Always quick service, even on the busiest of days. The staff is always nice and listen to what you're telling them for toppings and how much you want on the sub. Hands down my favorite place to get a sub!

All our family seems to love these subs! Mother in law and husband can not get enough of the Italian Combo. The like the mixed sandwich. The Russian dressing is also a huge favorite also.

It is always a pleasure to come to Jrecks in Ogdensburg. Everyone is always so friendly and willing to make the experience the best it can be. The manager is always very polite and always makes sure I had an enjoyable experience. Shawn and his staff always go above and beyond. They always talk to me while I’m here and even suggest new items and different combinations for me to try. I truly enjoy spending my lunch break here and bringing my kids in.

I’ve enjoyed Jrecks most of my life, since I’m not a huge cold cut guy. They know what it takes to make a great hot sub. I’m not sure why anyone would pay more for a sub that’s run through a toaster oven. Their staff is always listening to the customers, instead of rushing them through the line. I also like the family feel of their restaurants. A lot of other restaurants these days have touch screens, TVs, and lounges- I think their atmosphere is a whole lot more relaxing- where people are usually chatting and not distracted by everything going on around them.

Place was clean and welcoming. Service was quick and friendly. Sub was made spledidly. Will go again

We had ham and cheese along with meatball subs fried mushrooms and fried cheese sticks. Very tasty food quick and friendly service.

The bathroom was nasty and all the tables were dirty. But great service and nice ppl. Even polite customers.

Hot subs cooked to order, cold subs with plenty of optional toppings, and nice, soft bread. Beats the big chain every time.

Jrecks ogdensburg charges 1 to 2 dollars more per sub than one an hour away. Plus, they don't ask if you want lettuce tomatoes so you have to expressly tell them you want basic items that are supposed to be on it or they leave them off.

A solid sub at an OK price point. They could upgrade their bread offerings, what they have for the sub is limited and light for my tastes. Otherwise, Jrecks provides a good quality sub

I happened to be doing some cross-border shopping today and was happy to stop in for a bite to eat. The service was very prompt and the menu was easy to read. As basic as the subs are, boy are they delicious! I was pleasantly surprised. I ended up ordering a turkey sub, and it was fresh, Saucy and delicious. There were also other fried Delights available as a side, but I was on a mission so I declined.

Got a few subs and sides from them. Had no problems with the sub, there were the basic typical toppings. Their seafood salad sub was surprisingly good. Their pepperoni rolls and mozzarella sticks were good in a way you would expect them to taste. They were not burnt and had marinara sauce served with them. Their fries are the typical skinny fries, these could be better if some seasoned salt was sprinkled with them. Their chicken and dumplings soup was not bad, sort of expected flavor like it was poured from a can though. It definitely needed some pepper to help add something to it.

The orders come out too slow or not correct for the amount of people that are behind the counter. The food is good, but they need to work on their process.

The service was good but the meatballs in my sub were cold. ☹️ Was looking forward to something warm on a snowy evening.

No complaints with the food but there were 4 employees all actively working and it took is over 20 minutes to get 3 cold subs. There were 2 people ahead of us when we got there and about 8 behind us when we left! They don't have a good assembly line, something needs to be done about their process. I have been to Jrecks in Massena, Potsdam and Malone and have never seen this sort of method used making subs.....

Fresh bread is always a plus, although our jalapeno bread had no extra flavor. My boyfriend got the Italian and it was loaded up and average in taste. I got the Reuben and it was very skimpy on meat and toppings, so much I remove the top bun go eat it open faced. The ranch cheese fries were good and loaded up. I wouldn't seek this place out but it is solid if you need something quick.

Pretty decent choice of subs. They don't have all the topping choices like a subway but everything is usually pretty fresh and the place is clean. It's not quite the same sub that Jrecks used to make when I was a kid but pretty decent.

Tiny sub with barely any meat. Turkey was low grade. Curly fries were good.

The lady making the subs did not look or act well and it showed in her attitude. The subs were not made right and to beat all we were over charged.

Sandwich makers don't change their gloves as often as they should. Confusing checkout system.

Spare rib sub was cold and drowned in bbq sauce. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat but the employees barely smile anymore, cheese sticks are always under cooked, and I watched someone take a temperature of meatballs and sauce, wipe the thermometer on her apron and put back next to the microwave without it ever being properly cleaned. Disappointing.

Paid 30 dollars for two half subs a fri and a cheese stick got there at 8pm they are open till 9 pm already had most stuff put away couldn't get the sub I wanted because they already put the stuff away when my husband sat towards the back of the restaurant we were asked to sit at the two tables in the front cause they already cleaned the back then while we were sitting were they asked us to sit eating our food and employee began sweeping directly behind us with a push broom stiring up dust while we ate very unsanitary I think and rude and we were out of there by 8:30 pm for the price we paid for what we got shouldn't have felt rushed and have to worry about dust flying around while eating

Went for the first time today. Should have gone to Subway instead. I ordered a half ham and provolone. There was 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of provolone, and 2 very small tomato slices. The girl putting the toppings on, started putting lettuce and then said do you want lettuce. I said no, so she had to pick off the lettuce she had already put on it. So basically I got a sandwich with barely any meat and cheese. I did the combo with fries. The girl who was at the register said she would bring the fries to me. After about 10 minutes I had to go back to the register and ask for the fries. This place has nothing on Subway or Jersey Mike’s. Next time I am in the area and want a sub, I know to go to Subway instead.

The food isn't fresh, the restaurant isn't clean, but the prices are good and the lines move quickly. Jreck Subs is one of those inexplicable local restaurant chains - people from the area, including myself, inevitably grow to like the food even though we know it's objectively not good (it's honestly probably dangerous). I'm giving it two stars, but you should definitely go check it out.

Cashier brazenly adds a tip without asking first. You only learn when asking for the receipt.

I gave Jreck a second chance, there will not be a third. One employee handling the food did not wear a mask at all, another was wearing a mask over his mouth but not over his nose. The seafood salad still tastes gross.

Ordered a BLT sub ate the first half when i went to eat the other half all there was were a few crumbles of bacon. I brought it up to the counter, the manager told me they put 8 pieces of bacon on a sub. Well let me tell you there was not 7 pieces on the one half and there was not a whole piece on the second half. The manager was rude then she walked away 10 minutes later she came over to my table and dropped some money on the table said there is the money for your sub and walked away with out another word.

Worst Jrecks. Worker "Will" Put on all the ingredients that I specified I did not want almost as if he were trying to spite me. I asked for no banana peppers and got enough to start my own banana pepper store. Asked for shakers no oil, and I could start my car with the amount my subs received. Clean it up

Owners were complaining about messy customers and calling employees out in front of me. Clam sandwich was like chewing rubber. Terrible experience. Felt bad for staff

Very disappointed in my sub to the point I didn't even eat it. I let my son eat my 1 half and my daughter ate my other. I'm not sure what was up with the mayo but it was nasty and reminded me of mirical rip. Idk if it was actual mayo and it was bad or if they changed it to something that isn't mayo which is the case I'll never eat again. It was tangy and made the sub gross. I'm glad the french onion soup was good though. But extremely disappointed. At least it didn't go to waste since my kids didn't mind but they haven't ate the subs as long as I have so they don't notice the difference.
