Fine adult establishment. Great drinks and good bartenders. It is off from the main Telegraph and Broadway bars so is not as packed or uncomfortable on weekends. The inside is a lounge filled with furniture of that sort. I like the skeeball machine upstairs in the loft overlooking the bar. The music is great and if you don't like the crowds on First Fridays you will love it here.

I love this bar! Great cocktails and pretty good beer choices. The atmosphere is great, music isn't too loud, there is skiball upstairs to play, and a good amount of seating. Might not be my first or last stop of a night out in Oakland but it's usually on the list.

The handsome fella with the bowling shirt treated me and my friends so well even tho we came in the last 45 minutes. He let us have our drinks and enjoy the ambiance. He specifically told is not to rush🥹. He made me want to come back just based on his energy, and the drinks were fire too!

The whole place is a nice smooth vibe. The atmosphere and the bartenders are Awesome and on point. I had a blast and can't wait to go out for another date night. Best cocktails in the East Bay at the best pricing. Bartenders are friendly and every drink is amazing! If for some reason you don’t want a cocktail, their beer and wine selection is also on point. Anytime folks from out of town visit, I take them here.

Had the nastiest interaction with the male bartender this past Sunday where he yanked everyone's drinks from them without warning. Several patrons called him out for this rude behavior, and he actually went up to one of them and slammed a $20 in front of him and asked if that would "make it all better." I told him the way he was acting was simply uncalled for, and he told me "go write a yelp review." I just moved here and was looking forward to this being my local spot, but I think I'm all set.

My friend and I were trying to enjoy some drinks here, but during our visit, she was physically assaulted by one of the staff members, completely unprovoked. Shockingly, the bartender broke a wine glass in my friend’s hand, causing serious injuries, with blood everywhere. This incident occurred well before 2:00 AM when my friend was simply trying to finish her drink. Management tried to justify this excessive force by saying it was “the law.” How do you enforce the law by breaking it? Using unnecessary violence is never acceptable, especially when it leads to someone being hurt. What made this situation even worse was the lack of appropriate action from management. Instead of handling the situation with care, the owner completely disregarded the seriousness of the assault, showing a total lack of accountability for what had happened. No customer should ever be treated this way, and it raises serious concerns about the safety of this establishment. My friend, and every other patron, deserves to feel safe when out enjoying themselves. Unfortunately, this bar has proven they do not prioritize the safety of their customers. Until Drexl Bar takes responsibility for this incident and implements significant changes to ensure their patrons’ safety, do yourself a huge favor and avoid this place at all costs.
