Foods are yummy! The ambience is nice. Dayla was so accommodating and friendly. She checks our table once in a while to make sure we have everything we need. We don’t even have to ask. Thank you! Glad we have Chuy’s now in NB!

Newly opened as of Feb/March 2024. Food was good we weren’t thrilled but nothing to complain about. We enjoyed the boom boom queso on happy hour special! Beef enchiladas and burrito bowl were good. Tex-Mex accurately describes the food. Our sever was attentive and helpful.

I would like for Matt the person who busses the tables to be recognized for a good deed. He noticed a young mother left her purse. He stopped what he was doing and took the purse to her. Most people now would have taken to the front for the mother to come back for it. Matt truly cared about the customer even though he was not the severe.

First time eating at this location. Everything was great except for the beans. Taste and texture seemed to be from a can. If food comes from a central kitchen they must have changed recipe b/c I don't remember an issue at the San Antonio store.

This place was great. I'm only giving it 4 starts because its a big pain to get to it. The entrance is in a very weird spot. The place was great and the docoration adds a lot to the enviroment. Food and service was great at well. The dip sauce was on point.

We love Chuys, and almost always have an exceptional experience. The food is delicious and always hot. Its sometimes a bit of a hassle to get all the things requested at once on the table but the staff works hard to bring the missing things In a timely manner.

First time visiting this NB location. Service is excellent as is the ambience, the queso is out of this world…absolutely the best but the food itself tasted bland. I had the burrito, my husband had a combo platter. He too said his food was bland, particularly the ground beef, on both dishes. The portions are extra large, as expected in most any Mexican restaurant but again, the flavor was lacking.

Was really disappointed with this location. We happened to be in New Braunfels and decided to try this Chuys location. After a 20 minute wait for a table(not a big deal for Friday night) we sat at our table for 14 minutes before our waitress even came to greet us. Never have I had a Chuys staff member not quickly come to our table. Thankfully we knew what we wanted and ordered drinks and our food at the same time, because we didnt get additional chips until AFTER our food had arrived. The waitress was nice, but she was not very attentive. Other tables sat after us received their drinks and food very quickly, not us. We ordered chicken fajitas and they were incredibly dry. All in all, it was very disappointing and I would not go back to this location if in the area again.

I don't see why so many people think this place is so great. It tasted like something I can make at home. My only conclusion is that most people just don't know what GOOD food really is. Maybe because so many people eat fast food (which is like eating garbage), so I guess this would seem like "good" food to them.... But its average at best.... nothing special.

The food was good , but the service was terrible we were not greeted until 10 minutes after we sat down, just to be greeted by someone who was not our server. She grabbed our drinks and our appetizer. Then no one checked on us for another 10-15 minutes. We had no chips and needed drink refills . The manger came up to us and asked if had been helped to which I explained the situation, she then apologized but still did not give us drink refills. She proceed to take our order , but still no sign of a server. Eventually a girl came up to us and told us she’d be taking care of us and asked if we needed refills. But that’s all , then 10 minutes later , another girl came up to us claiming she was our server and that she’s been busy the whole time and apologized . We never saw her again. The previous girl got us the things that we needed but never asked of if we were okay or if we needed anything else. We ate and were waiting for to-go boxes but still no one helped us , we went to the host stand to get in contact with the manager where she said she would grab the stuff for us , but sends a server out there to do it for her. She dropped off the check and the to-go boxes. They did comp our appetizer, which was nice but definitely not enough for for four different people to do the minimum and two of them to claim to be our server. We were left super confused and frustrated. It felt like the people were only helping us because they saw the obvious frustration on our faces but they really didn’t care at all. By far some of the worst service I’ve had in a while and I’m a server myself so I get it , but I didn’t get this.

We placed a to-go order over an hour ago and had a very disappointing experience. Our order was missing items, and when we called to speak to a manager, no one has been followed up with us. To make things worse, the Taco Al Carbon steak was ice cold when we got it. After eating, both my husband and I started feeling sick. That’s extremely concerning. We’ve come to Chuy’s many times in the past and always loved it, which makes this even more disappointing. We really expected better quality and customer service. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed how we feel about coming back.

I ordered a pickup order on door dash…. Which makes the order very specific. I ordered custom enchiladas a with a side of beans and rice….. I got a burrito and ONE DROP OF BEANS. Then they put beans inside the burrito…. Obviously it’s still edible but how they royally messed up a simple order blows my mind. Service was also horrible while picking up. I called to let them know I was there and whoever answered the phone has ZERO manners or customer service skills and hung up the phone on me.

This place might be amazing, I'm sure it is, but I walked in an sat at the bar. 3 people were there and the bartender had one or two orders from in house. I literally sat there for 4 minutes, and no one said anything to me. My man swept, looked me in the eyes and still ignored me and went on with something more important. I left. It was so odd to care so little about the guests. Be busy, be slow, clean, do whatever but to ignore people on top of that is a little too much. Just be better

Worst chuys I’ve ever been to. Our waitress was cool and kept apologizing for the wait but this was absolutely ridiculous. I understand that it’s Friday and usually that means the place is packed. However, my girlfriend and I waited for 45 minutes to get a table, then when we finally got a table we had to wait two hours for food to even come to our table. And guess what? The food never even showed up! But everyone else around us got their food and ate and left before us. Again it wasn’t our waitresses fault she was wonderful and kind but everything else was horrible. We left without food. So my suggestion is if you want to stop and get food at this specific chuys restaurant don’t expect to actually get food. Instead you’ll sit waiting for practically three hours. Would give zero stars if possible.
