Cheese steak sandwich is always good and tasty. Combined with fries and a pickle if you like. Topping it with what ever you enjoy drinking with good food. And that's all I can say about that. If you're in the neighborhood drop on in and check it out.
For a sports pub the food and service on point. Bartenders and servers are super attentive and deserve their tips. Cook hasn't let me down yet. Plenty of space to hang out after a game during the week of you are looking to hang with some teammates after a weeknight game. Give it a try and let me know your experience.
Came as a tourist from the UK. I saved it after watching bar rescue in the hope that one day I might pass. Years later I did pass and went in for a burger, beer and game of pool with the wife. I was told that the episode was many years ago! I think not many people go there for that reason anymore and the last review that mentioned it was 2 years ago. Still, we wanted the US sports bar experience and we got it. Staff were friendly. Also the burger was delicious! Not cheap by my standards but then apparently nothing is in LA.
Nice neighborhood sports bar. It had a good vibe and enough tv screens to show all of the games on. The food was good! I recommend it for a meal, drinks and to watch sports. The parking is very limited, so you will likely have to park on the street!
This girl Britney who was being rude to the staff. She was complaing even though she just walked in and no ones ever seen her before. I think she was a red Sox fan. Dodger blue baby! I didn't try the food but the atmosphere is on point. 10/10 service will recommend this place to all my friends and family when they come to town.
Frequent visitor on pool league nights. Wide variety of food choices, always hot and plenty to eat. Service is pretty speedy but sometimes we're forgettable. Fun place to watch sports, lots of big screens.
Good food, watched the Nats get destroyed by the Brewers, fun times
Met some friends there for late night karaoke, so no food. classic sports bar, friendly staff, I will be going back soon. 🤙🏼🥳
Cozy and comfortable place. I like going for the pool tables. they host a pool tournament every once in a while, not sure of the schedule . but is very fun to go and watch. they have a good menu for eating and a full bar with any type of drink. beer selection is excellent as well. overall is a good place for locals to hang out and enjoy a good time with friends
I went here while my kids were at Universal Studios. Great place to watch the Niners beat the Steelers...the BLT was very good. The potato salad tasted great, like homemade although I was told it probably comes from Sysco.
Just saw the Episode this Bar was in on Bar Rescue with John Taffer hopefully one day I can actually experience this bar in California I have been watching the series and seeing which are still open glad to see this one is. 🙂
Played pool and had bar appetizers. Nothing special about the food. I parked in front and watched all the sports games that I love. Can't say anything bad cuz it was all good. Bartender was awesome. TVs were efficient. This experience was the epitome of sportsbar! If u wanna have a drink and watch a game go here!
Will have to go back. Old school joint with food, cocktails and of course beer. Not the best prices in Burbank, but it's definitely worth a visit or two or three.
I don’t often put reviews. I have been is this bar a few times and everytime, is a good time. Good food, good drink, good environment and atmosphere. The naw bartender and face for me “Amanda” if I am not mistaken is very friendly, polite with professional attitude. Definitely deserves good tips and professional attention from clients.
The bar is a really good place to get a drink or get food. I don't know why people give them such a bad ratings because they were not treated like a king or queen of the world! I say, If you want the best 5 star sports bar in world then go somewhere where they offer it! Just make sure your pockets go deep enough tho. In total, i love this bar! It's better than some other sport bars in the area.
Great sportsbar. Fun times with watching my Yankees make th3 playoffs.
For a place like this I had a pretty great experience. The people that work there are amazing, they treat you like a good old customer. And they don’t bother you if you only got there for a drink 🙌 (and my drink was served with extra care). 👍 easy parking 👍 amazing, friendly staff 👍 thank goodness something is open in Burbank past 9pm
Great local sports bar. Shows ever game possible. Always a good fun crowd. New food items are the bomb!
Lots of room, cold beer, good food & vibe @ good prices. TV's everywhere to catch your team. Not a RAIDERS bar but happy to see they representing like I do from 80's LA RAAIDERS!
Was in town for a few days for vacay and ran into this place on a Google search. Definitely a neighborhood bar vibe with a lot of regulars from what I could tell from hearing them talk. Staff was friendly and kept checking on us. We only had a few drinks but would go back if I'm back in the area.
I play pool league at Champs and love it! It's so well liked by pool players there is actually a wait list for teams to play here! Great bar for sports, karaoke on the weekend, fairly cheap drinks- convenient for Burbank and NoHo locals, easy street parking... so happy to have Champs as a neighborhood bar!
We love this rockin place! Great all sports bar with pool tables and space to hang out with friends 😁 Everyone of the staff is a joy to talk to and provides top notch service ! Pup friendly and great food (philly cheese steak, fish n chips, tuna melt and the all day breakfast burrito are my favorites)!!
Delicious food ice cold beer friendly staff ate on the patio birds were chirping the pear blossoms or cherry blossom trees were full of flowers outside there was a nice breeze going it was a perfect experience when I needed to kill an hour or 2 waiting on my car to be serviced I will definitely be coming back
Great local sports bar. Plenty of tables and plenty of TV's to watch a game. The staff will change the channel to the game you want to watch. There are 2 pool tables, darts and a jukebox. The Buffalo cauliflower was so good. Club sandwich was OK. EDIT: Second time at Champs. Its a really great aports bar. They have most sports on and they will change the channels and audio for the audience. I doubt you'll be disappointed. We wish this was our local. ❤️👍
Always love this place! Met up there this last Tuesday with a group of a dozen or so long-time (almost 40 yrs) friends to surprise one for his B-Day, it was wonderful!! We got there at 5, set up, got some drinks and the guest of honor pulled in a little after 6 - surprise!! We all had good comfort food/ casual dinner/appetizer-type, etc food and our joined row of tables along the wall opposite from the bar evolved into our own private little front-of-bar. The waitress was great and handled us, the pool Leaguers and the smattering of other patrons handily and the bartender was spot on (even with my old school bartender customized "tall cool dirty Absolutely bloody and lemony" maries - consistently made them perfect). We finished up around 11: and couldn't have had a better time! Thank you, Champs - we knew we could count on you!!! 5-stars!!!
Very good food, plenty of seating, lots of tv’s to watch all the sports ranging from football to basketball, baseball, they host pay per view fights. Plenty of tables and seating as well. Let’s not forget very friendly servers.
The best place to drink and eat 😋 and watch sports games.

Here for friends and a Dodger game. Great crowd, lots of people, cold beer and hot taquitos.
Great sports bar. Didn't eat but the drinks were delicious!
Awesome place. The wings are second best in LA, didn't behind the Ye Rustic Inn. I only avoid this place on Friday nights, because the karaoke crowd is insufferable.
My first time visiting. Invited by a co-worker to watch the Dodgers play (lose to) the Padres. While the game result was disappointing, the visit to Champs was good. Has a fun atmosphere, with great music being played, cold beer, and good appetizers and main meal.
We love coming to Champs it’s our ge to go place to watch games, play pool and hang out with friends, the staff is amazing
Great service here, I came in a busy Sunday with a group, and the bartender and waitress could not be more friendly, positive, patient, and FAST! I was waiting at the bar, and the bartender made eye contact with me and said "be right with ya'!" Excellent vibe from the employees. I had the nachos and the hot dog, they were really good! Fresh and fairly priced. Keep up the great work!

I've been here a few times before, when my Cowboys aren't playing on local TV. That's usually the early game tho and all I ever enjoyed there was a breakfast burrito (which is very good). This time I came at 1:30p for the afternoon game and am pleased report their homemade potato chips are still AWESOME 👍🏻 but they're tuna salad sandwich is the absolute bomb 💣 (had it with the thick, beautiful onion rings)! I think I have a new favorite thing to order even if it's for breakfast 🥞 The wait staff is overworked but as quick as can be expected. And although the outcome of the game wasn't to my liking, the food and this place was VERY likable! 😁
Stopped in here to kill some time. Seems like a cool dive bar. Everyone was friendly service was great. The place was busy for a Wednesday.
Pretty comfy little bar, it's definitely for older folks, but the food is 7-8/10 and the drinks are pretty cheap, I'd avoid ordering mixed drinks because they're on the weaker side, but shots and beers are definitely cheap there. Also, they have a good selection of beers, so that's a plus. Servers are very pleasant. Shout out to Bobby. They both simultaneously won't disturb you but will still reach out to inquire if you need a drink. For me, it's a nice place to go after work or a stressful day and unwind, and if I had more money, I'd be here more often.
This place is one of APA(American Pool Players Association) league 9ball game sites. They have 2) 7' valley brand pool tables which are kept in above average condition, with tournament felt on the table. Its a sports bar so there's at least 6 large screen T.v's, there's food (fish and chips is always good, make sure to order it with an extra piece of fish, this is the best value)This atmosphere is casual and pretty friendly.Theres also a juke box. Like sports or to play pool check it out, and have a drink and a bite to eat enjoy!
The bartenders are cute and cheerful. The regulars are welcoming. I give it four stars instead of five because when I brought my beautiful best friend (I'm a looker too) they asked us not to drink there anymore that night just because we were drunk, loud, and generally causing mayhem.
Came in for a UFC fight and it was not such a bad experience. This venue would benefit from more TVs and added seats. The cover was only 10 dollars and the waitresses were very attentive. Would definitely come watch another event here
Local above average sports bar. It's our go to for anything live that we want to watch. The bar is fully stocked with a nice variety. Food is good basic bar food. The one exception, so far, are the Sidewinders. F-ing A those are spectacular! It's sort of divided into three sections inside - the main room, pool table area, and bar area. Have fun.
Always fun. Staff is friendly and personable. Tons of Tvs and good food (big portions)
My husband and I are doing market research for a bar we’re planning to open. We learned about Champs on Bar Rescue. It’s one of the few places that is still open to this day, so we had to check it out for ourselves. We walked in and no one really acknowledged, or greeted us for the first 10 minutes. We both used the restroom which could have done with some cosmetic upkeep. The bartender was extremely friendly to my husband (we failed to catch his name) and our server Amanda was super nice and helpful once we got her attention. Can’t really blame her, the place was pretty full and she was the only server on the floor. The food was outstanding! We had the Champs burger with regular fries, the Western burger with sidewinders, and ballpark nachos. Our only regret was getting chili on the ballpark nachos, but that was our choice. With everything we ate and the drinks we shared, our tummies ended up being a little angry about that chili (remember Grandma’s Boy?). We had a well vodka soda with lemon, an old fashioned, 2 Lebron Jamesons, and a Bee a Gentleman. All were good, the Lebron was our favorite (hence 2). We shared control of the jukebox (TouchTunes) with some other patrons who liked the same music we do, so when we heard a bunch of Judas Priest and Tenacious D come on, we were stoked. With 2 full dinners and 5 drinks our total was just over $100. More than fair and absolutely worth every penny. It’s clear why Champs is still open. Not sure if it’s the same owner who opened it back in 87 but I believe it has lasting power left in it. Recommendations for Champs: Keep an eye out for new faces in the bar. Even just a “hi, I’ll be right with you” goes a long way. Repair/replace the women’s bathroom door.

Classic local sports bar with solid bar eats and lots of games on the TVs. Friendly and accommodating.
We have stopped there several times for food, drinks and to watch games after visiting Universal Hollywood. Very friendly and attentive service. Even once, when I was dieting, they accommodated me by bringing me two turkey burger patties.

It’s a bar. They’re pretty divvy bar at that. But, it’s the only thing that’s open past 9 PM Burbank. Staff is not terribly friendly and in some cases flat out odd. Great fries though. Pool tables, darts, and some outside seating makes it a fully acceptable place to go drown away your worries.
It was very run of the mill. Average in every way.
To start no parking I ordered fish and fries it was greasy I ordered a coke it was flat, I this is the place I went to years ago a bit run down but I guess this is what bars are supposed to look like, it maybe just me but didn't really enjoy it, not to my liking.
