We probably won’t order their kitchen entrées again. We tried the chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu, and both dishes had very dry chicken. The teriyaki also had an overpowering smoky, grilled flavor. I might come back to try the sushi, but I’ll be skipping the kitchen entrées from now on.

I have taken my family to Osaka for years, all well. A problem has developed concerning gratuities. Osaka now dictates how much you must tip as it appears on the bill, computer generated. Usually parties of 6 have a tip factored in. Osaka does this for all diners regardless of size. I addressed my concern with the waitress and was told, “That’s what we do with all customers.” This dictated gratuity is outrageous. I will not return to Osaka.

I came here expecting exceptional service but the service was lackluster. The waitress didn’t even smile. She never asked me how I’m doing or refilled my water. The manager was a different story. She smiled, asked me how I’m doing. The manager got me a fork, cleaned off my table, got my check, and even fruits at the end. The orange could have been seedless thou. I did find 5 seeds. I doesn’t cost a lot for seedless oranges. This is my first time eating out that I wanted the manager to get my tip instead of the waitress. I had 3 types of sushi totaling 18 pieces. I had soup but there wasn’t any big pieces of tofu or enough seaweed that I’m used to seeing in other Japanese restaurants. I also had the chicken teriyaki. The food was ample and delicious. Especially the teriyaki chicken. The only reason I would return here is because of the professionalism of the manager. I’d rather have the manager serve me than the waitress.

The food wasn’t as great as we expected. Pretty bland didn’t have much taste to it. The fried rice was really bad. I don’t understand how you can mess up fried rice but anyways you can check by the pictures. Wasn’t appetizing and I wouldn’t come back here. I was going to give this place a 1 star but because of the service I added another star.

I gave this restaurant 2 stars because the ginger salad and the non spicy regular rolls (salmon/yellowtail rolls) are good. You can actually pick them up with your chopsticks without it disintegrating. The miso soup doesn’t have any taste at all. The spicy tuna is atrocious; you can’t even pick it up without all of the tuna falling out. I also ordered a shrimp tempura roll and I also couldn’t get it to my mouth in one piece. The nori just ripped apart. Will not be coming back here. I used to frequent this place a few years back but never again.

Absolutely terrible food and customer service! The tuna smelled stinky, and spoiled! We also found a curly hair in our sushi, and a metal wire in our edemame beans! I will be reporting to dept of health, stay away!

i found nasty hair in my sushi and my tuna sushi smelt like expired tuna and when we complained she said not her problem and i found a needle wire in my edamame and now my stomach hurts #help #goanywwhrreelse #run #therefishisalive

We have been long time customers of this restaurant but sad to see what was once a great place had turned to badly run place by a money hungry rude new owner. This new owner provides rude service and poor quality food. We ordered 3 dishes and they were terrible. My wife and I left half of our food and lamented how what was once a great restaurant is now a dump because it is under new owner…no longer Vicky. To add insult to injury, the new owner who also served us had the audacity to automatically add 20% tip to the bill. For her rudeness and terrible food, I decided to pay cash and only pay for the food and taxes. 0% tip. She got furious chased us to the parking lot in a threatening fashion and told us never to come….news flash! WE WILL NEVER VISIT AGAIN REGARLDESS. please avoid this place like the plague.

Just had a solo birthday dinner here and it was a horrible experience due to the extremely rude and nasty waitress! It’s a good thing they impose the tip on the bill because otherwise she wouldn’t get any tips due to her nasty attitude. Told her she didn’t deserve the tip. Her response ‘I call 911’. Very nasty and very loud and defensive if you complain about the food. In my case, the shrimp tempura was cold inside some pieces. She got really loud and defensive. Rest of the food just ok. Never going back and do not recommend! I see now why it’s always empty.

Extremely poor customer service. There was a bug in my food and the chicken teriyaki was in a watered down sauce. I called to complain about the worm in my broccoli and was told they would give me 10% on my next order but not send me a new order to eat now. On top of it they charged a “gratuity fee” delivery fee I wasn’t told about over the phone, so I paid the delivery person a tip on top but saw the receipt after.
