We found this restaurant by chance and chose it for its name! A wonderful surprise, a platter of excellent cured meats and delicious, soft gnocchi with a mountain of homemade ragù. Fair prices. Thanks guys for your hard work. It's great that there are still such healthy places in Italy. We're fed up with the crappy food. Marta

A truly wonderful discovery (rediscovered since we've been coming here decades ago). The rustic atmosphere with large wooden tables and a genuine menu with many seasonal options (we had a very good porcini mushroom salad). The quality of the ingredients used is meticulously maintained (and the results are evident). The local cured meats are excellent; there are many first courses to choose from. We opted for the second courses: fried cod (exceptional quality, perfectly cooked, crispy and not greasy) and picanha, also perfectly cooked. Good wine selection (including by the glass). Fast and attentive service. Recommended 👍

Osteria del Popolo: you feel right at home, you're taken care of in every way. Generous portions, fair prices. If only they had a MOKA pot—you'd bring your own slippers! Keep it up!

A lovely discovery in the province of Lodi, this small trattoria found by chance online. Located in a small village in the province of Lodi, there's plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant. We were warmly welcomed with a smile; they let us choose our preferred table in the dining room. We were immediately served with a choice of water, and then off to explore the very interesting menu, including some off-menu options (that day, there was stuffed guinea fowl and fried cod). We opted for mixed antipasti, including giardiniera, then moved on to a first course, a second course, and coffee to finish, all washed down with a half liter of Gutturnio. The ingredients used were excellent, the portions generous, and the quality/price ratio excellent. Overall, this is a highly recommended place for lunch, serving excellent cuisine at reasonable prices. If we really had to find a flaw, it might be that the appetizer plates were a bit small, but that's nothing to stop us. Given the number of seats, I highly recommend making a reservation. Lunch was served in March 2025.

To finish, an excellent cake with a warm chocolate center. All washed down with an excellent house red wine. PRICE💶: Very good value for what we ate and drank. PARKING🚗: Parking is available both along the road where the restaurant is located and on the surrounding side streets. SERVICE🤵🏻‍♀️: Very fast and helpful service. We also found it to be very professional. LOCATION🏠: Very well-kept, with wooden tables, a true village osteria, where as soon as you walk in the door, you feel at home. An absolute must-visit, just a few kilometers from the highway entrance. So it's also excellent for a quick business lunch. I was super satisfied; try it and believe it. #LISTENZIZI

I haven't been here in years. The management has changed, but the tradition of good food remains. The tavern-like atmosphere is unchanged, and I'm happy about that. The food is truly spectacular. I recommend the risotto, but the other first courses are excellent, too. Recommended.

A great experience at this little restaurant in the Lombardy province. Housed in an old house and run by a couple of enthusiastic young people, the osteria maintains its original features, with thick walls, old photos on the walls, exposed beams on the ceiling, and an outdoor bathroom. The dishes are good, tasty, and plentiful. I had tender, juicy, and flavorful pork ribs. Excellent prices. Service is a bit slow.

Very kind, they let us have lunch at 2:15 PM despite our 15-minute delay due to traffic. Several homemade dishes, including truly delicious gnocchi with ragù. The rabbit was a bit stringy, but the baked potatoes were very tasty. Fair prices, a family-run tavern atmosphere. The outdoor bathroom was inconvenient: I had to endure the rain and cold to use it. A bit out of the way, but a convenient stop just off the highway if you're heading from Milan toward Cremona.

A good alternative to Autogrill's food. I've tried their special of the day (menu fisso). A complete two course meal including house wine and coffee for 11 Euros is a good deal.

A real shame...attracted by the many positive reviews, I decided to have lunch at this homey osteria. The two of us ordered a charcuterie board with raspadura, a plate of tagliatelle with ragù, and a porcini mushroom risotto. We also had a glass of red wine and a bottle of water. The appetizer arrived half an hour later and was missing the raspadura, and the charcuterie was served on a small plate instead of a board. Only after we reported it were we informed that the raspadura had run out and that they had added a few extra slices of charcuterie to the plate (you wouldn't know from the quantity). Moving on, the first courses arrived over an hour after our arrival, and I had to ask for a glass of red wine, which arrived shortly before the first courses (they had forgotten). No discount on the total and no apologies for the service. In fact, we were surprised with a lovely "Hey, ladies and gentlemen, it's Sunday." The dishes were also good, but it's not enough to run a restaurant.

After we were served drinks, we were asked by the owner where we are from. Then he asked if we support our government in a very aggressive way. We said we don't and then he said we are lucky, otherwise he would tell us to leave. We were shocked and insulted. It was pure Antisemitism. We paid and left. Really terrible experience. Don't go there.
