Excellent food, great entertainment but the service was a bit off tonight...couple waitors need to show a little more care and attention to the customers, be more attentive and show they appreciate the customer after we basically pay their salaries and table tips, just saying...thank you

This place is small but very comfortable and beautiful. I loved the wine decor on the walls. Also, the food was delicious, I tried something new like the Mushroom fritter, something I've never heard of before and was intimidated to order, but it was so delicious I couldn't stop eating it. Additionally, the food was plentiful, I have lunch for the next couple days practically, and I love it. The man who served us was very on task, he didn't forget anything and he also said his favorite dishes too, which we greatly appreciated. As soon as I got home I shared this place with my friends and I will definitely be coming again shortly.

Service was excellent! Kristen was fabulous. Lamb burger was best I’ve had, well seasoned and tasty. A bit dark inside but outside seating is lovely. 2 levels outside f so I if you want to look out, no problem, and a lower level for more privacy. A lovely place with a European menu. Refreshing when you want something just a bit different. It’s an easy walk from marinas, too, so you can avoid the tourist zone. We look forward to visiting again.

Excellent food and service!! I had the blackened Hog Fish and it was delicious with a glass of dry Riesling. It would be nice if they had Syrah wine by the glass. The atmosphere is cozy and has cute wine themed decor. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing! All of the food is outstanding, the people that work here are so friendly. There was such a variety of food to chose from and everything was so good! A guy that works there named Samuel was so nice and we really enjoyed his company. Try the pulled pork egg rolls, they were my favorite thing out of the whole menu! Would definitely recommend this place!

Delicious food and great service. Everything we ordered was great. Loved the steak, chicken and chorizo flatbread and loved the sweet heat Conch appetizer. Highly recommend.

Very nice environment, friendly staff, food didnt take long to come out. They have a lot of seafood options. Intimate type vibes, mellow music.

Attended Syrah with a group. The food was tasty! The atmosphere was great with a live band. The staff were friendly. The venue is very cosy, they have a large outdoor area too which is shaded by a large wonderful tree. I recommended you take a trip here it will be worth your effort! We will return!

Decadent brownie, mahi mahi burger, and blackened chicken with penne were AMAZING 5/5 Ambiance - the setting is lovely 5/5 Noise level 3/5 but the songs were phenomenal, just a tad loud Service- 3/5 --- 2 days later got a do-over of the fritters after I spoke to the Chef about it and tried the hummus with pita which were all delicious and more enjoyable 😉

I love the vibe of Syrah. When you walk into this wine bar, you feel like you have been transported into chic and sophisticated vineyard. The food was delicious and unique to the restaurant. I will definitely visit again.

Syrah is cozy and intimate yet familiar. Its like Cheers, a place where everyone knows your name. This, however; is not the best part. The best part is the food along with the wine!

I enjoyed having lunch at Syrah. The atmosphere was very cozy and quaint. The food came out fairly quickly and it was flavorful. I also ordered a strawberry mojito. One of the best I've ever had.

I've begun getting used to wait staff taking the order, bringing the food, and then simply ignoring us for the rest of the time while dining in Nassau. This was no exception. I've gotten used to bringing my own water bottle to top off my glass. Selections were a bit eclectic, but reasonably good. Maureen had the pork chop, nicely prepared and quite a large cut. I chose the Guinness Beef Pot Pie. There were supposed to be vegetables in there, but only saw a couple of diced carrots pieces. Tasty, and a good portion of meat, but the puff pastry took up the majority of the bowl, and while the top of the pastry was flaky and good, the base of it was a tough, gnarled bit that took some work with the butter knife provided to get through. Left me wishing I'd tried the Mongolian Beef instead. The crispy Brussels sprouts need a mention. Large portion of large Brussels sprouts served, but only slightly toasted and far from crispy, but they were still enjoyable.

Syrah is consistent. Good food, great atmosphere, friendly service. I ordered grilled salmon; it was delicious. Their dips are dipilcious😋. The pulled pork egg rolls will keep you coming back for more. And the chicken poppers are the best I've had, anywhere. They are a bit pricey, but you will get your money's worth. The best thing I like about Syrah is the wine cellar. You can pair your meal with the perfect wine choice. One thing to know, however, the outside dining is very pleasant but the traffic from the street outside can be noisy and annoying. Inside the restaurant is cozy and dimly lit. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

Food was amazing and very good quality! Our server Angelo was pleasant and efficient. The food was a little pricey but overall a great experience!

It took a while to wait for outdoor seating because of the weather but the service was okay.The food was good.

Inside was decorated very nice , service from bartender was excellent because he took the order , served food , drinks and brought the check . Steak was over cooked so it taste burnt also crisp orange beef was hard and dry !

We reserved a time here for dinner, over WhatsApp, which was very convenient. The WhatsApp communication was fast and helpful. Parking is easy but a little small in the adjoining space. The inside is a little bit of a surprise compared to the austere look outside. Inside is close to a party club environment with loud music, low light and tight space, so it was quite loud. Our server took a while to get to our table and greet us. Their cocktail menu was unlike other places in Nassau - more eclectic and beyond fruit juice based. We ordered cocktails that we enjoyed a lot....I am sure their wine selection is very good, seeing that it is a wine place. For dinner we ordered a western burger pizza, Drunken blackened chicken and Sweet chili mongolian beef dish with rice. Our food was served in reasonable time and the drunken chicken pasta was one of the best spicy vodka sauces I have ever tried - spicy and creamy. The beef dish was very tasty as well and more on the sweeter side. All their food items were definitely well made and cut above the rest of the restaurants. However their service wasn’t better than average places in Nassau. In fact our server didn’t come to check on us for more drinks or even dessert. He was ultra focussed and friendly with a group of older customers right by our table, but successfully kept ignoring us. We had to wave him for our check and mentioned that we wanted to order dessert but we had been waiting for a long time for him to come over, he didn’t seem bit concerned or apologetic. Also the tips were at 17% here compared to the 15% in other places. Definitely good food makes this place worthy of a visit but don’t hope for good service from servers.

A friend and I decided to stop by at lunchtime for a beer to check out this restaurant with a view to coming back at a later date. It is pitched at the high end market as evidenced by the prices. The minimum price for a glass of wine is $14. The inside is dark and cozy with wines lining the walls ala a wine cellar. Beautifully done. The outside is well laid out with plenty of shade from a huge tree and a cool breeze coming in from the Harbour; slightly spoiled by the traffic flowing on the other side of a wooden fence and the view of a boat repair yard. We ordered two beers and were served with beers that had expired their best before dates by nearly one month. Not the sort of thing you expect from an establishment catering to the more discerning customer,especially at those prices. We pointed this out to two passing waiters who eventually took it up with management. Subsequently, we were offered two beers of a different brand complimentary....at no point did the manager come to speak to us. I found that disappointing for an establishment that has such pretentions. I cannot fault the line staff who were polite and attentive. I feel that the real measure of a restaurant is how customer complaints are dealt with. The management and owners need to review their stock taking policies and customer service before they can begin to compete at the level of other fine dining venues in Nassau.

Positive: great atmosphere; great selection of good and drinks; Negative: 2nd time there.. Service is unnecessarily slow even when there aren't a lot of patrons. 2nd time ordering steak. Can't get the temperature right.

Food was good. Service was not. No water for the table, no napkins for the table. We were pretty much ignored unless we flagged the waiter to request something. The party of 8 next to us got all the attention though. Must have been regulars...

Frist time ..Poor service !! Was looking forward on dining here for a while the hotess was very welcoming but the service was a zero !! Waited long before he took our order the app's came very quick but our server was doing his own thing The food was pretty good that red sauce that came with the conch bites was soo goood the lobster was okay but wasn't seasoned well enough.. first time trying street corn and that was delicious...service really needs to he improve before I decide to return

I had the blackened hogfish sandwich and I have to say, I didn’t expect the fish to be charred blacker than my complexion. In the first bite I cut the inside of my mouth on the charcoal exterior of the fish. The texture? Rubbery as a car tire. I was taken back to my primary school days when I used to chew on my pencil eraser. This unwarranted trip down memory lane was neither appropriate nor appreciated. I had read a review about this sandwich beforehand, and had assumed I would enjoy it, but now I can rest assured that the person who reviewed it would not be invited to the cookout. The wait for the food was almost an hour, and it probably took this long because they were dragging this accursed hogfish out of the farthest recesses of the freezer, and blackening it to kingdom come. The sorry excuse for bread could barely contain the massive slab of rock hard meat they threw on it, and as a man with a big mouth I was taken aback by how hard it was to chew through it. I felt like I was taking a bite out of Kemp Road. A jackhammer wouldn’t have faired better against the pound of concrete they served me on a pretty white plate. The server, Judah, was the only saving grace of the night. God bless his heart. I will not be returning.

So had drinks at Syrah tonight and all of a sudden my happy hour drinks went from $8 to $16 plus Vat and Grat That's $22 per drink roughly I could drink in Atlantis for less than that.

The service is terrible. Because the gratuity is included, it seems that there is NO incentive to provide good service. Sidney, a male server was very demeaning to our group stating things such as “this is a fancy restaurant, we don’t have that” when we tried to order certain drinks and judgmentally telling our party that our drink selections were “unhealthy.” From a business that serves wine- this is very hypocritical. We were told not to “make things complicated.” along with other unnecessary commentary. The food is good and I can’t take that away from the establishment but the bad customer service will leave a bad taste in your mouth. Save yourself the hassle and take your business elsewhere.

Came here for dinner on 18/Feb. After an hour of waiting for our food, were told that our food would be delayed by another 20 minutes due to ‘unprecedented delays in the kitchen.’ Almost another hour passed. Had we been warned prior to being seated, we would have left to find an alternate restaurant. No complimentary bread or appetizers were provided while we waited for 2 hours. When the food finally arrived, it was good but not worth the prices, delays, and lack of communication.
