Can’t say enough good things about this place. We’ve had large kids birthday parties here, to sushi date night and even a few drinks at the bar. Excellent all around.
Food was every good and the sushi was excellent. Definitely fast and nice service. Will be back
It was a lovely Friday. We made reservations for 7 and were seated right away. Dinner was great, and the show was fun (very practiced, but fun nonetheless).
Great, fun place, delicious food
Went to Miko's on an invite and was delighted to have some amazing food and service. We sat at the bar area, and started dinner with miso soup, which was delicious with plenty of flavor. Next up was the main dish of Spicy Maki roll which has 3 different types of sushi pleasantly arranged. For the amount of food and drink the price was really good. For a drink, I had this lychee martini that was quite sweet but refreshing and complimented everything ordered. Service was amazing and very attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an enjoyable meal and atmosphere.
Fantastic food. Excellent mouth watering combinations. You can't go wrong with this grill. I've been here twice and each time was an experience in culinary delights. The flavors were just right nothing over powering.
This this restaurant was a lot of fun although expensive they do cater to large groups make sure you get there on time or your table will be giving away quite a few couples brought their children with them and the children sat there mystified by the pyrotechnics as well as the food we arrived at 6 p.m. and left by 8 when we left there were at least a hundred people waiting to be seated at the front door make sure you call for a reservation the atmosphere was great and the service was better I would definitely return to this restaurant and enjoy it but sitting at a table and ordering normal food without all the fanfare
We go here for hibachi. Fun when we need it to be…”showtime” when with kids and friends….. a “hibachi” when we need to eat and don’t need a show Always tastes great.
We always have a wonderful time here. The service is excellent, the ambience stylish and we love the sushi. This visit we had the shishito peppers and blue crab fajita appetizers, both tasty. We had the angry dragon roll and the double toro roll, both delicious and fresh. The hot sake through the meal was satisfying and we finished with espresso tini's for dessert. Very satisfied and looking forward to our next visit.
Very clean, service is great, atmosphere is elegant but refreshing.
If you are looking for wonderful ambiance, delicious fresh sushi and hibachi Mio is the place to go.lunch specials are very reasonable and generous portions. The service is great and everyone is so friendly. Splurge the calories and have the fried ice cream. You won't be disappointed.
My favorite hibachi on Long Island, and the East Coast for that matter. For those of you that have been away for a while, this place used to be called Mio's but some idiots from Oregon that own the place of the exact same name, threatened legal action. Really stupid as they could never pose competition. The sushi is amazing as is the sashimi! They even have a creative thing called sushi Pizza, which is so meaty (filled with fish) and tasty! Their fried Oysters are amazing and anything made on the grill is divine!
Always a good experience getting hibachi here. Only slight, small issue seemed to be that they might've put a little too much of the salt and pepper combo on the food, but that's a small issue entirely.
I like this place for sushi, the other place that we used to go to their quality and quantity have gone down. Then we tried Miko and it was fantastic, their Hibachi food so far was consistent (not too salty or bland by different chefs).
My first experience at a hibachi restaurant and it was great. The food was delicious and the chef was so entertaining. We will definitely do it again
Very good food. Well staffed. Very clean. Best hibachi. I personally love this place.
Great meal at the bar. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent
Our Hibachi cook was so entertaining and really prepared our meal well. He made sure to keep our food separate due to food allergy restrictions. I would absolutely recommend this place. It's a great atmosphere for adults and kids.
I went to this restaurant for my friends birthday. Service was great and so were prices. The hibachi soup had spinach in it which did not belong and the rice was not as flavorful compared to other hibachi places. they also had paper straws which were also not the best. over all great experience. the cook was hilarious and made the experience personable and enjoyable. would definitely recommend.
Had my graduation party here and it was amazing. The hibachi show was fun, the service was quick and attentive, and the food is amazing. We were able to bring some home due to some people not showing up and had it as leftovers. I would definitely come back to just have dinner without the hibachi.
My family and I always have a great experience here. Staff is always friendly and attentive. This is probably the best hibachi I've had in Long Island. They have a lot of options on the menu and they're vegetarian friendly for those that are into that sorta thing. The hibachi sauce is addicting! We can't get enough of it and it's keeps us coming back for more! If you haven't tried this place, you have to check it out.
I came here for dinner last night with my mother and daughter on my mother's recommendation after my daughter said she wanted Japanese food to go out to. The food was delicious, (I especially loved the ginger salad dressing!) the environment was very nice. Servers and hosts were very attentive as well. Will definitely be coming again next time I come back out to the island!
All good - very fresh, very nice/smooth front desk, easy to order. Keep in mind - looks like bad reviews here are 2 years and older. I like larger sushi pieces but that is just me. Very pleasant place overall.
This has been our go-to sushi restaurant and our favorite hibachi restaurant. The appetizers are always perfectly cooked. The hibachi is flavorful and made with consistent quality of ingredients. The sushi and sashimi is always fresh and always precisely made. We have had box lunches, quick takeout, and even special event dinners. Tonight we ordered takeout and it was packed. When I got home, several items were missing. It was evident that they forgot to give me a bag. I called them up, and they asked what I was missing and how many bags I received. They then asked my address and said they would deliver it. It arrived while we were still eating, (we couldn’t wait)! This is the kind of high quality customer service that makes a customer for life. And makes a customer submit a glowing review online. We are ecstatic that they made it through the shutdown period during the pandemic.
Great experience! Went for a birthday celebration and the habachi chef was engaged and fun. The hostess stand was very accommodating for our large party and the waitress was great with the recommendations. The mai ti was delicious. Strong and juicy like she said!
Consistently good! Our go to sushi place. We love all the veggie sushi options, especially sweet potato and inari. The Yaki Udon noodles are our favorite. Spicy edamame are great starter.
The food here is consistently amazing. The decor is tasteful and fun and the place is immaculate. The sushi choices are both traditional and original- all of which are delicious and presented artfully. We've eaten here over a dozen times and have never been disappointed.
Fantastic experience, the staff were amazing and well trained, nothing was too much trouble. The chef who took care of us was funny and made us feel most welcome. The food was phenomenal 100% recommend
The food here is always very good. The servers are so nice and helpful. The decor looks trendy and beautiful but the restaurant is comfortable too, great lighting. I use to eat here often before the pandemic but since last year I have ordered take out only and it never disappoints unlike someplaces where you feel like the portion is smaller or the quality is lower. I usually get the hibachi salmon. This dish is loaded with fresh veggies; sugar snap peas, white beech mushrooms, thin slices of red onion and green and red pepper. You get a generous portion of salmon and a side of white rice plus a green salad and your choice of soup, great deal for $23... I always have leftovers for lunch the next day. My husband gets the sushi or sashimi and he's pretty picky with his fish but says this is one of the better places in the area for quality and the skills of the chefs. The hot apps are great too, any of the dumplings, the spring rolls or the ocean gyoza are perfect to share. Glad to see this place has maintained it's high quality after a rough year!
Top notch service which is what matters most. Engaging and polite staff. the food is all great too nothing bad here!
Very impressed! Super busy night, and it worked like a well oiled machine. Front end manager Steve really knows what he's doing, and does it very well. The food and service were impeccable. Yummy! Will be back over, and over!
Great first hibachi experience for our kid!!!! We had the salmon, steak, and chicken. It was perfect!!!!!
The food is absolutely delicious and healthy. Even the take out is very good. Lunch specials are reasonably priced. I go there often. Hibachi grill is great!
MIKO Sushi and Hibachi in East Northport is one of the better sushi and hibachi restaurants around. The staff very nice and helpful. It is always fun to bring the Kids or Grandkids to enjoy the hibachi show. The place has a nice bar area when you come in. There is plenty of seating all around.
Fun place Good food - good service Been there several times with small grandkids
My wife and I had a fantastic lunch here. Everything was great food, service and atmosphere. First time going here but definitely will be returning. I had the Hibachi chicken with rice, it came with a soup and salad for a reasonable price. Also had Sandy City IPA on tap another bonus.
Can’t be happier went there for my sons 9th birthday it was such a great experience great atmosphere. The food was amazing so much we took the rest home . They also came with ice cream to the table and sing Happy Birthday !! It was a great experience!
Excellent food and service. My group of 8 had a variety of entrees including sushi, seafood and chicken. Everything was well prepared. Dishes were generous, most of the group brought some home.
Miko Sushi & Hibachi is one of my favorite spots for both sushi and hibachi! The food always goes above and beyond, from their simple sushi rolls to their gourmet creations, and the hibachi, whether for lunch or dinner, is always delicious. I often come here during lunch or order takeout, usually getting the Steak Hibachi Lunch Special or the Two-Roll Special, and it never disappoints. The ordering process is quick and easy too. If you’re looking for amazing sushi or hibachi, this is definitely the place to go!
Always love coming here for their hibachi, the cooks are so fun and make the experience enjoyable. The hibachi always taste delicious, I usually get the fillet with the lobster, their sushi is so fresh as well. It’s a very fun place to bring the family together.
I’m gluten free and soy free. They served me a soup and salad with consideration for my allergies and are very kind! I got food cooked separately from the kitchen white rice is cooked plain they can use butter instead of oil. The soup is tofu, seaweed, scallions and broth. California roll is also a choice!!! 10/10 overall experience!
We have been coming to Mikos for several years. Today was pleasantly different. We were greeted by Sunny, the manager who was very welcoming. He made my children laugh, took our drink orders and frequently checked in with us. I haven’t seen him before so believe he is new and a great asset for Miko. Our chef Smmy was fun. Overall a phenomenal experience! Our waiter Carol was very kind, helped my children pack all their food to go! Big portions
We drove from Farmingdale to go celebrate my sister’s birthday at MIKO Hibachi. Great place to visit and highly recommend. Staff were great from start to finish. The cook has magical hands because the food was AMAZING. I ordered the Salmon with fried rice which includes 2 shrimps on the side and mixed vegetables. The service was great and the atmosphere was aesthetically pleasing. They even brought out a birthday cake for us at then end of our meal. Well deserved 5 stars!
Overall fantastic experience! Went during a normal busy lunch time but were pleasantly surprised to be seated quickly and efficiently. We were greeted by our server right away and he did not hesitate to answer any questions we had. The food came out quickly and was delicious. We ordered the hibachi lunch combo (chicken, steak) and the 'Pick Two Sushi Rolls' (Alaskan, Cali). Ended up being decently priced as well coming to $35 and change for both meals. This is the type of place you can do a regular lunch or a cute date night! We will definitely be coming back!
The food was to die for! Had the chicken hibachi fried rice and it was literally the best I’ve ever had. Got the Napoleon roll, paradise roll and spicy tuna roll as well. The tuna was so fresh you could see that it was so fresh! The service was also amazing. Every few minutes someone came to check on the food and the table was cleared right away.
This is the most elegant japanese restaurant in East Northport. It has regular dinning and hitbachi and a full bar. It serve lunch, happy hour and dinner. Their signature cocktails are very remarkable. My favour is Mai Tai. Dumbs up. Others are as good too. I love the ambience here but the best is the service and food. Once I walked in I was welcome with a big smile by Jimmy the manager. He took me and my gf to my seat. I felt good already. Then my server came over and introduce herself. Her name is Una. I asked what is their specialty. She gave me a lot of recommendation and explain to me in detail. She also told me just in case she is tired up, I can get help from anybody including she boss too. LoL. I order a few items from the happy hour menu and it was above and beyond. The best thing is, I drop my chopstick and this female server Tiffany brought a new set over to me without me raising my hand and ask for a new set. The rest of the server are very nice too. They always wear a smile on their face and I see that they are very patient with well knowledged. This is the best place in the hood. I will strongly recommend to all my friends and bring them here. Food are excellent service is great price is right. What can be better. This will be my new hot spot. I love it here.
Lunch is a nice value - had a short rib bento box for $15 with tax and tip. Granted did not have a drink - but this was lunch. Hibachi service is available, had it a couple of times there - okay. Standard stuff - flaming onion volcano and the like. Nice meal with a show.
It was a great place in general although I was really hoping for some live pigs and goats. They were not very cooperative about the fact that I had brought my own suspecting this issue would occur. They said it was "unsanitary". Once we got in we found out there was a perfect amount of hibachi space for all my pets. We had to move one turkey because he was afraid of fire. Unfortunately the chicken couldn't come because he was offended. The monkey didn't like the shrimp but all in all everything was great. The pigs and goats had no issues.
Hibachi experience is nice. Hibachi food is pretty good, although vegetables aren’t cooked enough. Sushi is fresh and good! Staff could be friendlier and more attentive.
Nice place for a date in the Elwood area. Their sushi seemed fresh, and their waitstaff was friendly. Bartenders severely lacked experience - referred to Heineken as a "craft beer" which was laughable during happy hour.
Beautiful restaurant, incredibly high quality tasting food, best organic chicken I ever had. However! We felt rushed by the waitress, if I'm going to spend over $300 with my family, I'd like to take my time and enjoy the place. We were rushed 10 minutes later after the food was served. If it wasn't for that I'd give 5 stars.
Food was delicious. It took a very long time for the chef to come to the grill. My husband ordered Gluten Free that had to come from the kitchen. His food was out in 10 minutes while we were waiting so he ate before everyone. They shld have timed it better.
Great place for Hibachi. Food was what you would expect. Enjoyed our evening there. Would go again.
We usually go to Samurai in Huntington Village, but they were booked up at the time we needed to go so we picked this place randomly based on an online search. We enjoyed it overall. Atmosphere: The hibachi room is pretty tightly packed, lots of hibachi tables close together. Noticed that they have a nice seating area for those who don't want the hibachi experience. The service was efficient and friendly, and the menu was solid. Most of our group got hibachi so we got to enjoy the hibachi chef, who was entertaining. Food: The hibachi itself was good. We each got something different; chicken, shrimp, beef short rib, combo. All were good, but the beef short rib was hard to eat with the bone left in. We ordered some different sushi rolls too. Some were better than others. The peanut avocado roll stood out and was really good. The tuna avocado roll and yellowtail scallion roll were just so so. The fish seemed to be on the dry side and it was cut in relatively small pieces compared to what I'm used to. The rolls didn't have too much rice. (Good for those watching carbs.) But they were rolled slightly loose so fell apart a bit. The seaweed salad was fresh and delicious. Overall impression: Overall we enjoyed it and nothing would stop us from going again, but Samurai remains our favorite.
The place gets very busy and suited for all types. It ranges from a big after work crowd at the bar to families with children at the booths. The servers are accommodating and the food is decent. It is pricey but if your looking for something to do that is kid friendly that the same time, does not make you feel like your in a "kid friendly" type restaurant, this is a good place.
I gave service 3 stars because the waitress forgot our appetizer, she wrote it down. We asked for more water for the 4 of us, she took one glass and walked away with it and watched her refill it near bar area. She bought it back and walked away. Food I gave 4 stars because the angus steak in my udon dish was tough. My husband and friends enjoyed their different entrees from mine. Also, we had to find the waitress to ask for the check. I would go back to give this restaurant a second chance, but not order my previous dish.
Miko in Northport is a delightful dining spot that consistently impresses me, earning a well-deserved five-star review! Consistently Great Experience: Having visited several times, I can confidently say that Miko never disappoints. The quality of food and service remains top-notch with each visit. Delicious Lunch Specials: Their lunch specials are a standout feature. Offering a variety of tasty options at great prices, it's the perfect midday treat. Warm Atmosphere: The ambiance is inviting and cozy, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, Miko in Northport offers excellent food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for both frequent visitors and newcomers alike!
The food here was absolutely amazing, but be prepared to spend quite a bit. This place is definitely on the pricey side, and while the quality mostly backs it up, the cost still felt a little excessive. My boyfriend ordered the steak hibachi, and the steak itself was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. However, they served him an almost comical amount of zucchini — nearly half the plate was piled high with it. It felt a bit unbalanced, especially given the price point. Overall, the flavors and execution were excellent, but for what you pay, the portions and sides could be better thought out. Amazing food, just very expensive.
We didn't have the best hibachi show . Our chef wasn't very friendly. He seemed annoyed when I asked for my meal to be cooked a certain way When I told him it was my daughter's birthday he gave her an old and dirty balloon headband.
We really like the food and the people working there are nice and friendly but the prices seem to be inching up. There are never any coupons, not even the Birthday ones. Lastly, the take out portions are very small. We were very disappointed.
Ambiance and décor was well above their immediate competitors and compared to every Hibachi restaurant I have dined at from Midwest to NY. The performance, presentation and food quality was average. Sushi was higher quality than competitors and would be equal to the restaurants that specialize in sushi in the area. The sushi portions appeared smaller than the average portion size especially compared to the price.
Went for the third and probably final time. Food is pretty good so it’s not a knock on that. Sushi is very good and priced like any other place. The portions are ridiculously small. Almost 30 a plate for for dry rice, 4 pieces of shrimp and possibly 3 ounces of steak. Icing on the cake was they got both orders wrong. Spent 84 dollars to leave hungry.
We waited over an hour for our dinner order. That was not good, especially when it started to snow really bad. Food was good, chef was entertaining but the wait was really hard to take.
We had hibachi and our chef was really nice and food was good, however the waiter service was not good. From the moment we were greeted by the hostess and waiter taking about drink order was all very rushed and seem bothered they had customers.
Atmosphere and restaurant was very nice. The food was good and the Hibachi Chef was fantastic. The reason I rate it a 3 is because it's moderately price but the hit you with unrevealed extra. No free refills on the kids drinks. They never mentioned that they were charging and I was surprised by the additional charges. No big deal but you should advise on extras. They also messed up my wife's fish twice and still charge her for it. Should have been complementary since she was still waiting to eat after everyone else was done.
We had 2 ok sush rolls. I found they were lacking texture and just a big mush.i. The restaurant is modern, nice lighting, but very noisy. There was a waitress behind me talking on the restaurant phone takimg orders etc, very annoying. Also the Hibachi room is loud celebrating birthdays, alot of kids. Would I go again, not sure.
Came In recently for a scheduled hibachi dinner for my birthday with my family. Food was delicious, hibachi cook was entertaining and friendly, but unfortunately our waitress made it a bit of an unpleasant experience enough where the good food and entertainment couldn’t really seal the deal. She wasn’t friendly at all, seemed like she was in a rush from the start of taking our orders taking our menu’s being quick and one worded with replies to questions on things. She also refused to make my brother a expresso drink for dessert he wanted. As we were finishing up eating our desserts she comes over and starts taking our plates and my mother and father actually had to tell her they weren’t finished. When she gave us the check, she stood watching us in the door way until she saw my parents signed it and had it ready to give back. I don’t know if she had somewhere to go or was arguing with someone whilst at work and was in a bad mood but it would’ve been nice to just have a different server for the experience otherwise everything else was very good. I’ll give it another chance in the future!
Service has gone down recently. I was at this location about a year ago and it was much better. The food tasted better too. Don’t know if they’re cutting costs or just not training the staff. We got there after making a reservation and had to wait another 15 Minutes before sitting down. Was looking for more of a show from the cooks. Overall, the experience and food was OK. I hope the place turns it around as you could see. This is a good place to go to usually.
Great time but i was really disappointed by the portions. I left still hungry. I’ve been here so many times but this was really the first time in awhile that I went for hibachi. For the price we are paying, the portions really need to be better on the proteins. Even the vegetable portions got smaller. Service is always awesome and the chefs are always energetic and fun. Please don’t leave us hungry..
Went here for lunch with my daughter a d cousins. Ordered hibachi lunch and some apps. The food was ok. The problem we had is my 13 year old cousin asked not to catch food and the chef thought it would be funny to fling a piece of broccoli in her face. It wasn't funny. I will never go back.
In the begging this place was one of the better in the are but recently it has gone down tremendously. Staff used to be friendly now there rude. The food used to be amazing now it’s just bad. Last time my family I went I found a piece of metal in my rice! When we had pointed it out to the manager he had said it was from cleaning. They didn’t even offer to replace it! Honestly I’m just happy I found the shard of metal before I ate it.
I usually love this restaurant, but today's birthday celebration take-out lunch for my family was very disappointing. My husband and I thought that our local grocer's sushi had more flavor. We also felt that Miko's had skimped on the amount of eel in our eel roll when comparison with previous orders there and in comparison with other restaurants. While I appreciated the extra eel roll they had mistakenly placed in my 2 roll order, I'd specifically requested that soy not be used or included with my order and that no sauce or dressing be used or given in it to avoid tthe possibility of soy ingestion. Unfortunately, that 3rd roll mistakenly placed in my take out box contained a soy based sauce that leaked onto a portion of one of my sushi rolls, making that portion as inedible, unsafe, and/or life threatening as the 3rd roll was for anyone with soy restriction. The soy's presence in my food was completely unacceptable to me. Because I recognize that a restaurant has a bad day or gets an order incorrect from time to time, I won't count them out as a place to dine yet, but I will definitely be watchful and insistent that I be served a soy free meal.
If I could give a negative star I would, 30 mins for apps to get to the table, hot dish for one person arrived, 40 mins later the sushi arrived. Not sure how they’re running a business sending out hot food 40 before sushi which is raw. Also wasn’t buys at all and there was 4 sushi masters working…
Have been eating here for years never had a bad meal this past Sunday ordered a ton of sushi and it wasn’t fresh despite the manager telling me how fresh it all is. Never complained once to them as had no reason wanted to offer a great customer 5 or 10 dollar refund. Huh need to learn how to take care of your customers and good customers at that
The minute we walked in as a family of 6 we got attitude from the guy in the front (we also had a reservation) and as soon as we sat down the lady taking our drink orders just seemed annoyed and kept rolling her eyes. When trying to ask her a question about stuff on the menu she huffed and answered with an attitude. Literally the last time my family and I will be coming here. They need to learn some manners if they’re going to work in this industry.
UPDATED REVIEW: Ate here a few more times with friends and all of us had massive diarrhea each time until we realized it was their cooking at fault! They cheaply use vegetable oil versus the proper oil for high heat cooking such as sesame oil, etc. The result is that you get a very upset stomach since the wrong oil they use acts as a laxative! I spoke to the young manager the last time there and asked him if they used sesame seed oil for their cooking and he said only vegetable oil and didn't know if it was corn oil or virgin olive oil, both of which would cause a laxative effect at high heat levels. I told him that they must use sesame seed oil or another proper oil for high heat cooking but he did not seem to give a damn. So as a result I updated my prior rating to a one star rating!
The food is trash! They use the cheapest oils that made us all feel sick on Monday morning! Seafood is of the lowest quality. The service is terrible. they literally only care about how much money you spend and leave. They don’t provide the quality of services to even begin to have that attitude. They rushed the entire hibachi experience because we didn’t have a full table. This is a complete waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor and try another Hibachi place.
First, stop the conveyor belt! There is no reason to rush customers meals, food runner was clearing food we had not yet eaten to make room for other plates. Second, fire your expediter! The courses come out one atop the other. Too fast, the customer cannot enjoy their meal. Third, stop trying to take the plates away, people at the table are still eating, very disrespectful. Fourth, zero ambiance! In other words, don’t go there if you are on a date. Fifth, never again! Clearly this place is get them in and get them out.
Horrible experience. We were basically sitting on people's laps waiting. After being sat the waiter was the worst rushed our order then forgot to bring my pregnant fiancé her food and never checked on us. He knew he was wrong because he didn't bring us our bill trying to avoid the conversation. The food and service was comple garbage. Never going there again.
Owner is extremely rude and condescending when asked a question regarding payment. I will never return
Given this place too many chances!! My office orders from here because it’s close and they deliver, yet we all shake our heads every single time. They are so rude when they make a mistake and never own up to their error. The order is never, ever right. Wrong rolls, wrong order all together, never happy with the delivery tip, the list goes on and on. There’s a diabetic in our office who asks them to hold the sauces, which they never do. They are always poured over the top of her rolls. She spends the majority of her lunch break wiping them off with a pile of napkins. Would love to know what type of fish they are using for yellowtail… it’s totally tough and full of stringy muscle. Gross. We normally Tip $10 for delivery and have been told by the driver that it’s not enough tip! If that isn’t rude, I don’t know what is. They do have the best spicy tuna in for miles. I’ll give them that. Wish the management was better. I’ve only eaten at the East Northport location. Can’t speak for the other one.
Bunch of crooks! Go to Aki on larkfield rd instead. I have been coming to Miko for 10 plus years. However they hired some new manager who referred to himself as MJ and thinks he is “special”. I ordered from the catering menu which I frequently do as my family enjoys sushi. I was told that they are very busy and could not take the order as they don’t have capacity, however I was informed I could place the same order off the non-catering menu, for an extra cost. So clearly capacity was not the issue! When I spoke to MJ and told him that I have never experienced this ever he began arguing with me and shared that the catering order is only for when they are not busy! Are you kidding me! When I told him that I will be leaving a review on Google and Yelp and describe this atrocious behavior he stated, and I kid you not “I have your number and know where you live.” Seriously guys, this happened, to which I invited him to come over and talk to me face to face - at which point he hung up. So please support me and ban this restaurant or at least until “MJ” is shown the door. I btw don’t believe he gave me his correct name but he was the manager on duty.
Terrible customer service. Been going there for years both dining in and taking out. Service is terrible, you guys consistently screw up take out orders, we call, and your fix is to offer to deliver the missing food in 30-45min. Your main concern is making sure we understand that you won’t credit us for the whole dinner, just what’s missing. Your “account credits” are useless as at this point we’ve had multiple credits that never seem to get applied. The icing on the cake is when I came in to get my order recently, you obviously didn’t make it and had me wait for 30min on top of the 30 I already waited after ordering over the phone. I ordered a seltzer at the bar and you tried to charge me for it! You screw up my order and then want to charge me for a water while I wait? I literally had to explain to your host that I was not paying for a water. I have a big family and our orders always exceed 150$. As a business you should understand we are not looking for any freebies just for you to get your stuff together. Stop blaming the kitchen as you do every time you mess up the order and hire better employees who can take direction. It’s worth noting that every time you guys mess up the order, you don’t even apologize.
We ordered from here and dine in somewhat frequently and have always been very happy with Miko but tonight we ordered sushi and hibachi for take out only to find a staple and a piece of plastic in the salmon avocado and tuna avocado. While they felt bad, when we notified them they didn’t seem surprised. Makes me wonder what their cleanliness is like.
