Home restaurant Aquarelle was one of the most outstanding and memorable dining experiences we’ve had the privilege of experiencing throughout our travels. Marisa and Gino were the most gracious and lovely hosts, my husband and I were continuously blown away by the beautiful home and life they live in the stunning Palanzo in lake Como and there are no words in the English language to describe the beauty and experience their place has to offer. My husband and I were just in sheer awe the entire evening. It was truly a blessing to have the opportunity to have a home cooked multi-course meal prepared for just the two of us and get to enjoy it atop of this incredible view above lake Como and the lovely village they live in. I found this place on google while researching restaurants in the local area and have since told approximately 25+ people about how phenomenal this experience is, there is truly something extremely magical about having dinner at Marisa and Gino’s and I can vouch it’s well worth trying to get here because it will be one of the most memorable dining experiences of your life. Our only regret is not being able to eat and drink more due to our limited appetites that evening due to recovering from recent illness but we attest that every dish that was brought out was phenomenal, beautiful, a work of art, and made with love by hand. Overall it was one of the most special and magical dinners we’ve ever had and if we’re ever back in Palanzo/lake Como, we will absolutely be back again- I cannot recommend it enough, everyone MUST try this exquisite restaurant!! It was truly life changing.

Con previa reserva por WhatssApp Marisa os recibirá con grandes platos, cuidando el más mínimo detalle y sirviendo lo mejor de la cocina italiana. ¡Sin duda volveremos!

Had a beautiful evening with a lovely view on the lake. The owners are very nice and accommodating. Most amazing typical Italian food, the only thing we regret is physically not being able to eat more 😉

One of my most memorable dinner experiences ever. Really special place with two wonderful owners. Really great food and wine, could not recommend more. Just make sure to come hungry, it’s a real multi-course menu, I’ve honestly never been more full in my life. We used WhatsApp to communicate a reservation.

Ein zauberhaftes Erlebnis hier den Abend mit bestem Essen und großartiger Gastfreundschaft zu verbringen. Es wurde exklusiv und exquisit für uns gekocht. Insgesamt vier Gänge in bester Qualität. Wir hatten die Terrasse alleine für uns mit wunderschönem Blick auf den See. Unbedingt zu empfehlen! Ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis!

Wat een bijzonder plek! Als je hier in de buurt verblijft een must do in de avond. Je wordt warm welkom geheten door de twee eigenaars die je een heerlijke gangen diner voorschotelen. De eigenaar serveert er heerlijke groenten bij uit zijn eigen tuin, hoe lekker! Het uitzicht is een van de beste van het dorp. Zeer romantisch!

This place is amazing, can’t recommend enough! You’ll have to call/email them to make a reservation preferably a day before. They will ask if you have any allergies or your preferences and they will whip you a great course meal! Everything was amazing, they grew their vegetables in their garden so everything you get is organic. The owners were so lovely too. Honestly best meal I’ve had by far!

Die Anfahrt ist ein kleines Abenteuer, aber die Gastgeber sind so nett und die Zimmer sehr urig! Der ganze Ort ist wie in der Zeit versetzt.

Definitely the best food you can have in the area. And the price is maybe even to cheap haha. The hosts are super nice and the service is great. We also stayed at their b&b and it was amazing.

We had a wonderful evening. The view from the rooftop was amazing. Delicious food, all cooked just for us two. Great hospitality. We payed 55€ in total for several different courses and a bootle of wine. More than fair prices.
