I wanted something new and local! I googled and found this spot! Entered and heard area natives calling out people who stopped in saying “yeah, why you stopped coming… this been the spot”🤣😍 The place is small but the family have a system- looks like four generations! A bunch of call in orders coming in as well as people stopping by! I loved it! I was glad I made it at the beginning of lunch. Reminded me of a sandwich spot that closed in my hometown. Sandwich was hot , fries hot plus my favorite soda come on what more could you ask for???😍

Nice local find when we wanted a sandwich. Cash only. We came right before the lunch rush and saw lots of people in and out getting hoagies. I got the hot Italian hoagie as it comes. Their fries are the big steak fries and they were perfectly fried. If we're in this part of Oakland again we'll definitely stop in for another hoagie. My friend has the cheese steak hoagie and also thought it was bomb.

I found this place by chance because my kids have activities around the area. The service was extremely fast, made to order, and if I must say, I received my order within 7 mins of ordering. They are very generous with the protein, the combo came with a can of soda and fries. I give them bonus points for not adding salt to my fries, as this should always be adjusted by the need of the person eating. The cheese steak tasted great and bread was not soggy. My 5 and 7 year old certified the food, that says alot.

It doesn't look like a deli or sandwich shop, indescript. But it's the best Hoagie in East Bay. I got the Steak Hoagie, with extra veggies, mushrooms and peppers. Set came with can soda and fries. Wow, best Hoagie meal yet and more than worth the price. Its huge, adult size!! Not some whimpy little thing like at fast food chains.

I've been coming here for years and honestly I walk away fully satisfied everytime! The steak hoagies here are so full of meat and add ons are affordable! I wish you got a little more fries with the combo but it's good! Seems like the service has improved since the last time of us being here. And the restaurant could use a slight face lift but with the cost of everything these days, we're cool with the hole in the wall look! I would recommend they change their fry grease... Possibly get a POS for folks to use a debit card... And if they started a Doordash, they would really make a killing outside of how well they are already doing, but other than that 5 stars! We recommend them and will return.

I always get the Steak Hoagie, add extra cheese and light jalapeños. The combo comes with fries and a drink, never been a fan of steak fries but when you add the seasoning salt on them they get the job done. Hands down one of the best Hoagies in the bay in my opinion. CASH ONLY

Hands down the best hoagie spot I’ve been too! @bayareafoodz on tiktok did a good review on Mill’s and the food looked bomb. So my husband and I just had to check them out. Their steak hoagie is fire! I’m definitely coming back. We came in right when they opened on a Saturday and noticed that they were getting busy with phone orders. So order when you can!

This was my first time here and it was a little difficult to find. The signage was written on paper placed on the window. This is a no frills type shop. I ordered the bbq steak hoagie with everything. It was delicious and full of meat. They only take cash and the next time I will try the regular steak hoagie.

Ordered a steak hoagie combo for $17.50 and asked for everything to be well done (bun, meat, and fries). I chose a strawberry kiwi Snapple with the combo and paid an additional $1.50 for a Shasta Tiki Punch on the side, bringing my total to $19. I was given the wrong drink and then told I’d have to pay an extra $1 to get the Snapple — even though I already paid extra for a second drink and the Snapple should have been included with the combo. The bun and fries were soggy despite requesting them well done, and the sandwich barely had any lettuce or tomato. For the price, the quality and service were unacceptable. Very disappointing experience.

I used to love this place but today the experience here was disappointing. Not only was the person who took my order rude but I found a hair in my sandwich. I’ll never return here again after today.

The customer service experience was unsatisfactory. The employee taking the order for the sandwiches was unprofessional and lacked respect. I placed an order for five sandwiches and was informed that they would be ready in 15 minutes. However, I arrived approximately 15 minutes later and inquired about the status of my order. The employee responded that I had already been informed, I said it was the other guy you were talking to. I guess we all look a like. This incident raised concerns about racial stereotypes and discrimination.

Not good at all. Got the steak and cheese with everything... heaping portion of dry meat and cheese smoothed in mayo and topped with 5 shredded lettuce and tomato. The steak is very chewy, some pieces felt like meat bubble gum. Cash only which worked out because I only bought one sandwich and shared it. Glad I didn't buy another. Can't recommend this place.
