Who knew good old Uncle Sam was Italian? He makes a mean grandma slice! Super friendly and does classic NY style slices expertly. Didn’t try their famous pepperoni squares, but they looked delicious! Tiny shop with limited seating. Highly recommend if you’re in the area craving a classic slice or two.

Uncle Sam’s hits that rare top tier of NY pizza spots. So appetizing that anyone who knows good pizza will be able to look at theirs and predict that it’s good. Spoiler alert: They would be right. It’s amazing. Plus decent prizes and plentiful seating and I’m a happy pizza lover.

The employee behind the counter was kind and patient with our large party. Buffalo Chicken and vodka slices were my personal favourites. Will definitely be back!

Really really really really really good slices!! Definitely some of the best I’ve had in the city. I got the round Vodka and the mushroom slice. Both were great but I think I prefer the mushroom. Really crispy crust with nice sauce and a good amount of cheese and toppings. Pay cash if you have it!

Plain slice was like a 8/10 id say. Cheese, sauce, and crust all quite good. I prefer the outer crust to be fluffier though. The grandma slice though.....wow. It's fantastic. Absolutely 10/10. This place actually deserves the 4.9 star average rating it has just for this. Also the store happened to be empty and the guy brought the pizza to me which was pretty nice. Normally I'd need to get up and get the pizza from the counter so nice service. Place is small though and just has stools against a wall counter so keep that in mind if u want to sit with a bunch of people

This is my favorite neighborhood pizza spot. My roommates and I love to grab dinner from here or end our nights out here. The pizza is always crispy and the sauce is very flavorful. I love the thicker crust with has many great options for toppings. My favorites are the eggplant or the spicy pepperoni. The people who work here are very welcoming when we come in and you get your pizza very quickly. Always a great experience.

I’m a born and raised New Yorker who has been living here for my whole life and this is still quite possibly the best pizza I have ever had. This place was just around the corner from my hotel and I like that it was open late too. Food: got a square slice of classic pepperoni. It was good too. The crust was crunchy but fluffy. Good amount of pepperoni on it and I didn't even have to pick off any cheese (not a cheese person at all). And it had a small kick to it which I liked. 9.8/10 Service: I was the only one there so it was quick with no wait. The guy was cool. Glad they take cash too. 9/10 Atmosphere: its a in and out place. I honestly don't see what all the hype about this place is for. I went here twice, really hoping to enjoy the pizza, but to be completely honest, the pizza tasted subpar, and I left disappointed both times. The taste of the crust was off and it was so incredibly oily. The cheese was fairly decent which made up for the crust, and the staff were friendly both times too. Maybe I just had a bad experience both times. The pizza isn't terrible like other's I've had in NYC, but it certainly isn't worth the hype

I was skeptical of the reviews and with good reason. There is no way a pizza place with a 4.9 is empty at midnight. There isn’t a single redeeming quality that would be a 5 - felt like its pizza toppings on garlic bread. The music however bangs.

I got the vodka slice and it was mids at best. There wasnt even any vodka sauce on it It was mostly mozzarella cheese on it w basil, but where is the vodka sauce?????? Awful pizza, awful customer service. These folks think it's acceptable to dox you and then lie about how badly they fumbled the bag on mismanaging an order.

I ended up deleting the video footage because the patrons who were being pestered thought I was using the footage to their disadvantage , but while I was there I saw a women with dark hair and eyeglasses verbally sexually assault and instigate physical interaction with the parties of said victim. After not receiving my order. And after the mentally insane person decided to put an order for a non paying patron , I told them don’t worry about my order , this was about after 15 mins of hearing this person trying to argue with other patrons. After that we just decided to leave.

These people are awful- I left a review below... they repeatedly lie... they lied last night when they said they cancelled the order, and are lying in the response below yet again by saying they refunded immediately- I called them 3 times to get the order cancelled they refused each time and finally GrubHub stepped in to help. Now they're trying to dox me by providing my personal info in their response- childish. Checkout the photos I uploaded below to see the way they sent my order to me
