This was not a burger. This was the logical endpoint of history. I bit into that Whopper and tasted the invisible hand of the market guiding my jaw. Empires rose, continents were mapped, railroads were driven like iron nails into the skull of the earth, all so this sandwich could exist at this exact moment, wrapped in wax paper like a sacred industrial relic. Ignore the negative reviews. Those people are weak, uninitiated, or hostile to progress. Is this “artificial”? Of course it is. This burger is the aggregated labor of thousands of workers, millions of cattle-hours, oceans of oil, and a supply chain so vast it can only be understood by gods and logistics software. The beef was ground by machines that do not sleep. The bun was engineered for structural integrity. The cheese is no mere dairy product - it is a polymerized dairy-adjacent construct, stabilized against entropy itself. Nature did not make this burger. America did.
This Burger King made my insides feel so good. I met so many amazing travelers at the historic Burger King. The Atmosphere here makes me feel proud to be a human being. The workmanship of the amazing burger makers at Burger King makes me realize just how lucky we are to live in a world of fine dining. 10/10 would return.
FRIES WEREN’T COOKED! The fries that I got looked and tasted like they hadn’t seen deep frying oil in their lives, let alone room temperature oil. They were barely salted and it was like choking down a dry baked potato. Honestly I had to force myself to finish the small bag I ordered. My friend ordered curly fries for an extra charge and they gave him regular fries which he was rightfully upset about. They also don’t give you ketchup with the fries which makes the experience EVEN WORSE! Then for the burger, it was good for the first 2/3, then I took it out of the wrapper to finish it and the only part left was straight mayo and bun which was nasty. If you can avoid this Burger King, DO IT AT ALL COSTS!
Worst experience at Burger King! 45 minutes of waiting for a meal that arrived cold, wet and not good . Way too long, especially in an airport where customers had to leave their paid orders behind to catch their flights. Meanwhile, employees stood in front of the kitchen, glued to their smartphones watching videos or chatting on the phone. Dirty tables, overflowing trash cans, and a filthy floor… Poor management and unmotivated staff. Cheap labor leads to cheap service. Avoid this place at all costs!
Avoid! I'm not sure what's going on here but it's not something good. The menu is limited which is understandable BUT everything else is like you're stuck in a bad dream. I chose the Whopper Meal because I thought it would be easy to order. That was wrong. I was asked what size of fries I wanted but you could only get the large one which was more expensive. Then I was asked what size of beverage I wanted but you could only get the large one. Which was more expensive Oh, by the way, don't you want the reusable cup for an extra 1€ when you've already paid extra för everything else? No? TOO BAD because if you want something to drink you HAVE TO choose the reusable cup. And the food was as mediocre as expected. The only positive thing was that there was basically no waiting time for the meal (but with no possibly for variation in your order that is the least you can expect...)
Frustratingly slow. 2 out of 4 terminals working. Massive line. I guy making burgers at a snails pace. After almost 30 mins still no burger and needed to leave it so I didn’t miss my flight. Avoid at all costs if your flight boarding is within 1 hour
Wait time for a burger was 25min and yet it came with wrong ingredients. Instead of trying to solve the issue i was placed back in queue and had to wait additional time for my food. Staff at this restaraunt is the unfriendliest and rudest I have ever seen. These people should not be working at customer service at all!! Additionally the restaraunt is really filthy. Like it ja not been cleaned for a week. Trash everywhere you look, on the floor, under the tables, on the tables, etc.
Quite simply, the laziest bunch of people you'll ever come across at a 'fast food' restaurant. Because one thing they aren't, is fast. I've seen sloths on valium move quicker than this lot. They just loaf about with all the urgency of a snail carrying a very heavy brick. Your food will be cold but they don't care. Avoid like the plague
Absolutely ridiculous this burguer king, manage your staff please this was horrible, more than 20 people waiting over 1h for their orders. I don’t blame the staff, they were obviously stressed and UNDER pressure. Never seen anything like this, they couldn’t even return the money. Put people to work! Where is the management of this place? If it was me I would quit today that’s for sure and would recommend the staff working on this day to do the same. 11/january 2026 at 7pm
Extremely rude and unprofessional. No basic manners, no respect for customers. I honestly wonder who hurt you. I truly hope life treats you better so you can at least be a little kinder. A waitress like this completely ruins the dining experience. LIKE WHO HURT YOU MBAAAA??? HERE’S A CANDID OF YOU LOL🧏🏻♀️
Poor, the staff are in no rush whatsoever, too busy socialising and not caring. The guys doing the food seemed really on the ball but it took over 15 minutes from my burger being ready for it to be served, by which time it was cold. Avoid
This is the most disgusting Burger King I've been to and I've traveled a lot! Not worth a penny. The lines are long and orders are rolling in, the staff sometimes stand in the corner and talk/laugh, some stand with the phone in their hands. They put the drinks in a row on the table and are already filled which they then give to everyone who ordered a drink?! So the drink has been there for 10-20 minutes at least. How lazy can staff be? Working at fast food chains is a fast pace, but these worked as if they were planting flowers. I stood at the cash register and waited for my food, the bag that was mine at the time stood there for 5 minutes until the staff who were having fun decided to call my number. The fries were chalky white, probably dipped in oil for 1 minute and then back up, the cheeseburger was dry as a desert. No, UGH. You should be glad you even have a job, there are people in line who can take over and you as an employer should literally fire every single one of them.
I made an order for a double cheese and a coke at 13:14. I waited untill 13:45 whilst asking the staff whether they coukd help me out. Was refused everytime had to leave for my flight without my order. FastFood isnt supposed to take 30 minutes. Staff was working slow and bantering with each other more than fulfilling orders
At some point, this Burger King won an award (according to the plaquet on the wall). Whoever payed to make that happen should come visit the restaurant and experience the trash it represents. I am honestly shocked it is allowed to be open at this point. Nothing, and I mean nothing about this place is worth the agony of having to bite down on the horrible food or taste the disgusting liquids that come out of their dispensers. Btw, I love a good Burger King meal! Had I been a resident in the country I would have reported the restaurant to the health authorities. It is dirty! Nothing works and the staff does not care one bit! Orders are wrong, staff is oblivious at best, food tastes bad, drinks smell bad, food is cold, salad is brown, no salt is offered, floor is sticky, counter is dirty, not one of our orders were complete. Please BK, fire the manager of this place and close the doors! Everyone else, do not visit! 0/10!
Very very bad… all young team member. They don’t have the manager in front, so they were just laughing chatting, hanging at the corner. No haste at all while people wants to grab and go for thier flights. Even when the bags og food are ready and they just need to do the drinks. They don’t care at all. One the the worst BURGER KING EVER. No one is paying attention even people are staring at them angrily because everything where ready and they just do what they want because management is not around. The whooper does not look and taste whooper because uts missing ingredients… so disappointing
The worst BK I have ever been to. I want’t to point out that I don’t like posting bad reviews. This is the first time I give a one star review in my whole life. So first there seems to be no real organisation. The cashier was borderline in depression, no smile, just bored. It immediately made me question if I should take a burger. I Bought fries + cola + sauces for 8.95€ which is a joke of a price. and had to wait 15 minutes because they were focused on doing something else. I could see them walking slowly at their pace. No bother for the 7 orders waiting. And I could see my order, getting cold. I then asked for the sauces, which I payed for, and the guy told me to ask the cashier. I said no, I paid I want my ketchup thanks. The whole place is disgusting, trash on every table. I’m sure not everything is to be blamed on the employees, but get your shit together please. 🙏
If patience were a meal, I’d have been full long before Burger King ever handed me my cold fries. I queued for over half an hour just to order a vegan burger that, it turns out, didn’t actually exist. The menu was full of vegan options, pity the kitchen wasn’t. Out of five ordering screens, only two worked, which made the queue crawl. When I finally reached the front, the vegan items had magically vanished from availability. So, after all that, I settled for chips and a dip. Even that went wrong: the machine didn’t print my receipt, the staff couldn’t care less, and the only thing moving quickly was their conversation with each other. Then came the wait, another 10 to 15 minutes for my cold, lifeless fries. My “barbecue sauce” turned out to be ketchup, and when I asked for the right one, I was told to bring the whole bag back, as if the sauce swap required forensics. I had to snatch the cold fries out of my friends mouth, put them back into the paper bag and take the order back to be examined by a rude toddler. Still, no apology, no smile, just a shrug. And the best part? It cost me €22. For cold fries, a wrong dip, and a masterclass in indifference. Honestly, one star feels generous. If you’re flying out of Schiphol, you’d be better off eating your boarding pass, it’s probably warmer, cheaper, and comes with better service.
What an terrible place. I this restaurant was any other place than this airport it would be closed. I was there with the family for a quick bit before a late flight during rush hour. Must say I never have experience such a arrogant service in any fastgood restaurant. After ordering food from the self ordering computer, I was i disbelief how bad the kitchen was operated and managed. As the queue was getting bigger and bigger I could see more of the staff not helping nor trying to pace the work. I could see more of the orders where held up by the beverages wasn't ready. The responsible person was busy talking with the coworker than completing the orders. My order was no exception, as I could se my order/number was ready it took almost 3 minutes before they started to prepare the drinks. 4 coke zeros in about 5 minutes including a small talk. Tanks for cold burgers!
Attention: Burger King management, staffs & customers here in Amsterdam Airport Schiphol Every time we had connection flight here in Amsterdam Airport Schiphol , we always had Burger King for a quick dined! This time it was worse experienced ever !! It was around past 7:30pm ! Only 1 kiosk available while some staff do NOTHING!! Laughing, chatting each other! Staff are screaming each other, arguing each other 🤦🏻♀️ They received salaries for that? Soo slow service and the food was not correct ordered!! Others complained for waiting in line!! I will not recommend this kind of service, this kind of employees! Not hardworking people!
usually i am all for patience for the staff, they have a hard job. but these guys were unbelievable, they were chilling, laughing, sometimes doing nothing??? for minutes not just seconds, and they opened just 1 counter?!?!?! the self order machines were all out of order, so we waited in line for 30minutes while a staff was just talking on his phone for like 25minutes instead of delaying his break 15minutes because it was just a wave of customers. after that he could easily take his break an chill.and they didnt have even half of the options that was on the menu
Only one out of five machines worked, long queue as well and took us around 30 mins just to order. When we wanted to order at the counter, the staff was giving attitude (yelling and looking at us with her eyes wide big) and told us to line up at the self service machines (when they had previously taken orders from others just fine). Took another 30 mins to pick up our food since the staff were all just chatting and laughing with each other but not working, even the managers as well. They did not care how many people were waiting urgently for the food before their flight. Luckily we had some time before our flight and it wasn't a big problem. Burger was fine but the Coke was not carbonated and has no ice at all. The fries are also not salted properly. Very bad last impressions of the Netherlands that tourists need to experience.
Only one out of five ordering machines was working, and they don’t allow counter orders. With just one machine available, you’d expect faster service to compensate — but they took an eternity to serve even the simplest orders. Completely inefficient, poorly managed, and not what you’d expect at one of Europe’s busiest airports. Avoid if you’re in a rush — or if you value your time at all.
By far the worst Burger King restaurant I have ever been at. Uncomfortable and too few table, no cleaning, only five digital screens for order and very long wait for food. Burger King seems to have put no effort to make this a efficient and pleasant experience, both for the straff and The customers. Which is really weird since this location is very popular, despite the miserable conditions, due to non-existent alternatives for fast food after the security control.
