I would say it one of the best Vietnamese food I had. Especially I'm a vegetarian and Vietnam food fit well to me. I ordered their recommended choice of fried noodle and it taste and look wonderful! They service is nice.
Yummy food. Had rice plate with marinated chicken and mango smoothie. Friendly service. Definitely coming back when visiting the bay area.
Nice beer selection and the shrimp & eggplant #38 is very good.

Just tried this place last night before seeing Primus at the Fox Theater. It's now our go-to restaurant before a concert at that particular venue. Such flavorful food and the staff are so sweet. Thank you for a memorable experience, Pho 84!
Love this place! I come here for lunch often. The #19 (chicken plate with eggrolls) is a great combo if you're hungry. Good portion and fresh. Kind to their customers and very quick with service! Ask for Hai! He is the best!
The food is soo delicious, my family and I always get the pho shrimp and chicken soup with a side of egg rolls which are my favorite! We’ve been coming here for many years and love it very much. Service is great too, very kind and generous!!
neughborhood is still sketchy sadly. and its a lil pricy but the food is as good as ever
As someone who has eaten at hundreds of pho places across the country, this is hands down the best pho and Vietnamese food I've ever had. Delicious broth, quality meat with solid portions. Clean restaurant and quick service. I go here once a week and they never disappoint. Drive here from wherever you are. It's worth the drive, worth the $$ They are the BEST!
Besides delicious food and friendly service, the bathrooms were spotless and fragrant at 8pm!
Generous tasty chicken pho bowl served quickly with sprouts and jalapeños on the side. Nice vibe. Friendly staff and take out patrons seemed to be regulars. Was told the soups are simmered 10 hours.
Best ginger tea I ever had. Great service!

Tried Pho 84 for the first time and ordered the veggie pho — it was light and fresh. Just a heads-up, there’s an extra charge if you want a large bowl. The Vietnamese iced coffee was mild and smooth, but it was pre-made instead of the traditional drip. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the service was friendly and the vibe was relaxed.
Great pho. The meat was delicious and noodles were really good! We also ordered the imperial rolls with the chicken, shrimp, and crab and those were delicious as well. The broth could have been a bit better in the pho but overall a really good meal. Even the service was spot on the whole time. The only downside to this place is the price. I've had better pho at half the price.
I've been wanting to come here on Sundays but found out they are closed on this day. This place was actually recommended by the owner's nephew who I know. Good thing tonight I happen to be nearby and decided to come in. The restaurant is clean and has got a good decor. Food and service is quite good. I ordered the grilled pork vermicelli. To my surprise it is not your typical Vietnamese vermicelli. I would consider it fusion Vietnamese. Instead of a bowl the meal is served on a plate. It looks like they are trying to accommodate the Western taste in every way. I was most impressed with the egg rolls. I normally don't like the standard Vietnamese egg rolls which are stuffed with some unknown mushy meat. However, the ones here are stuffed with ingredients that you can see and know what they are. Overall the food experience was good. I can't wait to find out how they serve their Pho and rice plate on my next visit. A couple of things to watch: parking is awful around the area. It's better to come at night. During the day it's all metered parking so that will add cost to your meal. Secondly, prices at this restaurant are about 50% higher than your standard Vietnamese restaurant. I normally pay $10 somewhere else but here I paid $16 plus tips. Still a good experience.

My partner and I slipped in at 7:50pm on a Wednesday and were really happy to get a seat and a quick bite before they closed. The host/server was very kind and the kitchen was fast. We loved their tofu spring rolls and I thoroughly enjoyed their spicy beef salad. I would definitely recommend this place to others, the spring rolls and peanut sauce alone are worth the stop.
Pho is a 7.9/10. Good portions. Too many onions, not enough salt. Broth is good. Good servers. Not too busy at night. Good menu options. More expensive than other Pho places in the Bay Area.
Found on Doordash, was craving vermicelli bowl, ordered it came quick food was delicious , moderately priced. I'm just pissed they are closed on the weekends! I But they are now my Monday-Friday place if I want Pho

Food is always great, and the #3 and #4 noodle soups were staples of our shelter-in-place takeout rotation. Our recent experiences with in-store dining has been a bit mixed - somewhat rude service. For example, before the soups came out and I asked for basil because it hadn't come on the plate of bean sprouts and jalapeños, and the guy said it's because I had eaten it already (plain, stems and all??). But... My veggie and tofu soup was delicious and my partner loved his chicken and shrimp soup, so... We'll definitely be back.
I got the beef pho and the flavor was fine but the noodles were all stuck together in clumps which made it difficult to eat as well. My friend’s pho has the same problem. Don’t think I’d go back because of that

Great service, and the food was served quickly. Ordered Vietnamese Chilli Sate. Unfortunately, the chicken tasted like it was stored in the freezer for many years, and the dish I ordered happened to have only chicken with little onion. But the sauce was good. I wish they used better and fresh meat and put some vegetables in the dish. The taste of the chicken made me believe that the chicken they used was cheaper than vegetables. That's why there were no vegetables in the dish at all.

I’m sorry I don’t usually leave reviews but this was the worst pho I’ve ever had. Everything was over cooked and soggy. The noodles were so over cooked it was like eating thick porridge water. The fresh spring rolls were old and slightly warmed so the sprouts and lettuce were leaking. I’ve never given anyone 1 star but I was pretty shocked, especially after paying $50 for two phos and spring rolls. There are a plethora of better spots out there, I was just trying a new place. I’ve been disappointed before trying new things out, like most of us who explore food spots, but I have never written a review, that’s how bad the food was here. Included a pic of soggy broken noodles.
