Bartenders here are incredible! Taylor, Sonya and one other woman whose name we didn’t catch are excellent at their jobs! Food is great too! We highly recommend the lamb lollipops, oysters and any of the pizzas. Overall though the bartenders and the bar atmosphere is what made our experiences amazing. We came on Monday and then again on Wednesday because the vibes were just that great!
My friends who live nearby are regulars and I see why. From the moment of arrival and met by the valet I knew I would love this place. The view was excellent and my dinner of swordfish was excellent. Had some of their fries which were great crispy on the outside and tasty on inside. Plus their desserts were great especially the key lime. Friendly staff from valet to wait staff.
I don't know where to even start about this place. Giving this place a five star review isn't enough, so here's my 20-star review. I'm a huge, HUGE fan of Chef Paul. I adored watching him on Hell's Kitchen and had been following him for quite a while now. When I found out that he was running the kitchen in this place, I couldn't hesitate to stop by. I flew in over a thousand miles from New York in order to see him for my birthday and whoever I spoke to via their Instagram page worked some kind of magic. I'm still in shock as to what took place when I was there. I arrived there feeling incredibly nervous because I went there by myself. I sat myself in a bar and got myself a strawberry mocktail, which was fresh and delicious. Then came Chef Paul and I was so shy I couldn't even look him in the eyes. I was so starstruck. I told him that I was his biggest fan and he thanked me and said that the dinner was on him, and I was FLOORED with emotions. For my entree I had the lobster cioppino which was absolutely delicious. I ate every little fish meat that was on the plate, but I wished I had a spoon so I can drink the juice because it was just that delicious. I was also awarded the (hopefully) legendary fruity pebble bread pudding with crème on the side and topped with a lit candle which was incredibly sweet of them to do. It was so excellently excellent, it was like savoring a fruity pebble pancake with the crème as the syrup on top along with fresh fruit. The bread pudding with the crème was EVERYTHING. Chef Paul checked up on me a couple of times and asked me how the dishes were and I had to hug him twice because the food was bussin and he was such a sweetheart. Everyone else at the bar was nice. The bartender was a sweetheart. The manager was a sweetheart. The atmosphere was perfect. For a span of over an hour, I truly felt like a princess. I want to thank everyone including Paul for making my birthday truly memorable. I definitely will be talking about it with my friends and family back in Manhattan. - Michelle
We drive by this inlet side restaurant often when here on vacation and the parking lot is always packed during meal time. We walked down there last night and we're able to get a table immediately. What a great place this is....great ambiance, really nice looking bar area and great food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Staff was great, including Daniel C. our server. Ordered the brussel sprout pizza and the night special steak and cheese pizza. Both were excellent, large enough to feed 4 with some to take home. So glad we stopped in and will be back again for sure.
Met the chef Richard! He's amazing! Wow! Amazing food. Oysters, shrimp, burger.... amazing sauces , taste ! Atmosphere A+. Marty the bartender is awesome 👌. The back view is spectacular 👌. This place is a must go to. Best food i have had in a while and the drinks 🍸
Had the pleasure of dining here with 4 friends. It was phenomenal. I had the teriyaki salmon as pictured. Amazing! Daniel was our waiter, exceptional. I have lived & dined all over Florida for over 60 years & I’d have to say my meal was one of the best ever! All the staff were top of the line! Even practiced our putting skills on the complimentary course. All on the intercoastal.
Hi Captain D here at buccaneers The renovations turned out beautiful from the new docks to the restaurant I had 2 very well grilled lamb chops as a starter and the very large shrimp along with mussels and clams with linguine. Captain D Cruises recommends buccaneers highly Cuddos to Chef and staff Let me also just say Captain D Cruises will be taking his dinner Cruises here without worries as to thier enjoyment they certainly will without a doubt
They pushed pretty heavy on social media for their Oyster Day special of $1 oysters -- but when we got there the GM let us know that the delivery truck was late and they were dangerously low oysters! This is definitely a case where good communication solved a problem.. He apologized, and said they were doing all they could to get them ASAP. We had some nice conversation at our table by the window, looking out onto the intracoastal. My guest had a WPB Local Civil Society IPA, while I opted for Gin Blossom from their specialty cocktail menu. We shared a Florida Style crabcake that was very nice, with a lot of lump crab meat, and not a lot of filler. It was still another 20-30 minutes, but then our oysters did appear! To be honest, this was my first time for raw oysters... and they were great! I enjoyed both their mignonette and their cocktail sauce as well. We decided to also share a Lobster Elote pizza, and we both loved it. I mean, that's a flavor combination I've never seen anywhere else! We decided on one more round of oysters each, and then our server tempted us with dessert... She started listing options, but I was hooked at "Fruity pebbles bread pudding". They've only been open a few months - they're still figuring everything out, but we were very pleased and will definitely return to try more of the menu.
Came and hung out with our favorite bartender here, Marty. I had the lamb chops. My friends had the crabcakes and mussels. Everything was delicious. It smelt so good. I forgot to take a photo of my delicious lamb chops but it was bone sucking good. Highly recommend my favorite lollipop lamb chops ever.
I went here with my family Thursday night for a small birthday party and it was great!!!! The service was friendly and there were plenty of familiar faces from times gone by. The chairs are comfortable and the atmosphere is lovely. I can't wait for when they start live music. I ordered the blackened Mahi sandwich. I really didn't enjoy it as much as I could have, I had some dental work done and wrapping my mouth around an entire sandwich wasn't the best idea lol. But tune empanadas oysters and bread were all FANTASTIC. I had never tried oysters before (yes I'm young) but these were great, other more experienced oyster eaters told me that they were very fresh and delicious, and I 100% believe them. And then AND THEN. I had dessert. I got the mango key lime. OH LORD HAVE MERCY. That was the BEST key lime pie I think I have ever had. It was thick and creamy. Not super light like other ones, but so much yummy gooey creamy goodness. It was cold and refreshing and the mango gave it such a lovely fresh citrus flavor. My compliments to the chef! Also, shout out to our wonderful server Owen. TOP NOTCH MAN. So kind, personal and accommodating. That man deserves a raise, seriously. Like yesterday. So yeah, that's my review! I have photos of what my grandmother ordered and of the AMAZING pie that I will have dreams about. I forgot to take photos of the other stuff, I was too busy eating lololol

We love the addition to the island. Great crowd, great service and the menu does NOT disappoint. Come by car come by boat and bring your dogs! Forgot live band waterside!
My wife and I had an early dinner on a Saturday night in Jan of 2026. Our food was outstanding (crabcake, swordfish, grouper) and very fair priced. Waitress recommended we have a drink on the roof top to watch sunset after our dinner— great suggestion. Place is almost a year into their re-opening and knocking it out of the park 👍
We were in town for Astros spring training and found the restaurant searching online. Food was amazing! We had Wagyu beef empanadas, the Sweet heat Pizza and Mango key lime pie for dessert. All delicious! We had a wonderful server, Dominic who was friendly and attentive. The view was gorgeous right on the water. Afterwards we took our drinks upstairs to the marina deck to relax and enjoy the view. Highly recommend! **Edit: I spelled Dominic's name incorrectly in the post but have now corrected. He was a male server😊

We are here for the first time tonight. The place is really clean and the atmosphere is perfect. We had a nice bottle of wine. First we had a mussel appetizer. For the main course, I had bourbon shrimp and grits and Amy had a grouper dish. Both were excellent…as was the brownie dessert. Scott was our waiter and he made us feel like we were the only patrons in the place. Excellent service and super friendly. Will definitely return!
We came with a table of seven and called for a reservation. We had no issue getting the table and being seated quickly. The drinks stood out on the night, it felt like the bar put thought and effort into the selection. The menu is a work in progress but seemed it could focus on a theme or selection for most people in the future. The empanada as a starter was great. The ceviche was ok but lacked enough flavor to order again. The server Owen was great and handled the large group very well. They did not have a fresh fish option for their daily catch which was disappointing for a water front place. The absolute best part of the meal was the pizzas. If you get one thing on the menu get the Brussel sprout pizza.
Brought a big group (10) for the upstairs bar for sunset, but they closed it early, so maybe next time. Downstairs inside bar was very nice, with a friendly atmosphere. Food we had at the bar was very good! One suggestion, leave the jalapeño off the lobster pizza, it overpowers the lobster flavor. I hope i remember to ask "hold the jalapeño!" next time. Returning for another family gathering Nov 1, and looking forward to visiting again.

Restaurant is definitely beautiful but the food needs some improvement. My Seafood Diablo did not have ANY spice to it but did come with a french fry in my pasta. We had a new Server who had her challenges butI would suggest the Asst Manager ((Jay) take some customer service classes. No personality & very 'direct'. The highlights of the evening were the desserts and the GM, Melea, who saved the debacle with helping to separate the bill . My suggestion- Go for the view, request a table outside and order just an espresso and dessert.
So Buccaneer's Waterfront Bar is gorgeous esthetically speaking, the valet was friendly and quick, front staff friendly and seated us quickly. However, food was lacking. Appetizer of oysters rockefeller was below par, size about a quarter maybe even a nickel and only 3. Lobster bisque was the worst ever, unfortunately, that recipe needs to be nixed immediately IMHO. Bisque should be creamy and pink colored, this was watery and brown colored and bland. We had to add salt to get it down. I'm sorry but the CostCo Lobster bisque we have in our freezer is better. I've never seen a brown lobster bisque before and I hope I never do again. Dinner: wifey was pleased with Lobster ravioli but portions were small, my pan seared fish was good but also small and I was served someone else's dinner by the food runner. Which I unfortunately started eating until I realized this was not my order and had to send back. Meanwhile the Expo is yelling at line on what he needs and what was walking in, how many all day, etc the entire main dining area could hear all of this. Food runners need training instead of auctioning off the food (My pet peeve, as I was in fine dining for years as back Captain or Front Captain during college) the seat numbers should be listed so they know exactly who had what and where to drop the food without asking. I asked and he said (foodrunner) the seat numbers were listed but he didn't pay attention. Server was a pro, attentive and apologized for the problems/complaints. She was excellent! We didn't complain to management because the desserts made up for it. They were excellent. An orange creme' brulee' was fantastic so was the chocolate cake with raspberry. We thought we were going to leave hungry but the desserts hit the spot. I wanted to give some encouraging constructive criticism while complimenting what was excellent.

Staff were fantastic! Restaurant is really nice inside and views are amazing! Live music which was a nice touch. Lobster pizza was OK at best, crab cake was OK, Mahi sandwich was very good. Clam chowder was very good, chicken was just OK. Dry and not much flavor. They won’t do any substitutions which is fine. We would go back for the ambience but the food was a little underwhelming for the price. We had a party of 8 and we all had the same opinion.

Five stars for the bar and the view from the upper deck… One star for the food… Pizza was as bland, and as mediocre as you can possibly get… The grouper was probably the smallest piece of fish I have ever received… And exceedingly salty… Service was great… i’m likely to be back… But will definitely not eat there… Plenty of great options between Jupiter and West Palm Beach… Especially at those prices… Don’t mind paying… But honestly, I wouldn’t eat that food for free… Kind of sad to give this very honest review… But it is what it is… Great drinking place tho….music was great! I used to come to the old buccaneer once a week when grilled wahoo was their claim To fame… The food definitely Could use significant improvement, no matter what the respondent thinks. I stand by my review.
Unfortunately I could give 0 stars. We arrived to sit at the bar during a a busy time so we figured we would have to wait for a spot. We waited patiently and politely behind a couple that was paying their tab for about 10 minutes. The bartenders saw us and made eye contact many times but didn’t say hello. The couple paying realized we were waiting and offered us their seats. I sat down before my husband while we waiting for the other chair from the couple. Someone who sitting across the bar alone came over and immediately jumped into the two seats next to me. I politely started to tell this person my husband was going to sit there, he saw us waiting for over 10 minutes also. The bartender rudely interrupted saying they had people sitting there. I asked if there was a wait for the bar, was answered with an arrogant “yea” which we weren’t told upon entering or the entire time the bartenders saw us waiting there. Apparently unless your a seasonal yuppy you can’t get an ounce of gracious service. The valet was very polite and concerned when we returned to our vehicle so quickly, their service was the best part about this brief visit.
Arrived tonight for a 6:45 reservation. The parking lot was closed. Valet did the right thing and ran my car down the street. When I got inside it was packed. They overbooked. Meanwhile they rearranged the entire seating area and moved the live music way outside. My reserved table was on the dance floor right in front of the bandstand about 30 feet from the main dining room and any other tables. I tried to make the best of it and sat outside for a few minutes. Then thought where was my table that I reserved. Oh yeah it was 30 feet away in a darkened room. As I walked back to the maitre de there was a table for two available but as they so overbooked it was unavailable. Not a great way to treat a VIP. Definitely not a great way to treat a year round resident who is your bread and butter the rest of the year. Now I know why I rarely go out in season.
