Rusty Bucket - New Albany

Had a lovely experience at The Rusty Bucket yesterday! The restaurant was busy (game day lunch time) but the service was wonderful, the space was clean and inviting and the food was delicious. We could smell delicious aromas emanating from the restaurant before we even walked in. Keyon was a great server! 1) The Wild Mushroom Pizza with roasted garlic, shiitake, portabella, caramelized onion, spinach and truffle oil. It was so good - I wanted to eat the whole thing but it was big enough that I ended up taking some home. 2) The Bucket burger with American cheese and MR. PLOT (medium-rare, pickles, lettuce, onion and tomato). My fiancé literally cleaned his plate. Topped off with some good old Angry Orchard, I couldn't have asked for a better lunch. Thank you for the great experience! We'll definitely be back.

Comfortable atmosphere and great food in a local restaurant/bar. Staff very personable and efficient. Wide selection of appetizers, meals, and. deserts. Convenient free parking.

The best Buffalo Chicken sandwich I've ever had, fries were perfect! Service was fast and friendly. Loved it! 09-21-22 Today I had the Meatloaf! It was absolutely excellent! Mashed potatoes and green beans were as good as the Meatloaf! Love this place! Service was 5 star!

Fantastic neighborhood tavern! Having just moved here from MN; we couldn't be happier with our food, experience and to have something "just down the road" to enjoy! Our server was on point!

This is our go-to spot. The food is always delicious and consistent. My favorite is the Cuban sandwich.

Great atmosphere and awesome customer service. The teamwork between the waitstaff (in this case, the bartenders) was phenomenal! I had the chicken parmesan with a pierogi appetizer. Both were very enjoyable.

Always a great option. Fried pickles are good and of course the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich is the GOAT!!

After our horrible service at Mellow Mushroom we decided to hit up the Rusty Bucket and have to say how impressed with the service we received.Our server was absolutely fantastic and unfortunately I forgot her name. Our food came fast and aside from a small error with my burger everything was fantastic. If in the area we will definitely return.

First time here and it did not disappoint! The friendly waitress, Janet, was so sweet and accommodating! The food was fantastic! Will def be back whenever we’re in the area !

On a business trip, stopped in for a quick bite and a drink. Nice welcoming place, great drinks, great service. I only had chicken wings, but they were good in quantity, in quality, flavor, and in price. It is absolutely recommended, I will return to.

Great restaurant. I had a Triple which was soup, a salad and half a club sandwich. It was delicious and had a great atmosphere. Will come back again when in New Albany, Ohio.

Great local bar and eatery. Popular and great atmosphere. Staff was super friendly and made you feel very welcome which I appreciate because I travel a lot. Food was great especially the beef stroganoff. One of the best I've ever had. Special call out to the girls at the bar for being engaging and friendly and on top of everything.

We love this place! Every time we are in town, we have to stop here. Our favorite appetizer is the peel and eat shrimp. And you can’t go wrong with their fish and chips or chicken Parmesan.

We found the Rusty Bucket by reading Google reviews and it did not disappoint. It was the best place for food that we visited while in Ohio. Our server was excellent and the food was great! We would definitely recommend it!

I've been there several times The food is great. Older crowd, so I fit right in. Service is hit or miss. They really need to put runners in place. I'm sure the food sits there until another server sees it's been there for a while and helps out their co worker Other than that, it is a place to grab a bit and a drink

We generally like this Place. Their menu is quite good and has some nice, healthy options. We love sitting out on the deck on a nice evening. The service can be up and down like many places, but generally no complaints. It gets a bit too noisy for my taste in the bar, hence the patio!

My husband & I went to Rusty Bucket in New Albany for brunch. It was nice that we were able to get seated right away on a Sunday at noon. We were surprised by that. Our server, Olivia, was great! She was very attentive. I ordered the Hot Brown since I'm from Kentucky. It's very tasty. My husband got the soup, salad, & sandwich combo. The soup was supposed to be a white bean chili, but it didn't taste like that at all. The soup was more of a gravy consistency & not very good, but we didn't want to complain. I tried his double nickel salad, & it was DELICIOUS! Overall, it was mostly a good experience.

The food was fine but the bartender can jam enough ice in a drink so you can get about an ounce of a drink. Bush league.

My manager paid for lunch for us and It was barely any salad 🥗 in the bowl, I had to pick out brown lettuce which wasn’t cool, my avocado was brown too!!! The portion of the salad was just small. The salad wasn’t nasty, it was actually good I just wish I didn’t have to pick stuff out my salad. 😔 First time eating from here, not sure if would try it again.

I had the fish basket. It wasn't good. Over cooked and little. I will not be back. Sad, because it was a great place once. Service was good. Need better chefs.

It took a long time to get out food and when we did get it wasn't hot anymore.

Server was wonderful! Food was very salty though to the point it made my mouth feel swollen and like I was in the desert dying of thirst. I've had 5 bottles of water since then and finally feel back to normal. I'm a fan of seasoning and salt, but not to that point. Will try again because maybe they just got a little carried away with salting everything tonight...

Too expensive and poor quality. $20 for my fish meal and $8 for a small portion of chilli, I do not believe it would have been this way if we were able to sit in the restaurant. We got burgers and fries for the kids, that seemed to be okay, I highly recommend to not order to go!

Food was alright. Saturday Margarita night is a absolute rip off. $32 pitcher of what tasted worse than Costco marg mix. Not impressed in the slightest

The 3 way chili was horrible, there was no meat in it just tomatoey broth. The cuban bun was so hard parts of it were inedible. The place was busy so maybe we ordered badly.

Did a takeout order, and they left plastic on the cheese for my cheeseburger 😐. I don’t think I need to explain why I left a 1 star.

Went in tonight and got sat right away. Waited over 15 minutes, no server, no one even acknowledged our presence. They seemed unstaffed and unorganized so we decided to leave. Told the hostess and she apologized but did nothing about it.
