We went for brunch on Veterans' Day. They did a fabulous job of honoring my Veteran husband. There was enough food for both of us with their signature pancakes topped with strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream for him and 2 eggs with sausages and hash browns for me. Thank you IHOP.

Breakfast, classic American IHOP. Our waitress was the best and pointed us to the 55+ Menu. Don't expect designer coffee or hip ambience, but the food will be well cooked, the pancakes fluffy, the restrooms clean.

The food was great and the service we excellent. The price seemed a bit steep at $42 for breakfast for two with tip. Of course, nothing is cheap in Marin County these days. UPDATE: 3/22 Went back for the first time in a couple of years due to the pandemic and still give it five stars. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. The prices have gone up some in the last few years, but it's less expensive than most of the restaurants around. It's definitely worth the price.

I have eaten here only a few times but it's good enough to go back. Usually I get the pancakes but this time I got chicken and waffles. The pancakes are very filling. Chicken and waffles somewhat less but very tasty. I think now you have to request the different flavor syrup. I think it was always on the table before. Now they just bring original standard. Worth the trip.

When we arrived, there was seven guess waiting to be seated. It was a Sunday morning. To my surprise we where seated less the 5 minutes. The lobby and seating area was very clean. Out table was also clean and silverware was so clean we could see our reflection on them. The service was great and food was hot and perfect to the taste!

Great service, yummy waffle but what's up with the Turkey bacon ??? Pork bacon should be an option. Coffee was horrible and tasted like it sat on a burner for hours.

As usual, the food was what we expected (we've been here before, often). IHOP is one of our favorite and convenient road restaurants in Novato.

Food is good, waitress asked if I wanted more pancakes for my all you can eat pancakes and promptly forgot to bring them. Apparently you now have to wait and pay table side.

Good food but very slow service, ordered ahead, called when I arrived and it took 5 full mins for them to come to the door to give me the food I could see on the counter inside.

We had pretty good food. The girls got pancakes with fruit and smiley faces on them. I had an omelette and my wife had eggs Benedict. The hash brown's are never crispy even when you specifically ask for them that way and the staff seems very rushed and not very happy. Overall it was Okay.

It's IHOP.... Wait is not too long and food is good. We had a really good service last July 3, 2022. It looks clean and food was warm and tasted good. You can't expect a fine breakfast - it's just IHOP breakfast .... BTW I like it once in a while.

The food hasn't failed me here. The portions could always be better, service is generally good. Price is good. The manager does walk around making sure everybody is taken care of which is really nice. There is one servers that I try to stay away from to be honest but that's just me.

Our food was good ab came out nice and hot. service was ok. It wasn't a busy morning but my son had to ask three time for his refill and I had to ask twice for mine. They charged me the side of sausages and they had to make them to go since we didn't get it while we ate.

Service was 5 star. Food was 1 star. Got an omelet. The egg was rubbery and brown. There were bits that were either shell or dehydrated hash brown, either way...ew. previous visits have been good, so your experience will vary based on kitchen staff.

We stopped at IHOP in Novato while traveling through. The initial impression was a clean restaurant. We were greeted quickly and sat at an open table. There were only a few other customers at the time, around 4:30 pm on a Tuesday. A visit to the restroom was unpleasant, at best. My family had to use both bathrooms, both of which had a very strong sewer odor, as well as being unclean and lacking necessities, like toilet paper and paper towels. The staff is obviously allowing the bathrooms to go unattended. The food we were served was just fine. No complaints there. In my opinion, the store needs to invest in plumbing repair. The shouldn't be sewer smell venting into the bathroom. Which can then vent into the restaurant.

If I had to guess why we were literally the only guests in here at 7pm on a Monday evening, it would be the volume at which the cook and waitress are talking shit about the guests. We literally walked in friendly and looking forward to eating a crepe 😂 Take it down a notch maybe? May the road rise to me you in all the challenges to come. And may your attitude flop like them pancakes if you actively make the choice everyday to stay this way. Bless you friends 🙌

Coffee was weak and lukewarm, friend's tea was a new, poor quality brand, her teapot leaked all over the table, good was so, so. What has happened to IHOP?

Standard breakfast fare. Pancakes, bacon and eggs. Overpriced for the food and coffee. The syrup is hard to swallow when you are used to maple syrup. Why don't they have "real maple syrup" and charge $1.50 extra for it!? I'd visit again if that was the case.

Ordered the jr Mac & cheese for my toddler and two servers confirmed it was microwaved. They do not cook it fresh. Will not be ordering this ever again. I’ve never heard of a restaurant serving microwaved macaroni, not fresh cooked. Very disappointed. I returned the plate and my kiddo was very upset because he was looking forward to the macaroni!

Service was terrible even though there were only 3 tables bring served. Waitress more interested in her phone than helping customers. Waited 15 minutes to place order with only 1 modification, no peppers in my wife's order, she is allergic... 20 minutes later, her plate is the last to come out... Loaded with peppers.. First Waiting on the front disk for more than 10 minutes with no body looking at us until one of the Latinos kitchen guys run to the waiter that she was eating and talking in the kitchen to told her that there's a customer's outside then she look at us with full mouth of food like surprised there's a customer's, second the floors are so dirty so if outside like that how is the kitchen looks like im not gonna risk my health in a dirty place disappointed 1billion%

Slow service and the chicken fried steak was horrible. The gf waffle was OK and fries but overall this doesn't deserve more than one star. I usually like IHOP but this is one IHOP I won't revisit.

My family went there today, boy do I regret it. I ordered the Country Friend Steak today. When my food came the Broccoli was dry and starting to get black. The steak had something weird. I also ordered Cinn-A-Stack. It supposed to bring three pancakes but it only brought two. It did it look nothing the the picture. And the waiter was so mean, my mom said a word incorrectly while ordering and the woman corrected her in such a mean way. I won’t go there for a while.

Sunday 10 am Everything seems OK, but I did notice that in the place were sections, in one section were Hispanics and another section were just white American people, seems kind of discriminating.

The waitress forgot about us after we were seated. When I got a waiter's attention and he came to our table, I told him that I think our waitress forgot about us - my boyfriend and I had been waiting a while. The waiter just rolled his eyes and said "I'll get someone to take your order." We waited another 15 minutes for someone to take our order.

I had a party of four and had been waiting for 20+ minutes when a family of 5 showed up and a friend employee let them pass and were seated before everyone that was waiting. I asked to talk to the manager and he sent a waitress to talk to us and didn’t show his face. He asked us to call him at another time when it wasn’t as busy. It was unfair to the employee for the management to do that. Incredibly rude by the employee to let his friends and/or family to let them in before those that had been waiting. According to the hostess it happens a lot.

Eggs were uncooked and clear, bacon chewy and undesirable. Was missing order of pancakes, bad service.
