I recently visited Hash House A Go Go on International Drive, and it was a fun, casual experience. The restaurant has a lively, quirky vibe, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I tried one of their signature breakfast dishes, and the portion was huge—definitely worth it if you’re hungry. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, with a fun twist on classic breakfast favorites. The atmosphere made it easy to enjoy the meal without feeling rushed, even though it was fairly busy. Overall, it’s a solid spot for a hearty breakfast or brunch. I’d go back next time I’m in Orlando and want something satisfying and a little different.
This place is fun but, be aware of the proportions. The dishes are huge. My boys and I went there and we didn't realize. We weren't ready for what our meals would be and actually ordered appetizers, not bright. Between the hot chocolate, the appetizers, and out meals, you could have rolled us out the doors. The staff was very friendly and helpful and kept our drinks full before we even realized they were getting low. It's a really cute place and I think the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes was the best i have had in a long time. The potatoes were so creamy, I wish I had the recipe for Thanksgiving...lol. Anyway, I would definitely recommend.
The food was delicious, and the service was super fast, considering the restaurant had many large parties seated. I got my food within 15 minutes of being seated. I ordered the basic 2-egg breakfast, added sausage gravy, and got the brown-sugar banana flapjack. The flapjack was huge and had an amazing caramelized crust from the brown sugar bananas.
Warning ⚠️ this place serves MASSIVE portions! My husband and I each ordered our own meals here but we easily could have shared one (we each packed half our meals to-go) He went with the Andy's World Famous Sage Fried Chicken. It came out looking exactly like it was pictured in the menu, huge + enticing. He was afraid to order it with Nashville sauce because he thought didn't want his waffles spicy. So he asked to have it dusted with habanero powder with a side of habanero ghost pepper aioli (the way the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich comes). He wasn't disappointed at all, to say the least. He wasn't a huge fan of the Fried leeks on top but he said everything else was delicious. I ordered Andy's Sage Fried Chicken Benedict. What arrived at my table was a mountain of deliciousness! Its a lot of different components, but everything went so well together. And the Chipotle cream really took it to the next level. I ordered a whole else side of it to take with me.
This is not your average breakfast place! We always get their Chicken and Waffles and every time it does not disappoint! All portions are huge so make sure you have room or you can always have it to go and enjoy it again at home! 😋
First time at this location, but I am quite familiar with them. The food was amazing as usual with the iconic gigantic servings. This is the place to come if you are starving!
If you like to eat large portions w/ your meal (& if you follow me, you know I do) then this is the place for you! Perfect for families or parties of any size, the decor is so unique - farmhouse meets retro - so cool! And the staff is so accommodating, shout out to Amy who helped me finally decide on the Chicken Benedict (I was NOT disappointed at all, just look at those pictures!) And let me tell you about the S'mores Mocha Latte... they toasted the marshmallows, man! That way, you get a real campfire taste as your drinking this chocolatey, creamy, marshmallowie coffee goodness. I loved coffee before, but now that I'm on this side of the campfire, I really didn't know love... I really didn't know love at all.
Xio was our server for brunch and was extremely helpful and sweet! We are from Texas and this was our first time and the customer service is second to none. Xio is Bi-Lingual which was a huge plus for my husband and I. Extremely comforting atmosphere, He got the chorizo burrito and it was enough for 3 people! Amazing portions and amazing prices!! Will definitely come here again.
Me and Friends(Golden Girls)took a trip to Orlando for the Orlando Magic Game Friday night had a great time at the game. The next morning we all want good breakfast that morning. We decide to go Hash House A Go Go, our first time there. Our waitress name Eli he had great customer service and very nice and friendly, Eli was right food portion size is BIG!!! Eli was not lying about BIG portion of the food size. The breakfast food was soooooo delicious 😋. Everything was do good. We will definitely be back next time. From Jacksonville Florida Golden Girls
Wow! Hash House A Go Go…. With a TWIST! Was, in a word, INCREDIBLE! We could eat here every meal! The food was beyond good. The portions are huge, but that’s kinda of their thing. The service was top notch. They even valet your car for free. I can’t say enough about this place, Just go try it for yourself!
I’m usually pretty picky about my eateries but this place exceed my expectations. WARNING!!!! The portion sizes are gigantic! The drinks were tasty and pretty. We had the chicken and waffles and we added Nashville hot (on the side) I love spice and this stuff was no joke. Yummy food. Fun environment. Awesome waitstaff! Amanda was attentive and kind. Answering all of my questions and going above and beyond to keep us happy.
My first time at Hash house and it was amazing! They have free valet parking. The wait was going to be 45 mins so I found a seat tat the bar. Food portions are extremely huge! And well seasoned. Make a reservation on open table could save you time.
Very good and generous portions, Bisque waffles were my favorites and the meat lovers hash. Very fast service even though restaurant was packed food came out hot and delicious. Server was very knowledgeable of the menu.
We came here for breakfast and it was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and the portions were extraordinary — you definitely get your money’s worth. The staff was super friendly and our service was impressively fast. Antonio took care of us, and he was incredibly nice, courteous, and professional. We truly appreciated his excellent service. We will definitely be coming back!
Amazing food and great service. We always enjoy the food here. The wait is about normal for the area it is in and the food has big portions.
First stop during this Florida trip! Great spot for families, a quick date, a spontaneous stop on the road or any casual occasion, tbh. The portions are huge, enough for two kids to share one dish. The food could use a bit more seasoning and a longer cook… but it’s also served very hot, in a cast iron pan with many things on the plate and condiments on the table. I wish I would've gotten something more creative or unique to the season! Still, the chicken is satisfying, tastes exactly how it should. The potatoes/hash and biscuit are delicious. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend the chorizo unless it’s a food you LOVE. Btw, it is served with fruits! The food is far from dry; all dishes come with some sort of sauce or dipping. Love that the chefs clearly care about presentation. This place definitely has a southern feel. The staff is amazing! Very hospitable and friendly. They gave suggestions for our trip. The menu is easy to understand, area is easy to navigate and prices are reasonable.
Parking was a real challenge here, with limited spaces for such a busy restaurant. On a bustling Monday, as the bartender explained, there was a 15-20 minute wait unless I chose to sit at the bar. The server was overwhelmed and needed assistance with orders while juggling drink creation from an impressive, extensive menu. The food menu offered some remarkable choices, featuring large portions served in tall, eye-catching presentations.
We wanted breakfast, and... we got breakfast. A lot of it! When I say the portions are huge, THEY ARE HUGE! The prices are a bit steep but you do get a lot of food for your money, plus your in Orlando so everything is a little extra $. The food was... well, let's just say I wish we maybe had gone at a less busy time., We got: - The spicy sage fried chicken Benedict stack, which is the chicken, eggs, tomato slices, raw spinach and mashed potatoes all in a pile topped with a spicy "Benedict" sauce + a biscuit and garnished with orange and cantaloupe slices -Meatloaf and eggs. Served with "griddled" mashed potatoes + a biscuit, tomato slices and the fresh fruit garnish - A brown sugar and banana pancakes - A side of Bacon - An extra biscuit What we thought of the food; - The chicken dish: the chicken was dry/over cooked. The mashed potatoes and biscuit were great. - The meatloaf dish: the meatloaf was very dense which says to me there is a lot of filler/bread/egg in it and the mixture was over worked; also it had no sauce or gravy on it which made it seem kind of dry; lastly it was slightly sweet which I really didn't care for, like it was maybe "griddled" on the flat top with syrup which the menu says nothing about and I would have sent it back to order something else were they not so busy. The "griddled" mashed potatoes were delicious but...if they touched a flat top you could have fooled me, they must have been on and off it in 10 seconds. The dish was sent out without the tomato slices. The eggs were over cooked and not over easy as ordered. It was disappointing overall and would have been sent back as I said we're it not so busy and were we not pressed for time. The biscuit was amazing and massive. The tomato slices (once I got them) and the fruit were super ripe and full of flavor. - The pancake: was okay, just okay. It was on the seasonal menu and had about a 1/4 of the brown sugar the one pictured on the menu had. If you look at the picture included ... the dark brown spots near the center have the sugar and it's more of an afterthought than an ingredient used as a selling point in the item's name - Side of Bacon: there is good bacon and so-so bacon. This was GREAT bacon. Nice and thick, not over or under cooked. Sadly it too was forgotten by the food runner and we had to wait for it - Extra biscuit: this ALSO was not brought out to us with our order and we had to wait for it. But, the biscuits were so good they were worth the wait Service and atmosphere - it took about 20 minutes to be seated for a party of 2. We went on a Saturday around 11-11:30am and it was BUSY. First come first serve for seating at the bar. Our server was nice, informative, answered all our questions and was all to happy to make suggestions. Our coffee and waters were never empty, we did not have to wait for the bill to be dropped and we got our Togo containers quickly. It took upwards of nearly 20mminutes for our food to come out after ordering. There is a lot to look at around the restaurant and yes ... that includes a full sized tractor Parking - they have complimentary valet which is a nice touch because the parking situation is not great. The parking around the restaurant is limited. There is a hotel adjacent and many of the spots you would assume are okay to park in are marked with signs warning non hotel guest's cars will be towed; how long that takes?... we didn't want to find out. There is a shared parking lot near but you have to walk across a pretty busy entrance/exit to the business complex then to get to the restaurant. We really wanted to like this place and had such a high hopes seeing the menu and looking at mountains of food being carried by our table. Maybe we ordered badly, maybe it was just to busy, maybe it was just bad luck for us on that day... if I could I'd give them a 3.5 out of 5 and I'd give them a second chance for sure if we lived closer. I've the feeling next time would be better
------------------------------------ The breakfast was very good, I especially recommend the French toast, but the portions are huge... be careful what you order. The service is acceptable, but it can still improve a lot.
I'll start with the positive, it's clean and the mac n cheese starter was delicious! The banana latte was also yummy, I had a shot of Bailey's added to it and it ended up being $14 but def good! We ordered a hangover burger, a bacon cheddar with mashed potatoes burger and fried chicken and eggs. The presentation was great. Our SIL said the hangover burger was 'pretty good', it was a pretty basic burger with an egg so can't really go too wrong there. Our daughter had the other burger and said it was ok but lacked flavor, specifically the mashed potatoes on the burger. I had the chicken and eggs because I really wanted to try the chicken but wasn't paying $28.99 for chicken and waffles. It presented well however I knew as soon as I cut into the chicken it was going to disappoint. Fried chicken is supposed to have crunch, the skin was mushy and the chicken overcooked. They 'drizzle' syrup on the chicken which was expected but even still with a drizzle the chicken should've had crunch. The breading Itself was soggy but I still tried it and was really disappointed. The chicken itself had no flavor and was overcooked and dry. The best part of fried chicken is the flavor and crunch, this dish had neither. The mashed potatoes were ok, heavily salted but had decent flavor. I did order a side of gravy for my biscuit which was actually pretty good so that's a plus. I didn't try the eggs because they were cold when the food was delivered. All in all, for a $100 before tip, we definitely will not be back. It's been on my bucket list for over 2 years now and now that I can say I've tried it... I'm good.
Went for brunch today, it's very noisy and crowded. The food came out looking good but I lost my appetite immediately due to the strong smell of raw eggs....I ended up eating fries and drinking lemonade. As you see the portions are huge , most people were grubbing but I dine with my eyes, nose and ears along with the taste 😢....server was not good at guiding the menu and the manager had no personality

# Hash House A Go Go en International Drive, Orlando: Un Festín de Sabor "Big-Plate"
