couldn't really taste any carmel. Either way I do want to try other drinks if I'm not going here for that frappe.

I really wanted this to be good. I did not enjoy the cappuccino, but that might just be me. The scone was good. The atmosphere is really cool. I love the Board games. Im sitting next to a couple playing backgammon.
