We love this place. We live right around the corner and my daughter stops by often on her way to school. She says they always remember her and are always so nice. The donuts are amazing and we usually get the doughnut holes so we can share. Good job guys.

They say best donuts in town, is say the very best donuts anywhere. Marie's Donuts is a landmark. I've been going since I came here in 1983, they were there long before that. Simply the best, especially the apple fritters and old fashioned, I've never had one that even comes close. Did I mention they're the best donuts anywhere?

Wow! I was in flavor heaven from the first bite😍. I was treated to this place as a birthday gift. I got their apple fritter and their buttermilk donut bar with maple icing. The apple fritter is about the size of my face😂, I got full trying to eat it all. And I love a good donut with maple icing and the buttermilk milk bar didn't disappoint. I marked this spot as a favorite!🍩🍩

This is the legit original Marie's donuts. Their stuff is better than the other Sacramento location, and I cannot stress this enough, the cream puff donut here is unmatched anywhere.

It’s been a long time since I’ve done a review… This donut shop is not your usual spot. Everything I tried today was delish and you cannot find the type of donuts they have in your daily shop. Unless it’s Marie’s. A+

THE QUALITY HAS NEVER CHANGED!!! They never cut corners, they are always hardworking and they produce the best donuts in California, HANDS DOWN!! Their selection is simply amazing so it's always best to go before or around 9am if you want fresh and delicious donuts. Their crumb, glazed, chocolate, apple fritter, Mable glazed, long johns, and cream filled are something you have to experience. I fear this review is not doing this place true justice! The owners are always cordial, and ready to have an amazing 30 second conversation with you while ordering. But hurry up in line, we're waiting for our box of donuts too!!!

One of the best Apple fritters in town

Love the cinnamon roll. The glaze is not too sweet, the dough is light and fluffy and that's what makes this my favorite treat when I stop in with my granddaughter who loves their donut holes. The customer care and service in this shop is over the top!! These ladies are so very nice and friendly. I love the prices and they have good coffee too!

I LOVE THIS PLACE. When I have a chance to drive down to North Highlands, this is the first place I hit. Love their cream filled donuts, real cream. Real fruit in their filled donuts, just the best. I had to move out of state and there wasn't anything like this place. As soon as I arrived back in California, this was my first stop! LOVE YOU GUY'S!!!!

My dad used to take me here when I was a tiny girl--that was nearly 40 years ago! Nothing much has changed, and I mean that in the best way. It's a dive, but the donuts are deliciously fresh and the prices are right. It's like travelling back in time.

I have not just had one experience, I have had many. This place has been around for many many, many years that the love, loyalty and respect that they have for everybody in the public is amazing. I've been living in the Antelope area for about 17 years and it's the same donut place that I've been going to because donuts haven't always agreed​ with me. They don't use as much oil or maybe the way they fry it to where it doesn't upset my stomach. I love their glazed buttermilk bars the best because they just melt in my mouth but I also love a couple of their other kinds that I am going to stay quiet on because they're mine. Not to mention the ladies that work with us customers are absolutely amazing. I've never met a place where people actually enjoy their job so much and wear a smile on their face everyday. I have to take my 14 year old in there quite often for special treats. Luckily enough he's underweight so hopefully this will add some meat on his bones. Thanks Marie's Donuts for such a phenomenal job, thanks for making us smile not just for your​ fantastic donuts but thanks to making us smile just as often as you do.A huge thanks and appreciation to you for working so hard and keeping this place open and making it a part of our city.

All of their donuts are so fresh and addictive. The apple fritters are huge and delicious! The shop is small, quaint and bright inside. There are a few tables inside for those who want to stay a few minutes to enjoy their donut with a cup of coffee. The customer service is always great and the lady taking the orders is always so personable and friendly. If you are ever in the vicinity of this donut shop, stop in and get a few or a dozen fresh and delicious donuts!

I picked up my order the following morning around 5 AM with no issues at all. Thank you Marie’s Donuts for making this a simple process! Our runners loved your donut holes so much! For future donut run events, I’ll be coming here from now on.

Passed by here earlier this afternoon. I had the opportunity to go to Marie's Donuts today. I just came from school at American River College. When I walked inside, it was peaceful and quiet. I noticed one worker inside. The service was good. The female worker was kind and respectful and had a positive attitude. I ordered two chocolate sprinkled donuts. The service was quick and easy as well. Honestly, I will pass by this donut shop again. The donuts were delicious by the way.

Been going there since the late 80s used to be able to go there at midnight on a Friday night and get fresh at Eclaire's. They are amazing 🤩

Has been a long time favorite of mine and everyone else that has tried it for sure will definitely be going back for as long as it's open really great donuts and I'm not sugar coating that either If you have never tried this place you are depriving yourself of some really good donuts I'm telling you definitely a top shelf treat you deserve so anytime I'm on Watt Ave and there open I'm stopping and getting a few donuts

The donuts were great but only one employee And no one in the store. The service was quick at that time. Four stars, good food but the atmosphere seemed a little strange.

Great quality donuts, Lower prices, Hot chocolate (w/ ACTUAL whipped cream), Eating inside or take it to-go, Employees are nice, Location's convenient... Pretty nice donut spot if you're looking for a new place to get donuts; I personally recommend Marie's!

The doughnuts are just okay. The service is good and they're very friendly but what doughnut shop employees aren't? I'd say it's just below the average shop. People have raved for years and just meh. I doubt they even try other places. There's so many awesome doughnuts shops around that do really neat doughnuts and other flavors. This place doesn't hold up.

I’ve had much better experiences at the Marie’s on Freeport—those donuts had a better balance of flavor and texture. If you’re looking to try Marie’s, I’d recommend heading to the Freeport location instead. It’s been owned by a different family for years now, and they put more care in their donuts.

There is a reason this place is loosing its business. Today we went in like normal for our personal doughnut's except it was my boyfriend’s birthday so he was excited for his fav doughnut. I get asked what my boyfriend and I are getting. I told her i think we are just getting a few. She was irritated right away “are you getting a dozen? 6? You need to tell me” He told her he wanted the Maple Doughnut Bar filled w Cream (per usual) She said “well we don’t do that” He let her know that was a lie because he gets it all the time w the extra Charge. “Now why would I fill this for you when we have these pre filled doughnuts right here? You think I’m going to go back there to do this for you? I’m not” He explained that he doesn’t understand & that he just wanted his doughnut for his birthday & she doesn’t have to be so rude. She then LAUGHED at his face, literally. & said “yeah? Well happy birthday good for you” while she was walking Tords the back to fill the doughnut like we originally asked. We changed our mind & started to leave. She expressed how happy she was w us leaving & he told her it’s all about “simple customer service” This was COMPLETELY random act of rudeness. We came in w smiles & good attitude. I would understand if we came in w bad moods but we didn’t. I now understand why people are complaining about this location after all these years. I DID take a video of the altercation with her & im going to upload it so people can see that people are not lying about this rude behavior at this store. Also too mention this was THE owner ??!
