China Brother is a local favorite known for its affordable prices, generous portions, and friendly service. Many praise the fresh, hot food and quick service. Complaints mention inconsistent seasoning and occasional order errors.
Tip: The lunch menu is a favorite for its great value. Many customers recommend China Brother for takeout and delivery.
This is one of the best Chinese food takeout restaurants we have found. It is not the closest Chinese restaurant to us but it is worth the drive. The staff is wonderful and the food is definitely delicious.
First time here the lady on the front desk was nice and respectful, the place clean. The food was excellent I had the the spicy Mongolian Beef, the free large pork fried rice, dumplings and hot and sour soup. Yummy 😋 no pictures cause it was all done
I placed a lunch order over the phone. The female who took my order was pleasant and attentive. She repeated everything to make sure all was correct. My order was ready when I arrived. When I got home, the food was still hot. Crispy eggrolls, flavorful wonton soup, spicy chicken with garlic sauce, tender dumplings, and delicious shrimp lo mein. The service and food were excellent! Portions are generous.
This has been our local Chinese restaurant spot for the last 4 years, and finally getting around to leaving a review.... Sorry for being so tardy! There are a few other Chinese restaurants in the area... but none of them offer a decent sit down service. We have either dined in or ordered takeout countless times. The food is ALWAYS delicious, hot and fresh. If you dine in the restaurant is cozy and clean. They do a brisk take out business, the the cash register area is usually bustling. We usually go for the standards... lo mien, orange or General Tso's chicken dishes, egg foo young, shrimp in lobster sauce, the house fried rice, etc. We also sometimes pickup the dinner combo's which are a really great option for when everyone wants something different. \ The restaurant is family run... sisters, brothers, cousins, etc. Service is always the same people and they are always very nice and polite. Stop in and give it a try!
We ordered the Bulgogi Beef- very tender and great, spicy flavor, and Triple Delight with garlic sauce- best dish I've had. Crab Rangoon was well liked by all, egg rolls weren't my favorite, but my daughter said she loved them. Staff was lovely, very friendly. Would come back for sure
This place is always very good. We were satisfied with the selection and the portion sizes. The portions gave us food for dinner and some leftovers for the next day. Got the Krab Rangoon appetizer which is delicious. We chose the Bourbon Chicken and it is sweet and savory. Also recommend the creamy garlic chicken (it is a bit spicy)! They have good service and prices are right on.
today the rice was even more amazing than usually, usually is good but today was really good, it had a subtly salty flavor like seafood. really good keep doing it!
Eating here nearly 10 years and counting. Hands down the best Chinese in the Hunters Creek area. Plenty of food, cooked properly, and taste great.
Came for lunch with my husband. We were greeted at the door by a sweet gentleman and sat at the table. Our waitress was very pleasuant. Very cute, cozy, clean restaurant. Lunch lasts till 3:30pm which is great. Prices are very affordable and for that you receive a huge plate that comes with egg roll or soup. Egg drop soup is Delicious. Amazing food. Great overall experience. Definitely will be back. Thank you!
WOW!!!! Not only was the food great but they gave us a metric ton if it. They're remodeling right now so you can't eat in but we wanted takeaway anyways. I had the cashew chicken combo with wonton soup and pork fried rice and my husband had chicken fried rice with no vegetable and extra egg. The only thing we have to say that isn't glowing is that the egg rolls are ok..OK... not great but far from bad. I believe they're from frozen. EVERYTHING else was fresh, ample, and delicious. I had leftovers for breakfast and STILL have another meals worth left. The place is very unassuming from the outside but those tend to be the best places.
WOW. 🤩 If you’re searching for the best Chinese food in town, stop right here—China Brother is it. This place has stood the test of time, and for good reason. I’ve ordered from them over the years, and they’ve never missed. But last night? They absolutely outdid themselves. We ordered for a group of 10 hungry people, and every single dish was 🔥 hot, fresh, and exploding with flavor. The portions? Generous. The quality? Top-tier. Every bite had us saying, “Where has this been all our lives?” Even after all these years, their food still has that unforgettable, made-with-love taste that puts other spots to shame. Everyone at the table was blown away. China Brother didn’t just serve a meal—they created a moment. They’ve officially earned a permanent spot as our go-to family tradition. Hands down, the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Don’t walk—RUN to China Brother. Your taste buds will thank you. 💯🥢
Excellent customer service. What a taste their food! Authentic Chinese home-made food cooked by beautiful Chinese people. It's a family business. Please support it. The fried rice is the best in town. Be advised, some business in town are selling fried rice without saying it's Puerto Rican style. It has a great taste too, but it's not the authentic and traditional Chinese style. UPDATE!!! At this time, October 18, 2020, this beautiful people are struggling to keep the place opened during the pandemic. Pick up is the only service available obviously; you can order there, but the best and more secure way is to order online (aprox. 3 bucks more expensive only) and pick up later. As always a top quality home made chinese food for few dollars!
It’s the restaurant you can enjoy the real yummy food including beef noodle soup, creamy chicken!
This is our absolute favorite Chinese restaurant! Everything is so flavorful and cooked to perfection. My husband and I are working our way through the menu, knowing that the next dish will be as delicious as the last. I could eat my weight in their Singapore Mei Fun and they make the best hot and sour soup! The restaurant is small, quiet and comfortable. Never too hot or too cold. The folks there are very pleasant and juggle their busy takeout with dining room service. Even if you must wait for a bit on a busy night, it is worth it! And…it is the only restaurant in the South Orlando/Kissimmee area that makes fried rice the way I remember from my childhood in Chicago; not that ‘oily-yellow-rice-with-too-much-onions’ concoction that other restaurants insist upon doling out. We look forward to visiting China Brother again!
We have been ordering food from China Bro for years. The food never disappoints and they have been the same since day one. Today we dine in and had a great time. Food was fresh and on point.
Love this place the service was great. It was super quiet in there being a Wednesday afternoon. The food came out super fresh and was so yummy. I got the spicy cream chicken and it was super flavorful and the chicken was super crispy. Our waitress was very attentive as well with refills, boxes, and check. Will definitely be back.
Food is good and reasonably priced. Nice portions
Always amazing food when we order! Great service as well, they confirm your order and its always ready within 10-25 minutes! We always order the combinations, TON of food; fried rice, entree, soup, and egg roll (dinner combo). If you’re down for spicy, get the spicy cream chicken, delightful. My go-to is chicken and broccoli or chicken with mixed vegetables. LOVELOVELOVE their hot and sour soup. Cannot find a better tasting one anywhere. Other places do not compare! I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could.
The best chicken wings crunchy and fresh the rice has pork delicious boneless spare ribs amazing !!! I visit frequently clean bathrooms Stop by you will enjoy a great fresh meal
Okay...the best food I've had anywhere in quite a long time. And...for $9.95 !! Really delicious food and fast friendly service. Chinese take out or Eat In. Local favorite based on the amount of people coming in to eat or to pick up take out. Waitress never stopped smiling ! Clean rest rooms. No issues. Family owned. 7 stars out of a possible five ! Yes,it's that good! .
They are my go to Chinese take out! The egg drop soup and friend rice ALWAYS hits the spot. Not only is the food delicious, it’s really affordable. I’m always happy to support this mom and pop shop!
A lovely family runs this place, and it makes sense why locals become loyal. The food came out quick, hot, and delicious. My daughter and I enjoyed our shrimp fried rice!! We saw many people coming for take out that seemed to come very often, the staff make it feel homey.
There’s only one person working the dining room/pickup/order area and she does it seamlessly. Great service and great food been there quite a few times and have never been disappointed. We’ve had egg rolls, wings, wonton soup, beef lo mein, boneless spare ribs, and Bulgogi beef. The only thing they don’t have is a smaller plate for kids but you can always order side items for them if they don’t eat much.
Really good experience here. My son was very grumpy and making messes and they were very accommodating. The food was really good. Great texture on all the tofu dishes. The Honey Tofu was excellent. I would definitely go back.
Best food ever! The atmosphere is so nice, everyone is so welcoming and friendly!!!
Service was super! The food tasted delicious! They serve allot of food! Great price!
The real hometown taste ---Daokou Roast Chicken is a kind of roast chicken originated from Daokou Town, Hua County, northern Henan Province, China. Daokou Roast Chicken is one of the famous traditional Chinese dishes. It is one of the four famous chickens in China (also known as the four railway chickens) along with Dezhou Braised Chicken, Fuliji Roast Chicken and Goubangzi Smoked Chicken. It is as famous as Beijing Roast Duck and Jinhua Ham and is known as the "No. 1 Chicken in the World". Daokou Roast Chicken is crispy, fragrant, soft and tender, fat but not greasy. No tools are needed to eat it. Just shake it gently with your hands, and the bones and meat can be separated by themselves. It can be eaten hot or cold.
So yummy for such a good price, we have so much leftovers, we have lunch for tomorrow
I’ve tried many dishes from here and have not been disappointed. Food is delicious! I’ve dined in, and have had deliveries!

Our go to Chinese food place. Always hot, fresh and delicious. We love that they still have delivery!! Can't recommend this place enough!
Always a good experience, great food & a clean location. Their lunch menu is my favorite!
China Brother has good food at good prices. I tend to look for two items in a Chinese restaurant the boneless pork ribs and duck. China brother is one of the few Chinese restaurants within a wide area that does both and does them well. Also their sauce for the boneless pork is more real in the sense it's not that artificial bright red sweet sauce many Chinese restaurants use. Way to go!

I usually have a great time eating there, service is a little on the slower side but I never minded because I go when I have nothing else planned; but today the server took care of 2 other tables before mine before even taking my drink order. We did specify that we were waiting for one other person, but it shouldn’t take twenty minutes to take a drink order for people who are already there. We waited a total of twenty minutes before walking out. Overall I would come for the food, but if I were you I would order to go to avoid this type of service.
I usually go There for the special fried rice is delicious, but I ordered the fried Krab Rangoon and they were hard and empty not cream cheese inside horrible and super hard . Please make sure if you promote some food make sure t they are good quality .
Approximately 20 years ago when China Brother had their grand opening, I was their very first and now their oldest customer. I've ordered more than 250 meals from China Brother. I have met both brothers and welcomed them into my home. After a bad experience one year ago, I took a year off and I ordered for the first time in a year, last evening. The problem that I asked to be resolved one year ago had never been resolved and it was a simple request. Please make my fried food such as my spring rolls and sweet-and-sour shrimp and pork last, so they don't arrive luke warm and greasy, which is what happened last night. The China Brothers have a newer manager which is their niece and I had a conversation with her today and the only suggestion she could make to fix my problem was to order my food before 4:00 pm. Conversely, I should be able to order my food anytime they are open and set an expectation that all my food will arrive hot. After all, I only live two subdivisions behind their the restaurant. In other words, there is only one traffic light between their restaurant and my home. If management would be more receptive to the comments of their Google Reviews and customer concerns such as mine, they could grow their business exponentially, compared to what it is now. For reference they lost approximately $6000 of my business in the last year and I'm afraid that I may have to continue this trend until they either make a change in the way they prepare my food or until I can find a replacement restaurant. My only other option is to order 7 chicken chow mein's a week, because it's truly the best dish they prepare.
I always order from here but today I was highly disappointed, I ordered the buy one get one items, generally I ALWAYS order “lunch” shrimp fried rice, well the offer combined didn’t even amount to and order of the “lunch special”. $70 worth of food to go elsewhere to make a “meal” complete. (One orange chicken & Shrimp fried rice & crab Rangoon specials BOGO) w/ 2 extra orders & an order of Shrimp egg foo young.

Quick service but food not well seasoned. Came here with a friend. Both ordered lunch special. Egg drop soup was just warm. No extras just eggs and artificially colored broth. I had cashew chicken and the cashews were burned. He had pork foo young and it was very bland. The pork fried rice was mostly just greasy rice no veggies or pork to be found. Don’t recommend. We won’t be back.
Purchased szechaun chicken. Trying to figure out where the heat was in the dish. Chose that chicken because I was looking for spicy. Not one ounce of heat. Supposed to be medium spicy to fire spicy more salty than anything. Got orange chicken before no heat either. Had to add my own hot chili oil to get a little spicy.

This was my go-to restaurant whenever I was in the Orlando area. But that all changed last night. I was charged $3.00 for extra rice. $2.50 for hot tea. Our food was salty and just not good. I will not return or recommend this restaurant. If you are looking for decent Chinese food, keep looking.
DO NOT ORDER TAKEOUT you will be ignored while the cashier urges dine-in customers to skip the line. Since you paid already, your food can get cold while it sits ready behind the cashier so they can secure the money of dine in guests who haven’t paid yet. And then! When you have your soup! It takes like dishwash soap!
I am new to the area and after trying numerous Chinese places in this area my family and really enjoy this one so we have repeatedly ordered food from here several times. With that being said this past Sunday I ordered a party platter with them and spent around $200.00 . It was alot of food but there were 2 items missing. I actually called them today to make them aware of that but because I didn't call on the same day they refused to do anything and rather lose me as a customer then make good on two items that would have probably cost them less the 20.00 to fulfill. Really bad business. If anyone can recommend a really good Chinese restaurant in the hunter's creek area please let me know. Thanks.
I decided to try this based on the high rating. After receiving my order (which in all fairness was quick and friendly) I rushed home to satisfy my cravings. First off, the Hot & Sour soup was extremely hot (spicy) and not much of any other flavors. I had also ordered Won-ton, egg drop soup as I like a variety this was salty and no chicken flavor or much of any flavor at all. I tried the Cashew nuts chicken and it was also salty and had a weird flavor maybe 5 spice again nothing I';d like to consume again. Last, I had the mongolian beef which was (to my taste) WAY too hot (spicy) . To my taste I wouldn't want to eat any of the dishes I ordered and I will stay the hell out of this place.
Prices will differ between online, phone, and in person. When restaurants pull scams like this they are struggling. Instead of giving better service or updating the menu they choose to scam/ cheat the very people trying to keep them in business. Don’t see the point of supporting a business that has zero respect for their customers.
The worst Kung Pao Chicken and Crab Rangoon I have ever had. So disappointed. The chicken was dry and there was very little filling in the Rangoon.
We are not foodies. We will eat pretty much anything. Horrible food with the exception of honey chicken. No idea how this place stays open. The bourbon chicken was very dry and bland, the beef and broccoli is dog-food grade meat and comes with a non-traditional sauce and will be fed to my Labrador. Cannot even meet criteria to be called beef, I promise you. To say I'm disappointed in my $60 purchase of 3 entrees is an understatement.

I’ve been a loyal customer of China Brothers for over 10 years, but after today’s experience, I’m extremely disappointed. I ordered two orange chickens with pork fried rice and one bourbon chicken with shrimp fried rice, and the food was terrible—completely lacking in quality and flavor. I called the restaurant to express my concerns respectfully, hoping they would handle the situation with care, especially given my long-standing support. Unfortunately, the entire staff was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of trying to make things right, they made the situation worse with their poor attitude and lack of accountability. This is not how you treat loyal customers. I’ve always supported this business, but after today, I’m truly reconsidering if it’s worth returning. Very upsetting experience.
I did not receive the item I ordered, yet I was told it was included in the bag when it wasn’t. When I asked about a refund, no one took responsibility. I was passed between three different people only to be told they couldn’t help. Very disappointing experience.
