Five stars! This is easily one of my favorite spots in town. The lattes are perfectly crafted and the cold brew is incredibly smooth—no bitterness at all. The shop itself is clean and cozy, making it a great place to relax or get some work done. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the friendly and helpful staff. They’re always welcoming and make you feel right at home. Highly recommended!

High Tide Coffee is a gem, and Elizabeth is a big reason why. She immediately understood my gluten-free needs and offered amazing suggestions with such engaging energy. Her recommendation — the Kickin’ Cottage Cheese Avocado Toast — might be the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced sweet and savory flavors that melt in your mouth. She introduced me to the Moon Drink with an extra coffee shot — smooth, bold, and exactly what I didn’t know I needed. The whole crew radiates good vibes, there’s plenty of outdoor seating, and the café is right next to adorable local shops. This is the kind of place you want to linger. I’m already planning my return visit tomorrow!

High Tide Coffee is fantastic. The new ownership has really taken this coffee shop to the next level. It’s the best coffee shop for families—kid-friendly and so welcoming. Rarely is there a place where I can enjoy a cup of coffee where my kids are comfortable, let alone looking forward to. I ordered a black coffee, and it was perfect, their roaster did a great job. The shared space adds a cool vibe, making it more than just a coffee stop.

The staff at the coffee shop were very helpful with suggesting drinks to me. I came out here for a documentary premier which was lots of fun. It was cool to have lots of common with the owner. This location is a perfect place to have some coffee or tea and enjoy the sunset. There are other businesses located under the building so if you are looking for a quick gift , swing by.

Rare found cafe along highway 1 along the beach... love the outdoor seats and overall atmosphere - garaged-turned-cafe style - cozy and lovely. Coffee is 9/10. Quality home and clothing are selling nextdoor, great mixture of business ideas. Lovely.

Creative latte flavors and lots of milk alternatives. SPACE - Located in The Rising Co (a local co-op) this space is dreamy. LOTS of indoor / outdoor seating. Has both indoor counter and a walk-up order window! SERVICE - Best baristas... friendly and talented.

The staff were so friendly and gave me some truly great suggestions (I highly recommend getting whatever they tell you!). Whether you’re stopping in for a quick cup or looking for a spot to hang out, this place is a must-visit.

High Tide Coffee Co is no opened to the community and they offer a nice variance to the coffee scene in the area. High Tide Coffee Co is located within the RISING CO building complex just off of S Coast Hwy. So make sure you look for that signage. They've got a shared parking lot in the front and street parking available on both side streets. This is good for now, but it MAY pose an issue during busy hours. It's a good thing they are also on DoorDash and take pre-orders online & via call-in. The entire vibe is for their branding is cute and inviting. Their interior is very trendy-earthy and colorful. But one shortcoming is that they have minimal seating options inside. There are only 3 tables. Luckily, their exterior seating has more benches and group-seating options. Their service is fast, friendly, warm and inviting. I love their merchandising with the cute logos. Their menu consists of staple classics like: cold brew, espresso, americano, latté, macchiato, cortado, cappuccino, and mocha. They also have specialty options like: lavender honey, rose cardamom, snickerdoodle, candy orange mocha, chachaccino, matcha chaga, and moon milk. They also have a few teas and hot cocoa. For foods, they have some solid basics like: breakfast burrito, acai bowls, avocado toast, assorted pastries and granola & chia parfait. I especially appreciate that many of their pastries are vegan & gluten-free. I enjoyed my seasonal special drink, the Espresso Paloma and it was a tasty variant to the typical coffee drink. I also enjoyed my snickerdoodle latté. I'd like to make a small note to pet owners: Although there's a notice that they DO NOT ALLOW PETS (only service animals) - this is not strictly enforced : thank goodness. Overall, I like what High Tide Coffee Co is bringing to the area and they provide a nice variation to the 'average café' and they have personality.

I was a bit confused by the service. They started off nice, but when I politely asked if my two pieces of toast (ordered 15 minutes earlier) were ready, it felt like I was interrupting their friend chat time at the counter with other friends. Then told me she was making it now. When the toast finally came out, it was unfortunately super burnt. The coffee, though, was really good. I’m just bummed about the service portion of it. We usually go to the San Clemente location three times a month, and the service there is always outstandingly amazing in San Clemente.

You can tell the workers are quick to fib as a reflex of fouling up often. After getting our drinks, they forgot our pastry because of their chatting with each other, I ask, and the immediate reply is “it just came out”. (It was warmed per timer when we ordered and had cooled down since sitting in the toaster about 10 minutes later. His fib was her prompt to get it out of the toaster oven.) We ordered a small chai latte and the cup was half filled. I almost just left and took it as whatever, but considering his fib about the pastry, I opened the cup and asked if that’s typical to fill a small latte half way. His reply was that it was foam to the top (half the cup, which is more than half the volume of the cup because of the shape) and he claimed it had just evaporated away in the 3-4 minutes since he gave it to me and was sitting waiting for the pastry, and said if I wanted less foam I can ask next time. As if I am new to the cafe world. A latte mind you, not a cappuccino. Quick fibs with such confidence. They’ll make great dirt lot car salesman one day. High Tide gets stars for the layout and menu. Great job with that. Good seating area.
