Have been trying to find an authentic Italian wine bar after coming back from Italy & this one is perfect. Cutest backyard with very chill vibe. Great wines on the menu as well as apperetivo. Lasagna was awesome & so was the prosciutto crepe. Judy was very knowledgeable about the wine menu, can’t wait to come back!!
super cute. such reasonable prices and lovely vibe. great food and not too busy! go here if you want to have a calm night and escape the city’s chaos and too busy restaurants. wine, olives and cheese with a book is great here on a wednesday.
Highly recommend this cosy and very intimate place, for drinks and a chill time with your friends or partner. The staff is super sweet and professional, they will make you feel at home. Food is delicious the lasagne and crespelle were my favs!
Great wine bar in the area ! They have an outdoor garden where you have a quieter ambiance. Great selection of wine.
Loved all the small plates! unique, tasty and the back garden is super cozy. Don’t miss the pesto bruschettas!
Food was delicious and flavorful! We especially love braised beef ribs and whipped white fish toast.
Forgot how wonderful Gottino is! Currently out in the back enjoying the beautiful weather with AMAZING crostini and a bottle of Rosè. Heaven!
THANK YOU JOSH FOR BEING SUCH A NICE SOUL. We loved our romantic evening and your beautiful manners 🫶🏼
Cozy, candle lit bar, with the most delicious mulled wine for fall/winter. We love it here!
small but nice please I love to come back again the wine and food delicious
Super nice little wine bar, great atmosphere for a couple
Truly some of the best small plates in NYC. Fantastic wine selection and incredible guidance from the staff regarding pairings. Definitely try the ricotta and figs, and their prosciutto is sliced fresh in front of you and is worth every penny. Great date spot, or place to share a bunch of tasty dishes with a group of friends.
Came to read a book and have some Italian food. Was a lovely single person night out.
Everything about Gottino is perfect - the food, the wine, the Josh (the guy, not the wine) … but don’t go. Because then it will be crowded and not our home from home in NYC. (No, do go. It’s absolutely brilliant.)
This is a hidden vegan gem!! I got the mustard relish burger and it was 10/10! I also got the creamy garlic fries DELICIOUS and the jalapeño fries also DELICIOUS. The place is cute and clean. Would definitely recommend this place for great burgers!!
I’m new to eating vegan foods. I live in the high desert and 💯 the reviews that say this place is really good they’re not jiving the food is excellent you don’t even know it’s vegan! Great job to whom ever owns this place I had the buffalo crispy chicken sandwich, the chicken fingers platter with the mushrooms, strawberry lemonade, and the seaweed fries, all were great tasting! I’ll be back
I was in the area for work and recreation and I stopped by for lunch. All I can say is the food was excellent as was the service. Our food was freshly prepared and came out quickly. Fresh. Fresh. Delicious. Delicious. I am a voracious carnivore and am still planning to eat here on a daily basis when my schedule allows.
The service was great. The staff is very helpful and willing to answer all questions. The garlic fries are SO good. I also had the buffalo chicken burger. I had both as they make it and not withhold or add anything. Both were really good. I went back and got the same meal. The burger warms up good for the next day. Nothing like other fast food spots. Did I mention I am not a vegan. Whether you eat meat or not this place will not disappoint. Do yourself a favor and try it.
Such a great experience at Veganburg! We were greeted promptly, the staff was very attentive and friendly and checked on us multiple times and offered to get our refills. Yes it's mostly burgers, but they have some unique options, portion sizes are great, seasoned broccoli as a side option, wonderfully seasoned fries (remind me of herb popcorn from trader joes) and the fried mushrooms are so good. I really like the buns too. Oh ya and cute/clean bathroom too! Pluuus, dog friendly and they brought her a bowl of water 🐕
Best burger I can remember in a long time. My go to is usually the Habit Burger but this was definitely elevated. I had the BBQ burger but was tempted by the Teriyaki Burger. The steamed broccoli 🥦 has a secret sauce (tasted like soy roasted??). It didn't need an extra sauce on the side.
It's great! Hot, fresh, tasty. And really filling. They're big burgers. So far we've tried 3 burgers and all the sides. Everything was good, no complaints. Some notes if you are going! Some people are going to be put off by the price tag. Especially if you're actually used to paying less for plant based fare. For 2 people, you should expect to pay $30-$40. (15-20 each). You will leave full, though. This is like the vegan answer to 5guys, only this tastes better in my opinion. No bag of grease. Another note, but I'm sure this will change soon with time. Nutrition info is not readily available. The food has been certified kosher and halal, but which items contain nuts or soy isn't listed or found easily. You have to poke around on the franchise website. If you can't do nuts, it does recommend you DON'T eat there. It's the one ding, but again, I expect that'll change with time. Edit: the sliders are sizeable! Shared them with my spouse and it was a full meal with our sides.
My adult children loved everything about this place. They said, "If no one told you it was vegan, you wouldn't know." They had the chicken sandwiches, with different sauces with fries. They have been a few times and will definitely return. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to soy, so I was unable to eat myself. We spoke to the on site manager, who was receptive to feedback regarding the use of soy based products. He indicated possibly making a moved towards eliminating them or making more non-soy alternatives in the future.
I've found my new home. Normally, vegans want to eat at home (home-made). This menu is exactly what I'd love to make at home but can't. So delicious, my tummy is happy and healthy 😋. Thanks for giving us a restaurant destination that's worth every penny and healthy at the same time! No fake foods here, no imitation foods here. I love it! And the soft serve ice-cream with oreo toppings is a nice touch!
We road trip a lot, and without question, this is the best grab-a-meal-while-charging Tesla stop we've had. The owner greeted us when we came in, and she was super helpful explaining all of the great options to us. We split the Avo Beets and the Shrooms Burg to try out both house patty options. For sides, we had broccoli and fries. Both burgers were fabulous. We couldn't decide which one we liked more. I will say, if you're getting the Shrooms Burg, eat it inside because it's a little messy with the mushrooms spilling out. The broccoli side was so good, especially with the house-made sauces they give you. Don't worry about it being vegan if you're not. It's super tasty, and you can make it as healthy (or not) as you feel.
The food was delicious! Best part was NON-DAIRY SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM. It felt very welcoming. My asada fries were tasty and filling, mini meal had a delicious slider, and the tenders were really good. I will be coming back especially for the soft serve ice cream. This is perfect for those of us with a vegan diet. Plant based menu.
AMAZING!! Firstly, the staff is so knowledgeable and kind. It’s nice to be met with enthusiasm when asking about allergy info and such. The food is also delicious. The high desert has few vegan options and this one is wonderful. Secondly, the price and value are fantastic! Even if you’re not vegan, you need to try it out!!!
Di our cashier was amazing! She explained the top sellers and spicy levels of the burgers and other options. While waiting for our food she brought over a sample of the coconut ice cream, which was delicious! The burgers fries, broccoli, and ice cream (of course) were all amazing! I wish I didn't live so far, but this was the perfect lunch spot between home and Vegas!
Hands down the best vegan spot in the high desert. I was greeted with comfort and professionalism. It feels extremely homey in this establishment, the hospitality made me feel good. I ordered the “shroom burg” and let me tell you, it was the best damn vegan burger I’ve ever had. The establishment was also extremely clean on the inside as well. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much!
Sooooooo good. We got the teriyaki burg and haught n salsa and creamy garlic fries. Along with their ranch and sriracha aioli they make themselves. AMAZINGGGG !!!!! Service is great too. Super aesthetic and cute inside great music playing they even had some connect 4, hook and ring, and connect 4 to play. 100/10 recommend to any and everyone!! Will be coming back to try everything on that menu😩
A friend sent me here to try out, and i so happy she did. Everything is made to order, so your food is always fresh. Ordered several burgers, and all of them came out hot and pack full of flavor. If you come with someone, have them cut your burger in half so you guys can share. This place almost made me give up eating meat, never knew vegan food could taste this good. Besides the food being delicious, the friendliness of the staff made it an incredible experience. They come out to your tables, making sure you alright, they even offer me a couple of sauces to try. The restaurant is clean, I like how they have their bar sitting. They also have tables if you have a bigger group. The only thing is i wish the drink cups were a little bigger. An overall great experience, would highly recommend trying this spot. Drop in, tell them Simon sent you, and let's help make this business grow.
My experience at Gottino was very good. It’s a great place to have a conversation — calm, charming, and perfect for a date. It’s not noisy, which makes it even more enjoyable. This bar serves only beer and wine (no cocktails). We ordered some olives with our drinks, which were nice. I recommend it if you’re looking for a chill, quiet spot to have a drink before dinner. Prices are “normal” for NYC, though a bit on the expensive side.
Delicious Italian small plates in a cozy West Village spot. We came in on a Sunday night for dinner and got a table for 3 people without any problem. We tried 2 crostinis, the white fish and the brussel sprouts salad. We particularly enjoyed the crostinis. The staff was so friendly. Looking forward to coming back and sitting in the garden!
Stumbled across this place before a dinner reservation for a quick drink. A lovely dark intimate feel, cant wait to come back with my husband or small group of friends to try the food.
Cute space and a friendly staff. If your like Italian wine you’ll love it here. I was surprised to see they have a little outdoor space in the back. Great place for a date or a girls night.
This is a cute place, but the experience was ruined by lack of service. As soon as we walked in the host/waitress seemed annoyed to greet or seat us even though the restaurant was 80% empty. She was rude throughout the entire service, she clearly didn’t want to be there. On top of that their payment systems starts the tip setting at 20%. I should be tipping minimum 20% for non-existent scornful service? The food and wine is delicious. The crostini and the crepes were super tasty. This place needs to improve their service if they want patrons back.
So unpleasant experience. I went to celebrate my friend's birthday 5 people, we were waiting for the previous clients to leave so we can sit on a table, then suddenly another woman sits right away claiming that it was her birthday and that she and her friends will be sitting there. None of the waiters step in to solve the inconvenience; one waitress stopped by and asked us to move to another table without enough space to sit. They never listened to us or made anything to understand and come with a solution. I will never go again, and I do believe the staff is completely unhelpful and useless.
