I come here very often for a good reason. One critique is that on some days ingredients are more fresh than others and they taste that much better—and during the week is better (on the weekend grilled chickens are always over cooked). But in general there is so many variety of vegetables (super greens, variety of pickled veggies, & roasted veggies) you get on a bowl that there is nothing else like it in other places so far. I also think this CAVA location is better than the others—it also has a good seating with a good view of NYC streets.

The food quality here is outstanding, and the team behind the counter is just as amazing. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, greeting with big smiles that made both the food and my day better. I especially loved the salad bowl and spicy pita—everything tasted fresh and prepared with love. Highly recommend!

Pretty good food, good portions, and the server/cashier was really nice! He was funny, patient, and explained all the options, and made recommendations. I visited on a Sunday night and they still had plenty of food. Food: I ordered a custom bowl with hummus, crazy feta, meat, cheese and veggie toppings, and pita on the side. I used Skhug (a little spicy) and Tahini dressings. The Skhug and harrissa aren't for those with sensitive tummies. Plenty for vegetarians and vegans alike! Roasted veggies, hummus, lentils, cheese, falafel, bread, greens, veggie toppings, avocados, pita chips, and some dairy-free sauces. Atmosphere: It's Herald Square so the shop is small, with efficient counter-style seating against the windows. Some customers are messy and leave food/refuse behind.

Come here for Mediterranean chipotle. Food is amazing. Taste great. Feels great. No complains. There is little seating but you don’t come here for atmosphere. Take the food elsewhere. I’d eat here daily though

My favorite bowl place, healthy, tasty and very filling for about $13. We always get the build your own bowl and I strongly recommend it. If you aren't super hungry, it can be made in to potentially two meals (at least 1.5). They have some seating inside and a few desserts. They have 5 bases (black lentils is my favorite), 7 proteins (we usually get half and half), 8 dressings and 10+ toppings. Hard to go wrong here.

Came to have some affordable, warm and healthy food. It was a right choice. Ordered two salads, got them directly, they were very tasty. We paid 30 usd for both. Otherwise, the place has some seats inside, quite spacious, no queue on the Friday evening. Can absolutely recommend the place.

This was my first experience with the chain and I have to say the food was pretty good! My only complaint is that it was not immediately clear where to start the ordering process at this location, but that is an easy signage fix. The minimal onsite seating was full, so I took my order to go and at at a nearby square. The prices reflect local market rates, but were this restaurant in a less expensive market, my opinion of the value for money would be higher.

Food is great but we’ve ordered them for delivery three times and 2 out of three times they got our order wrong. The first time they didn’t give us an entire meal in our order, second time they gave us chicken when we asked for falafel (we don’t eat meat). When we called to rectify the order they just don’t answer the phone. I would have them again but only in restaurant. I doubt we will order for delivery again.

I wanted to like this more than I did. The concept is good—build your own Mediterranean bowl with fresh ingredients. And when it’s done right, the harissa chicken and crazy feta are genuinely flavorful. But my experience was all execution problems. Bowl was barely half-full for almost $20. Lamb meatballs were overcooked. The staff seemed overwhelmed and disinterested—one person working the entire line while others stood around. The assembly felt rushed, ingredients were sloppily thrown together. It’s a chain trying to be the “healthy Chipotle” but without the consistency that makes those places work. Maybe other locations are better? This one felt like it’s coasting on the concept rather than delivering on it.

We tried Harissa Avocado Bowl and vegetarian-friendly Falafel Bowl. Harissa Avocado Bowl was good and filling, but we were very disappointed with Falafel Bowl. For a price of nearly $19, we expected more than just two falafels, and felt like a rip-off. We felt cheated with that. Falafel Bowl tasted good, but not worth the price! This restaurant has only about six chairs, so it can be very difficult to find a place to sit, especially during busy hours. Customer service could be more friendly. Based on our experience, we will not be returning to this location.

This salad traveled from nyc to nj... all for nothing... I bowl full of vinegar... I couldn't eat it after I starved all day... never again... garbage

This location is extremely hectic during lunch hours. If you order pick up, it will not be placed in a bag. Your order will be sitting out on the shelves for anyone to tamper with and your sauce ordered ‘on the side’ will likely be snatched by someone who doesn’t want to pay extra for their own. You then have to disrupt the register worker which delays the line. I ordered 2 bowls for pick up that had the exact same contents. However, one bowl was missing rice and the other bowl seemed to have 2 scoops of sauce instead of 3. My bowls were also in separate places even though ordered for the same pick up time. I specifically asked for utensils on the app, but that didn’t matter because my food wasn’t even placed in a bag. I do not recommend this place unless you go when it’s empty and the workers are in a good mood. I would like a refund of the total of one order. I’m completely dissatisfied and disappointed. Bowl on the left has no rice. Bowl on the right has rice and barely any Tzatziki
