We stopped in Ovada for a bike break🚴🏻♀️informal restaurant as we like it, run by a Genoese couple... excellent fish-based dinner with a final dessert... the lady was nice and available for good suggestions. Recommended
I visited this restaurant over Easter. Unfortunately, they had a set menu, so I wasn't able to try the various offerings. However, we had a great time. The service was excellent, and the food was equally good. The price per person, considering we had two bottles of InTre wine, was very good. I recommend it.

This is our second time here, and we'll definitely be back. The lady is incredibly kind, and the food is spectacular! For dessert, I absolutely recommend the pistachio-filled chocolate cake: DELICIOUS!
During our trip, we stopped at the restaurant for a quick dinner that exceeded all expectations. The food was simply excellent, with authentic flavors and carefully prepared dishes. The real surprise, however, was the lady who runs the place: incredibly friendly and welcoming, she made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for those looking for good food and a warm welcome.

On Saturday, four of us went for dinner. I must say we ate and drank very well. Everything was seafood...spaghetti all'article for everyone as a first course, grilled baby octopus, and fried fish. All washed down with a Muller Turgau. The dessert, chestnut meringue, was amazing. Everything was superb!! Fairly priced. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Went in the evening. The atmosphere was simple and rustic. The lady in the dining room was very friendly. There were only a few tables. The octopus with bacon was good, the stockfish salad a bit bland, and the trofie with clams was not good (it smelled a bit too much of a "fresh" smell, as they say here). The prices, in my opinion, were too high for the dishes and the presentation/service.
A classic trattoria with reasonable prices. The pasta was precooked and tossed back into boiling water. The second course wasn't bad, but nothing exceptional. Affordable and clean. Service was a bit slow after the first course.
Good food, clean atmosphere, friendly service, but definitely overpriced. There were two of us eating lunch; I had an appetizer and a main course, my dining companion had an appetizer and a first course. We shared a side dish and a large bottle of still water. We didn't have dessert, wine, or coffee. The final bill of €96 seemed excessive to me. The food was good, with fresh ingredients, but not expertly prepared or flavorful.
Ho chiamato per prenotare e sono stati scortesi, nonostante tutto ho prenotato un tavolo ma al mio arrivo il ristorante era pieno e il tavolo non era pronto. La signora mi ha detti di aspettare "un attimo". Dopo oltre 15 minuti me ne sono andato dal ristorante vicino. Non posso quindi giudicare il cibo anche se vedendo passare i piatti ho capito che è il classico menù "alla buona" che predilige il basso prezzo.
