This place is a hidden gem. The food was amazing and so was the margaritas. Even the pepperoni pizza my son had was excellent. So glad to find this restaurant in our community.

Great menu, service and ambiance. The server was knowledgeable enough to answer any questions we had as well as describe the specials. I was bummed they didn’t have the ribs in stock but was pleased with the NY strip I ordered. Found the place because of the Axxess card and will definitely go back.

Newbury park / dos vientos eatery. Good happy hour prices from 4.30 to 6.30 pm except Thursday when It goes all night. Their sides are my go to when wanting a vegetarian meal (about 6 dollars each) spinach and mashed potatoes. Or roasted potatoes and broccoli. Their entrees are fairly priced and plentiful ($16 to $22) try the grilled Scotish salmon over lentils. Chris and Julio make you feel like family. Give it a try.

After reading so many rave reviews we were all very pleased to try this place and some of their most talked about dishes. Big fan of university pasta and many reviews talking about how great it is here and we were a bit disappointed. It wasn't bad, but it was a little fishy, ​​and not creamy. The bone marrow came up to our table in huge bones, but in fact the atmosphere inside was very small. We tried to share and had to get another room. The handmade pork in the table was pretty good, and the restaurant steak. The desserts were a bit uninteresting.

Our group of four dropped in for dinner. They were very busy with a charity event but had room for us. They served some garlic olive oil bread which was tasty. I had the lasagna. Very good. The portion was on the small side of medium. For the price I would have expected a side salad. I was a bit hungry at the end. Everyone enjoyed their dishes.

We were all so excited about going out to a restaurant after 3 months of closures. What a great choice! We've been to the local table several times and are never disappointed. The food was exceptional, my favorites were the scallop and corn appetizer and the short ribs entree although everyone in our party was extremely satisfied with their meal. Service was excellent as well. Looking forward to going back and trying something else on the menu. If you haven't been there, I would highly recommend it.

“The Local Table” now know as “GEMA.” The menu was small, pastas were decent and service as good. Good local spot seems more like a drinking and appetizer spot.

Fun fact: Originally this place used to be Mama Rita's. It was visit by Gordon Ramsay 15 years ago. After he left, the owner reverted back to her own ways, abandoning Ramsay's menu. It closed in 2010. Since then (via Google) this location was pretty much vacated until it was put up for lease.

My husband and I decided to try this place. I would say don’t go. I got a 25.00 chicken piccata. It was previously frozen and you could tell. I asked for pepper and was told the didn’t have any. What?! My husband ordered the steak medium rare, it came burnt. It was probably about over 90 degrees in the restaurant on our visit. The waitress and all employees were very annoyed( we heard them speaking) not an ideal place for a dinner, especially when the temp inside is over 90 degrees or higher. I am sad because we live so close to this place but it lacks a lot. Wish them the best

After walking around the bar we finally found two of them hiding in the corner. They quickly sat us and got us our drink orders. Now this is where the service became unbearable. After waiting 30 minutes for our server to return and take our order, I had to track down one of them and inform them that we were ready to order. I then returned to the table and waited for my family for an additional 25 minutes. I then had to track down the same man to give him my card to pay for the drinks so we could leave. Instead of swiping the card he put it on the counter and walked to the back of the restaurant. I then found him sipping a drink at the bar and I had to convince him to finish ringing up the check. This was the worst restaurant server experience I've ever had and I still have no idea how the food is.
