Carl's Jr is my fav fast food burger chain. Mainly because they have different qualities of burgers from their regular to Angus. And you can get all of them without any of the multitude of toppings or a bun. The waffle fries are to die for and the real ice cream milk shakes are some of the best in the business. The chicken tenders will have you going there JUST for the chicken tenders. Every location, with the exception of the Adams Ave/Royal Palm St. one, has fast, friendly and accurate service. The Magnolia Ave/Adams Ave location has exceptional service. The Bristol St/Birch St location prompted this review where we ordered an Angus beef burger with all the veggies, no condiments, waffle fries and chicken tenders. The order was prepared quickly and perfectly. And isn't that all you really want from a fast food, burger place?

Amazing! I am from Missouri & on vacation in California. I could NOT find the drive through window to order.. call me blonde LOL. I pulled up to the window you’re suppose to pay at- but the lady was VERY nice and still took my order and it was quick , and the food was great! Highly recommend!

The food is always good I think it's one of the best fast food places, but of course it's pricey. The only negative is sometimes they don't open and fill up the French fry cardboard containers all the way full so you get cheated out of some french fries, a lot of restaurants do that to save money and cheat the customer so make sure they fill up your french fry container all the way stuffed full 😁🎄🍟

I've been going to this Carl's Junior for a really long time easily 20 years no exaggeration and the food quality as well as service has varied throughout sometimes I was there every single day 4 months and at other times there would be a year or two I wouldn't even walk in but recently I have been in love with the French toast sticks and the hash browns and their store hours are surprisingly twenty-four hours a da recently which is extremely rare with the virus especially so so I was helped by a lady named Jenny the other morning and she was wonderful customer service so sweet my order was absolutely perfect the food was so hot and so fresh I feel like I was sitting at the kitchen table and she cooked especially for me I mean I I could go on and on about both the food quality Service everything it was absolutely impeccable and I specifically asked her for her name because I want her to be recognized and I just I really appreciate when a job is done so perfectly I can't wait to go back and get breakfast again I wish they had it 24 hours a day it puts all the other fast-food places to shame no joke I'm back n Jenny should own this location no joke!!

I loved there chicken star kids meal! I have had great memories there. There food is always good. Also the shakes are amazing, and the whip cream actully taste really good.

Went on may 22nd 2022 at 8 o clock. Felt overly good leaving there. Something about the woman that took my order at the drive through was just very nice and professional. Idk why I feel compelled to come home and write a review about it, as I don't just go about my days writing random reviews if any hardly ever... but could just be the day. Felt blessed and happy to be given food by this woman. I hope she is blessed and deserves recommendations for advancement based on her spirit, smile and attention given.

Still pretty good as a fast food restaurant but there's a lot of other options that give you more bang for your buck. I just wish they could offer better deals like their competition.

The burger was good and didnt take long to be made. The drive thru is confusing as you have to turn at the light to get to it. Maybe some better signage to help with directions.

My first experience using multi gender bathroom and I'm against it! Why because men are pigs and I refuse to share with someone that treats a common area with so much distain. It made me worry about how clean the food was prepared. What's wrong with the arrangement is there isn't enough staff to accommodate the cleaning schedule. The food was almost okay.

It's a fast food joint. The people Thier are cool everytime I go . But the only thing that throws me off is that they have a tip jar . It's not that kind of restaurant to be doing that in my opinion.

The drive thru was hard to find and the employees weren't helpful to find it. FYI you have to go behind the gas station across the parking lot of the pickup window. Good thing I found it because once I did there were 5 more cars behind me!

I havent been eating fast food much lately, but it just seems like that Carl Jr prices keeps getting higher and higher and the quality seems lower. And there are strange ppl that walk in that area. We ate in our car.

If you're dining in it's easy but if you're driving through it's a tricky one. Only a small sign telling you that you need to enter from the main street, if you miss it it'll require you to cruise through the back of the business center out to the street and pray you can make an unprotected left to get to the drive thru. Other than that the food was fine and people were nice.

Prices have increased. Western bacon burger was flat and fries - both were less than room temp. Wont be going back.

We got 3 and the put cheese on all three. I didn't realize they charged me for the extra burger until my son said it was to expensive and looking for the receipt, there was a third burger. See pictures of these "clean" bathrooms. Foods good, no real Management complaints but if this employee is there - I'd steer clear if I were you!

The manager Joe Golla was a total worm. I heard him yelling at an employee for not spitting on an order. He uses the same mop for the floor to clean the grills and tables. Never going there again!

For a drive thru that is open 24hrs I waited 10 mins at the out door menu to order to find both employees on there phone in the dinning area and told me there on break! What kinda customer service is this Carl’s Jr.!

The quality of the food is terrible, the lettuce was slimy, and the guy who took my order smells like hangover and weed, my order took nearly 15 minutes to get prep and my chicken was halfway cooked fries very soft and harm and it taste like old oil, asked a nice lady the took my order to my table to see who was the manager and she pointed in the direction of the drunky Mexican short guy so I just decided just to leave my feedback in here since my receipt doesn't have a website for comments or anything, please sr go to AA meeting and dress a little more like a boss not a ganster.

Never ordering from here again.... My chicken strips were old and so were my chili cheese fries.. complained like 7mins after I got my food from drive thru... So guy said he'd take my name and number so i can get my order comped next visit.. and here I am infront of the manager and he swears nothing was written. Chicken overcooked and so dry. Fries were also way too brown. Gender nuetral bathrooms were gross. Both toilet seats up and full pee. Go back to men and women...its gross to go in after a man pees all over. Doesnt flush or put the seat down

This restaurant will charge you for the BEYOND FAMOUS STAR BURGER but will give you a regular meat FAMOUS STAR. It's happened twice in the past week. The employees/manager don't seem to care at all. The staff at this location has an "I didn't take your order it wasn't my fault attitude." This is such an important product for this restaurant's staff is totally failing. CKE obvious can't be trusted. Don't leave the drive through window without checking your order and get a receipt. Don't bother try calling the number listed here; it's just a fax machine or modem. While the beyond meet burger is 7.85 plus tax and I couldn't even eat it once I got to work. In conclusion; if you don't have time to unwrap and check your food at the drive through window; don't go to this location. Such a frustrating waist of time. Twice in one week. Same problem. This locations' staff is just clueless.

Got off work at 1:30 am and I was really craving some chicken stars and bbq sauce ordered 2 9 pc’s one for my brother and one for me my brother had asked for ranch and bbq and i had asked the cashier for 4 bbq’s and got no bbq sauces and was shorted a chicken star in my 9 pc

I’d love to give this place no stars. The drive thru line wasn’t that long (4 cars) but we ended up waiting between 15-20 min for our food. Luckily I live close by because my order was incorrect, they didn’t give a receipt and they kept the credit card!!!! It’s 3am so I wanted to grab food and go to sleep so I didn’t think to check for card. First and last time here for sure!

This is the closest drive-thru Carl's to my house so it's not like I have a lot of options every time they get one part on my order wrong. I've noticed with this fast food chain as well as another one that they stop giving receives so you can verify what you have or dispute it when you go back in convenient isn't it.

This place is literally across the street from my house and every time I've gone there, the service sucked! Today, after work, I decided to stop by at Carl's Jr...was greeted by another drop dead crap customer service, could barely hear her and she sounded like she didnt even cared about a paying customer. Just like previous experience with a girl with glasses and blue hair, but now a different person...AND it's a manager, go figure. She charged my card, closed the window and walked away without saying anything. Then another person brought me my food out and with a happy attitude asked me if I wanted anything else before saying goodbye...I get home look in the bag and my fries are up side down and barely even a medium...there were no cars in the drive thru and their service was barely up to par. Get your shyt together Carl Jr.! Replace the staff or close down and get out of town so a better place can replace it!!!

Went through the drive through and mentioned I had a coupon for a certain item. It wasn't acknowledged but I figured they would take care of it at the window. Nope. Handed the cashier the coupon first, and then he proceeded to overcharge my card. When I brought this to his attention, he motioned for me to park in the parking lot while they resolved this very unnecessary issue. I sat in the parking lot waiting and when they came out, they didn't refund my card. Instead, they handed me cash. Not even the correct amount. No inclusion of tax or anything. A quick apology and nothing else. Now after all this my food is cold. Great customer service Carl's. Your mistake costs me my lunch. And, to make it worse, I overpaid for this sorry excuse of "customer service". Appreciate it.

Came here at 3:40am, the lady saw me and told me to go to the drive thru then proceed to disappear. I came back to the window again and saw her again while she was trying not to notice us. At the end we just had to leave because got tired of waiting for her to get our order. Very dissatisfied.

Rude people sometimes if he doesn’t come out right and often times it smells bad in this place when I came here this morning it looks like the lobby was closed probably because they had a water break or something. I wouldn’t recommend this location. It’s over price for Newport Beach and a very rundown area.

I went to this Carl’s Jr. 11/09/2021 around 3:40 pm the lady who took my order was very short and rude, then I get to the window and ask if I could please get the bbq sauce they have on the western the trainee at the window told the lady and he comes back and gives me the packaged sweet and bold bbq like this is the one on the western, I said okay thanks, as I drove away the lady that was helping the trainee had a rude smirk on her face. Fun fact I worked at Carl’s Jr. Twice in my life that is not the same bbq sauce I’m very disappointed that they were lazy to literally just ask the cook for a side, thinking I won’t know the difference.

Price here is +$4. Got my order wrong even though they charged me for the more expensive meal. Gave me a burger instead of a western. A double combo here is $22. Insane to mess this up and pocket the $6-8 difference and get the order wrong

I ordered takeout & my food was old, cold & gross. I got 3pc chicken tender combo & a famous star. My wife’s famous star had nasty brown lettuce & my chicken tenders were probably prepared 1 hour or more so nasty. We were the only customers in the establishment so they had ample opportunity to make new fries & chicken tenders as well as make sure the lettuce wasn’t brown. I used to work in the food industry & was taught never to serve food you wouldn’t eat yourself. I very highly doubt they would eat old chicken tenders & brown lettuce. Save your money & go to another location.

Order was made incorrect and no one was at the window the lady tonight was sitting in the dining room.

Unacceptable Behavior from Store Manager Today I had a highly unpleasant experience at this Carl’s Jr. due to the conduct of a manager named Hugo Plaza. A minor issue with a discount code quickly turned into an uncomfortable encounter because of his unprofessional, rude, and condescending behavior — toward both me and one of his own employees. Rather than working toward a solution, Hugo acted like I was wasting his time. He made no effort to de-escalate the issue, and instead took a tone that was arrogant and completely out of line. No customer should ever be treated this way, and no employee should be publicly disrespected by their manager. This kind of toxic leadership should not be tolerated. I hope the franchise owner or corporate office looks into this and takes corrective action. I will not return to this location unless I know the issue has been addressed — and that includes holding Hugo Plaza accountable for his unacceptable behavior.

It used to be really good & friendly service, but lately the two women working Saturdays have acted like I'm inconveniencing them whenever I go in. I even online order to try to save them time, but even then they'll wait till the end of their conversation about people they know selling things, getting in fights with their parents etc before even acknowledging me or anyone else. They forgot part of my order the last time I was in the drive thru, but I didn't even bother going back because they weren't even neutral, they were annoyed I was there interrupting.

Waited 10 minutes at the drive thru order board. Said hello multiple times. Drove up to the window and waited some more. We could see 5 employees inside just goofing off. Finally parked and went inside. The cashier was not remotely sorry and gave me attitude. She botched up the transaction on top of it all. Food may be decent but the service is non existent.

The manager of this Carl's was the one who helped me at the drive through. He was rude right off the bat. I asked what came on the burger and he told me to look at the photo rather then advising me. I then took a few seconds to respond about the beverage we wanted as I was asking my daughter. He then proceeded to ask me again in a very rude manner as to hurry me when there was no one in line. Once I got to the window again I was treated with a cold shoulder as if I was not a paying customer spending $40 on 2 meals. Over priced and poor quality of food as my burger bun was smashed to death, chicken stars were cold and overall a bad experience. I wont be returning to this location ever again!

I ordered a number 5 combo which is a California double and i got one small patty and a bit of cheese then i ordered a meat patty and a bitof cheese for my dog he got a large bit of meat which was bigger than mine. When i went back in i asked for the manger and got the girl that served me i told her i ordered a double and she said it was so i asked were the 2nd bit of meat was and she took it back to the kitchen. I understand its sunday but there was no one in side eating when i drove through and if it takes 15mins to make that i should of been done properly. Check your food before you leave.

I ordered a number 5 combo which is a California double and i got one small patty and a bit of cheese then i ordered a meat patty and a bitof cheese for my dog he got a large bit of meat which was bigger than mine. Unacceptable Behavior from Store Manager Today I had a highly unpleasant experience at this Carl’s Jr. due to the conduct of a manager named Hugo Plaza. A minor issue with a discount code quickly turned into an uncomfortable encounter because of his unprofessional, rude, and condescending behavior — toward both me and one of his own employees. Rather than working toward a solution, Hugo acted like I was wasting his time. He made no effort to de-escalate the issue, and instead took a tone that was arrogant and completely out of line. No customer should ever be treated this way, and no employee should be publicly disrespected by their manager. This kind of toxic leadership should not be tolerated. I hope the franchise owner or corporate office looks into this and takes corrective action. I will not return to this location unless I know the issue has been addressed — and that includes holding Hugo Plaza accountable for his unacceptable behavior.

The manager of this Carl's was the one who helped me at the drive through. He was rude right off the bat. I asked what came on the burger and he told me to look at the photo rather then advising me. I then took a few seconds to respond about the beverage we wanted as I was asking my daughter. He then proceeded to ask me again in a very rude manner as to hurry me when there was no one in line. Once I got to the window again I was treated with a cold shoulder as if I was not a paying customer spending $40 on 2 meals. Over priced and poor quality of food as my burger bun was smashed to death, chicken stars were cold and overall a bad experience. I wont be returning to this location ever again!

It used to be really good & friendly service, but lately the two women working Saturdays have acted like I'm inconveniencing them whenever I go in. I even online order to try to save them time, but even then they'll wait till the end of their conversation about people they know selling things, getting in fights with their parents etc before even acknowledging me or anyone else. They forgot part of my order the last time I was in the drive thru, but I didn't even bother going back because they weren't even neutral, they were annoyed I was there interrupting.

Waited 10 minutes at the drive thru order board. Said hello multiple times. Drove up to the window and waited some more. We could see 5 employees inside just goofing off. Finally parked and went inside. The cashier was not remotely sorry and gave me attitude. She botched up the transaction on top of it all. Food may be decent but the service is non existent.
