This is actually quite a cozy place to eat. Their food has good flavor, and the service is quick. Prices are reasonable for a good mexican dish. I ate here twice already and i cant complain. One plate i recomend would be Cheese w/ chicken Quesadillas. 🔥💯

If you want Authentic Mexican food, this is the plave to go. Food is fresh, and I would compare the tacos and quesadillas to the authentic ones you get in Jackson Heights. They make a great cup of coffee as well 😊

My husband and I recently moved from Brooklyn to Queens! Every Restaurant is nothing but Guyanese. Or course I google Mexican Restaurant and Bang! There’s a Restaurant called Compardes.. All I have to say is the Food is Awesome!! Now we found a Mexican Restaurant... I just wish they delivered by our house! 😞😞😞

Love this place! This is my go to place for Mexican food, it is authentic. Their tacos are very good and so is their burrito bowls.

Their food is always delicious. We tried the horchata and pineapple juice today, very natural, but the horchata did have a chalky taste to it. The torta compadres - soooo good!

Okay so.... Their burritos and tacos are my antidepressants when times get rough :) friendly employees, I just wouldn’t recommend buying food that isn’t popular, like French fries or Burritos with Chicken BUT it is a Mexican restaurant.... Just get your Beef and Tres Leches :D

Authentic, delicious, friendly service, prompt delivery... When it comes to Mexican food, they are head and shoulders above the rest. It's not Tex-Mex or some bootleg place that sells burritos. This is what Mexican food is supposed to taste like. Well deserved 5 stars in my book.

The food here is lowkey amazing i don’t usually eat Mexican food but this place so far top down has it ! Great Authentic Mexican food my personal faves that i order on the usual would be the quesadillas, Burritos,Tacos,There Philly steak is good also and i never leave without a Flan or a Thres Leches !! If you have no idea about Mexican food like me and like chipotle. Get the tacos, they the best and get them in regular the American one is so they charge you more. Steak is what everyone gets so try that. Guacamole literally taste like they bought it from Costco so don’t get it. The fried Mexican bananas are amazing, it’s soooo good and I have very caucasian taste and I loved them!

I wish i could give them MORE stars! I’ve been going here literally since the first day they opened! Steak tacos are my favorite and the GREEN SAUCE IS AMAZING! All the quesadillas are sooo tasty. Really anything on the menu is fantastic, you can’t go wrong stopping in this place. I’ve turned so many people into fanatics of this place like me. I tease my boyfriend that compadres will be catering our wedding but i don’t think I’m really teasing! Thank you compadres for the amazing cuisine ozone park desperately needed!!

I love spots like this, cozy and welcoming spots like this are always a favorite of mine. The food was served fast and warm. Plus they have a variety of food to choose from as well as dessert options!

If you enjoy chipotle but know nothing about Mexican cuisine. Purchase tacos because they are the best and standard American versions are cheaper. Try that as steak is what everyone orders. Don't purchase guacamole because it truly tastes like it was purchased from Costco. I have very Caucasian taste and I thought the fried Mexican bananas were fantastic.

This restaurant is amazing! The staff are very nice and the food is incredible. I usually go for tacos, but I stopped in for an al pastor torta and it blew my mind. Everything is homemade down to the delicious salsas. Definitely get the guacamole, chips and Mexican Coca Cola! There’s usually a wait, only because so many people want to eat here. The prices are decent, and for anyone that thinks they’re overpriced, go sit down, you’re not welcome. Stop in on your way home after getting off the A train!

2nd time coming in to this intimate low key Mexican restaurant, but this time I dined in with my partner. I was craving Chilaquiles Verdes with Steak & Eggs and my partner had steak, peppers, rices, beans, and jalapeños. I had agua de jamaica which was pretty solid and great size for the price. We devoured everything!! Everything was delicious & we ended up splitting a tres leches cakes which was also great! Service was great! Everyone was attentive and very nice from the moment we entered to the moment we paid our bill. Will definitely be coming back! As a Mexican-American, I’ve been going to Mexican spots forever and can say this spot is a hidden gem for Ozone Park. If you want delicious Mexican food, this is the spot!

This restaurant has just moved to my top favorites in the community, I've passed this establishment so many times and always wondered how the food taste. A few days ago my girlfriend and I decided to try it and we were pleasantly pleased of the quality, taste, seasoning and freshness of the food. The order process was smooth, we used seamless and when the food arrived everything was correct. The food was so fresh and well prepared that we enjoyed every bite, and it was so plentiful that we had leftovers for the next day. I give this restaurant 5☆'s and if I could I would give 10!!! Their nachos are amazing!!! Ordered the carne asada nachos and the American style tacos and was definitely not disappointed. My girlfriend had their quesadillas and that was also very tasty. Definitely recommend it to anyone who is craving nachos

Food was decent . Prices are ok ... as for tacos they’re like 7/10 don’t know if it was cause I came in the afternoon or what but tacos are a little stale and bland . Burritos lack a lot of toppings as well . The flan I had was really caked up . But for the location it’s pretty convenient.

The food is really good but a little pricy. When they first moved here, I like others, did not like their food. But I didn't give up on them because they are right around the corner from me. I gave them a few chances and they gradually improved to where the food is really good.

The food is good. The prices on some things are within the range of other places, I will say that I had also ordered a side of guacamole and chips I consider it to be overpriced for the portion size, it was about $9 more to my bill. Apart from the price it's not bad

Yes Food is good, specially their tacos. The 3 starts are due to their prices. Unrealistic which is why I stopped going. I found the same quality food for less somewhere else.

It's crazy I can't believe I'm actually writing this tbh, $45 for 4 tacos and 1 little plate of nachos, they charge $7.50 for one taco, and the guy on the phone alleged that I ordered "tex mex" when it didnt even say that on the menu, and then he claimed that each taco is different prices when on the menu they were all the same prices with an additional fee of $1.75 for guacamole on each taco which I was fine with, so each taco according to the menu should have been no more than $6, Just know that they upcharge you and try to rip you off for your hard earned money. The nachos was the worst it was just green sauce and sliced meat for $18. I never even paid no more then $5 each for a taco in Manhattan and this Is in the middle of queens.

Place serves up your usual offerings from a Hispanic restaurant. Pretty good portions for the price. Got pernil with rice and beans. The rice and beans were nothing special but will get the job done. The balance of fat to meat on the pernil was off, lots of fatty portions but barely enough meat to eat it with. Plus any meat I got was dried out. Service was good and the prices are very reasonable. They have an extensive menu so I would give them another try in the future.

All I ordered was taquitos, which were fairly pricy and hard. They costed around $7.60 for 6 (~1.30 a piece). The shell was very hard and cracked when you bit into it. It seemed as if they were frozen and warmed up. The chicken filling was tasty on the other hand.

The food is good but the prices are really high for such small portions. I ordered nachos and paid for extra steak. I also asked for extra cheese as well. When my order came I had all cheese and barely any steak. I called back and let them know but the person said they watched the cook put extra steak. I thought it was hidden under the cheese but sadly no. A single serving at the top to make it look extra.

Ordered nachos. Who use yellow nacho cheese. Most Mexican places use mozerral melted cheese. I mean taste is not bad. Not from around the area. So just picked a random spot.

Been eating at this place awhile. Tasty and filling. Price is a bit elevated however, the flavor and quality of the food is worth it. Never had a problem till today - tacos were cold. Would have put them in the microwave to warm them up but I had to ask for Guacamole.

Not sure if I got the location right so please take this with a grain of salt. If it is the location I recall then it is a Taco joint owned and operated by a lovely East Asian couple. If that is correct then the 2 stars I gave are very appropriate. If not then I apologize and ask everyone reading to please disregard this. Cheers!

Ordered the Taco Al Pastor not good at all. I don’t know how all these 4 and 5 star reviews are on here.The meat was dry in the taco and doesn’t have any taste at all and these sauces didn’t help to make it better. The customer service was very good though.

My husband and I love this place! !! It is authentic! I love the burritos, mexican tacos, and the guac with chips. The service is pretty good too. Update: this place has fallen off their high standards! The quality is no longer there.The food was terrible the last time we were there. We had to send a couple of things back; the tres leches cake spoiled, when I told the server he took it to the manager who then tasted it and agreed.

I ordered a beef burrito bowl and chicken soup and it literally made me sick. The chicken soup was the blandest thing I’ve ever paid for. And there was something in the burrito bowl that had clearly gone off. Speedy delivery, but not worth it.

Burrito was ok. 5 out of 10, salsa and chips were 1 out of 10. The salsa was pre-made costco salsa. I know Costco salsa which I have in my fridge same taste texture, eaten Costco salsa hundreds of time. Gave the smallest amount of chips, even less than most places include for free. Chips were thick, hard to crunch and not tasty. Staff was friendly.

I like the ChickenQuesadilla and everytime I ordered food it would be on weekends, and the food always taste fresh. for the first time I order food yesterday, on a Monday and the food was definetely not fresh! The chicken & cheese was was dry and food should be fresh everyday even on a Monday when it is not as busy like a Friday!. I will not order food from here anymore. Thank you.

They're okay!! I brought a salad which was advertised with a free bread and when I got the salad, I asked the ladies in spanish where's my bread since it was noted down it came with bread. That turned me off immediately because if it is advertised bread comes with salad then bread comes with salad!! Grilled chicken sandwich was mediocre.

How excited I was to see an authentic Meican shop..but to my surprise the tacos I ordered was dry and I had no limes to help.. no radishes came with my to go dish neither....the picture looked delicious sad..delicious as not my experience!

Decided to try this new place, the rice is dry, the beans were nasty, no chicken in my CHICKEN QUESADILLAS and the sandwich my BF got was disgusting and not worth the PRICE!!! I do NOT recommend this venue!!!!

Horrible. The food was nasty. The meat was dry and the rice was hard. For the price you pay there you can go somewhere else with more delicious food. The people had the nerve to serve us with plastic utensils and styrofoam plates.

They charge different prices than the menu much expensive, 5 dollars the tongue taco!! One dollar extra in tortas and 50 cents in a different taco, the flavors is nothing special for this prices can get something much better

1st time customer here. I got an order for 2 tacos & rice & beans,delivered. The steak tacos were just that tiny pieces of steak...I think. No lettuce,no cheese,no tomatoes.no nothing as fill. Omg,this is not a taco.Never again will you get my buisnesss.thank god I had the rest in my fridge.what a RIP-off, & the place is not cheap. Buy elsewhere,unless you can see what your getting.

If there was less than one they would get it I ordered two chicken tacos. He packaged them and I paid. Only to come home and find two pork tacos with just cilantro and onion. Not what I ordered i called and instead of being sympathetic towards their error, They acted as if I was back there cooking and made the order myself. Didn’t even offer to have one of there drivers or bicyclist bring me the correct order. He prefer me come back out in the rain. How inconvenient. I should of tried somewhere else. But I went against me better judgement. Stay away unless you like poor customer service.

I keep ordering hope the service will improve. Portions are small. The food isnt that bad. Actually has been pretty decent. With the exception of one time when I got a very unediable soup. Was very salty and barely any meat. Everytime they get something wrong with my order. They forget something. Mix up the plates. They have "forgotten" my order via seamless one time. Which I had to call for a refund. I think I will no longer test my luck. They just arent worth the headache of hoping my food will arrive on time, correct or otherwise. Horrible service! Go somewhere else that actually cares on running a business.

There food is good but their service sucks!!! I was a frequent customer. For .60 cents, they wouldn’t let me use my debit card. You will lose customers for a few cents. This is not the first time, I have had an issue with their service but definitely will be the last. I’m not going back.

Today I went to buy a porción of guacamole only , they wanted charge me $6.50 for less than a quarter of an avocado. When I canceled the order the owner said : Go and buy the avocado and do it but in a bad way. Very poor education to attend a costumer.

Ordered today, a scheduled delivery, but they were late, i didnt mind because I figured today was a busy day for them, but then they forgot to pack 3 things from my order, and I understand that it happens however the cherry on top of all this is that they send me OLD chicken . I've worked in a Mexican restaurant before, i know what old meat looks like I know what it taste like. The chicken was a texture like it had been in the fridge for a while but reheated? I've had chicken like this from them before and it made me sick. I hate the fact that both burrito bowls had to be thrown out because they werent edible . Anyways dont think I'll order again. Not taking any chances

In there page they have carne asada with picadillo de tomatos,onions and green pepper but it only comes with the carne asada.... false advertisement.. if I knew that I would've gotten bistec encebollado. Remove the picture or sell as it shows. Learn to do business right!!!! So you dont keep getting bad reviews and train your people correct to pass the phone to the manager and dont just hang up, when people its letting you known how to fix your business for the better...

Had an $80 order was told 30 mins came and hour later driver showed up with no change tols me first delivery call pay with credit card I called the guy on phone asked me 3xa for my card number my wife got on phone to tell them the guy on the phone told her to relax I sent food back will never order again

Place used to be so much better years ago when it was located on 78th street and 101ave. It was always consistent and the owner and the family were very friendly, fast and accommodating. Staff now can be incredibly rude at times. Rude like telling you what you ordered over the phone instead of saying what they heard you order. I don't eat shrimp never ate shrimp and have a mild allergy to shrimp so unless I was ordering for someone else shrimp would never be part of my order. I realized before opening the food because the price was so high I had to ask of they raised prices. After going back and forth with the gentleman for 15 minutes about what my order should have been he finally just says he isn't going to fight he'll just make the food over. At this point I don't want the food I've spent time I didn't have to waste and got into a very heated discussion about what I'm being told came out of my own mouth. I immediately just tell him not to begin making the food order ill just take the cash I had already handed to him back. This man literally pulled his hand back from the counter out in on his chest and said he wouldn't give me my money back. I had to get irate before the lady behind him says in Spanish she's wrong but just give her the money. I got my money but for her to say I'm wrong was just unnecessary. Your experinece might go differently so long your order is correct but food taste has consistently declined.

My kid threw up, and when I asked for paper towels to clean he said no..they arent for sale. . What kind of person does that? Food was subpar hence my kid got sick. Undercooked.

Compadres Mexican restaurant in Ozone Park is the worst Mexican restaurant. I ordered chicken flautas, they were disgusting. Everything tasted bad, it seemed like it was delicious. The tacos have no flavor, they give me a stomach ache. I don't recommend them.

Called in an order to have food delivered. Initially, questioned whether order maybe delivered response was “YES”. Provided address and phone number. Waited one hour to speak to a woman and stated “driver left 5 minutes ago”. Waited an additional 45 minutes to call and was told food was delivered. Food was never received nor was I ever called. Business owner gave a poor excuse saying he called (wrong#) then to state well the person who took it paid for it(Lie). Not a business I would recommend. Poor service!

The lady acts def when I order over the phone. She ALWAYS LIES and says the sandwich comes with cheese, and it doesn't. Don't call yourself a Mexican restaurant if you can't put cheese on a torta.
