My partner and I love coming here on Sunday for pancakes. This gem is a hole in the wall and not for everyone. It's open daily from 7am -2pm, and Sunday morning is usually busy. The service is good, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and prices are reasonable,the food,.....it's good! This place has been around a long time for a reason. Bonus: they have a California lottery ticket machine inside :)

Usually, prompt service and decent food. There is a meeting room in back, so you may want to call first,especially if your in a hurry. The breakfast foods and lunches are full portions. If you go, tell the owner Mo John sent ya, not that other fella. You will be sure to get the best service.

Support family owned local businesses! A great find! Always looking for that authentic diner style meal with great service and food. They hit the marks that will be a place we frequent. Good coffee, they came around often to ask if we wanted refills. Parking lot. Lotto and scratchers! I ordered the veggie omelet without the eggs (what’s new, lol) and they have rye bread which is my staple go to. He ordered the chicken fried steak, pancakes, and fruit. (Fresh not canned). Very fast to come out after ordering. You can order any side as a substitute.

Great service, great breakfast. Food is cooked to order and delivered quickly. I ordered two eggs "over medium", country potatoes, and a biscuit and gravy. My friend ordered Chicken fried steak and eggs "over hard", hash browns, and pancakes. Our food was delivered at the same time, hot, and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and very attentive. I've already been back twice and will definitely be returning. If you're looking for the latest and greatest spin on Eggs Benedict, or the hottest, new, trendy bistro, just keep driving. However, if you want to start your day with a well cooked meal in a friendly, relaxed environment, you should definitely give Pancake Palace a try.

The service here is spectacular! This place runs like a well-oiled machine they're really on top of it. The pancakes were super fluffy and delicious and my daughter love them. I had chicken strips with mashed potatoes and gravy and dunking the chicken strips in the mashed potatoes was pretty awesome for me. Best hangover food EVER.

The service was awesome! The food was okay. I ordered the chicken fried steak with cakes. The gravy was not very good in my opinion but the pancakes were really good. My bf ordered the denver omelette. It was not a traditional omelette rather scrambled eggs folded in half. Pretty affordable for breakfast. Coffee was okay.

This was my first visit to Pancake Palace. I went on a Thursday around 10am. The place was pretty busy but our wait to be seated was minimal. Our waitress was very attentive considering she was all over the place. I ordered the eggs Benedict with country potatoes and a mini stack of pancakes on the side. The hollandaise sauce was broken where you can see a little bit of separation. The eggs were cookes too long or were left in the water because the yolks were not runny. The country potatoes were good and flavorful. You can definitely tell the pancakes were made from a mix. They make their pancakes sorta thick so the outside is nice and golden but the inside still seems doughy.

Not as good as I would have hoped. The service was typical diner style and very good and fast. The food wasn't the greatest. The pancakes were rather rubbery, and the rest was just standard. Probably won't come back here.

After reading the reviews, I figured this could be a good place for breakfast. I ordered coffee. It's a dark brew but it tastes like dishwater. Suggestion: pick up a Starbucks on the way. They want $3 for coffee, so Starbucks will only cost you an extra 25 cents. My waitress tells me the omelettes are excellent, so I ordered the bacon, swiss, and mushroom omelette with pancakes. The omelette was folded over and the Swiss cheese had been placed in the middle. It wasn't warm, let alone melted, and the entire omelet was around half an inch high folded double with the cheese. The omelet was overcooked and hard, but I ate it anyway. I want going to cause any trouble. I chose the pancakes instead of hash browns and toast. You can see the huge stack. 😁 The problem is they have too little salt in the mixture, and they look great but they're tasteless. So was the pancake syrup. I left over half of the pancakes, but I ate the whole omelette.

Let me first say the staff was so incredible literally no complaints. I sent my eggs back three times I cook eggs every single morning, and I’m talking about like 4 eggs… I am very familiar with how eggs need to be cooked and what is safe to eat versus not eat They kept sending me raw eggs The waiter was like asking me if I understood how eggs were supposed to be cooked because I kept sending them back and under no circumstances should anybody be eating the clear whites of on egg. That’s how salmonella is spread and this restaurant just like is not good at cooking eggs. I will say the pancakes they cooked were delicious and I had no complaints with the rest of my meal, I got a chicken fried steak that was perfectly cooked. Their cooks just have no idea how to cook eggs apparently because I sent my eggs back three times before I just decided to not eat them.

The food was bland and did not look good. The potatoes had no browning or crispness, the eggs were grey and the cheese had a very bad aftertaste. The peppers were uncooked, usually peppers are Sautéed or slightly charred. The best part of the meal was the English muffin and that is sad. The service was good but the atmosphere and menu presentation was extremely lackluster. The food pictures on the menu are poorly done and definitely do not entice you to select them as your dish of choice. It's unfortunate because if they put more energy into presentation and cleanliness, while correcting the small things with the food (Fresh ingredients and more care in cooking methods) they could be much better. Lots of room for improvement but all doable.

I try to have breakfast here at least once month. Usually I get good service and good food. This time the service wasn't good, neither was the food my food was cold and my potatoes were burnt. By the time I got the remade food. I was just mad. 25.00$ in the garage. And some the potatoes were hard. Not a happy customer.
