What a place. Dozens of departments, all fully stocked with merchandise and employees. Very fresh foods, zalo workers extremely helpful. Has the feel of what I imagine the Lower East Side must have been like; the hustle and bustle, the huge assortments. Really upscale food store. Beautifully merchandised. The place makes you want to buy. Lots of parking, and accessible ♿️. Beautiful store.

Thank you sooo very much for always providing amazing food & service. I order for a department with over 150 people with different tastebuds and I don’t even get complaints when I order from Iavarone at New Hyde Park… Kevin, the manager & his wonderfully amazing staff always get our order to us and everything is delicious!!! Personally, when I order for my family & friends, everyone loves the food, pastries & want seconds. It’s always a pleasure to order from Kevin & all the absolutely outstanding staff from Iavarone Bros.

Been coming here for years and always have had tons of positive things to say about it until recently. Unfortunately there’s a very rude younger guy working at the prepared food area (where you take a number and pick out what you’d like). I ask one question and he made me feel stupid for even asking, after trying to ignore me. Such a shame because this is/was one of my favorite places to go! Multiple people have complained about the same guy. Other workers in this area have been super friendly and helpful, meanwhile this one obviously hates his job and makes sure all the customers are aware of it. On the other hand, the young cashiers are always so friendly and pleasant, along with all the other workers I’ve interacted with in this store!

Great quality baked goods and service. Some inconsistency with bread quality and fluctuating taste. For example the sourdough sometimes have holes the size of a tennis ball .

We find many products here that we like, and we've bought quality beef from their fresh meat aisle, but we're very disappointed with the fresh pork ribs that we bought here recently. Once opened at home, the pork looked and smelled as it should, but once cooking in the pot, it released an abnormally large amount of liquid- not fat, but water. Something isn't right.

Bought $20 boxed store made crumb apple pie and $12 danish ring with nuts. The danish ring was very dry and tasteless. The apple crumb pie was old and breaking apart and did not taste good. Have always been happy with purchases in this store in the past. Perhaps because it was Sunday the baked goods were old and not replenished with a fresh batch.

Just had a eggplant parm from Iverone. Was not very good. Not layered; a bunch of thinly shave eggplant with a little tomato sauce and a little mozzarella on top. Sandwich falls apart when you try to eat it. Calling it eggplant parma is a misnomer.

This store markets itself as selling fresh foods, which is incredibly disappointing given my recent experience. I brought home biscuits and cheese, and everything had mold on it. Completely unacceptable for a place that prides itself on quality. As a weekly customer, they’ve officially lost my business. This was a total waste of money and truly a shame. And let’s not even get started on the prices—you expect better when you’re paying a premium. Do better, Iavarone Brothers.

Horrible store and experience ever. We have used Ivarone from other locations to cater our events. We tried this New Hyde park location and it was an atrocious experience from beginning to end. First, the process to place the order was difficult to get someone on the phone as you cannot do it on-line. Second, our event was at 1pm and we were told the delivery window would be from 12:15pm-12:45pm. At 12:50pm no food arrived and we were told the driver was 5 minutes away. When no one arrived we kept calling and were told the same thing. The food left and will be there in 5 minutes. In the end, the food was delivered in two trips. First, the sandwiches arrived at 1:30pm and then all the salads and sides came at 1:40pm. Each set of drivers admitted they aren't the typical delivery people and the store clearly messed up this order as their kitchen was backed up. There was never an apology from the store manager or credit/discount of any kind. All we were told was "what do you want me to do?" It's unfortunate this location and management doesn't care about their customers or the reputation of the name they are destroying. Take your business elsewhere.

food quality has diminished, as has customer service. Not worth the price when better italian restaurants like Luigis and Dominic’s deli are nearby. BEWARE, food is also not the freshest

Grossly overpriced, especially with prepared foods and some employees behind that counter are. not very accommodating and one even nasty. Seems to me for those prices they shouldn't be. May take my business elsewhere! Hmph!

So for this thanksgiving like always I buy my apple tarts from there but the quality of the cakes have deteriorated. The crust is about an inch thin and let’s not mention the edges of it is about as big as the pie. They don’t give you no filling not the apples. Sad how bad this cakes have become but the prices have keep going up. I don’t mind paying more but keep good quality. Also the little apple tarts about two weeks ago they change the ingredients premade and lo quality. I used to buy me a cake every day at the store but I’ll stop buying them.

We just came here for the first time and spent roughly 250.00 worth of pre-made food. Everything look delicious from their pasta to their roasted chicken dish. I have very busy schedule, so when I saw their display of pre-made food I was very impressed and wanted to gave them a try. What a mistake ! I would think one or two dishes could be something I would not like but the whole thing was terrible ! Their pasta dishes were salty and smelled horrible like it was about to go bad. The roasted chicken was burnt and their rice tasted like plastic. None of their dishes had flavor or taste. Don't waste your money here. They only push out quantity and not quality. Which tells you that they only care about their money and not their quality or their customers health or taste. Thanks iavarone for wasting my money.

I expected the lobster sushi to have lobster inside. It has imitation crab meat and Crawfish tails. I don’t trust this place across the board. I won’t be coming back if they’re mislabeling supposedly-premium items. I came for the quality and didn’t taste any. Hate to give a 1 but there it is. Still craving lobster.
