I got the Lamb over rice and let me tell you, this was delicious! Rice was cooked perfectly. The lamb was tender and seasoned well. Portions were enough for one person and maybe some leftovers. I think I spent around $15 total for the lamb over rice. I heard their chicken is moist and delicious. They’re located right on broadway in Newburgh. Depending on the time of day you might see a few unsavory people out front, but nothing too bad. The area isn’t crazy bad. Parking is typical for what you’d expect off a main strip. Make sure you pay the meter!!! They do check. The wait time for my food was maybe 8 minutes. I’m definitely going to try more items off the menu when I go back. There is very limited seating btw. I think only a handful of chairs facing the front window if I’m correct, so don’t plan on eating inside. Overall good food.

Always get the falafel platter add lamb. white sauce red sauce / side pita. Just realized the samosas are delightful. Platter is always good. Always hot. A little oily on the rice for me but I get it. Pita - it’s okay if it were crispy or hot, but it’s also the worst thing they do. Who cares? Still a 5 star review because it’s a quick, late night, very decent food option.

Place has great chicken and rice cucumber salad dish. Flavorable, fresh and very tasty. Tried first time , im working from out of state.highly recomend, good size portions too

Always fresh food when we stop in. Tonight we were coming back from westchester medical, we saw they were open and stopped. Got the jerk chicken over rice with red sauce. I love spicy food and boy every time I get this it never fails. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting.

I got a burger, fries and a drink. The meal was quite good. The owners and staff were very friendly and even gave us directions to places nearby. I will definitely be coming back here.

This place has the BEST food in the area! I come here all the time. My favs are the lamb over rice and their fried chicken (which is super good) But honestly, their food is so good anything you order here is a steal for the price!

I love the food here. It's always so fresh and hot! The salad in the platters is always crisp and cold, cut in perfect bits, while the rice and meat mixture placed right next to the salad is hot and moist. Very pleasing to the eye. Smells and tastes delicious. Everything is placed neatly in containers that hold generous amounts of food. The venue itself is always neat and VERY CLEAN! The employees are friendly and pay strict attention to the requests of the customer pertaining to how they like their food prepared. Your order is taken quickly and prepared in no time. Very little wait.

an excellent addition to the neighborhood! the platters are excellent and super fresh. the white sauce is to die for, and their hot sauce has the perfect amount of kick. what a nice surprise that they even have tasty after meal treats and snacks to curb that sweet tooth like fried oreos and twinkies 😎

This my second time trying 845 Halal. The first time I picked up and the second time I had it delivered via DoorDash. The food consistently taste amazing. So far I tried the platters, Newburgher and beef patty twice. This restaurant can’t be compared to the “other spots”. Next time I will try the fried chicken to seal the deal.

Stopped by here for the first time a couple a weeks ago. I've always had their samosas at Newburgh mosque but I hadn't visited the storefront yet. Parking is pretty easy. And I really enjoyed the new jerk chicken platter!

Ordered through DoorDash. The lamb over rice was so freaking delicious. Tender seasoned flavorful genius portion size I could go on and on. Immaculate cuisine I will be ordering from here again. The Onion rings were mid but with my discount on the DoorDash app taking off three dollars from the total purchase I have rationed out that for the discounted price they were okay. There’s also so many other options on this restaurants menu so definitely worth giving them a try.

Tasty Halal food with a wide menu that gets creative. It’s a takeaway service that has seating if you’re atarving or on the go. Portions were more than adequate. Two small eaters can in fact share any of their rice combo platters.

Food rancid not fresh I thought it was going to be at least ok but rice was super stuffed in my order while I hads asked for extra salad it had little of it but stuffed with rice which was NOT fresh it was super hard like when rice dries out and is oolldd rice. Meat also was dried out not juicy or fresh. I was excited it would be good at least but was tad disappointed once I started to dig in into it. Foto lookd better than what it was.
