Of all the places in central Texas I've gotten breakfast tacos this is my favorite and they serve them all day. The drive thru can get a little busy but they usually get you through in a decent amount of time.

Went to visit my daughter for the weekend and ate at this Mexican restaurant. Being that I’m from the RGV, it’s hard to find any good, “real” Mexican food anywhere up north from the valley. But their food was great! Real authentic Mexican food! I loved it! Definitely will be eating there again when I visit! :)

The best Tex-Mex in the New Braunfels area. They also have great margaritas with an excellent price this is the the place to go. To tie it all together they also have great service, I wish I could eat here every day. I have been to the others in the area this one won my business hands down.

BEAUTIFUL and CLEAN restaurant... excellent service, staff attentive, and courteous. It is seat yourself ... to be clear, this is NOT fast food, the food is cooked to order, so it takes a while for your meal to come out. DEFINITELY worth the wait!

Their breakfast tacos as well as their lunch menu is great. Good food & good salsa . Best part no loud blaring music. Has a bar with mixed drinks & beer & some tvs throughout as well. They are only open till 2pm .

Love this family owned and operated restaurant! Came here for the last 12 years. I was here when the grandparent transfered ownership to the grandkids. They are very nice they have some new waitresses that are very nice and sweet. They changed their hours due to covid and operate from 6am to 2pm. We always get breakfast tacos when ever we can. Their meals and tacos are good portions and pricing. I very much enjoy them and are thankful for a close homie comfurt food restaurant.

Good place for breakfast. But DON'T order the beef fajitas. Very tough. I couldn't eat them all. Could barely chew them enough to swallow. The flour tortillas were tough also. I'll stick with breakfast from now on.

1st time here. Friendly and quick to greet wait staff. Affordable. Menu. Wait staff knew al,ost all the guests. Sauce on enchiladas had a touch of bite. Best tortillas I have ever had.

They’ve been here so long, and make such good food they can close by 2 — that should tell you something. Go eat there. Tip well. Enjoy good food. I was born here - I’ve been to 27 countries (2 weeks minimum) and this is TEX MEX And it’s the best. If you’re from California, or somewhere other than here, enjoy authentic food. Don’t criticize what you can’t understand.

Love this place came two days in a row. Yesterday had lunch, everything is fresh and the red salsa is to die for!! Came back for breakfast this morning and was not disappointed. Tacos are a little smaller than I hoped for but honestly the freshness of everything makes up for it. I can’t get enough of that red salsa!! 10/10 would recommend to everyone!!

I had one of the best taco salads ever yesterday!! Love the bowl it seemed to be a flour tortilla instead of the typical corn which was awesome the ingredients were fresh and just the right size. Do not like the hours as I would love to come in for dinner, I will be coming back with friends for sure thank you!

Found out about this amazing taco joint through my lyft driver who raved about their breakfast tacos. Since I happened to be up before noon decided to see if he knows tacos or not. I only got two small tacos but they were very filling and delicious. Great customer service and some very good sweet tea to boot. I'll be coming back here again!

You know it had been YEARS since I'd been there. The last time I was there, it came off as very dirty, BUT we went, and it had been REDONE. Beautifully, I may add. CLEAN...FOOD WAS AMAZING...THE STAFF, We had such an awesome waitress and definitely will be going back again.

Ordered chicken fajita enchiladas and beef fajita enchiladas and both were delicious. Meat was soft and juicy. Only bad thing is they close at 2pm. Excellent quality food. Definitely recommend it.

People have mixed feelings about this place and to be honest I can’t blame them sometimes it can be worse then others but usually it’s pretty decent and the taco prices have gone down a little although that’s all I ever get there and I get the super tacos. It’s more expensive but they are huge and when I get them they always pack them full. I think it’s pretty good. Mine is only $10-20 because I get more then 2 super tacos because I can eat a lot but it’s worth it.

Mostly I go for the breakfast tacos. Fresh doughy tortillas and they're not shy with the filling (egg, potato, etc). So good. Every time.

Tacos were really stuffed full. Tortillas tasted homemade. Hot sauce was so so. We had bean and cheese. Tasted average.

As an appetizer my wife and I shared the queso. It was not runny and had some vegetables in it. Quite tasty. I had the grilled stuffed avocado which was good. Reasonable prices. Not much atmosphere.

Simple yet delicious food. I believed they changed their hours though so I would call before you go. They have vegetarian options! I also think they have some of the best beans in New Braunfels, nice and smooth with lots of flavor.

The food was edible. The double rum and coke tasted like coke. The best thing I found here was a very attentive server...Amy. You just can't find a better person than Amy for customer service. I might go back just because of her.

Marina's was recommended by Steve at QuickAlign up the street (a great place to take your car). Just a really good breakfast while we waited for the car to be done. Solid pancakes and eggs.

Marinas have always and will always be my essential stop for breakfast. They have always delivered consistent delicious breakfast since 2008 when I discovered the location. The service has always been impeccable and food has always been perfect. I personally am fond of the Bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast tacos.

After living in New Braunfels for over 15 years we finally decided to try this place out. We now go here for breakfast quite often. Never a disappointing meal. Will be coming back more often then not. Fast, friendly good food. Their fresh tortillas are awesome.

Cute little taco shop good food nice environment reasonably priced. The employees are very nice and are very tentative to the customer's needs. The film tastes fresh and hot and made me want to come back for more. It's a nice little meeting area for moms after they drop off their kids at school.. 😂

This place has some really good food. My wife and I stop in after we finish working in the mornings and get breakfast tacos and the carne Casada is really tender and full of flavor..ive only had their breakfast tacos but as good as they are im sure the plates are just as good . The place is clean and getting food out is pretty quick. The only problem I've had is the lady working the drive thru can't understand me too well because I have to repeat my order a couple of times each time I go there but in the end she gets it right. So overall I am happy with their food and service and would recommend for ur future hunger needs..

Prices are great and food was pretty yummy. Mixed drinks were a little weak and tasted tangy. Shredded chicken was very moist and flavorful. Salsa is refreshing. Plates has enough food but we're not overly loaded up. I enjoyed this place and will definently be back again. It was off the main area of town so had less tourists.

Food was excellent. Service was slow. Slow to take our order, slow to bring the food, and I had to go track down a waitress to get a coffee refill. Perhaps they were just short-handed that morning (11/22/23).

I judge Mexican Restaurants by their hot sauce, their margaritas and their nachos. With happy hour practically all day ($2 (pretty good) margaritas on Tue) you just complain there. Hot sauce and nachos were fair, service was excellent. Atmosphere wasn't that great... I want to come back for breakfast (to go) before I pass judgment but there are other as good or better choices in NB when you're craving Mexican food

It's annoying that they ask for tips at drive thru while you are paying, they put you on the spot and low key silently shame you. Just put a tip jar and don't ask. Other places do the jar. Carne gusida and tortillas are good tho.

Scale 1 - 10 Rice= 4. Looked good but strange flavor Beans 5. Average Tortilla 2. flour way too thick and heavy no flavor cook is off Salsa 6. Seemed like it was a mix w tomato sauce from a can. But somehow more flavorful than I thought. Tea. 4 Enchiladas 9. Cooked evenly throughout and consistent soft texture top to bottom good flavor and sauce as well

First time eating at Marianas. I didn't enjoy my food at all, but tried to. My husband liked his tacos, but my egg and sausage croissant was speckled with egg Shells. Second bite I was thinking maybe it wasn't a shell, 2 more bites, then the rest of the croissant was shelled. The worst thing is crunching egg shells in scrambled eggs. The sausage wasn't a patty like you'd think would be on a sandwich, it was a few small balls of ground sausage speckled throughout, with unmelted shredded Cheese. It also came with what seemed like old or frozen potatoes. They had that chalky old bite to them. I quietly told a waiter after we paid that my eggs had shells in them and that they should know. She didn't seem concerned.

My family and I have been eating here for years and I have to say its a family favorite. I LOVE the chicken quesadillas. I always order them. The staff is so nice and attentive. Awesome tacos as well. Edit:2 They close early all the time now so my husband and I are no longer able to have dinner dates here. Sad, because we had our first date here. Edit:1 Ever since the renovation, there's been a lot of changes. The staff is friendlier and more attentive, the food seems the same to me, but the alcoholic drinks are not as good as they used to be. Joshua made badass drinks before. I'm not sure about now but the margarita I had recently was disappointing. Hopefully they're still working out the kinks and my next one will be great!

I ordered tripe soup which was good but it didn't impress me. Service was slow, we were on a 1 hour lunch break with colleagues and I had to hurry to finish before having to go back to work. Nothing really special here.

Pros: The tacos ($3.50?!) were made with homemade tortillas. Cons: Tostadas tasted like the $.99 ones from Walmart. The salsa tasted like cold enchilada sauce. The guacamole had no salt.

I was with a friend who's been here before, and I ordered ground beef puffy tacos. Much to my surprise, excited to have my first puffy taco experience, I received a plate with 2- 4" puffy discs topped with bland meat (not a lick of seasoning), shreds of lettuce, sprinkles of toms and a smidgeon of cheese... rice was dry, chip pieces/ends way too salty, but charro beans got a thumbs for an extra $0.50! Search continues for quality go back again and again local place... 😑

Food was tasteless, hardly any seasoning. Portions were very small.

Server was friendly. My husband enjoyed the menudo. I ordered the Carne Asada plate and it was not edible. The meat was grisly and chewy with no flavor. I called it to the servers attention but she did not rectify. $10.50 for a plate that could not be eaten. Not going back.

I waited 27 minutes for four tacos. Two bacon and egg and two beef fajita. One of the beef fajita had 4 very small pieces of beef on it. I like this restaurant and will try again. But, that isn’t acceptable.

Used to love coming here it was convenient and open later. It's now only open thru lunch. I had tea (2.75!)no refills and ONE house margarita (5.00!) Outrageous!(not in a good way)

Had the barbacoa and carne guisada tacos. Wasn't impressed with them. This is my rating of these particular tacos. Other options may be worth 5 stars don't know I have not tried them. But as for me, based on these two options I'm not returning.

Breakfast taco, not homemade tortillas, not allot of filling, hot sauce no flavor. Did feel great after eating there either. Husbands taco had to much moisture in it so it was wet and soggy. Will not return

This place just goes back and forth on being good/worth it. We stopped eating here for the longest time because the tacos were small and over priced. Finally, around 2019/2020 they improved, the tacos were bigger and tasted way better, especially the carne guisada. I've been out of the country for a while and just went back today and was super disappointed. The girl in the drive thru was pleasant and quick, but the tacos were the size of taquitos. Maybe 3-4 small pieces of potato in one of them, and the carne guisada was basically flat. Seriously so small it's not even funny. And it came out to $11 for 4 tacos?? This is insane. I know the pandemic has hit some people hard, but making small expensive tacos isn't going to fix your problem, because you'll just lose customers.

The food isn't inherently bad, but we'll get to that. The reason it gets 2 stars is the 25 minutes it took in the drive-thru for 2 breakfast tacos. Seriously, if I waited 25 minutes after ordering breakfast inside, I'd have been pissed; let alone the DRIVE-THRU! Now the food; it's about as mid as you can get. The type of breakfast tacos you'd expect your friend to make if y'all are staying at a guest house on vacation or something. Thin bacon to make it stretch, thin tortillas, plenty of egg though. All around, if you're in a hurry for mid-breakfast tacos, go literally anywhere else.

Drove up from San Antonio for a wake and stopped here for a quick coffee and breakfast taco. Unfortunately despite the restaurant not being busy it was nearly 25 minutes before I got my 1 taco. If you’re looking to spend a good hour just to eat this is the place for you. Wouldn’t recommend this restaurant unless you can’t make it to San Antonio for real Mexican food and service. 😴 hard pass.

This place sucks. Service and food are horrible. No one is smiling or friendly, they also take forever to bring your food. We ordered tacos. The bean and cheese tacos were cold and the barbacoa tacos were way too greasy.

Sat in the drive thru for 15 mins then when I got to the front this lady said we have a big order your food could take up to 30 min or more I just left

BEWARE!! Bought my son a gift card there for Christmas. He went to use it Jan 2nd and they said they no longer take gift cards. Why in the world would they sell me one a month prior? Won’t refund or honor. $25. Bad business!!

Food was very ordinary. Salsa was watery and without flavor. The Bloody Mary was like it came from a can. Not exaggerating. I complained to the manager and I heard her in the kitchen saying she couldn’t wait to get rid of my group.

I honestly dont knownhow this place has 4 stars. My son and I went there today and it was absolutely disgusting. I ordered the kids enchilada for my son and he didnt eat any of it after his first bite, so I tasted it and it tastes wierd. I ordered lunch time fajitas for 1. It was also gross and the chicken didnt taste right. It honestly tasted like it was frozen and they just microwaved it. The rice on both plates was so dry and looked like it was probably a couple days old. Needless to say we didnt eat our food but I dont like complaining so I paid and left we also didnt take anything togo it was a horrible experience.

Went to eat food was cold waitress never even smiles. So went back a diffrent day thinking maybe it was just bad day. So i order taco salad witress says do you want sour cream i say no she brings me a cold fajita plate. Tortillas were hard .wont be going there anymore.this place was a great place with friendly and smileing faces years ago. Very poorly proportion on my tacos, ordered 2 barbacoa tacos one regular and the other a special with avacodo and cheese. The portion was decent on the regular taco more or less 1/4lb and the special had more cheese and avacodo then meat which was only about 2tbl spoons of meat not what I expect out of a 4$ taco

Just ordered tacos from the drive thru, got home just to realize they're super thin and the tortillas are hard like they are stale and have been sitting. I haven't been here in years and I won't be returning ever again either.

Came to order some breakfast tacos for my work. Waited about 30 minutes for my order. Got back to the office and found that ALL of the tacos barely had anything in it. I paid almost 40 dollars for this food just to find that they want to skimp out on you. Kinda sucks that I tipped them just to receive bad tacos.

Not too impressed with our waitress giving the wrong change back. I tip well, but when they decide to take 6 bucks for themselves on a 45 dollar bill and only give me 9 bucks back before a tip, I'll refuse to return. Simple. She did well but in my opinion that is stealing, the tip is my call not hers. I will not be going back.

If you want to sit in the drive thru for 30 minutes this is the perfect place to go. I paid for my tacos, got tired of waiting and left. I could've sat down somewhere to eat and it would've been faster. I used to love this place but they've lost my business.

Paid $15 for 4 tacos. I don’t mind even paying $5 a taco as long as it’s good! The 2 bean and cheese tacos looked and tasted unpleasant. How do you mess up the easiest tacos on a menu. The fajita and carne asada tasted like they were made the day before and for the amount of meat in my taco definitely not worth the price. I’ve had better gas station tacos than this! I will say service was very nice. Used to like this place but it’s gone down hill.

The taco meat, has no flavor and has the consistency of cat food. The quesadilla was not a quesadilla It was just a taco that was smooshed a little. This place is no Bueno.

I come here often but today was the absolute worst service ever. I went to the drive-thru and placed my order. The lady then told me to hold on after it's already been 5 minutes and then I see her go to the front get on her phone text and make phone calls while my tacos are sitting in the window. I honked my horn trying to get their attention and was ignored. I shouldn't have to sit there for 15 minutes for two tacos
