We really enjoyed our meal at Patsy’s. The pizza was unique and very good. Love the thin crust. Also got ravioli with vodka sauce and it was delicious! I love the sauce!! Also thought the prices were very reasonable, the service was good, food came very quickly, and we were not rushed at all.

I go to Patsy’s basically every week. For the price, you legit can’t find a better slice in the city. Sorry dollar (50) slices. With that said, here are my other comments. 1) If you go it’s CASH ONLY. There’s a reason it’s been in business for longer than you’ve been alive. 2) If you only have card, my suggestion is uber eats. You can pay and pick up or just pay and deliver even if you live close by. 3) Eat it fresh and hot. It’s not bad by any means if you air fry it or put it in the oven but it just ain’t the same as getting a fresh slice out the fire. 4) If you don’t like your crust super crispy or burnt beware sometimes it is like that and just ask (KINDLY) for a different slice or a fresh one 5) Personally, minus the one pepperoni pie I got on New Year’s eve, I would say getting a slice 9/10 times tastes better than the pie. IDK why that is but that’s just how i feel. Obviously a pie is a better deal (8 slices for 26 bucks VS 2.50 per slice) but if it’s just for you, get the slices. 6) Price and slice, again this is one of the best in nyc and don’t let none of these terrible reviews (there aren’t many) deter you!

I went to New York with my family and went to eat this pizza that was recommended to me and I want to tell you that this delicious original is not like commercial pizzas, this is real with a unique flavor, I recommend it.

The reviews and the experience definitely line up. Pizza was delicious and it is a cool little spot. It feels like an old school New York pizzeria vibe. I want to emphasize the fact that the pizza and his experience here is amazing especially with the ambience of the building. The staff was very friendly, and the food was super delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and it is worth going out of your way to stop by. but make sure to bring cash because it is cash only my friend. definitely this place is worth all five stars that it deserves. Here’s 25 star stars thank you Patsy’s.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the best pizza in NYC. Thin crust . And I'm a lifelong New Yorker. 18-inch pie only. No slices. This is the original location, no franchise.

We've eaten hundreds of Patsy's pizza's over the last decade and you cannot go wrong no matter what you order. We drop in from the busy sidewalk to the pizza shop and get plain and peperoni pizzas that they make in front of your face and then turn around and throw it into a coal fired brick oven. Classic people and food. It's legendary as you know and they consistently deliver the best pizza we've ever eaten. Predictably fast and deeply satisfying. We love Patsy's all the more for the people. We've eaten every combination of pizza you can imagine over the last decade and a majority of them by far are made by the same small team of people making it happen. They're cranking all the time but make it look easy. The dine in experience we have enjoyed and made a point to take visiting friends and family because it is quintessential. It's still a lay-low, quiet and intimate place to take in some serious cuisine. This isn't food to be shoveled down and it's not the kind of place to do it. All prepared by neighborhood folks who care about every detail and make you feel like expected friends when you arrive.

This is one of the best Pizza’s I ever had. It’s very light so when you’re done eating you don’t feel that weight. The flavor was absolutely amazing, my go2 place when I’m in the area. Pic and disc included

Great chew and sauce albeit some flop. I’m getting a whole pie for myself next time. Can’t believe I slept on patsys for so long!

The OG location of Patsy's still cash only, with a slice shop counter nrxt door serving those on the go. A old school dining room adorned with pictures of celebrities and local community. The service can be a bit slow at times as the slice shop is generally more busy during the day. The portions are generous, price very reasonable, athough recently has gone up a but along with a redution in menu item. I would take here over the midtown spots with different owners anyday.

Saturday for lunch. Transported to the 60s. Two bottles of ice cold Blue Moon, check! Appetizers: Muscles and stuff class, triple check! Bread for dipping the soupy garlic-e sauces from the apps, nice check! Then the gem of lunch: 16 pie, cheese with pepperoni, sausage, fresh garlic, topped with arugula! Heaven! Our server: Jason. Spoke of history of Patsy, nostalgia, movies and life in general living in Manhattan! If you come across him, say "hi". A warm fellow and down to earth!

Pie at the takeout place, and I'm not sure which restaurant this is reviewing, the pizza joint or the sit-down Italian next door also called Patsy's. Pie was great, but I wanted to try a meatball but he would only sell me a whole meatball pie even as I was his last order of the night. So I got meatball pizza instead of pepperoni which is what I really wanted. Meatballs not worth a detour but the pizza is.

Patsy’s really is New York’s best pizza, dough to cheese to sauce ratio is perfect. The crust doesn’t flop. We have never been the only customers there! This is the walk in pizza shop next to the restaurant. This place gets so much foot traffic your pizza will definitely be fresh to order( has been every time; we go at least 1 a month)! Everyone seems happy here, the employees and the customers !

A Slice of New York History with Every Bite Walking into Patsy’s Pizzeria feels like stepping into a time capsule of classic New York charm. With its vintage black-and-white photos lining the walls and the scent of coal-fired pizza wafting through the air, Patsy’s isn’t just a pizzeria—it’s an experience. The pizza? Pure perfection. The crust strikes that elusive balance between crispy and chewy, with just the right char from the coal oven. Each bite carries a whisper of smokiness that only a true New York institution could deliver. The Margherita is a must-try—fresh mozzarella, vibrant tomato sauce, and fragrant basil laid atop a crust that could make you weep with joy. Simplicity done flawlessly. But it’s not just the pizza. The atmosphere hums with a casual, welcoming energy, whether you’re a local grabbing a quick slice or a tourist on a pizza pilgrimage. The staff is friendly, efficient, and passionate about the pies they serve. There’s something magical about the way Patsy’s bridges generations—older patrons reminiscing about decades past, and younger ones creating their own memories. If you’re a fan of pizza (and let’s be honest, who isn’t?), skipping Patsy’s would be like skipping the Statue of Liberty. It’s not just about the food—it’s about history, culture, and a love letter to the art of pizza-making. Patsy’s Pizzeria isn’t just a meal—it’s a slice of New York itself. Five stars. No question.

While the fried calamari that my partner had was very good, the cheeseburger that I ordered, not so good. The meat and the bun and all were fresh and good, but while I preferred medium it didn't exactly come out that way even after two tries by the kitchen. Their version of medium came out as raw red meat on the first bite. They took it back but and brought out another and although half was close to medium the other half was rare bordering on raw. After eating the good half I gave up and filled up on the fries (average). I pointed this out to another server but nothing was offered in terms of a discount or comp so we just paid and left. Had better luck with the bar drinks, fwiw.

I absolutely loved the feel good vibes at WAPPINGER FALLS location ! The "Frank Sinatra" was delicious, however could have had one more slice of prosciutto! The combination is best fitted to the name !

Historical pizzeria from the 30’s. I liked the New York pizza here that is cooked in coal oven and the dough was well cooked and tasty. Pizzas are huge but let you eat them, not heavy at all. Suggested if you want to have dinner in a historical place full of photo from the past. Host is very nice. Bring cash since this is a cash only place!

I will start by saying I have always loved Patsys. For years their pizza was the best bar none for me. For some reason that magic was gone this time. For the first time my wife and our daughter who adores their pizza, were taken a back. It was just ok. Something was missing this time and we don't know what. That classic sweet sauce and lovely bite sized pizza slices with that crispy oven brick crust we're not there. I had mine with sausage and mushroom. Suasuage was delicicious but the pizza tasted like something I could have gotten in San Antonio, which was damn odd. Compared to La nostra, there was no contest. LA nostra was amazing, fresh and inspired, here not so much. I do hope the magic returns.

I’ve had this place bookmarked for ages, so I stopped in after a 35 min commute to see it. I was recommended the Pink Pig, but they gave me the Patsy’s namesake on accident (would recommend - really enjoyed!). I then tried the Pink Pig since I was curious about the Vodka sauce, and it is a tiny layer that you can’t taste with the pepp (you can decide how pink it is to you from the photos). If you’re dining solo and can’t afford two pies as a single woman in NY, I’d recommend clarifying questions when you first order to be sure you know what you’re getting… otherwise, you could be down $60-$85 for not knowing how to communicate better. I tried when the joint was empty, but my English is a WIP, and the Latinos here speak a mix of English and Spanish while they’re working. I grew up with Mexican Spanish, but I’m not sure that’s what kind of culture is here, because facial expressions are so different from the ones where I’m from. It’s New York, and this isn’t an Italian joint I think - at least the hospitality isn’t (no judgment, just my observation from my first time sitting down here). I’m thinking Italian hospitality is a lost art of sorts - where has the time gone with the language and care of the Med? Probably somewhere fun 😅 No shade to the staff here though - there aren’t that many!

If disappointment had a flavor, it would be this pizza. I don’t even know what I just ate it’s like they took the idea of pizza, ran it through a paper shredder, and served it lukewarm. I’m from Jersey, so trust me I know good pizza. This ain’t it. This isn’t even bad pizza. This is anti-pizza. The crust tastes like wet cardboard, the sauce is thinner than a politician’s promise, and the cheese? What cheese? There’s more dairy in a black coffee. The slice flopped like it just gave up on life halfway through the box. One bite and I genuinely felt bad for the tomato that died for this. You could feed this to pigeons and they’d unionize for better meals. People hyping this place up need to have their taste buds checked either that or they got a different chef from an alternate universe. “New York’s best”? Bro, I’ve had better pizza drunk at a 7-Eleven. Save your money. Save your dignity. Patsy’s might’ve been a legend once, but now it’s just a tourist trap serving nostalgia disguised as dough.

Absolutely horrible. Ordered from Uber eats and they gave me a pepperoni slice, which was not what I ordered. Also, the pizza itself was completely damaged. This doesn’t have anything to do with the restaurant however, when I tried the pizza, it was absolutely horrible. Just taste like garlicand butter without any flavor. This is absolutely by far hands-down the worst slice of New York pizza I’ve ever had they should be ashamed of themselves and the fact that they allow this to be delivered is unconscionable.
