Recommended by our Airbnb host. Resturant is outstanding. Wife ordered Margarite pizza and I ordered fettuccine with shrimp and clam, my daughter had spaghetti with shrimp and mushroom and truffles. Both pizza and pasta dish are outstanding and cooked perfectly - just simple but taste so good. We also got the catch of the day and fish is certainly fresh and delicious. Would return again.

I absolutely love this place. The ambiance, location, and view across the street are fantastic, and the food is exceptional. The wine selection was excellent, and the pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had by far (Romana.) I would definitely recommend visiting to check it out. Looking forward to coming back.

I was recommended this place as the best pizza in Palermo, and boy, did it live up to the hype! 🍕 The pizza was phenomenal, and when we came back for another visit, I enjoyed an incredible carbonara pasta that I’m still thinking about. Drinks and service were spot-on, and you can tell how popular the place is because it gets busy fast. I wouldn’t mind a bit of music to boost the vibe, but if you’re going for outstanding food- you won’t be disappointed!

A‘nìca is a really cute Italian restaurant right in Palermo. We came here twice as we enjoyed the beautiful outdoor seating area. It’s very cozy and quiet despite being in the city. We tried both, pasta and pizza - everything tasted good. The pizza has looots of topping! ;) It wasn’t the best food we’ve had in Sicily but definitely good and the overall atmosphere is just great!

We had a very good experience at the restaurant. It was full and we didn’t have a reservation so we had to sit inside which was still very fine. We ordered and the pizza was in five minutes at our table. For us, it was just perfect. Edit: we’ve been there another time for the pasta and what can I say it was amazing I recommend the spaghetti verde, it was with a very tasty tomato sauce!

Elegant and authentic restaurant with quality courses. It is perfect for a quite and romantic dinner with excellent dishes. I can recommend the lobster pasta.

Ho cenato da A'nica, scegliendo due pizze: la Tre Pomodori e la Parmigiana. Eravamo consapevoli di non essere a Napoli e non cercavamo una pizza tradizionale napoletana, ma la pizza è stata comunque molto buona, con un cornicione ben sviluppato e ingredienti di qualità. Abbiamo accompagnato il pasto con la Birra dello Stretto, una genuina birra siciliana. Per dessert, abbiamo assaggiato sia la cassata classica che quella fritta trapanese, entrambe deliziose. Il servizio è stato puntuale ed efficiente. La posizione è comoda, vicina al centro. Abbiamo mangiato all'aperto su un tavolino sulla strada, ma essendo una via piccola non c'era disturbo del traffico, creando un'atmosfera piacevole.

Locale delizioso, vicino al giardino dei Giusti. Abbiamo preso la pizza, ottimi ingredienti e lievitazione. Personale gentilissimo e professionale. Siamo tornati a pranzo e questa volta abbiamo scelto gnocchi (piatto del giorno) e spaghetti alla chitarra con ragù di maiale e ricotta. Bella presentazione e molto gustosi. Il prezzo per i primi varia ed è medio alto (il piatto più caro era 22 euro e il meno 12). Sempre cordialissimi

Abbiamo scelto in maniera casuale questo locale e debbo dire che il fato ci ha aiutato. Il locale è posto di fronte al Giardino dei Giusti in una via centrale di Palermo, ma in posizione un pò defilata e questo a mio parere è positivo perché non subisce il caos della "movida" palermitana. L'interno del locale risulta un pò freddo, mentre l'esterno offre un ambiente più caldo ed accogliente. Il servizio è rapido e cortese e la cucina offre piatti di buona qualità. Il prezzo è un pò sopra le righe, ma in questi tempi tragici, dove il costo delle materie prime è in costante aumento, probabilmente è congruo. Da notare l'igienizzante posto su ogni tavolo, bravi!

Pizza buona, con proposte interessanti, mentre sono rimasto sorpreso dalla scelta scarse di birra che a parte un'artigianale le altre erano classiche da supermercato (c'è da riconoscere che il rincaro per lo meno era onesto). Locale molto carino come ambiente, i coltelli però non tagliavano bene ed era tutto uno stridere sul piatto. 47€ due pizze, due birre e un'acqua.

Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante tramite The Fork. Situato in una via centrale di Palermo, gode di una posizione tranquilla, lontano dal caos della "movida" locale. L'interno può sembrare un po' freddo, ma l'atmosfera esterna è accogliente. Il servizio è veloce e cordiale, e i piatti offerti sono di buona qualità. Tuttavia, i prezzi sono leggermente elevati, il che potrebbe non essere adatto a tutti.

This restaurant should receive 5 stars, but I only have 4 because when I asked for a sauce, I was told " It is not possible". 😯 The appetizers were excellent, including the shrimp which had a lovely sauce. When I got my mixed seafood entree and asked for some of the same shrimp sauce, I was refused! This should not happen at this quality of restaurant. I wasn't even given a reason. So I asked for lemon and got one slice. They did have a nice peach juice and the seafood was good.

Ero insieme a mio marito e abbiamo preso,lui il bis di tartare, molto buone, io invece il polpo in carrozza, non mi è piaciuto molto, era appena scaldato e quindi la mozzarella era troppo pesante. Per secondo io pizza molto buona e mio marito cacio e pepe con gamberetti crudi e tartufo, a sentir lui buoni, io non li ho assaggiati perché a me non piace il tartufo. Cassata siciliana buona, anche se è la prima che ho assaggiato e quindi non ho paragoni. Prezzi nella norma.

Nel cuore del quartiere Kalsa e a pochi passi dal Foro Italico, si trova A’ nica! Il locale è in una location assolutamente gradevole, circondato da abitazioni storiche, con posti a sedere sia all’interno, sia nel dehors, di fronte al Giardino dei Giusti! Il personale è molto gentile e il servizio abbastanza veloce, anche quando c’è il pienone dei grandi eventi! Sono rimasto invece un po’ deluso dalle pizze, per le quali a Palermo, a mio giudizio, si trova di meglio: il menù non spicca per originalità e anche nell’accostamento degli ingredienti si potrebbe osare di più! Abbiamo scelto una ‘Salentina’, che si è rivelata sbilanciata sul salato ed eccessivamente acquosa (l’impasto non ha retto alla quantità di liquidi degli ingredienti) e una ‘Gialla’, che al contrario richiedeva qualche ingrediente che moderasse l’eccessiva dolcezza dei pomodorini! Buono invece il crostone ordinato come antipasto! Conto direi abbastanza alto (52 euro per un antipasto, 2 pizze e 2 bottiglie d’acqua naturale da 75cl), ma ormai non crea più stupore pagare certe cifre per quello che una volta era un confort food!

Ristorante in posizione comoda, vicino al Giardino dei Giusti. L’ambiente era molto frequentato e il servizio ne ha risentito, risultando un po’ disorganizzato. Le pizze sembravano in stile napoletano, ma dall’aspetto un po’ troppo cariche e molli, quindi abbiamo preferito evitarle. Antipasto e primo nella media: buoni, ma non memorabili. Nel complesso, esperienza discreta ma migliorabile.

My waitress was not friendly. She came to the table once to take my order, saying “ready?” And that’s the only interaction I had with her, besides her making a visibly negative face and considering not accepting me because I was alone. When I clarified I had a reservation, she had no choice. The rest of the staff was kind and welcoming, helping me out the rest of my meal and helping me take my leftovers to go. The pizza had too many ingredients so it was soggy and hard to eat, and the Parma ham was extremely salty (which means it’s probably cheap because salt is preservative). BUT the ambiance is amazing, the rest of the staff was friendly and very helpful, and the flavors and recipes were great. All in all a subpar experience, but this place has tons of potential. Train your servers how to give a table a comfortable and welcoming dining experience, and this will make a huge difference.

The service and ambiance were good, but this was unfortunately one of my worst dining experiences in Italy. The caponata clearly arrived microwaved (somewhat warm exterior and cool interior), and the sauce had the taste and texture of something out of a bottle (viscous and sweet, unlike any other caponata I've had while here!). The bread was dense and dry, and the pasta con la sarde was just okay - not overly flavourful. While the servers were helpful and friendly, and the presentation was very nice, this was far too expensive for the quality of food served. Sadly can't recommend.

They did have our table reserved but only one menu available... after 10 minutes we had to ask if we could at least get some wine. It took another 10 mins to arrive. Finally took our order after 20…

I have really mixed feelings about this place. One day I ordered a pizza parmigiana to go which was quite good and fresh so we decided to come for dinner the following day. We ordered a parmigiana and an Angus beef fillet as starters which were good. As main courses we ordered a carbonara and a seasonal pizza with seafood. The carbonara was acceptable - way too salty but the pasta was fresh and creamy. The pizza on the other hand was really not good - it was just a plain pizza dough with some overcooked fish and chewy calamari on top that really didn’t go well together and was unpleasant to eat. I’m not the first person to complain but since we didn’t want to force ourselves to eat it I politely asked to take it back and asked for a Margherita to go instead (since I figured more complex pizzas are not a thing to go for). The problem was the service at this point - the two waitresses that served us started to be very rude from this point like they took it very personally, even though I excused myself for the inconvenience several times. They threw us the bill very rudely, rolled their eyes and made comments in Italian between ourselves right in our presence. All in all, even though rest of the dishes were acceptable, but below average, the service staff’s attitude made it very awkward and unpleasant. Honestly I haven’t experienced such bad service in years. If you want a quick pizza to go and don’t have to deal too much with the waitresses I guess it’s okay but in general there’s no way I could recommend this place. People with such ego issues should not work in hospitality.

The queue was extremely long and the setting looked lovely, so we had high expectation. The foods turned out mediocre. The seafoods were not so fresh and the sauces on all dishes were somehow extremely salty. We were seated inside because the outside was full, but there was next to 0 staffs inside and we had to count on luck that somebody would notice us and come to take our order. Overall this is one of the less nice dining experience in Sicily.

Io e un amica ci siamo fermate per caso, cercando un posto fresco di domenica. Il ristorante si presenta con un punteggio abbastanza alto ma che a mio parere non rispecchia le aspettative. Abbiamo ordinato due pizze, una margherita e lo sfincione palermitano. A primo acchito si presentavano bene. Ma abbiamo trovato due capelli nelle pizza e quando abbiamo provato a farlo presente siamo state ignorate. La margherita era sciapa e un po’ bruciacchiata. Inoltre il personale è abbastanza sgradevole, poco attento e per niente disponibile. Già dall’inizio abbiamo dovuto aspettare 20 minuti per ordinare nonostante molti camerieri non stessero facendo nulla e il posto non fosse affollato. Non tornerei e non lo consiglierei.

We had a reservation at 10:45 PM, but from the moment we arrived, the staff made it clear they wanted to close as soon as possible, despite our confirmed booking. We were rushed to order everything at once—starters, mains, and desserts. The starters were decent, but things quickly went downhill. We specifically asked for the main courses to be served with the starters because we could tell they were eager to get rid of us. The mains were a disaster: overwhelmingly salty and barely edible. While we were still eating, they brought the desserts to the table, explaining that “the kitchen is closing.” The crumble with ice cream was served 15 minutes too early, so by the time we got to it, the ice cream had completely melted. To make things worse, none of the dishes were cleared between courses. At one point, we had starters, mains, and desserts all cluttering the table. The service was shockingly poor—not only inattentive but outright disrespectful, with staff making remarks about us loudly and right in front of us. A deeply disappointing experience, with bad food, rushed service, and a staff that made us feel unwelcome from start to finish.
