We just went this evening 10-31-25 to check out this place, and it was so good. I am so glad I read the reviews especially about the server, Jessica. She is so wonderful and made ordering so easy for us. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know. We will definitely be back soon. Happy early birthday Jessica hope its a great one!

AMAZING! Our server started off with great service and answered all our questions and even mixed our soju and beer!(Thank you Nick!(?))ALL the food was amazing, the kimchi and cucumbers were my absolute favorite sides and the soondooboo was so good as well. Everything went so well with the meat that was also very delicious. I hope that a lot of people can try and enjoy this place!

Wonderful! $20 lunch buffet and get anything on one side of the menu to eat, $30 dollar buffet get anything on the other side of the menu (bigger buffet for about $30 weekends and dinner). Comes with several meats like spicy beef bulgolgi, veggies, and sides like rolls, potstickers, rice, and soups, etc. You order as much as you like and they bring it. Super staff. This place has also added several sushi rolls to each buffet and appetizers. Love the soup and I-20 roll! $20 lunch buffet is absolutely worth it.

Fantastic food, great selection. Our server was awesome, very attentive. Would highly recommend this place, next time im in Midland im paying this place another visit! Shame I only discovered it today. All you can eat, food cooked in front of you, sushi selection is fantastic and delicious. The food that's cooked in front of you comes out so good.

AMAZING! If you don't know what to order, ASK FOR JESSICA to be your server! She's the best! Great personality and great recommendations. I've had lots of Korean BBQ and this was close to the best quality meat I've had in a Korean BBQ setting. All-you-can-eat deal is more than worth it for the value, quantity, and quality of food you get. The owner (Jo-Ling?) Was there in the front to seat people with a warm smile. And she checked in on me after the meal to ensure I was satisfied. You can tell the staff enjoy their job and work hard to create a positive experience! If I'm ever back in Odessa again, I'm coming here 100% next time.

Volcano Korean BBQ & Sushi is an amazing spot. It’s a Korean food buffet, but you can also order à la carte if you prefer. We went for the buffet and tried about five different sushi rolls—every single one was delicious! Super fresh and flavorful. The service was EXCELLENT. Our waitress, Yailin, was truly top-notch. It was our first time there and she explained everything to us in great detail, was super patient, and even recommended one of her favorite rolls. She made us feel totally comfortable and not clueless when ordering. Each table has a grill in the center so you can cook your own meat if you order it, which looks like a fun experience—even though we just had sushi this time. Highly recommend this place, both for the food and the service. We’ll definitely be back!

MOUTHCASM ALERT!!! This is a recap of my wife and I's personal experience on 02/01/2025 at about 6:30pm.. $30 and you have unlimited access to the entire menu!! Shout out to our server MARI who was probably the best server I've ever had anywhere ever!! The food was delicious and after ordering way too much food, I personally recommend the beef ribs and spicy bulgogi for beef lovers! Sushi was delicious but if you are there for the buffet I'd limit the sush intake as it's kinda heavy and makes it hard to be a glutton with the meats. Took some pics of my wife and I pigging out so you can see for yourself.

I absolutely love this place. As a first timer i was highly impressed. The atmosphere is very comfortable, wasnt too loud. Angela was our server and i am beyond impressed with her performance. She is very welcoming, very informative. For the least to say she deserves a raise! For food we did an all i can eat, no matter what choice i made it was all phenomenal! Will be back!

Amazing food! Waitress was fantastic and super helpful as it was our first time. My husband and I were confused on what we were supposed to do and she didn't hesitate to take over and get us started. It was worth the price! There's no takeout containers at this place, so be careful with the amount you're ordering. P.S. to all my super big girls and guys, the booths are very accommodating for big people. Trust me!

First time here, I had a hard time understanding our waiter at first but he was very patient with us. And his supervisor came by to explain what he was having problems explaining. But all in all it was a great experience. It came with a sample of very different veggies that I had never had, so at least I know now what I like. Will definitely come back soon.

As always, leaving my opinion totally genuine, I don't remember give to other place 5 stars, but this is one of my favorites for several reasons: the food, even though it has to be prepared, tastes very very delicious, there is enough variety for this buffet, They have sushi rolls, Korean soups, beef, pork, chicken and seafood and various appetizers. The place looks very nice to spend time as a couple or with friends who like this type of food. I would just like to say that they try to take care of the place (for example the restrooms),since it is worth having a place like this, and that's it.. everything is very good.

If you love meat, this is your spot. It’s truly meat, meat, and more meat. The portions are huge, the price is reasonable, and it’s all‑you‑can‑eat. Everything was flavorful, and I loved that they even give you butter for the grill. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, and there was a surprisingly large selection of appetizers and veggies too — definitely something for everyone. Big meat, big flavor, big value. Texas does it big, and this place proves it.

Great place to have Korean BBQ. For being one of the first in odessa I've always had great service and good food. One major differencewas my waitress omai, who update me on all the sauces they offer other than the main ones presented. A yum yum sauce, spicy ketchup, and soy sauce are always present. You can request Sriracha and a few others but over all the three sauces work with most food items. However the atmosphere is always friendly and inviting while maintaining good speaking volume at your table. I will definitely be returning to see what improvements or changes they bring to the menu.
