Tip: Make a reservation prior to your visit to ensure fast seating.
My sisters, my mother, my friend, and I went here for my birthday dinner. I’d always wanted to eat here because I just love the ambience of the Islands of Adventure entrance area, and we’re so glad we went. We went to a lot of theme park restaurants during my birthday trip and this one was the best! Also very reasonably priced given that it’s a sit down theme park restaurant. Our server was funny and helpful, they handled my friend’s allergy very seriously, they brought me out a huge free slice of birthday cake, we learned about the lore of the restaurant, and the menu variety was great. My two vegetarian sisters split the two vegetarian dishes and loved them. My Banh Mi sandwich was fantastic, my sister-in-law loved her burger, and the alcoholic drinks had a lot of variety too.
Outstanding service from Jean! We chose this restaurant as part of our fine and Mardi Gras float ride. They have delicious choices and I'm the end we couldn't even finish everything. It's a bit of a walk from the islands of adventure side to where you ride the float but I found it worth it. The food was delicious and it tasted like quality ingredients, which are hard to find at a theme park. We'll be back.
Confisco Grille was such a pleasure! We weren't sure what to expect when we walked in, but we were pleasantly surprised at how great it was. We had zero issues with gluten or dairy free options and the staff was wonderful. The server tried to explain that Confisco is meant to be a little of everything that is offered in the park. Everything was delicious and we can't wait to return next time we visit Universal. We started with nachos and then I got noodles. All GF/DF.
Confisco is underrated. The food is top notch, and the service is great. I hesitate to say good things about it because I want it to remain easy to get into. I've tried a couple of different plates and they have all been good. The Pork Belly Bahn-Mi is my go to, but you really can't go wrong.
I recommend this place. Today my Birthday and I wanted to eat something special. I grabbed chicken wrap and non alcoholic drinks. + waiter brought me bd present. (Look at picture)
Ate here having multiple food allergies (gluten, dairy, & eggs). Chef Antwan was amazing and knew all the items we could have with or without modifications. Lunch was so delicious, we went back to eat there again.
Have enjoyed this in park location a few times during the 2 parkb VIP Tour. Services are top notch. Menu options are diverse and delicious. I miss the curry entrée with Chicken and Rice but current selections are a hit. Key Lime Pie.... delicious!!!! Bread Pudding.... Amazing!!!
Confisco Grille lives up the meaning of its name, to confiscate! The menu is an eclectic collection of local and ethnic food options. We had a reservation for 5:45 pm and were seated within 2 minutes of arriving. Our waitress was prompt in welcoming us and very attentive throughout our entire meal. In reviewing the menu, it was a very hard decision to select only one appetizer and one entrée as the menu had all of our favorite flavors! As a party of 1 adult and 2 teenagers, we ordered the nachos, chicken quesadilla, wings, and Mexican salad with salmon. The food presentation was spot-on and the flavors were absolutely delicious. Before we left, our waitress gave us to-go cups filled with ice water! A very welcomed treat in the hot afternoon. The restaurant was clean and it was fun to guess from where the décor was confiscated! We would definitely recommend Confisco Grille and look forward to when we can return!
the hummus and pita bread ( take the spicy red sauce out) was the best thing I had during this entire trip. They offered a plant based / vegan peanut pad thai with tofu, and it was soooo good!! the other plate we got were the ribs, and it was perfect. The creamy potato thing around the ribs was absolutely delicious. The server was so so sweet and attentive. The manager even came to ask us how everything was. The only thing I could advise that can be better is the smell and cleanliness of the restrooms.. and it was very easy to hit the servers on the way out of them 😅. There was a 5 to 10 minute wait time when we arrived at around 3:00pm.
We had the best dinner at Confisco’s Grill! Our server Joe was incredible—so attentive, friendly, and made us feel completely taken care of. The food was flawless, thanks to Chef Jimmy. It honestly felt like dinner and a show (wink, wink) because not only was the food perfect, but Jimmy is without a doubt the best-looking chef I’ve ever seen. Hey, hey! Between the great service, delicious food, and a little extra charm from the kitchen, this visit was unforgettable.

Restaurant staff were very helpful and nice right from the jump. Food was fast to come out and tasted great. Very fresh. Rich was our server and we loved his attitude.
Almost every visit to Islands of Adventure involves stopping at Confisco Grille. The food has always been tasty and the service has been top notch. We arrived at the restaurant about 30 minutes early but still had to wait until our reservation time so make sure you pay attention to the time you select. Passholder discount is definitely a bonus and makes it worth it to eat here. The manager even thanked me when I responded on the survey that we enjoyed our experience. 5/5 stars here
Jimmy the chef — and our server Jorel — went above and beyond. My child is autistic and an extremely picky eater, and Jimmy truly made it happen by accommodating my son with chicken nuggets and French fries. That level of care and understanding meant the world to us. Wow. 5 stars all day. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Take a break during your IOA day and soak in some AC here. We made a reservation weeks in advance because it was the only menu we liked. We had chicken sandwiches on focaccia bread. The contents were delicious, the only thing I can complain about is the bread was too thick. Everywhere you look there was some abandoned nautical treasure, the price wasn't bad for middle of a theme park.
A value for money restaurant that you would enjoy and like the delicious food. While we were at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure we were searching for a nice sit down place to eat and relax in the hot summer day. This we found quite reasonable and spacious enough to sit and enjoy a good meal. Try the lemon hummus if possible. You will enjoy this place.
Confisco’s crushed it! Rich was on point—attentive, friendly, and knew his stuff. We had an allergy at the table and Chef Jimmy (owner of the best mustache in Islands of Adventure, hands down) came over like a hero. He made the dish himself AND delivered it personally. Between Rich’s service and Jimmy’s mustache magic, lunch turned into an unforgettable experience!
ShellyAnn really took good care of us! She was very friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns we had, and the food was top notch! We did have to wait for our food for a little bit, but it was worth it!!
Antonio is the chef and he personally came out to serve us their very first dish of their new menu item: Quesabirria ! My husband loved it and I also tried it, so delicious. I had the Ahi Tuna Nachos and was also very delicious! Our waiter was also very nice and the whole experience was great !
Wings, Nachos, Tuna Nachos, and the Fish main course were great. Rich was an amazing waiter who took the time to talk and explain things so you don't feel rushed.
This is a really good theme park restaurant. It gets overshadowed because of Mythos being in the same park. Islands of adventure might have two of the best theme park restaurants there are. This is also a very nice sit-down restaurant with alcoholic drink options. I really enjoyed their nachos and the spinach dip. They also have milkshakes and desserts that are really delicious. I got the chocolate cheesecake and I really enjoyed it. So if you're worried you didn't get reservations at Mythos this place is not a bad consolation prize. Give it a try if you are on the fence. The prices are pretty reasonable as well considering it's a theme park.
Made reservations in advance and had no wait. The AC was a nice addition. The loaded nachos, chipotle chicken wrap, kids chicken tenders, and mac and cheese were delicious. The chicken lettuce wrap was okay. It was rather plain and had strong tasting sauces. Just not used to sesame. Soup was different. Tasted okay. The waitress really nice. Love their attire. Great experience.
Without a doubt the best dining experience we have had at a theme park and our new favorite restaurant at the parks. My wife had the roasted chicken which features a Moroccan inspired flavor profile. It is served on a potato cake with root vegetables. Each element was cooked perfectly. The menu did not indicate it was gluten free but the chef was kind enough to assure us that it was (so either the menu had not been updated with the new item or it was modified). I had the seared tuna noodle bowl. It is served cool and has a higher spiciness so maybe not for everyone. This was truly an elevated meal that we would have been happy with at any restaurant. We honestly felt that the meal was a bargain for its quality and portion. How often can you say that about a restaurant inside a theme park? Don't sleep on Confisco.
Daniel took care of us and did an outstanding job. Not only was he extremely friendly, but he also provided excellent recommendations and answered our questions about the food. He managed to do all of this while training someone! He told us the food was fantastic, and it truly was. If you come here, I definitely recommend asking for Daniel as your server.
Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant? Compared to the other more “fast grab” eatery places throughout the park, this place was more reasonably priced. Pleased to learn they carry GF bread for sandwiches and also fry the fries separately for no cross contamination. The chicken sandwich was good, as was the onion soup. Free refills here!!
One of our favorite Universal Orlando theme park restaurants! We loved our appetizers: Pork Spring Rolls and Ahi Tuna Nachos. The star of the show is their Pad Thai. 😋 Our drinks were delicious and refreshing. Service is always excellent. Love all of the random “artifacts” from other parts of the park as you walk in. Their second floor has fantastic views of the rides. Highly recommend making reservations for this one!
We had Francis he went above and beyond with his service. Very friendly. My daughter is a type one diabetic he went and checked for the carbs so she cottage the correct amount of insulin. Thank you so much Francis ! We rate you a 10/10 !!!
We made a reservation for 4 & were sat at the promised time. My Son asked for a kids piña colada & it was very tasty! The food selection has a nice variety for all. The server was attentive & friendly, cute little restaurant to enjoy your meal and cool down in from the hot sun! We would definitely return ( I always ask the rest of my family if they’d return too)
First time diners. Will definitely not be our last. Came at 12 when they first opened and sested immediately. Big shout out to Alex our waiter who was attentive and professional. Made our dining experience comfortable and enjoyable. We shared the loaded Nachos which was just the right size for an appetizer. Went well with the nice, tart frozen Marguerite. The Korean fried rice with tofu was special. The ceaser salad with chicken a good size. Strongly recommend. #Marguerite #vegetarian #universal #lunch
Best food we have had (between both Islands and Studios)!!! Most of the other food we have had has disappointed us but this food WOW’d us. Chris our server was absolutely top notch as well! We got the nachos, French onion soup, and quesabirria. All 10/10!!!!
We came here as part of our VIP tour. The package came with an appetizer, entree, and dessert. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the food. She made sure my food was safe with my dairy allergy, and gave recommendations on what to avoid. I couldn’t have either appetizer that was offered as part of the VIP package, so they let us substitute for the pumpkin hummus. It had good flavor and we really enjoyed the pomegranate seeds that topped it. For the entree we both had Chicken Pad Thai. Mine had vegan sauce because of the dairy. The sauce was thick and I found it just the right amount of savory. Dessert time was a vegan brownie for me because I’m allergic to dairy. It was rich, pretty big, and scrumptious. Yet my husband got a small frozen chocolate bar as part of the VIP tour, it was hard and gross. Although others in our group said they were able to order what they wanted. The restaurant overall was clean, accessible, and the staff was friendly.
We had the best experience at Confisco out of all the dinner reservations during our stay at Universal. Our server, Rich, was very knowledgeable and took excellent care of our party of 9. Don’t overlook this restaurant at the beginning of Islands of Adventure.
The restaurant confisco's is for us right now the best table restaurant in all of Universal Orlando. Lots of variety, healthy options and good taste. Thank you to Subcheff Mr. Gutiérrez for his friendly service.
Experienced a crazy change in the weather and our group came in grumpy, hungry, and cold. Rich was our server and he was super professional, kind, and funny. The food was great, and sometimes a meal can be more than a meal - thanks to all!
rich was our waiter and made the experience more memorable, food was delicious! definitely get the nachos and give the quesobirria a try! Place was very clean and we got in swiftly. Will be coming back!
Confisco never fails to amaze me! We had a reservation for 12:00pm and quickly was sat! We then were greeted by our server(Jordan G). He welcomed us and was very professional. When it was time to order i informed Jordan of my allergies and noted what dish I wanted. I ordered the brick oven half chicken, I requested for white rice which they were able to accommodate for me! Upon arrival of the food a manager hand delivered my food to make sure everything was correct. I was very pleased and the chicken was delicious. Not to mention that our food came out in 7 min which was amazing. Thank you so much to confisco and the staff. I’ll forever keep dining here since it’s my favorite restaurant in the park.
We had a fantastic meal with Rich as our server! He made great recommendations for the meal! We had a large group of 10 plus an infant and were quickly brought back. The food was delicious, we had a little bit of everything and dessert. The best meal on the table was the Pad Thai! We had family that has lived in Thailand who said it was the best pad Thai they’ve had in the states!
The food was wonderful. We had the sticky ribs and the corvina and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the corvina. Our sever, Rich, had a great attitude and had a lot of recommendations to help us make our choices. Would definitely recommend if you’re in Universal!
Great service and I got to eat this for free on the VIP tour with two starters, all entrees for each person as well as dessert! Really big portions and great key lime pie! The pad Thai was excellent and almost exactly like the ones in Thailand and the ribs were so nicely grilled! Really recommend to try!
this place is incredible! the themeing is kind of lack luster, but the references to various locations in the park make it up. it's also very tasty, and the service is great. I had a reservation for 7:15, checked in a minute after, and was seated by 7:18. my meal was completed by 8- drink, app and entree. keep in mind this is on christmas night. i got the quesabirria and the birria burger- both were delicious. the star of the show was my mango Lassi, which I'd come back just for that. overall, 5 stars! I'd recommend this place to any family coming and looking for a high-end feeling meal, while not having to go out of your way for it.
Ciara was our waitress tonight. She was so funny and put up with my husbands corny jokes. That alone deserves a raise 🤪 Super polite and helpful. Good and atmosphere was great and a nice break from standing in all the theme park lines!
I absolutely loved Confisco Grille. Seating was fast, waited not even a minute, so it was worth making a reservation prior. Our server, Rich, was fantastic. He was warm, friendly, and attentive. He recommended the Ahi Tuna Nachos, and I was very pleased. Everyone at the table tried it, and we were all absolutely stoked. My friend ordered the Sweet and Spicy Ribs, and my boyfriend ordered the French Onion Soup and the Quesobirria. All of us felt the meal we had was the best version of that dish we've ever had, and my friend said the ribs were the best meal she's ever gotten at a restaurant. Thank y'all for the best dining experience I've had in years. Thank you F.O.H. and B.O.H., you guys are fantastic at what you do!
Our server Rich was extremely professional and polite. The food was great, although it's priced at theme park prices, but what else could you expect? It's good enough for adults with stuff kids will eat too. Great success!
On our second day at Universal Island of Adventure, after a tiring half day of walking around and enjoying rides, we were on the hunt for a full-service restaurant for lunch. We decided to visit Confisco Grille, drawn in by its attractive entrance design. Thankfully, we didn't need a reservation and were seated within five minutes of putting our names down. The interior design of the restaurant is impressive, showcasing an eclectic style with decor that reflects the various Islands in the park. The walls feature a unique mix of paraphernalia that is surprisingly cohesive rather than chaotic, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The main dining area boasts a high ceiling, and horizontal windows above allow ample natural light, while still maintaining a cozy ambiance. We were seated near the entrance, and our server was incredibly friendly and efficient. After a brief look at the menu, we quickly decided on the chicken lettuce wrap and the brick oven half chicken. I was pleasantly surprised by my chicken—it was moist and flavorful, enhanced by a delightful combination sauce. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her lettuce wrap as well. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Confisco Grille. The food and service exceeded our expectations, making it a memorable lunch during our adventure.
We made a reservation here for my son’s birthday who turned 11. We arrived and were seated promptly and greeted so fast! The atmosphere was very pleasant and gave us a moment to wind down after all of the crazy rides we rode. Rich was our server and he was excellent! Knew the menu options and made amazing recommendations. We are so happy that we chose here to eat! When we come back we will surely have this as a number one spot to eat and drink!
**Confisco Grille at Universal Orlando Resort** I recently dined at Confisco Grille in Orlando, FL, and had an exceptional experience. I ordered the Pad Thai, which features rice noodles, mixed vegetables, bean sprouts, chicken, and shrimp all tossed in their delicious house-made peanut sauce. What truly impressed me was their ability to cater to vegan preferences with ease. Upon request, they provided a vegan alternative with crispy tofu and a vegan peanut sauce, which was just as flavorful and satisfying. The dish was perfectly paired with the Yealands Sauvignon Blanc, enhancing the overall dining experience. In addition to the Pad Thai, the kids in our group enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich and mac & cheese. Both dishes were hearty and delicious, keeping the little ones happy and full. At $25.95, the Pad Thai is reasonably priced considering the quality and generous portion size. I highly recommend Confisco Grille for anyone visiting Universal Orlando Resort, whether you’re a meat lover, vegan enthusiast, or dining with kids. Their attention to detail and commitment to accommodating different dietary needs make it a standout choice.
The tuna nachos were delicious. Jerel was our server and was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a quite get away from the park. My daughter thought her soup was just OK. My wife really enjoyed her Pad Thai. I had the sticky ribs and thought it was a large portion with the right amount of sweetness to the ribs. The lettuce wraps were a little messy but were a good combination of fresh vegetables and chicken.
Yes it is a bit pricy but it is inside of universal park. The food was actually better than expected and server was super nice and attentive. I would definitely go back on my next trip.
We had lunch at Confisco’s Grill in Islands of Adventure and the experience was truly next level. We started off with drinks at the Backwater Bar where Sam and Tim not only took great care of us, but also hyped up how amazing the food was (and they weren’t wrong!). From there, we were greeted by Chaz at the host stand, and even the manager Tori came by to say hello—which was such a warm touch. Our server Richard was absolutely incredible, attentive, and personable the entire time. We also had a few allergy concerns at the table, and to our surprise both Chef Josh and Chef Jimmy came out to talk with us directly. That kind of attention is something you don’t often see—it felt like VIP treatment. Even better, both chefs personally brought out our allergy dishes and checked in on us multiple times throughout the meal. Confisco’s is without a doubt a hidden jewel at Universal. With a team like Sam, Tim, Chaz, Tori, Richard, Chef Josh, and Chef Jimmy—it’s an easy 5 stars. We’ll definitely be back!
Big fans of Confisco Grille! A great alternative to traditional theme park dining! We have tried everything here from nachos and sandwiches to ribs and risotto and never had a bad dish. Service can be slow sometimes, but not bad overall. Ask to sit on the upstairs balcony for best views!
We didn't know what to expect when we decided to try Confisco in Islands of Adventure, but we were pleasantly surprised! The inside is nicely decorated. Our server was jovial and a real joy to interact with. I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries. The food was good, chicken just a tad dry as were the fries. My mom ordered a salad, which she really enjoyed. A fun dining experience, would definitely go back when visiting IOA again.
This was by far the best meal we had at universal. Originally we wanted to go to Mythos for something different than the standard hot dogs and burgers. However, we didn’t make a reservation so the people at the restaurant suggested we go to their sister restaurant, Confisco instead. We were very impressed with the menu itself since it had more variety. And while it was a nice restaurant, it wasn’t too fancy so the prices were crazy. We got the French onion soup, ribs, wings and banh mi sandwich and all of it was delicious - and great value. I highly recommend this place!
Best burger I have ever had! Most importantly for my family is their accommodations for food allergies. My son is able to select from several delicious options which is a completely different experience for him than at most restaurants. The food at this restaurant rivals Mythos without the long wait. This is a hidden gem in the park!
We have eaten here before. Right now they are having Passholder only food items and special offers in the Universal parks and we decided to eat here because we could be seated upstairs. We did not have reservations but were able to be seated in less than five minutes. You can either take the stairs to get upstairs or the elevator, if you cannot make the climb. Once you are upstairs, you can have a choice of sitting inside in the cool air conditioned room or outside on the balcony. We chose to sit inside and still had a great view of the park from our table. The menu can be accessed by scanning the QR code located on a card on your table. I decided to have the chicken quesadillas and was not disappointed. They smelled and tasted great and even came with some pico de gallo, avocado, sour cream and lettuce that made the quesadillas even more tasty. We had great and fast service on our orders and were pleased with our choices. I definitely will be coming back.
We came in for Ride and Dine. We forgot to make a reservation, but the team still took care of us. Armani and Jacqui were the best hostess and server! The food was delicious (tomato burrata dip, quesa birria, and dosi) and came out hot. I love coming here and we will be back.
5/5 stars here
Wow! What an amazing experience! From the delicious food to the service. Our server Rich was amazing and had wonderful suggestions. He took care of us like we were his only table. This experience made me want to come back for more. 10/10 would absolutely recommend. Great job Rich!
If you’re sleeping on this restaurant you are missing out. My party and I were trying to decide between here and mythos. We made the right choice! We got the loaded nachos, grilled chicken Caesar salad, house salad and wings. All the food came out perfect! The hot food was right off the grill and wasn’t luke warm. Everything down to the sweet tea was amazing! You need to put this restaurant on your list of must go to. Our server Jorel was awesome too. Service was great! We never had to wait on refills and all wait staff was on top of everything. The overall atmosphere was great!
Our experience at Confiscós in Islands of Adventure was excellent. My son has a severe shellfish allergy, and Chef Jimmy handled his meal with exceptional care from start to finish. Our server, Kathy, was attentive and professional, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience. We were also very appreciative that members of the management team took the time to greet us personally—special thanks to Emmanuel, Josh, Josiah, and Le’Anna for their hospitality.
We sat outside and had a fantastic laughter-filled lunch with our very attentive and friendly server, Rich! He made two suggestions based on our dietary needs, the Pad Thai and Corvina, and we were not disappointed at all. The corvina was cooked to perfection, and the pad thai with a bit of sriracha, as recommended by Rich, was excellent. We will definitely be back! When you go to the restaurant, ask to be seated in Rich's section. Thanks, Rich!
Ciara our server was amazing. Antwan, the chef, knocked it out of the park with every entree! The miso salmon was perfect, the Pad Thai was delightful and the charred steak so good!!We are still talking about the hummus appetizer.
COME HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES!! For being a theme park restaurant, this is the best place that we have found! The chefs are super accommodating and they come speak to you to understand your allergy and make sure that they can make you something you’ll enjoy. All of the food was delicious and the staff were super kind.
We had a wonderful experience at Confisco Grille. The Ahi Tuna Taco was absolutely delicious and truly unique—the tuna was perfectly seared, well-seasoned, and had just the right kick of heat from the jalapeño. It was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. For drinks, we tried the Blackberry Margarita and the Confisco Margarita, and both were excellent. They were very flavorful without being overly sweet, which we really appreciated. Overall, great food and well-crafted drinks—we would definitely come back again.
Seeing Chef Jimmy and Rich in action at Confiscós Grill was honestly impressive. There were no special circumstances this time — just incredible teamwork and nonstop hustle. They were everywhere: running food, busing tables, checking on guests, and even jumping in to help neighboring tables without missing a beat. It was clear they genuinely care about every guest in the room, not just their own section. Daniel, our server, was fantastic as well — friendly, attentive, and right in sync with the energy of the team. The coordination between everyone made the whole experience feel smooth and welcoming. Watching a crew operate at that level made the great food taste even better. Amazing service, amazing teamwork, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come right back!
I’m local and ate here years ago and always liked the food but went back yesterday for a dinner and ride visit and wow was really impressed with how fresh and delicious the food was. I got the roasted burrata appetizer that had roasted tomatoes, fresh garlic chunks which I could have just ate more of. The pad Thai I’ve gotten before and tasted even better this time. My mom and I also split the specialty dessert for the month- banana pudding. I was expecting a cold pudding dessert but no this thing had real bananas, no artifical pudding, and a toasted meruinge topping and wasn’t that sweet which was perfect. Our server Danny was also super friendly. I look forward to stopping here again when I go back to the parks
Our experience at Confisco Grille was outstanding, largely thanks to Chef Jimmy. Our son has multiple severe food allergies, and Chef Jimmy handled everything with absolute professionalism and care. He personally came to our table, took the time to go over each allergy in detail, and explained exactly how his meal would be prepared safely. His attention to detail, confidence, and genuine concern immediately put us at ease. As parents of a child with serious allergies, that level of care means everything. Thanks to Chef Jimmy, our son was able to enjoy his meal safely, and we were able to truly enjoy our dining experience. Confisco Grille sets the standard for allergy awareness and guest care. Huge thanks to Chef Jimmy for going above and beyond — we will absolutely be back.
Chef Jimmy at Confiscós Grill absolutely blew us away. He personally came to our table to address some allergy concerns we had and explained everything perfectly, down to the smallest detail. That level of care immediately put us at ease. Rich, our server, was a step above the rest. Before we even thought to ask for anything, he already had it on the way to the table. The attentiveness was unreal. But the part that truly stood out — when we first arrived, I was feeling nauseous and queasy. Without hesitation, Jimmy and Rich personally walked me over to health services to make sure I was okay. Who does that?! It honestly felt like a dream. Amazing food, amazing service, and an unforgettable experience. Huge thanks to Jimmy and Rich for going so far above and beyond. We’ll be talking about this visit for a long time!
Our server Rich was extremely professional and polite. The food was great, although it's priced at theme park prices, but what else could you expect? It's good enough for adults with stuff kids will eat too. Great success!
Mind blown!!! The Grilled Angus Beef Churrasco Steak was out of site!! Respect to the Chef who masterfully created this dish. And our assiduous, Venezuela server, Brenda, was a true professional! There is a strong possibility that we just may return again tomorrow! Amazing! Truly amazing! And let me not forget the Manager! He was attentive, confident, and charmingly friendly. Under his leadership and the top-shelf staff that he works alongside, this is the escape for which many are looking and very few find! What a team!! Please note: The dish mentioned above is the main attraction. The only other dish ordered was the Pad Thai and it was not great. Additionally: Ciara Marie and Andrea served us so well the second evening, we felt like royalty.

We visited at 2:15pm on August 7th. Our waiter was very, very kind, and offered great suggestions when I told him I wanted something not too filling as I wasn't sure I would finish my meal. I went with the ravioli. They worked with my seafood allergy by (I assume) making my dish in an area away from seafood contamination. It did take 15-20 minutes of waiting, but it was good. It definitely isn't a top-notch restaurant by any means, but it's good food and a well-needed break from walking around and the heat. The interior is cool, albeit it appears slightly "musty" (it isn't actually) because of the interior style. It does get quite loud, as with any theme park establishment, so keep this in mind with anyone who may be sensitive to this. I will say the Udon is good- there isn't a lot of it, and the solid parts of the dish (e.g. Chinese cabbage) are mediocre. The broth, however, is hands down amazing. Salty yet savory. It definitely isn't authentic upon by any means, but the broth is great. Overall, nice establishment to dine at to take a quick break from a day at the theme park. Don't expect the absolute greatest food, but you can expect kind and patient waiters/waitresses and inclusive accomodations.
Food: Got the Spinach Artichoke Dip, Nachos and the French Dip. The Spinach Artichoke was good. The Nachos were average. Expected more on it. The French Dip was good, but not great. Service: Our server was great. There was another server that was being a jerk to the other workers. Location: It's in between the big rides. Nothing else around it.
Pretty good, the prices are what keeps this from being five-star. The food was good, I ordered the chipotle chicken wrap and was immediately advised (this must be an ongoing concern) that it was going to be served cold and was this okay? I hadn't considered that it wasn't going to be cold, so I agreed. It came with fries - not a lot of them - for $16.95. A tortilla, with *some* diced chicken, a sprinkle of chopped romaine, a tablespoon each of corn salsa and pico, and a slight sprinkle of shredded cheese. A nice chipotle mayo had been spread on the tortilla, I wish there had been more of that. But my point is...that's a two dollar item at home. Perhaps $7.95 at a sandwich shop in your town. So even being Universal's Islands of Adventure...$16.95 is pretty high. Luckily, it was good. :) One of my dining companions ordered Pad Thai. The menu price on that is $24.95. See photo, and decide if you think that is a price you wouldn't mind paying.
We had an amazing time here. Pham was out waiter and he was awesome! Hopefully you get the pleasure of having I'm as your waiter because you'll be laughing the whole time! Oh .. and the food was good too
The food was great and with a couple of food allergies, everything was done right. Just a few glitches...... we were told by the gentleman out front it wouldn't be a problem for us to sit upstairs in our special passholder area. We were then sat downstairs on a small round table barely big enough for us 7. We made due. Also, they ran out of strawberry puree for any drinks with strawberry in it. That seemed strange. Other than that, it was all tasty. The GF nachos, chicken quesadilla, a Sangria, the BLTA, and a chicken southern salad.
We set up a reservation around 1215, we got taken back pretty quickly. Our server was awesome. The food took quite a bit to get. About half way through our wait the place had cleared out. So I'm not sure what the wait was for but either way. I ordered the pad Thai which was good. My fiance git the ribs, she enjoyed them. My son ordered a burger and fries, it was basic. One of my friends ordered a rice bowl I believe and said it was ok.
If you are looking for a decent meal whilst in the Island of Adventure park, this is a great choice. Went there twice during our time in Orlando. In both occassions, the.service was great, Don and Joshua took care of us. Nachos, onion soup, pasta, salad, ribs - these were good, compared to the food served in stalls. Pricing was not too bad, although could have had added a bit more nachos on the order.
Had dinner here and overall it was a great choice. We shared the Hummus Duo and the Nachos which for 2 people was plenty of food. The nachos were on the smaller side but the chili and guacamole were quite good. The hummus duo came with their original hummus and a pumpkin favoured one which was surprisingly good. We didn't have enough chips / pita bread to finish the dip and asked for more which was $2 so not bad at all. Would definitely go back and the lower rating is just because of the slow service but the restaurant was a nice place to relax so didn't bother us too much.
If you're looking to dine here do keep in mind that reservations are required. Our dining experience was fairly mixed though. For starters, the food we had was good. The issues we had were with the service. It started off well, we were seated and our orders were taken fairly quickly. We received our drinks, but then we proceeded to wait a long time for our food. Eventually our server told us the delay was some sort of technical error with the kitchen, but all we know is it seemed like different groups had very different experiences. For example, the table next to us was seated after we had ordered. They ordered, received their food, and finished eating before we even got our food. They did have a different server, so there might have been something to that. I would be willing to try the restaurant in the future since the food was good, but I would definitely be wary of how much time it might take.
It is a regular restaurant inside the Island of Adventure. We were not able to get a booking in their main restaurant Mythos, which is built like a castle with water flowing and a different vibe. Anyhow, the service was excellent, food was also good, it is just that the number of items for vegetarians is limited, but the taste was excelling. Kidd enjoyed. The server had lot of patience in working with us to get the best of the food we wanted. The main chef also agreed to do, what the server to do to her. It is a busy place, went of St. Patrick's day.
We had the chicken curry and Korean fried rice bowl. The chicken curry was good but the nan was served cold. The rice was a bit too soggy for the korean fried rice bowl. Service wise everything was pretty solid although wait times were a little long. Restaurant look amazing with plenty of cool props
This is one of our favorite places to come for a quick snack inside the park. The ahi nachos are fabulous and the provision sodas are tasty, not too sweet. The vegan crab cake has been hit or miss and this time was a miss for me. Services is usually very good, this time our server was efficient and pleasant.
I've been coming to the parks for years but had never eaten here at Confisco. Myself and a friend decided to try it today and it was okay. The server was extremely friendly and got our orders perfect. I ordered the Hearthstone Baked Chicken Sandwich and my friend ordered the Chicken Curry for our main dishes and we split the Loaded Nachos. The nachos were good, but a smaller portion than I was expecting. The Chicken Curry my friend said was a little on the bland side but it was a very healthy portion and the sandwich I got was a healthy portion as well, however the chicken was a little thin and bland. I also ordered the Blackberry Breeze but they were out of Blackberry and substituted Strawberry. The drink was fantastic, with a strong tanginess and fizziness.
Our staff was great, the food wasn't bad and the portion sized were good. It looses a couple stars because the parmesean cheese was really hard and the other food was mid but no real complaints.
We went to have dinner at 7:00 pm and the place was basically empty. The food is decent for park food but it is a shame that everything was served cold. The service was below average. We had to wave down our server because all the servers were chatting and laughing at the entrance to the kitchen instead of paying attention to the customers. The place is nice enough but they need to pay a little more attention to the cleanliness, tables, chairs and floor can definitely use some good cleaning. Definitely not the best experience which is a shame.
One of our goals is to eat at every theme park restaurant so it was time for Confisco. We arrived a bit early and asked if we could check-in. The host stated “We are only taking people at their reservation time” - usually this is not a problem. But I looked in the restaurant and there were only about 10 tables seated. We checked in at 6:00 PM. There were five of us. We were seated in a corner at a table for four with a chair on the end. When Don the waiter arrived he saw the issue and moved us to a round table where we were comfortable. Thanks to Don! Food we had: * We started with the Nacho appetizer - it was very good. * BLTA (Bacon Lettuce Tomato Avocado)- I was impressed with this sandwich. The focaccia bread was soft and did not overpower the taste of the sandwich * Vodka Pasta with Sausage - the pasta and sauce were good. The vodka was not overpowering. There were only four slices of sausage in the dish. If you don’t like salty have them leave out the olives. * Pad Thai - recommended by the waiter. We’ve all eaten a lot of Pad Thai so we were disappointed that the waiter recommended it and it was okay at best. The sauce was sweet - we’ve had better sauce out of a box. The atmosphere is nice. It’s a little bit Spanish feeling with the terracotta tiles. And the air conditioning is on-point on a hot day. I’m not sure the host staff was well-trained. As I mentioned, the guy outside was not rude but not pleasant. The staff inside seemed to now know where tables were at when seating you and it was taking two of them to figure out where to seat people in a restaurant where there were less than 10 parties seated. I did not take a pic of the menu, but what’s posted online is not up to date. Be sure to check out their online menu. If it had not been for our waiter Don it would have been an average visit at best.
This place was ok. It's a fun themed restaurant but it was a long visit. The food is good but unfortunately the service was not up to par this visit. We sat at our table for 10 minutes before our server approached us. It took 10 minutes for our appetizer and 30 minutes for our food to come out. Took 15 minutes to get the check. The appetizer was very good though. Spinach artichoke dip with chips and garlic bread. (There was a $1 upcharge to do 50/50). The chicken wrap is a cold chicken salad, would be so much better served hot. The chicken sandwich with mozzarella was pretty good but the bread is very thick. Same drink 2 different colors and flavor, so I assume they eyeball it. Overall if there are other options available I would recommend to try something else.
Tried Confisco Grille for the first time today. Great service, the staff were super nice, especially our server Beth. (I believe that was her name). Unfortunately the curry I ordered was really bad. There was about a centimetre of water at the bottom of the dish and it was lukewarm like it had sat on the side for a while. The naan bread was really hard and there was no garlic, despite the menu describing it as a garlic naan. There was the tiniest bit of the raita sauce which probably had the most flavour of the whole dish. It was so bland that I couldn't eat it and actually sent it back. Again the staff were lovely and took it off of my bill, but I really don't believe that dish is worth the $26.95 price tag even if it had been hot. My partner had the bahn mi sandwich which he said was okay. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip to share. The dip was edible, but was very burnt on the top like it had been microwaved/broiled for too long and the dip had become somewhat solid. The flavour was okay though. Overall we liked the staff and the atmosphere, but after our experience with the food, we probably wouldn't return.

This place honestly wasn't worth the struggle we had to go through to get our food. Firstly, we were accidentally not put on the wait-list, causing us to wait an extended amount of time to be seated. Once we were seated, we were seated in what was being refurbished to become a pass holder lounge due to the mixup. I will say that it made the experience a lot more peaceful and the fact that they were willing to sit us up there due to the mixup was quite nice of them. We ordered various dishes, with my order of Man n Cheese & our fries turning out well, but with the rest of my party's order turning out poorly. The restaurant was decorated very nicely from what I could see, even including some Easter eggs if you're into finding them around the parks. TL;DR: I won't be eating here again, but it was pretty.
Food here is okay, better than Volcano I think, or maybe becausw I eat more Western food so it is better?! I'm not really a fan of the red shell calzone, it just tastes kinda lame. Pasta is good, slightly spicy. The crepe is way too sweet. If they put less filling creme, I think it would be much better.

DISAPPOINTING MEAL We looked forward to this meal and were sad it didn’t measure up even close to Mythos. The upstairs dining room/patio and view of the park were the best part of our visit. Server was discombobulated and didn’t bring out our apps/soup ahead of the meal appropriately. He also didn’t do a good job refilling our drinks. The soup wasn’t hot and the cheese on top was barely melted. The pad Thai was more like a peanut noodle than what most would consider an actual pad Thai dish. The chips for the poke nachos were stale. Brick chicken came out lukewarm and was dry without a crispy skin. Positive that they can accommodate dietary restrictions and there are many options s.
Food was pretty good...except the jasmine rice. Got quite a few hard ones.....could have cooked fresh rice in the time it came….we did wait a while for the food after ordering…and it was not very busy….walked in and made the reservation and were seated pretty much right away. Also our server Stephanie was nowhere to be found for the most part. It was an unfortunate dining experience Service really brought this rating down two stars….otherwise it could’ve been a 4.
Food was just terrible,it felt like they took it from garbage can,Caesar salad was just romaine lettuce, little bit of cheese and sauce for 17$!!!Dont ever come here, price is insane, quality is 1/10.Service was very bad because there were 6 of us,and they add 18% gratuity when there is 6 or more of you, they were making fools from us. Coke was the only good thing there
We had a reservation because one person in our party has medical health issues and needs to eat on time and can't eat fast food. We arrived 15 min before our reservation to check in and there were many names on the wait-list. after waiting 20+ min, I asked the manager the eta and he literally said " oh you still have another 20 or 30 min for your table, we are running behind" that really hit me the wrong way because he was not apologetic nor professional, he sounded very rocky, he could have said something like "I'm sorry, we are running behind 20-30 min, sorry for the inconvenience". we ended up waiting 55 min for our table. They sat all the walk-ins before our reservation. Again, we had a person with health issues that needed to eat that was the only reason why we made a reservation.
