I was here for an event (Portugal Tourism) and the event was SPECTACULAR! Food was excellent and service was personable to say the least. Servers know exactly what they're doing and I hope they tried the black pepper steak and fries because they are amazing. Somehow the carrots were the star of the whole show and I didn't think I liked carrots all that much?!?! Thanks for a great evening Le Marais!

I don't leave full reviews very often but this place exceeded any expectations I've had walking into any restaurant. I've dined at establishments where the final bill was double what I paid here, with service that was half the quality of Le Marais'. The employees here really do go above and beyond to make the experience enjoyful and pleasant. The food is great for the price, and the alcohol matches what you'd pay at other establishments in Manhattan. If you're going to drink multiple glasses of wine, I'd get a half bottle because it will save you alot of what two single glasses would cost you. All in all 100 percent recommend this place and I will be coming back.

Dinner was great! I went here two nights in a row and ordered the exact same thing. I got the steak au pauve and it was perfect! I ordered a double salad instead of salad and fries and the second night they sent me double fries instead of a salad. They did give me salad after I mentioned the mistake. The first night, they burnt something in the kitchen, the fire alarm went off and the fire department ended up coming. They didn't have us leave the restaurant but it was very loud. I would still go back and enjoy the experience, even with the small issues I had. You should definitely check this place out

I had an amazing experience at Le Marais Steakhouse! The atmosphere was warm, classy, and inviting — perfect for both a night out with friends or a special dinner. The service was outstanding — attentive without being overbearing. The food was absolutely incredible! The steak was cooked perfectly — juicy, flavorful, and tender — easily one of the best I’ve had in the city. The sides and sauces complemented everything perfectly, and the dessert was the perfect finish to an unforgettable meal. I came with my son to NYC for his birthday and we went to a few resteraunts and we decided to rate them based on different categories. 1. Environment and Ambiance: we gave this category a 1 out of 5 or 3 out of 10. Its not nice. Some might call it cozy. We dont. You are sitting close enough to your neighbors and neighbor's neighbors that everyone can hear each other's conversations and there is no privacy. It does not have a feel of a high end resteraunt. Depending on where you are sitting you might fee like you are in a public thoroughfare. 2. Qaulity of food: I got a hangar steak and my son got a center cut. Both were pretty good. Its not a 5 star because first, my prior experience was not great, second, we only had a few things ever to be able to tell the consistency throughout the menu, and third each bite of the center cut was a different experience. It was not very consistent, but still good. The actual qaulity of the meat seamed good. 3. Presentation of food: My son says 3 out of 5. I give it a 2.5 out of 5. The plates were big so they just filled it with lettuce and fries. Not very like a 5 start experience. I know I'm in an upper class resteraunt and expect smaller portions (very large portion for hangar steak) and more effort on presentation. 4. Speed of food: 4 out 5! We recieved our food very fast. That could be because it was not so busy, but either way we had a good experience. 5. Qaulity and speed of service: i cant give a 5 out of 5 but less than a 3.5 out of 5 would mean it was bad service. It was not bad, but it was as expected. It definitely did not exceed expectations but you won't be disappointed; but you likely won't be impressed. OVERALL: It was a good meal but not where I will run to for 5 star dining. If you are in the area and want to check it out I recommend it as its also fairly priced compared to its competition. Until next rime.

However, while perfectly acceptable, the dishes were generally average in execution. They lacked a distinct flavor profile or culinary innovation that would elevate them above the norm. In summary: A solid choice for a reliable kosher meal with very good service and a nice setting, but perhaps not the destination for an exceptional gastronomic experience.

I’ve been going to Le Marais for years and my last experience was subpar at best. We started with the lamb chili, the charcuterie board, sliders and the lamb kebab I didn’t try the sliders but I heard from other people that they were quote “not that good” when it says wagyu I expect high quality meat and the sliders didn’t taste like high quality meat. The thing I did have were the delicious chili that was just amazing so good but all the other appetizers weren’t amazing and I wouldn’t get them again like the charcuterie board was not good at all and the lamb kebab it just didn’t taste like something I couldn’t make an home. After the appetizers I got a ribeye which was my least favorite part of the meal. It was unevenly cooked and didn’t have that many good flavor but I did have the privilege of trying the entrecôte which was very good. Listen the best part about Le Maris is how they had kept their prices but the food was ok at best

Mother here. Was in NYC w my 2 daughters. Casually walked in after overhearing a couple walking out say their meal was wonderful. Was told it would be a 10 min wait. My daughters (25 and 10 yo), waited near host stand while I walked up to the bar to get a drink. I was completely avoided by the bartender! AND, I was the only individual standing there!! Not a "I'll be with you in a moment" or any other acknowledgment of my presence. It wasn't until we were sat in the back that I realized we were in a kosher steakhouse! Which was totally fine by me, but most definitely not fine by the other guest or staff! We were never greeted. I just assumed we went during a private event. Maybe they were not accepting "non-Jews" on this particular night! I still have no clue!!! I didn't know what to "feel"! Perhaps, it was my fault for walking in without realizing! I've never been more uncomfortable in my life! It was like a bad dream where you're naked in public!!! My 10 yo daughter was so confused! The glares we got from the other customers were just awful!!! We went here for dinner, this restaurant is horrible, the staff are so beyond rude and the service is so slow, we were basically ignored by all the staff members, it was basically a hunt to get anyone to take our order. The meat was good but the fries and salad had no flavor, and for the price is definitely not worth it. It might be more worth it if the staff weren’t so rude and lazy.
