Tip: Great for groups and families. If staying near Universal, it's a short walk from the hotels and a good alternative to the food court.
I can't say enough great things about this place. The ambience is perfect for dinner or lunch. The food was fantastic! I got the churrasco (medium well) with shrimps Al ajillo, a side of tostones and it comes with rice and beans. The meat was perfectly cooked! The flavor was amazing. Everything came out hot! They even surprised my girl with a flan cake for her bday and she loved it! The prices were just right. Definitely will come again!
Sangria was great. Steak was authentic. Onions perfect. Tostones fantastic. Not a big fan of yellow rice but it was good ( dont know if they providedwhite rice). Beans were savory. Side of avocado with olive oil and Vinegar and a sprinkle of salt. Music playing in the background. Yes, it was a delicious meal fit for a king
We visited Pio Pio and were delighted. We ordered the rotisserie chicken and the chicken soup, both with a delicious homemade flavor. The food was fresh, plentiful, and full of taste. On top of that, the customer service was excellent—very attentive and friendly. Definitely recommended! Our waitress was Matteo
My family and I Love everything they serve here. Especially their guacamole with fries plantains. Always a Hit! Don’t think every Pio & Pio is just as good because it’s NOT! This is the place to come for consistency!
The restaurant is simply amazing. The food is incredible. My family has an unforgettable dinner after a very long day in Universal. I highly recommend the place especially to those who love meat.
Came here for lunch with a group of 4. Quick service. Our server Kenyer was very polite and friendly. All the food and drinks were great. Order the tostones w/ avocado and the Peruvian ceviche. Would recommend to a friend.
I first came in 2019 and came back this year. The food is just as delicious—maybe even better! I love this place
Service was very fast food was phenomenal I definitely recommend the tress leeches
Great rotisseries! Tasty, lots of choices, clean, presentable, large spaces. iPads handed out like normal menus but the wait staff does come around like old school service. Best of both worlds. You can customize sides prettyuch anyway you want. The garlic sauce and the green spicy sauce are dense tasty thick like sauces should. Steaks done right. Chicken order half to start. Quarter might not be enough.
A beautiful South American experience in the Heart of Orlando's most touristic area. Any dish is a pleasant discovery. Try any of their natural juices with milk!
The food was DELICIOUS! This is our first time trying Pio Pio and we will definitely be coming back. The portions were perfect, I shared a half chicken with my 2 kids and we still had leftovers.

Me and my family had a great time! The food was great! The service was also amazing! The juices are more like smoothies and I loved it! 10/10 I recommend!
Wow! A most welcoming vibe and helpful guidance from my waiter, Ronald. The menu choices were tough to decide between since each offered so much visual and descriptive temptation! I settled on the Bandeja Paisa and, my goodness, did I make an excellent choice! Accompanied by a Happy Hour Crooked Can on tap and, voila! Everything was so fresh and seasoned to point! Can't say enough other than if you can go with a group that is good with sharing, you're likely to find so many excellent dishes to taste!! Thank you!
Food ? 10/10 some of the best I’ve had . Very tasty and delicious . Service-10/10 it was a slow night so service was top notch and the waitress was very patient with us . Does the outside look sketch ? Yup . We almost didn’t left because it looked almost as if it was closed but my family was sure happy to walk in . The food was amazing and we will definitely try this place again when we come to Orlando again .
Enjoyed ourselves so much yesterday came back today had chicken again hubby had pork chop received awesome service by Mateo great attitude always checking on us nice personality. Maybe mgr can come out and check on customers so we can brag about their servers. Keep up great service
Waitress was super friendly. I had the Gumbo and Carrot cake. It was fabulous. My colleague had a different selection and enjoyed his also. Highly recommend.
We had a great experience at Pio Pio on Sunday, January 4th. Their menu is unique and has many tasty Columbian/Peruvian specialties. The rotisserie chicken was especially delicious. It is very convenient (walking) to Dockside Inn and Resorts - it was a great change of pace from the regular Universal dining options and a great value. I would highly recommend Pio Pio to any Dockside Inn guests looking for a change from the food court who do not want to drive.
I was in Orlando and suffered trying to find a decent meal in Sandy's Springs. I stumbled upon Pio Pio and let's say that has improved my visit to FL significantly. The beef patty, the roasted chicken, etc. I was impressed not only with the food but the decor inside. I did a pickup order but wish I had come to dine in instead. The owners & staff should be very proud of this establishment as they have a flavor that cant be beat in the area. I will recommend 10/10.

We went there because my son in law is from Columbia so he can have food from home… the tostones with guacamole were fabulous… their garlic sauce and hot sauce were really yummy with everything! Best food we have had since we arrived at universal…
Restaurant was clean and comfortable. Staff was good. Our meals were very good. It is not inexpensive but we would definitely go again. We couldn't decided which sauce was better the white or green. Definitely worth trying!
Absolutely enjoyed our food! Always consistent and delicious. However, our service was 10/10!! My husband and I favorite, Daniel took great care of us as per usual. So attentive, great table side manner and just makes us feel like family. I always ask for him because I know my experience will be next level. Thank you Daniel and Pio Pio for a wonderful lunch.
Beautiful restaurant inside, loved the iPad menu which was new for me, delicious food, Service was great and I was very satisfied. We'll definitely be back for more.

We visited this restaurant twice during our trip to Orlando—once for lunch and once for dinner—and both experiences were fantastic in terms of food quality. The dishes were flavorful, well-prepared, and truly exceeded our expectations. However, during our second visit, we noticed that an 18% tip was automatically added to the bill without any prior notice. While we usually tip generously, we would have appreciated being informed about this beforehand. I recommend that future diners carefully review their checks to avoid any surprises. Overall, the food and ambiance were excellent, and we would still recommend this place—just be mindful of the automatic gratuity!

Pio Pio is a Latin restaurant focused on serving Latin dishes within the Orlando area. The service was excellent here. They helped explain any dishes we never tried before. Staff was friendly and brought out food in a timely manner. The food was good. We tried various dishes of meat as well as a few appetizers. The price was decent for the portion, and the meat had a good flavor and taste. The calamari was alright, wasn't the best but fried good and went well with the dipping sauce they brought with it.
Do not waste your money. They definitely pay for the 4.5 rating way overpriced and not worth it at all. I am sure there are other options in the area that are more authentic.

The atmosphere and service were great. The food was tasty. We had a good meal and would be back when are in the area.

We have been to this restaurant three times , food is always great and reasonably priced. the wait staff is always pleasant and helpful. If you enjoy this type of food , it is worth the visit,
Very pleasant location, food was great and tasty. However the service wasn’t very pleasant, the waiter did a mental order and forgot soup and said that they make the soup fresh even when he didn’t bring it, such an excuse. The food still was great and tasty. Still very recommended and tasty chicken.
The chicken is bland just like rotisserie chicken from Walmart or Publix nothing special pollo tropical has waayyyy better chicken. Now we where served by Victoria WOW WHAT A GREAT SERVICE. 100% AMAZING. The chaufa rice was really good and the churrasco too. Yellow potatoes were whatever and creme brulee had a orange flavor it's supposed to taste only like vanilla not orange. The pisco sour and lychee martini were Amazing. Overall it's good but stay away from the roasted chicken.
I'm very unfamiliar with Colombian food so this was a new experience. It's a mixed restaurant of Peruvian which I love and Colombian which I am unfamiliar. I enjoyed the food. I ended up ordering lomo saltado which is Peruvian in the end. None of the strictly Colombian dishes made me want to order them. The lomo saltado did taste different than I'm used to. I assume it was the Colombian influence. Overall I enjoyed the restaurant and would eat there again. It's not a favorite but it was pleasant.
while we always love coming here, we did not have a good experience last time. As soon as we came in the host was very weeded as she was the only one so it took us a second to get a seated. Once we were seated we did not get greeted 15 minutes past. While the language barrier was a little issue with my parents’ drinks (weird bc it’s columbian/peruvian) our server was nice. what bothered my parents was the food timing, my dad had to wait 5 minutes after his bandeja paisa for us to receive our food. You always try to bring all food out together. What put the cherry on top was (i’m assuming the manager) talking to the couple next to us for like 15 min while this was happening, offering them free wine and all the goods. Not only that but a server dropped a lot of plates behind him causing such a commotion and the manager didn’t do anything just laughed. I’ve worked alongside chefs and in hospitality and this was disappointing. Leading by example is important. Giving every guest that is leaving money in your business the time of day is important. The food was amazing as usual but I’m making this review not to get at your employees but to get at management. Do better
