I personally love a chilled red wine, but in the past when I have proposed it in a group of people, they look at me like I am Ghidorah. That’s the monster that gives Godzilla PROBLEMS for you nerds that don’t know. I have since stopped suggesting a chilled red, letting my social anxiety best me yet again. I came here with a newer friend, one of those friends that you feel you will really vibe with, but it is a bit too early to tell as some people lowkey be hella weird. When we were deciding what bottle to split, she looked at me across the 24x24 cherry wood table and asked if I like a chilled red. I felt a lifelong friendship budding right before my dark brown eyes. THANK YOU BIBI'S! ALPHABET CITY STAND UP!

Really great happy hour option for the lower east side! $8 glasses of wine until 8pm. They also have cute cheese boards and apps- everything is fairly priced.

This place is a perfect date spot or drink with a friend vibe. Great lighting. Cute seating options either at tables or at the bar. Great happy hour till 8! The wine list is 10/10. Food list is fine. Not super creative but a some good options for little snacks to accompany the drinks. Both dishes we ordered were yummy! The best part was the service. They were clearly understaffed that night (it happens!). But the one woman that was working there was killing it. Most efficient, most helpful, nice and fast service. Can’t wait to go back!

Enjoyable wine bar with a very nice selection of wines and small (but tasty) bites that go well with the wines. Atmosphere is fun and staff nice and diligent. Very reasonable pricing given the quality of wines. Highly recommended to spend some good time

Stopped by for afternoon wine. We got the happy hour bubbles and 2 cheeses. After some advice from the bartender changed our cheese choice (for the better) we really enjoyed both. It was pretty busy, but there was enough space. A great place to stop and we'll recommended. Definitely recommend the cheeses.

Cute little wine bar with great happy hour deals, wine was delicious. Food portions are small but expensive, so would not recommend dining here. But small bites are tasty.

This spot is a real gem in the EV. Top notch. Nice outdoor setup - A+ Great wine selection but that's not my area of expertise. Pigs in a Blanket - I'm not an expert in wine but I am an expert in pigs in a blanket. oh my god they're good. A+ Meatballs - really nice flavor, sauce was solid. Nice happy hour - $4 beer

Cute date spot w a nice happy hour (although the happy hour wine offerings aren't organic / sustainable, but they have those options on the regular menu). Nice cheese & charcuterie board options in increments of 2/4/6. Also all the cute dogs walk down this street so that's free entertainment.

Bibi has all of your favourite tapas. Plus some of their own unique creations. We sampled mushroom croquettes, gem salad, devilled eggs and artichoke flatbread. We enjoyed every dish. The pace of delivery was perfect. They will space it out if you ask. The wine selection was creative. Service from behind the bar was professional but not chatty. We liked their musical selection (Joy Division, The Smiths). Lighting is low (you might need your phone to read the menu). We had a very pleasant evening. Everything at Bibi clicked for us.

The best night!! We had incredible service, drinks and food from our server Bobby. we went during happy hour (every day until 8pm) had a bottle of wine and charcuterie board and it was incredible. The atmosphere is lovely and an all round great night, it was our last night in NYC and the waiter gave us a free drink to celebrate 🥹 Will definitely be coming back

This place is on the smaller side so it’s better for just 2-3 people versus a large group! It also gets really busy. I went on a weekday night for happy hour & our group of 4 had to wait a while for a table. The $8 glass of wine was good! Really enjoyed the patata bravas and felt it was a great portion size. A friend got the chorizo and it was also a great size & fun that it came on fire.

I am not sure if it was because she knew the 20% tip was going to be automatically added (auto gratuity when you make a reservation rather than walk in), but our server was extremely rude. No one had complained until the end of the dinner, then others revealed comments she had said throughout the meal. At the end, She brought out their dessert with candles on it (it was my birthday) and added it to my check, telling me it’s not complimentary (mind you we had spent $500+ at that point).

They will let you order wine right before they close and not tell you it’s last call, but then rush you out as soon as your drink arrives. They need a lesson in customer service and making people feel comfortable so they want to come back.

The food and drinks are cheap but there’s a reason why it’s so cheap Food - cheese was alright but the bread looked like a few days old, my chin hurt from chewing Service - asked if we could substitute goat cheese from the cheese board. Got a response from the waitress: “we dont swap here” Atmosphere - feels like a college/pregame bar
