Great service and they're taking covid seriously. I had their pad kee mow, which was great, a more savory version. I had it at medium spicy and am dying to try the higher spice levels. Lots of nice veggies to go with your noodles and protein (mine was calamari, yum!).

Baan Thai has the best Thai cuisine around. They have a nice view of the golf course.

I have tried many other Thai food places and I come here I can taste the difference of fresh made good food. Very important to me to be original Thai food. And this place has quality. Curry agrees come in and see he's picture yourself.

Clean and comfortable restaurant to enjoy a lovely meal! I usually get the Pumpkin Tod appetizer, Fresh Vegetable Tofu Rolls, vegan Pad Thai with tofu, Pumpkin Curry and Coconut Rice as takeout for a small party. Service is always reliable and food is consistently fresh and delicious.

We certainty we will be back. Food portions are generous and flavors are on point. We had the pumpkin soup and then a combo plate that had a fried egg roll the crispy pumpkin and potato wedges and chicken satay. Everything came out quickly and hot. I also had the ginger hot tea. It was so good I didn't have to do anything to it to make it taste good as far as my opinion goes. Service was excellent. I just wish they would play ethnically correct music. But that's a small point when you consider everything else was fantastic. Prices are reasonable. It's a little out of the way but worth looking for.

Baan Thai has a great lunch special! They also have a pretty big menu for such a small place -- classic Thai dishes you would expect. The yellow curry is delicious! My one complaint is that every time I go the potatoes in my curry are under cooked and the potatoes are one of my favorite parts!

Food was fresh and tasty, presentation was good, and service was fine. I ordered my food Thai spicy and it was not spicy at all. I'm never sure how to make someone understand that you're serious about spicy. 😁

It's OK. There aren't a lot of options in Orinda, so that colors my review. Curries are definitely better than noodle dishes here. Lunch specials are where it's at. They often don't answer their phone at lunchtime. Restaurant interior is dim and always a little cold.

This was my first time at this restaurant. We were 4 people and only 4 more guests at restaurant. Not busy at all. Food was ok. I was not impressed with their salmon dish no flavor at all. Our brown rice was a very cold, not fresh. We had to asked for reheating the rice. Rice should never be kept in refrigerator and shouldn’t be used the next day. It’s unhealthy. I would not go back to this restaurant again.
