Trovato per caso sulla strada in direzione Como. Siamo rimasti colpiti dalla struttura ben curata e ci siamo fermati. Posto incantevole affacciati sul lago. Piatti ottimi e molto ben presentati. Personale presente ma non invadente. Ci ritorneremo.

Fantastica location e servizio ottimo! Piatti buonissimi e ben presentati con personale davvero professionale. La location è splendidamente affacciata sul lago con pontile privato per eventuale attracco. Prezzi davvero contenuti per il servizio ricevuto è la qualità del cibo. Sicuramente da visitare nuovamente e assolutamente consigliato!

Un ristorante incredibile. Abbiamo prenotato per 7 il primo dell’anno, hanno avuto la pazienza di aspettare la nostra ora di ritardo tenendoci il tavolo che avevamo prenotato nonostante fosse uno di quelli con la vista più bella di tutto il ristorante. La cucina a vista era mozzafiato, i piatti bellissimi e le porzioni molto abbondanti rispetto alle nostre aspettative. I secondi di lago sono stati il punto di forza del pranzo, i dolci molto buoni ma niente di sorprendente. Di solito non do 5 stelle, ma nel nostro gruppo c’era una celiaca e sono riusciti a riproporre gli stessi piatti anche in chiave gluten free mantenendo lo stesso livello di qualità. Complimenti!

Ristorante elegante, servizio molto attento e location bellissima. Cibo molto buono, per antipasto abbiamo preso un sufflè delicato curato al dettaglio. Come primi tagliolini al tartufo (eccezionali), e strozzapreti . Buoni anche i dolci. Vasta la selezione di vini, abbiamo scelto un vino locale che si abbinava bene ai piatti presi. Consigliatissimo

Pranzo di matrimonio tra amici e parenti, il locale è affacciato sul lago di Como e ha un suo pontile di attracco, ampio parcheggio nelle vicinanze. Il vino e i cibi sono di ottima qualità. E si gode di una splendida vista sul lago sia dall'interno che dai tavoli esterni. Consigliato

Il segreto è alzare gli occhi al cielo! Se vedete che è terso e un dolce sorriso lunare vi mette qualche pensiero romantico, incrociate le dita e sperate ci sia posto! Sarà un'esperienza davvero unica!

We stumbled upon this restaurant as we were driving along Lake Como. We only had a couple of appetizers and a small bottle of wine because the kitchen was going to be closing for them to get ready for dinner, so we didn't have a larger entre. However, the appetizers and the dessert we had, were absolutely delicious and we wish we could have ordered a full meal. If you have a chance to dine here, take the opportunity to do so. You won't be disappointed.

We sat by the water on the terrace and ordered the white fish tartare, fois gras, porcini baked potato with cheese fondue for starters. For the main course, we had the balsamic glazed fish and ravioli. For dessert, the crème brûlée, blackcurrant cheesecake and apple crumble. The food was exquisite and the view of the lake and mountains felt like a perfect escape. The waiters were knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend this place. Thank you!

We had a fantastic dinner at Crotto Dei Platini for our 1 year wedding anniversary! The view and the food is spectacular. We had the White Fish Tartare with Black Truffle, the Rich Fresh Egg Pasta with Acid Butter and Umbria’s Black Truffle, the Roasted Lamb Rack, and the Warm Chocolate Cake (pictures below). All 4 courses were absolutely delicious. So good that we savored every single bite. I will be dreaming about this meal and the views for the rest of my life. I highly recommend eating here! Also, if you’re staying in Bellagio like we did, highly recommend having Bellagio Charter take you to and from dinner. Truly the best experience!

Took my parents and my girlfriend for a lovely dusk dinner. Cant fault the views: it’s nestled in a little depression beside the Via Statale, totally on its own there, has its own pier (we chose to take a boat to the restaurant), as do most other guests, and has broad views looking north up Como. Pretty staggering. The service (Marko) was exceptional - thoughtful, friendly and attentive without being overbearing (and just enough flirting with my mum…). The food was good, local, game and lake-fish heavy - but the only area they fell at all short. My mushroom tart was pretty soft and squishy (technical terms), and the tagliata di manzo was a little tough. The pasta (we had the crab ragú and duck papardelle) was absolutely delicious, however.

Beautiful restaurant in Como, by the water. Great location for lunch or dinner, in our case we went in for dinner and we were amazed by how good the food was(fantastic) Our drive from Milan to Como for dinner was absolutely worthy it for the amazing experience we had here. Desserts options were great but unfortunately they didn’t have anything appealing for dairy intolerants besides fruits… They have great and wide wine list for the wine lovers. I look forward to visiting during the summer. must be charming.

Amazing location, very elegant and beautiful restaurant. Stunning views. Outstanding service. Upscale, but with moderate prices. We had a big group and got to try several dishes from the menu. Everything was delicious, flavorful and nicely presented. Would love to come back on a warmer day and enjoy the view from their patio.

The reviews are not lying - this place should be on your dinner reservation list while visiting Lake Como. Stunning views, delicious food and top notch service. Reservation is a must. I called and they were super kind and spoke great English. You can sit inside or outside at the grotto or veranda. They operate in shifts - so you either eat around 7:30 PM (right when they open) or later around 9:30 PM. This place is located outside the village, so it's a bit tricky to get to. Parking is limited but the valets are super helpful. If you feel extra fancy, you can dock directly in front of the restaurant with your boat 😉 The food was authentic, full of flavors and especially the ravioli deserve a mention here. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this place.

This restaurant is spectacular. I first visited this place in 2017 and have been coming here ever since. The setting is beyond gorgeous. The building and the site are stunning. The terrace is beautiful. Most importantly, their food is incredibly memorable. Every single dish, from antipasti to main dishes, everything was scrumptious and just right. The service was unobtrusive, one of those “invisible” ones when dishes appear and disappear like by magic. Highly, highly recommend.

What an incredible experience !!! Compare to all the basic tourist restaurants we tried around the lac this one is the best and from far. Yes you'll pay a little more compare to the others of the Lac (10 to 20% more) but everything is here . The service the most important the food and the spot ! For the wine lovers you will also find the best one (they own a cave in the mountain). All the photos you see are the plates we took and every one of them where delightful. Posto molto bello se si riesce a trovar posto fuori. Ho chiamato 3 settimane prima ma essendoci un pre-matrimonio per quel giorno ci hanno messo comunque dentro, dove l'atmosfera non è così magica perchè gli interni sono piuttosto asettici e freddi. Cibo buono, ma l'antipasto di pesci di lago in diverse preparazioni non mi ha entusiasmato. Staff molto preparato e disponibile.

Abbiamo festeggiato gli 80 anni di mio suocero, è stato una cena carina peccato facesse molto caldo. Le portate si buone ma da rivedere un pochino....i miei mezzi paccheri al sugo di cinghiale con pinoli e olive taggiasche abbastanza salati. Ottima la torta di compleanno torta chantilly con fragole.. Buono il servizio al tavolo dei camerieri. Peccato che ad una certa ora il tavolo si è riempito di moscerini volanti e anche i bicchieri. Nel contesto cena gradita, anche se il prezzo del conto era un pochino altino, ma ci sta per la location. L'unica pecca che c'è stata è quando il cameriere è uscito dalla cucina con la torta di compleanno già con le candeline accese, non siamo riusciti neanche a scattare qualche foro che avevano fretta di tagliarla.

Atmosfera mozzafiato, come essere sospesi sul lago. La cucina con tanto pesce é buona e ricercata, senza alcuna eccellenza. Il servizio invece l’ho trovato un po stanco. Sicuramente un bellissimo posto dove trascorrere un pranzo o cena, sia per qualche ricorrenza, che per un pasto romantico. I prezzi però troppo elevati per il servizio (escluso l’apprezzatissimo aperitivo di benvenuto)

Ho mangiato un paio di volte presso il Ristorante Crotto dei Platani. Che dire, dopo la recente ristrutturazione del locale, devo dire che la location é molto migliorata, è stato curato molto il dettaglio e l’hanno reso ancora più bello di quello che era prima. La terrazza con vista sul lago assolutamente il suo punto forte. Ho mangiato i tagliolini al caffè con ragù di cinghiale, davvero buoni. L’ossobuco alla carne di Vitello, mi è piaciuto meno; io lo migliorerei un po’. Prezzi un po’ altini... però è stata una bella esperienza (da ripetere).

Il ristorante ha una location bellissima, curata molto pulita, divisa in 3 parti, interna patio e giardino, le ultime due garantiscono una bellissima vista sul lago di Como, i camerieri sono puntuali gentili ed attinti alle esigenze dei commensali. Non posso però dare la quinta stella per due piccoli dettagli, il primo è l'impossibilità di prenotare un tavolo specifico, se devi fare un lungo viaggio per non avere una certezza nella posizione potrebbe causare nervosismo, la seconda è nell'impossibilità di fare un aperitivo prima delle 12:30 orario di apertura del locale.

La location è fantastica, con i tavoli che si affacciano direttamente sul lago. Il personale è gentile e la qualità del cibo è abbastanza alta. I prezzi sono alti rispetto ad altri ristoranti, ma per la qualità del posto ne vale la pena.

The truffle butter pasta is AMAZING. This dish would cost $115 in the US, but here we got it with extra truffles for €25. Incredible. One of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in Italy. The restaurant staff is also great and the view is incredible. Highly recommend. Plus they have parking.

Good restaurant with beautiful lake view. We've jumped in for a quick lunch alongside the road, and it was a good experience. Service is friendly and very professional. The place itself looks great, the top level. Parking is a bit small, but we were lucky to find a spot. We also were guided during entering and leaving the parking, which was very nice. Se si iniziamo a considerare la location e la vista, le 5 stelle ci sono tutte. Il servizio è attento e curato, anche se le portate vengono servite “ una via l’altra”. Il personale è professionale e gentile. Ci si aspetta, dall’antipasto al dolce, per il conto finale, una qualità ben superiore. Anche l’impiattamento è molto semplice. Aspettativa disattesa. 😓 Consiglio ( come già suggerito in altra recensione): abbassare il prezzo, o aumentare la qualità.

Bellissima location sul lago dal quale si può godere di una vista assolutamente meravigliosa, con tanto di pontile con possibilità di attracco per le barche. Io e mio marito abbiamo deciso di provarlo dopo averne sentito parlare molto bene ma in tutta sincerità questo posto non ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. Il cibo è ben presentato ma non eccezionale per quel che riguarda la nostra esperienza. Per quanto riguarda il servizio c'è molto da lavorare a mio avviso, in un locale di quel livello (con tanto di prezzi di livello) è tassativo che venga eseguito un servizio adeguato.

I had the steak with truffle mushrooms - cooked medium, but it turned out a bit dry. Just okay. I’d rate it 6,5/10. My wife had the beef cheeks - lots of fat, not really enjoyable. 6/10. They charge for service, bread, and water (and the waiter’s smile felt like something from the 15th century crooked teeth and cavities included). That didn’t help the atmosphere. The view is truly stunning, no doubt. But with a small starter, a bottle of cheaper wine, two dishes and bread - I would’ve been happy to pay around 70€, not 113€. At that price, you start expecting fine dining, not average food. Final verdict: 3/5. Beautiful view, average food. Not quite worth it.

Buongiorno abbiamo pranzato ieri in questo ristorante molto carino x la vista e l ambiente ma finisce qui! Purtroppo la cucina davvero pessima, eravamo in 7 nessun piatto era all altezza del prezzo davvero eccessivo, il mio tortino era salatissimo, i primi cottura sbagliata e i secondi un disastro, pessimo il fritto misto non era croccante e insipido e la tagliata sembrava bollita e la cottura al sangue non è stata considerata!!! Il cameriere che versava il vino ne versava la metà sul tavolo ed il resto su di noi, in più portavano una cosa dietro l altra x metterci fretta!!! L abbiamo fatto notare e abbiamo deciso di servirci il vino da soli!!! Purtroppo bella la location ma per il resto tutto da rivedere! L unico cameriere attento e cordiale era il ragazzo di Catania! Consiglio o di abbassare i prezzi oppure alzare la qualità .

Ristorante con una bellissima location, incastonata proprio sul lago di Como a Brienno. Ha anche due spiazzi riservati per il parcheggio all’arrivo. I piatti serviti erano ben presentati ma sinceramente in un posto del genere mi aspettavo molto di più, vuole essere gourmet ma il cibo è nella media. Conto caro ma indubbiamente si paga la location, perché il cibo non vale la spesa. Lo staff è migliorabile, visto che nemmeno presentava i piatti quando li portava. I conti salati li pago anche volentieri se ne valgono la pena, non è questo il caso. Mi spiace ma non ci tornerò.

We visited this restaurant 2 weeks ago during our holiday after seeing many beautiful photos and positive reviews. Unfortunately, the restaurant turned out to be quite a disappointment. We ordered two starters and two main courses. In less than 10 minutes after ordering, our starters were already on the table. We found this very fast, especially considering the dishes didn’t look simple to prepare. The antipasti misto with fish was definitely not tasty. The fish was tough and sloppy, as if leftover fish from the fishmonger had been used. By the time we finished our starters, the main courses had already arrived. The steak with truffle had a very nice flavor and structure, but a little bit to much fat. The salmon, on the other hand, was not tasty at all and extremely dry. All in all, we were back outside after just one hour (?!), even though we had expected to enjoy a cozy, long dinner. We also noticed that food was served very quickly to all guests, and when we left, the restaurant was already empty. The location was beautiful, but the bill of €250 for two starters, two main courses, and a bottle of wine was definitely not worth it.

The atmosphere was rigid right from the start. We were taken to the terrace, which was completely empty, and placed in a corner. The waiters’ attitude was indifferent and rather phlegmatic. We had already had dinner at another restaurant, as we wanted to try as many places as possible during our two days here. So we only ordered dessert, which was good, but nothing extraordinary. When making the reservation, I specifically asked to sit downstairs on the terrace, which was half empty at the time, but this request was denied. Premessa: location davvero splendida e cucina molto buona. Servizio: velo pietoso. Abbiamo prenotato per le ore 13:30 per festeggiare in famiglia un matrimonio. Al momento della prenotazione ci è stato detto che non ci sarebbero stati problemi di orari, finché si sta seduti il servizio continua: la cucina ha chiuso alle 14:30. Camerieri pressanti e invadenti, sembrava una gara per terminare prima il servizio. Ordinati dei vassoi di antipasti hanno dovuto per forza mettere nei piatti le ultime fette di salumi rimaste per portare via i vassoi. Secondi ordinati al pelo, al momento della comanda nessun problema, sennonché il cameriere torna per informarci che la cucina era chiusa, non era possibile ricevere i secondi. Erano le 14:30, ma ripeto che ci era stato detto al momento della prenotazione che non ci sarebbero stati problemi. Alla fine dopo una leggera insistenza sono riusciti a servirci i piatti. Al momento del dessert un cameriere è rimasto in piedi dietro al tavolo nell’attesa che finissimo per sfilarci i piatti da sotto il naso. In una location del genere e soprattutto nel festeggiare un matrimonio ci saremmo aspettati un po’ più di riguardo e tranquillità. Inutile dire che la sposa avrebbe dato 0 stelle. Prezzo: corretto per la location e il tipo di cucina; Conto per 10 adulti circa 850€. Vino della casa buono.

Brides beware! My dinner was held on 11/14/25. For an entire year I went back and forth with this restaurant about my wedding dinner. Table settings, menu choices, and where I wanted to be placed in the restaurant were completely detailed. Contracts were signed and NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS were made. However upon arrival my request to be seated downstairs with individual tables for my guests was not agreed upon despite being perfectly clear in all previous correspondence. The event planner Roberto repeatedly argued that what he gave me was “better” and he “wasn’t charging me for it.” I didn’t ask for what you gave me and therefore I didn’t get what I paid for. Their solution was an extra round of drinks and €200 off my over €3000 dinner. If this restaurant ever re-opens maybe consider another venue. Contracts and your desires (that are in writing) seem arbitrary to this establishment.
