We quit going here for a long time (about 3 years) due to cleanliness issues, the lack of. I decided to give it a try again and was pleasantly surprised. It seems that management has it back up to standards. I hope it will stay that way. This is a great place for those times you can't decide what you want to eat. Good job!

Service was slow, Meat griller/ handler could use more training & utensils instead of his hands, looked so unprofessional handling the raw meat and placing on the grill with bare hands. Over all hot foods were decent!.

I always enjoy eating at this type of place because I can mix and match whatever looks good and choose my own portion sizes. Today the food was plentiful and very tasty, and the service was just ok. The atmosphere was loud and crowded, but that is too be expected here.

Went for Christmas dinner, only dark meat turkey mostly bones, no ham, potatoes cold, no pies. Terrible experience for the money. Not recommended for two elderly people.

Upon arriving I explained to the hostess/cashier that I just had gastric surgery and asked if I could pay by weight like a to go order since I can only eat between 1/4 & 1/2c of food. She shook her head and only charged for our grandsons and my husband. I got my bit of food and went back to have it weighed, she didn't say anything to me and went and got the manager. He came over and I tried to explain what I had told her and was wanting to do. He was incredibly obstinate and told me things like this needed to be addressed before paying. This should have been dealt with before we even paid for the rest of the family and went on to repeat himself multiple times in front of all the other customers as well! He stated he would make an exception this one time. I tried again to explain what I had told the cashier and he ignored me completely. I told him I wanted to be honest and pay for what I got. Again he was admonishing and repeated what he had already said. After I ate I reached out to him to share that I was reporting this interaction to corporate. He straight up told me I was lying about the whole thing! I told him that if his staff could not understand English it was not my failure and he could address that! I was asked to leave. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Another person who is in my Bariatric support group said she lives in Midland and agreed, that manager is terribly rude. More their signs. Not anything the manager feels necessarily important. Pretty sad!

So i was in the neighborhood of the corral and i decided to stop by for dinner,i wish i had made another choice The minute i walked in i could see leftovers in all the tables, i asked for some sort of meat or steak..i got laughed at on my face..all that was avalaible at the carving station was sausage and dry pork ribs..i made my rounds looking at the food and i am very very dissapointed how this golden corral that used to be a great place to enjoy..is now nothing but a fast food joint with horrible service..dont bother coming to the golden corral ..you will wish you had stopped at the chinese buffet instead of thid dump

This is one of the most disgusting golden corral's ive ever been to. The food was very dry and overcooked, we never had a waitress come by and ask us if we needed a drink refill, the entire buffet area was disgusting and one waitress was sweeping the floor towards our table instead of away from us. Server was awesome Upon leaving there was a gentleman that asked the manager if he could work and clean up the front for a meal that he was hungry. Went on sep 8,2025 for dinner buffet and everything was cold n nasty looking the line cooks jus kept adding hot water to items to rewarm them. The waiters in our section where too busy chit chatting than serving or bussing I had to get up twice to refill my own drink. The Mac n cheese n mashed potatoes where clumpy n hard. $80+ is crazy for cold n nasty food. The short Mexican woman manager with a buzz cut could care less of our dissatisfaction. They also had the line cooks dusting open vents over the food on the line how is this place even open still

Place to order tonight through DoorDash have delivered ordered unsweet tea but I got sweet tea. I got a roll. It’s hard enough put a hole in the wall. Try to turn only excuse was all I got a new cashier tonight. Apparently the new cashier can’t read so I’m paying $20 for a male that sucks You order from this place. I rarely visit this place to have a meal and today I decided to give it a try and unfortunately while we were eating we encountered a Cockroach on our tabletop! We advised the GC team members about it couple of times and never did nothing about it, we stood there waiting a little longer for some attention and still nothing was donde about it! There were no glasses to drink from and then several of us had to wait while employees refilled other drink cups from fountain. There was no tea just fountain drinks so we walked out. Will not be returning due to cashier also being rude about it.

I was sorprise with the Menudo it’s horrible , it’s looks so nasty , it’s looks like brown almost dark the menudo ! We paid for come to eat , if you see the profits has gone down it’s because the food it’s not the same ! And the Cuban manager not is the same manager now he only been seat and they don’t care the food as before !! And plus the omelet they put to much butter and burn they need to change the pot .!
