A perfect little roadside diner. Super friendly server, and the food came our quick in spite of them being busy. The food was simple, honest, comfort food. I felt like I was sitting Grandma's kitchen table on the farm.

Really enjoyed the diner. Good homey atmosphere. Food is delicious, especially after traveling on the road for days, eating garbage. Service is not bad, a little slow but overall a great place for eat it you are in town.

My husband and I went here for dinner tonight. We were greated warmly and had our drinks in an instant. I had the Breakfast Burger and my husband had the Irish Skillet. The burger was awesome, hot and juicy. From the bun to all the components on the burger tasted fresh and full of flavor. I would definitely order this burger again. The Irsih Skillet is my husband's go to meal there he really enjoys it. Thank you for an enjoyable meal.

No frills breakfast cooked to perfection! Pancakes were delicious served with warmed maple syrup. Service can be spotty but if you hit it right, all is good.

I remembered this place from a long time ago. It was my Grandmother's favorite place, and the nostalgia was not the only reason to go. The food was awesome and the prices match. As diner fare goes, it was above par. The service was very attentive, and the food arrived very fast. Apparently they had some roof related water leak in the "sun room" and the area had a musty smell. It was clean, but very dated. I believe the age is part of the charm, but the smell was noticeable.

We had a nice lunch experience at Diner 63. The facilities are clean and look nice. Our server was very welcoming and friendly, and took and delivered our order promptly. Our food tasted great and had large portions, half of which we took home with us. This was a nice place to eat and we will certainly be stopping back here the next time we come through town.

I had the king burger on marble rye. Was really good. Just a tad dry. But good. First time eating there. My only negatives is the pie is not made there. The cinnamon rolls are. But they are not that great. The food was good tho

Great food, good attention and always trying to keep everything clean and safe.

It's a typical small town Iowa diner. There's no real theme to the decor, just a lot of food related nick-nacks stuck to the wall. The food is what you'd expect from a place like this. Some of it seems fresh, some of it seems to come in frozen on a truck. Last night we weren't very hungry so we just had pie. I'm pretty sure it was not baked fresh on site. Today we came in for lunch. My burger was good, but reminded me of the burgers I make at home when I buy preformed patties and I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked. The bacon was overdone and hard. All in all, it was a good burger, just not a great one. The fries were really good. My wife had French toast and really liked it. The service was almost non-existent. I realize places are going to be busy around church-gettin'-out time. And I saw the "help wanted" sign in their window. So, I was trying to be patient and forgiving. We did get in fairly quickly and ordered shortly after getting there. Our food came in a timely manner. Then, the service just stopped. It took ten minutes to flag the server down and request mustard. By now I had finished my coffee and asked for more. It was never brought. Even if I had to pay for another cup of coffee, that's fine. I would have done that. That wasn't even offered as an option. I just went ignored and ate my burger with no beverage. I noticed a table of folks who came in right after us didn't even get to order until we were finished. Another table near us waited a good ten minutes for a check that never came and they guys had to go to the register and let one of the servers know they were ready to go. I went up to the register as soon as they were done to save us from having to wait ten or more minutes before we could pay.

The service was decent, the waitress was nice and polite. The atmosphere was inviting, the restaurant was clean other than the salt from outside which is to be expected as they did a great job with salting the sidewalk and parking lot. I ordered chicken strips, the issue was they were more breading than anything as the chicken strips themselves were long and stringy with almost no meat at all. Glad I ordered more than what they normally give. The cheese curds were amazing, there were a couple cold ones though. Other than that, overall dining experience wasn't bad.

We stopped here cuz Klunder's was closed the day we were out cruising around. This place needs a face-lift badly and the food quality needs to improve. The food wasn't very good. The tenderloin was greasy and fatty. The bacon cheeseburger was a cheap, pre-formed, frozen patty. The staff was friendly. It's a place to go if Klunder's is closed cuz there aren't a whole lot of other options in New Hampton.
