Chinese noodle place along 2nd Ave in the UES. Prices are not bad given in Manhattan. Decent taste, actually great bang for your buck. Space is tight, 3 tables and a couple of bar / counter seating. Good for 2 people max. Most people buy to go or pick ups. They also have the choice of Egg noodle vs Rice noodle. I prefer Egg noodle over their rice noodle. Overall, reasonably priced noodle soup in the UES. Tight space, as they only have 3 tables.
The rice noodles here are incredibly delicious, and the atmosphere is very cozy. The rice noodles and the owner give me such a calm, comforting feeling. The beef rice noodle soup is wonderfully flavorful. I finished every last drop.
The best and most authentic Chinese beef noodle soup I’ve had in a long time. Flavorful broth, tender beef, and perfectly chewy noodles. The service was incredibly fast — they brought my food out within 10 minutes of ordering. Absolutely delicious. I would also recommend the bitter melon for hot summer days.
When I crave super authentic food from China, I come here. This place is super legit—the real thing. Nothing Americanized about any of the food here. The rice noodles—a specialty of Yunnan and Guizhou—are perfectly cooked. They have an incredible bounce! Think bucatini. The soup is also delicious and you can ask for no MSG without compromising the flavor.
If you want some authentic spicy Chinese noodles, this is the go to place. My favorite are A2 and B1.
Very cozy place and reminds me of my daily food in China. Super friendly and nice owner. She is very detail oriented and cares customers feelings. Also I noticed that she remembers her frequent customers. If you want to taste the authentic Chinese daily breakfast pho and noodles, here’s the place you definitely should go.
Small shop with great food and friendly staff. Menu is average, food comes in good portion sizes for what you pay. Have been to this location (ues) and have had a great experience each time. Accommodated me and a few coworkers before, always hot food and a good atmosphere.
No frills, hole in the wall kind of noodle shop serving up delicious food. The beef in the beef rice noodle soup was delicious and so tender, some of the best I've had.
No frills type of spot, but food was authentic (according to my partner) and filling. Prices were fair for the area. Owner was friendly.
Love their rice noodles! Beef and spicy chicken are both good. There’s another branch near Flatiron and i’m happy they just opened this one here

Fast service and the food was great! My beef noodle soup was excellent. Noodles were cooked perfectly, beef was tender, and the broth was flavorful!
Absolutely delicious gluten free beef tripe soup - I got it mild and added chilli oil (provided at tables) to taste. 10/10
Highly recommend this place!! Authentic as they come in the UES. The broth and the noodles were delicious!! Perfect for a cold day to warm up!
The most legit chinese in the neighborhood - absolutely delicious food served by wonderful, kind people. What more could you ask for

I got the beef bowl, scallion pancakes and wonton soup. The beef noodles and pancakes were yummy, but the wontons were fabulous! The wraps were silky, the filling was flavorful and the broth was delicious. I have been searching for wontons that reminded me of my mother’s and these were spot on. I will definitely be ordering these again.
It my first time coming to their new location in UES. I have tried them several times in midtown. I ordered sesame sauce cold noodles and chicken with chili sauce today. Compared to the other location, the cold noodles were too sweet for me, and the fragrance of the sesame sauce is not strong enough. As for the chicken, it was actually much better than the other location. I remembered looking for water after eating it at the other location, because they were too generous with the MSG. However, this time at the new location, it was very delicious. The chicken was tender, and I was able to taste the chili oil and the chicken itself. Overall, it was a nice place to grab a bite.
New Chinese noodle shop from this mini chain. Affordable. Beware of the „authentic“ amount of spice used in the soup dishes. Mild spicy is already enough to make your eyes shed a tear. Menu has interesting options (intestines, tongue). Soups come with either rice or egg noodles. Tripe soup was excellent. Cucumber salad a bit basic. Cold sesame noodles great, could have had some more sesame and soy sauce. There are only 9 seats and it’s not a place where you would want to stay long, but it’s probably a place where takeout will be the majority of their business anyway.

Sorry to report that the noodle soup here was honestly mid at best. The staff were very nice and friendly, however the beef noodle bowl I had lacked flavour and the meat seemed of poor quality. It was filling and priced reasonably but for taste, it unfortunately didn’t satisfy.

The broth wonton was tasty, but they were skimpy with the broth. The container was only filled about 70 percent. The scallion pancake was fine, but the portions were very small and thin. Not sure if I would go back, maybe only if I were really sick and needed soup.

Ordered the beef tripe noodle soup. Only 3 measly pieces of beef. Very disappointed I paid $15 for this
Horrible and rude service. Its so disappointing and such a shame that this place has such good reviews yet today my father came back from working in construction and told me that he came into this place after work because he hadn’t eaten the whole day telling me that out of excitement he wanted to try the soups here because it looked very great just to get discriminated because he didn’t look the greatest since he had just came out of work. Now we are Hispanic and what is going on in this world is just so sad with ice and discrimination. It makes me very upset that just because my dad wasn’t in his best look that he was denied service and food because they thought he couldn’t afford the food.My father is the best father I can ask for and has worked very hard to support me in life and he’s a positive person with a good heart and it’s such a shame that a woman working here made him feel less than he is just because she thought he didn’t have money even after he told her he did and to recommend the best soup of theirs, she still kept asking him about payment .It wasn’t until another Hispanic man came to his defense and my dad took out his phone to show that he can pay that they allowed him to order food and get service but he had already been shamed infront of all the costumers and was made less than what he is.They thought he was too poor or homeless I guess but this man has done everything in his power to have me have the best life I can by working so hard,he’s so selfless that he would prioritize me over himself and is a very respectful guy which has caused him to get taken advantage of so many times. It makes me sick to think that some random people made him feel like poop based off their own judgment when he has worked so hard to make it out in this world.Shame on the staff who did this and I hope they fix their manners and behavior and learn to be more professional.Even then to treat someone so terrible just cause of a judgment just tells what kind of person you are.I don’t even look at homeless as less then human I’ve helped them by buying them food because my dad raised me to be such a good person to never think less of others nor treat them inhumanly just because they don’t have what we have and thats what sucks about this experience.I truly hope no one experiences this situation when coming here but I’m here to advise how they might think of people and will treat you if you don’t fit the image they want . Another thing was that she kept trying to talk to him in Spanish probably in a mocking way but my dad said that he was speaking to her in English but since he was Hispanic she kept forcing Spanish and wasn’t even talking it properly it was just to mock him I guess .
Don’t bother. I had dry beef noodles. Bok Choy was cold. Skimpy bowl of noodles. Scallion pancakes were terrible. I was the only person in there and there were no pick up or deliveries.
