Good bar, it's all about the vibe. And it's not what can be faked with loud music or pretentious bartender. When it's the right one, you just can tell instinctively. The staffs here are cheerful and polite. Things taste great. People seem to be happy whatever they've been up to--from watching their weekend match to enjoying one's solo dining. It's all thanks to the place that's got the right vibe.

George Keeley is a great bar for craft beers and excellent pub food. Their double-fried wings are the best in the city. Excellent fried pickles. Fantastic GK Standard Burger with barbecue and a fried onion as toppings. For wings, the spicy buffalo, Thai-chili, and jerk are the most popular sauces.

a nice upper west side bar for beer geeks, free popcorn and good service. One of the best Guiness pints i've had in the city.

Generally a great spot for typical American fare. Nothing fancy - but good as well as consistent. Prices are pretty good for NYC. Good beers and nice atmosphere.

A Booth

Eaten here a few times and whether it’s a burger, wrap, or the appetizers food has always been good quality for bar food. Buffalo cauliflower is more of a dry rub and then you dip in buffalo sauce. Our table was divided on if we liked it, but I liked it. Wrap has a good size, but would maybe have had the chipotle mayo on side so I could dip instead of in the wrap. Wasn’t so much that it was soggy but was a lot of aioli in the wrap. Most important part - solid beer selection and digital menu lets you keep track of what’s available or running out.

What a bar! They have their beer selection up on Lcd! They also have a really solid selection of beers. Premier League games are played on screens. They have solid vego options and all sorts of tasty food. I went with the vego burgers and fries.

Has a good selection of beer and bar snacks (fries, jalapeño poppers, chicken tenders, etc.) The sweet potato tots are amazing. The burgers gk standard burger is average. A little too dry and nothing special. Service is friendly but not fast when it starts to get crowded.

I’m interested to know the bar’s view on what’s an acceptable tip when ordering drinks at the bar (i.e. no table service), as we were accosted on exit for ‘only’ leaving $13 for 13 drinks on the check (and 20% for the one item of food delivered to the table). Sour end to the visit. It’s a shame, as otherwise it’s a great bar.

Food was decent. Atmosphere was questionable. The playlist was not matching with the sports vibe. The waiter never gave us our samples of the rose drink they had so we could order actual drinks. Would we go back probably not

I got to the bar before my friend and ordered a soda. I can’t have alcohol right now for personal reasons anyway, but my friend drinks. My friend ran 20 minutes late. While I waited, I drank the soda and browsed my phone, (there were open seats as well, I wasn’t keeping people from getting served) then a couple other patrons sitting right beside me started making fun of me to the bartender for ordering a soda and using my phone. They said, “don’t you hate it when people do that? Just go to a library, why are you here? The worst! Etc etc”He agreed and joked with them. I know for sure they were talking about me because I ended up glaring and one of the guys said sorry. I was minding my own business. I’d have left except for my friend. It was a shocking experience. Very unprofessional and antagonistic of the bartender as well. Weird and off putting, will not return and will recommend my friends to avoid in future.

Food was average pub food. But our server seemed annoyed every time we ordered something and he charged me for hot water FROM THE TAP and a lemon slice??? I asked for hot water and a lemon and he charged me for a “nite lite.”
