Today I finally decided to try La Asuncion. The food is good! I tried tlayudas with quesillo, chorizo, y tasajo , the service was friendly . I really recommend this Oaxacan Restaurant!! And the music was good,so was the service,and best of all the food!!!and next time i would like to try the molcajete......

The food was delicious but the service was disappointing at times. But, the food definitely gets a second chance.

The service is horrible!! But the food is good. If your Hispanic they treat you twice as bad but still the food is good even though they serve you a little chorrito de comida ( a little little bit of food served) little serving of rice and beans , how will I ever get full. Little pricey too.

Tlayuda was delicious but service was bad, long waiting and the place only had one family dinning. When I order drinks, Jamaica drink had no taste. They had no chilacayota drink and the hot chocolate that I requested was not even hot .

First time trying this place today. Went in with my son we were the first people there as we went a little early. Service was friendly and restaurant was clean and full of pretty colors. Pretty quiet at first. Than when people started to come in they turned a tv on. Food was good my son enjoyed his oaxacan quesadillas. Only down side was the horchata oaxanitas. My sons was fine but half way with mine it smelt like spoiled milk. I didnt want to finish it nor did i complain. I was just really excited to have one cuz its been forever since ive been to a decent oaxacan restaurant. Ill probably give it another chance.

Good service but food has no flavor. Tlayuda needs avocado, more tomato, pork lard and beans need more flavor.

My boyfriend and I went to eat their the food was horrible the pork that they put in his Starbucks cubano couldn't even be cut with the sharpest knife. The one-star is because it looked deceivingly good I don't recommend eating here
